The (Un)lucky Few (based off the series "The 100")

A group of teenaged criminals are chosen to be sent down to Earth from their home spaceship "Amell". This is the first time in over 200 years that human contact with the ground will be made (the radiation has been too much for humans to handle until now). Are these inmates able to survive the unforeseen obstacles planet Earth offers? The RP will start the day that the teenagers reach ground.

Specifics
  • The ship name is Amell.
  • Like the death penalty, Amell's government "floated" or sent people off of the ship to float in space, eventually killing them.
  • The leader of the ship's name is Rod Ruth but we do not need someone to play him, he will just be a figure.
  • Each family can only contain one child to keep the population of the space ship at minimum.
  • If you think of any other details, please let me know and I can add it to this list!

Guidelines
  • I would like to have at least 10 characters apart of the RP before we start.
  • You can make as few or as many characters as you would like.
  • Please keep the ages between 16 - 20.
  • There will be some blood and gore.
  • Romance is also allowed.
  • Characters can die or get killed but you must have consent from the character's RPer.
  • I don't have a rule on how long your posts should be. As long as you are interacting with others and describing your character's experiences, I'm good with anything!
  • My posts will probably be around 2-3 paragraphs if it is a descriptive or intense moment but around 4-5 sentences during slower times.
  • Follow all site rules.

Name: Naomi Fei Blitz
Age: 18
Physical characteristics: Naomi has a tattoo on her spine of a tree.

Personality: Naomi is very hard-headed and persistent. She is outgoing and often finds herself taking control of any situation, even if she is not sure what she should do. She can be blunt and rude at times which is the reason she does not have many friends. She's adventurous and curious but this curiosity has never been a positive attribute for her. She also has a short temper.
Brief description of history: Naomi was caught sneaking out of the spaceship in a spacesuit, wanting to experience what floating in space was like.
Skills: Naomi is a great physical fighter. She is observant and a leader.

This is the first RP I've created on this site so if you have any helpful tips I'd love to hear them!

Personality: Chris is a very easygoing and snarky individual. Though his nonchalance may make him appear lazy, he's very resourceful and always willing to help a friend in need. He's also very empathetic and protective of those he cares about. Very much the Dad of a group.

Brief description of history: Chris was caught stealing food for people who couldn't afford it

Skills: Chris is very quick on his feet and an excellent shot with a blaster. He's also good at calming people down
 
Just to clear it up, if I'm understanding this correctly, humanity due to certain circumstances moved the entire surviving population of earth into a ship above the planet.

Yes, multiple ships actually. In the show, it was due to radiation becoming intolerable for humans but after years and years of waiting they thought it was safe to send people down.
 
Name: Thorin Dradge

Age (16-20): 19

Physical characteristics: At 6ft 4in and 200lb Thorin is built like a tank and sticks out amongst the crew like a giant. Thorin has short black hair and green eyes. Thorin hangs out with a tough crowd and has many tattoos across his body, see pictures below.

Personality: Due to his height and build Thoran never really fit in on the Amell, he was always breaking things or just getting in everyone's way, which made him resent most of the crew. Thorin loves to hang out and socialise with his few friends, but to the rest of the Amell he tries his hardest to seem like a very mean monster that could kill you at any moment. Even though the ship did not have much room for exercise Thorin almost always could be found hidden in some corner of the ship working out. Up until he turned 18 Thorin lived a mostly peaceful life and did what he had to to be accepted on the Amell.

Brief description of history: Thorin was arrested for attacking a guard when he tried to stop them from spacing his best friend Rachel. If you want to know more about this you will have to wait until the RP.

Skills: Brute strength, endurance, and a drive for revenge.

Age: 18

Physical characteristics:

Personality: Alex is honest and faithful, unlike most people on the ship. She believes that, being one of the last humans in existence, her role is to protect all living creatures around her.

Brief description of history: Alex is a serial offender, imprisoned for numerous charges of assisting others escape police custody.

Skills: Alex's intelligence and quick thinking are her greatest asset. She also knows CPR and first aid like the back of her hands.

Name: Markus Fletcher

Physical Description: 6'1", 165lbs, pale, pallid skin and lurid blue eyes. Sinewy muscle from from the ship's gym clings to his gaunt frame.
Personality: Markus is cunning and devious. He pays close attention to his surroundings, even though most people believe him to not be. He can set himself to difficult problems and accomplish them, but rarely does so of the volition of others. He holds grudges for a long time, and often plays tricks and sabotages those who caused them, and makes sure they know he did it, although is usually careful enough to avoid punishment.
Backstory: Always barely scraping by in the more advanced classes, Markus was written off as a student who failed to apply himself and could have been something more if he truly tried. He never formed long lasting friendships, and had few connections with those aboard the ship. He was locked up after deciding it would be funny to lock half the ships computers into only being able to play Doom 2, then switching them to 'questionable' content when he was told to fix it.
Skills: Practical skills he has learned in various science and physics classes in school, as well as being in above average physical condition.


I watched the first episode of The 100 for reference and nearly died laughing from the plot holes that you could drive a cargo ship through, as well as the many complete breakdowns in basic human reasoning. The premise was good. I found it poorly executed though. But then again, the pilot for most shoes is usually pretty rocky. I may watch a few more just to see where it goes, and if it gets better.
 
We need more girls here lol. At this rate Naomi's gonna be the last woman on earth.

I'll actually change my character to female, Alex is a unisex name, just pretend the picture has boobs and longer hair XD
 
I've never used a female character before. Just goes to show what I'm willing to do so that this is NOT a total sausage fest.
 
I'm sure Naomi wouldn't mind a bunch of guys fighting over her!!!! :p

But I still think we need a few more people to join before we start anyways and there will probably be another girl.

@WiZ if you want yours to be male, I can make another girl character! But that's up to you just let me know
