Hi people, I’ve recently been into short videos about niche history all over the world and got to thinking about what real life locations could make for cool region themes for future Pokémon games. I’d like something Scandinavian themed, though SW/SH kind of scratched that itch for me for the time being, so I’m fine on waiting for a while for that one.
What I would adore right now is something themed around the Mediterranean region and North Africa. Think of the environments, the architecture, the unique Pokémon designs! Imagine a region that’s kind of shaped like a C surrounding a sea dotted with islands. Greece alone could have so much influence and maybe we’d get some more Greek mythology based Pokémon. We still need a horse fire starter, so maybe a fire flying Pegasus?
