Lifting her head at Billy's warning regarding the noise, she grew tense.

Azura had moved as soon as Nathan approached the locker, her naginata at the ready in case it was one of those undead, ready to push it back from Nathan and herself if the source of the noise was indeed one of the undead.

Gentaro approached slowly, trying to keep his distance from both the locker and Azura. He didn’t activate any switches just in case they aren’t a Zombie.​

Elliot cleared his throat. "I'm not sure that means you have training..." He looked at Bridgette a bit concernedly before looking back to Nathan. "I don't know if I'm a fan of guns."

Rather suddenly, a loud bang echoed through the lobby, coming from one of the locked doors. It had been the door second on the left from where they had entered.

The left door opened to a small office where stacks of newspapers were littered all over the floor. Planters and various minute debris were littered about the room. All that there really was of note in the room was an askew desk a part of the wall that look partly caved in from the other side.

"I'm not so bad now?" Cullen asked Jianyu with a smirk as they went into the right door.

On the right was what appeared to be an office space. Sitting desks sat neatly arranged in rows, though absolutely everything else about the room was a disaster. The windows were boarded up and there were even more of the dead in here than outside. Unlike the left door, there were more ways to go from here. A small office space sat in the corner, though the windows were hard to see through, and another door went back into the hall past the debris.

Bridgette was about to respond to Elliot when they heard the bang. Instinctively she drew her gun again. "That wasn't one of us." She knew it couldn't have been since they couldn't have gotten that far yet. "Everyone. Stay on your toes." As she said that she instinctively moved to get Elliot behind her.

"Oh please, I'll be fine!" Jianyu waved Biscuit's concerns away. "Not like the Maroon Motherfucker is here to push all my buttons. The rest of you guys aren't so bad." Hell, they all managed to work pretty well in Columbia...even if they did get the cops on their asses. Luckily this hellhole was fucked enough already so that any chaos they caused would be microscopic in comparison.

Biscuit walked over to look and see what was on the desk. "That key could be useful I think. Better hold on to it just in case." She picked up the paper and gave it a look. "Same goes for this, not that I know what we could use it for right now though."

The door swung open to reveal... just another room.

Inside was an office space with various lockers. Corpses littered the floor. The room was trashed, though letters were strung up from the ceiling to spell out WELCOME LEON.

There were smaller offices but they were all locked tight evidently. Whatever broke the door open could not be seen.

That couldn't been some weird self-opening door for all he knew, that was too convenient to explain. Exercising great caution, he took a slow step into the office space, his hand lingering close to his tech cube in prep for anything funny.

Jianyu smiled and nodded at Emily. "And I'll take the right." She would move debris out of the way, trying to ignore the smell and the corpses. For a city with a name like Raccoon, this place was depressing as fuck.

"I'll tag along," Biscuit replied following after Jianyu to the right. The other girl had a good enough head on her shoulders but the Jianyu girl was quite volatile so it was best to keep an eye on her. Biscuit thought to herself. "Someone has to keep you out of trouble."

Mebuki headed for the left door to keep the numbers even. Once she got through the door, she took a glance at all the debris around. Like the rest of this place, it was a total mess. Deciding to look at the only part of the mess that seemed noteworthy, she moved to give the desk a closer look.

Seeing that Mebuki had discovered some usefull papers, Emily smiled, deciding to hold onto them (unless someone else had offered) until further notice, but soon eyed the partly caved in wall.

"Stand back. I'm going to break open that wall." She said, quickly warning Mebuki, and anyone else in the room to stand clear.

Normally she would hesitate to knock down any walls in case something lurked beyond, but seeing the fact that the wall had already been damaged, she doubted it could withstand any additional pressure.

She gathered magic in her body, preparing for the possibility of anything else collapsing around her as she imbued her walking stick with that magenta light once more, aiming to break open the already partly caved in part of the wall. She at least wanted to make a crack to investigate what had happened on the other side, bracing herself for any threat that might be coming.​

Then there was a moan. Followed by several other moans.

The wall collapsed in thanks to Emily's magic. Once the dust settled, there appeared to be a hallway beyond. The right side was blocked by debris, meaning only the left could be explored.

At the end of this hallway were two twin doors, though one was locked. The unlocked door seemed to have a shimmering light behind it, judging by flickering below the door.

Moving out of her allies way, while also making sure they didn't accidentally get hurt from her naginata, she took a breath to steel herself.

Azura thrusted her naginata forward to force the zombie coming for Nathan back.

Nathan crept into the office cautiously, his eyes scanning the room around him.

His ears perked up at the sound of movement and groans, he quickly looked up seeing the others he was with in defense mode.

He pulled out his gun swiftly, pointing it back and forth between a few of the undead creatures, aiming for the one the woman pushed back and shooting.

"Man, this place feels like a labyrinth. Just as creepy too," Touma murmured as he traveled with Emily, Mebuki, Kite, Jianyu, Cullen, and Biscuit. It was a stark contrast to the other world from before, but well, nothing ventured, nothing gained. They were here for a reason. Just needed to find out what the reason was.

As they reached the next hall over, Touma tried the two twin doors, first taking note of the locked one before stumbling upon the unlocked one. He furrowed a brow at the strange shimmering light behind it, but there was no telling what it was supposed to be. A trap? Or just an inane detail? Only one way to find out.

Sucking in some air through his teeth, the boy gingerly opened the door, and opened for the best.

Emily moved a hand, prepared to open the door, only to stop and let Touma do so instead. She too shared his sentiment about the creepy feeling the place gave off.

"I've never seen a police station like this one before." She said, tightening her grip on her walking stick as she prepared to meet whatever was behind the door.

Best case scenario, they found whoever the were looking for. Worst? They would find some creature that had made its way in from outside.​
