A fanatic tea drinker, Mitzi is a colorful young teenager with her own agenda. She enjoys long walks on the beach, cat videos, horror movies, video games, and programming.
Actually, programming is pretty much all she does.
Working tirelessly for two years, Mitzi worked together with a young prodigy mechanic, Rory, and created a machine that encompassed their hopes and dreams for Westeria City: Genesis, a supercomputer with the ability to convert code into matter and phenomenon. The ultimate defense mechanism. No restrictions.
... well.
Other than a limited power supply. And typos that could cause any amount of mistakes.
Other than that, these kids are convinced they have the whole world in their hands.
Rory, thirteen and prodigious in his skills as a mechanic, is still just a boy. Like all boys, he has dreams of being a hero. Sometimes he saw them from news feeds, sometimes from Mitzi's cameras.
And then there's Rory. Just a boy with a small gift. A big dream. And a machine that can provide limitless possibilities.

Though Vince carries the everyday appearance of an unfortunate, but handsome young man missing his right eye, his alias is much more sinister and intimidating figure. Nanites running through his bloodstream gather at the surface of his skin and supplies him with a durable armor that not only stops bullets, but stems bleeding and heals wounds at an incredible, inhuman pace. Poisons have a hard time getting past the intelligible nanite hoard within his body, and though they don't replicate, all their memory is stored within a computer that Vince keeps well hidden. There is such an excess of nanites that can fit within his body, that the ones not used for armor are put on an offensive, often to dissolve targets like a pool of starved piranha.
To make up for his missing eye, when in the guise of his alias, Vince wears a cybernetic implant that has zoom, lock-on, heat sensor, and night vision capabilities. It's also the source of his control over the nanites.
Ji-Min is a murderer, a thief, a liar, and a cheat. Once a part of a dangerous criminal organization, the woman knew nothing but violence and utter brutality. It wasn't until the organization was scattered, hunted, and killed off, did the woman understand the weight of her position. They were animals; treated like dogs and abandoned like them. Beat, and shot, and tortured like them.
She seeks no redemption for her actions, but as one of few survivors of her old syndicate, Ji-Min struggles with a quiet life in a beat up apartment on a slightly better side of town.

Still, whenever strangers decided to pass by the village, she was the first to try and get into their heads. One year, the stranger didn't come back. Zhiya waited every year after, watching every stranger that decided to come into the village. As those years wilted, she gave up on the prospect that he would ever come back.

Most easily described as laid back and easygoing, Masa makes a living from selling anything he and his brother can get their hands on. Sometimes it's fish and sometimes it's trinkets. As good as he is with his hands, it was always an infuriating mystery why he never chose a profession.
Birthplace: Yosai Village Nationality: The Losenji Imperium Current Residence: Yosai Village
One would find it a difficult to believe that this effeminate, soft-featured man is a demon's spawn. As long as Masa could remember, Youta always had a horrid temper. Though many believe the younger brother learned to control it as time passed, Masa observed that Youta just became a very sour and brooding individual, his anger no better than in his youth.

For a short time, Chioma can strengthen the weapons and armor of her allies right in the midst of battle. Blades will cut through buildings and a punch with naught but a gloved hand will fell cement walls.
Isaiyl and his griffin, Rean, have developed a bond that helps them synergize fluidly in battle. Though they take to the skies, the Windrider prefers a close and relentless style of fighting and the spells he perfected over many years reflects it.
The elf is wise in the use of elemental magic, though the destructive nature of his craft often seems as though he lacks control. For this reason, Isaiyl prefers battles in open spaces and avoids using his magic near others.
When fighting, the Windrider combines elements to conjure explosions of lava, daggers of ice, and similar effects, which are often improvised in battle. Where his imagination stretches, there is little limit to the utility of his abilities.

