The Old Growth
To approach one of the few passages into the Old Growth is a thought that dwells only within a suicidal mind. Few creatures of well meaning intent have an interest in plumbing the depths of the Growth, making its borders particularly popular territory for the most violent Fiends and other Dwellers. The trees marking the outer edge of the Sinner’s Ring dwarf all those around them and grow so tightly as to be impassable, with only a few openings appearing around the whole of the Ring. Those that approach said openings find themselves on edge, not only for the high density of aggressive Dwellers, but for the silent compulsion to explore deeper that never leaves their skull.