Duke is rarely seen without the dowdy, but effective glaive that was given to him upon agreeing to travel with Luli.
Abilities
Notreallysureyet. I'mthinkingaboutit.
Duke was never a pleasant man. His strength easily landed him the occasional, odd job, but his consistent broodiness lost them for him. Throughout his youth his mother was patient with him, but her worry never ebbed.
One day, a mysterious young lady appeared and approached Duke without prompting. Her demeanor rivaled his own in every possible manner. She was enraptured by the world around her, more than willing to chirp and titter with the people that approached her. Duke hated her at once.
Despite his dislike for the young woman, he was amused by their shared penchant for trouble. She offered him a job as her bodyguard, giving him a chance to leave Tai'emroth at last.
Age: 19 Species: Changeling Place of Birth: Faewilds
Equipment
Wei and Jia
Two of a kind, the dual weapons are fans that rival one another in ability. Wei is a metal fan used to break bones. Jia is a razor fan, used to cut and cleave.
Abilities

There was always something wrong with little Luli. Shortly after birth, there were certain features and quirks that seemed out of place. She had a smile that never faded, and an uncanny grace that magnified as she grew older. Her specialty was to be mischievously vexing, yet too sickly sweet to be disciplined. Her family heaved a breath of air when she departed.
In her travels through Tai'emroth, she discovered a man called Duke. He was her antithesis in every way. She was lithe, he was bulky; she was charming, he was surly. Luli decided at once that she liked him, and they have been inseparable ever since.
Enda is a robust and thickly built woman with a myriad of scars that mar her soft features. In full armor, it would be an easy task to mistake her for a man. This tends to amuse, rather than anger the skilled knight.
Equipment:
A large, claymore-esque sword given to her after graduating from squire to knight. The sword has a very clear, sharp blade that is made from an ore by the name of neelamite that is found in a place Enda no longer remembers. It has the ability to draw in energy and release it at the wielder's will. This includes various spirits, wraith, and elementals. Enda has named it Devoro.
Lagasha Saron Devashin - Sword is sectioned and can extend into the form of a whip. The user can then control the movement and shape of the blade. Blade can also be extended, but at the cost of the user's memories. The sword has an acidic effect on other metals.
Abilities: Using the gems ingrained within her arms and legs, Yanni can create and manipulate a crushing force in front of her punches and kicks. Additionally, she can use this power to run faster, jump higher, and pull of various feats of agility. This power pulls at her physical energy since Yanni has no mana to pull from, so her fights tend to be short.
Yanni has fading memories of her past.
She was a student of a great warrior once, of that she is sure. The city was great and sprawling and its people were progressive and honorable. A way of life had been created where those who passed difficult trials were gifted gems that harbored great power. Yanni had been one of these people.
But... something happened. Yanni couldn't even remember, but there were explosions. Screaming. Panic. Darkness.
When she opened her eyes, she didn't see her sky anymore.

An adventurer at heart, Fen is a wild one. She doesn't spend much of her time within cities safe from the creatures that lurk outside. She braves them, overcomes them, finds companions to help her with the task, and loses them. She has a few trust issues, but she tries desperately to look toward the brighter side, to not let fear govern her way of life.
1 "The vampire dropped from the roof, right onto an unsuspecting human boy. Her hand wrapped around his mouth, and her fangs sank into his neck. She held him close, thinking only of the blood running along her tongue. When the body went limp, she dropped it onto the ground and leaned against the wall of the apartment."
2 "One of the monstrous eelheads went for a young brown-haired lad walking down the street, easily swallowing half his body, snapping it in half."
3 "And then he stepped forwards and plunged his sword swiftly in and out of Robin's heart, aiming for a quick death."

4 "The werecat turned around and made his way back up to the top, only to find Robin ...
... licking the blood?"
-Script
5. "Robin's reassuring smile only made it worse, but eventually Nairi steeled himself and drew the razor-sharp points down Robin's wrist, a grimace fixed upon his face."
-Script
6 "A body floated into the water, twisted at odd angles, with bones sticking out of flesh. A hat floated past Nairi. Robin's little newsboy cap."
7 "A red dot appeared on Robin's temple. Then his head exploded."
8 "Splat. There may have been no visible end at the top of the stairs, but from the echoing crunch of broken bone, obliterated flesh and destroyed limb. Varyn could hazard a guess that there was indeed an end."
-Gasmask
