Reimu sighed as she brushed her hair away and looked at the field below. It seems that one spell card all that was needed to clear the way. Not that Reimu would have bothered to gotten another spell card if it wasn't enough. After all, she had powerful comrades with her, she could just sit back, and watch the field still get wiped.

Touching down to the floor, Reimu walked behind the group, into the castle, and...oh great. It was just as that woman said, those they just defeated were nothing but fairy...or robot fodder, of course, whoever lead the enemy attack would attack the castle, not the field. Invading enemy strongholds was far more rewarding then invading useless land.

Reimu was immediately drawn to a man in the madness of battle, a man with a sacred hammer that smite any fool who dared invade the hall. Reimu could sense a sort of...divinity about his man, with his power of calling thunder down on fools and fodder, and Reimu's sense acting up. Was this a god from these world?

Reimu frowned and stared harshly at the hammer man. They didn't look like much? Reimu took offense to that, and instantly, she was pissed. She replied to the man bluntly. Even if this man was no normal man, Reimu didn't care. Yokai, humans, gods, Reimu saw no difference in them personally. She pointed at the man in her gohei.

"I'll let you know I'm the...former Hakurei Shrine Maiden of Paradise and barriers, and I still technically am. I'm no ordinary human. You haven't introduced yourself yet, by the way."

Billy Batson/ Shazam

Billy felt proud to have made it this far with the rest of them. It seemed that maybe the bad guys hadn't sent their strongest forces against them. But on the other hand, he couldn't help but have this nagging feeling that he had been this complacent before and it had gone horribly, terribly wrong for him and everything that he stood for. He took a deep breath as they went down the path.

" I feel like you always miss something when the stakes are this high. Even a small party can not see the bigger picture of what is going on at the outside," he said, as he looked down at the ground with a smile on his face. He had a feeling that the droids were just the start of something much bigger they couldn't see.

Billy would pull his cape up to make sure that the party wasn't hit by the gunfire or lasers. He was pretty sure that unlike the rest of the people here, he was the only one who was lucky or as some might put unlucky enough to have bullet immunity as his foster brother had called it.

He would look over at the droids and see that there was exactly one man who was defending them all. He wasn't sure if he should be impressed or surprised that it was one man, but then he saw it was something who could control lightning and he felt strangely at home. It felt like when he was
home, practicing with Eugene on using their electric powers. Pro tip: Never use it to charge a cellphone, it will end badly.

" I don't think of us as reinforcements as much as additional help. I'm Zap-tain America and well, there's a lot more to me then meets the eyes,'' he said, smiling and shooting lightning at any nearby droid.

With the combined efforts of the Asgardians, Milla, Billy, and Chise, the droids thinned considerably, but there seemed to be a lot more milling about outside the immediate area. They were like cockroaches milling about, crawling over Asgard like an infestation. Milla felt satisfied when she saw that Reimu's attack was the addition they needed to make a path inside the palace.

"I sense that there is something we may be missing," she said, turning her head to the others. She then jumped forward, bisecting a droid in two. Water danced around her blade and shot out, throwing more droids away in a wave. "These are just the foot troops. Something bigger is likely waiting."

Milla led the way inside the palace, coming into a grand hall where the fighting was more hectic due to the close quarters. Gunfire, lasers, and cries of war echoed around the group. The palace structure was holding strong, even as lasers peppered the room.

There were less Asgardians inside, but the droids were focused largely on one man in particular. Clad in fanciful armour and wielding a large hammer, the man shredded through the droids easily, throwing his hammer around the room and causing lightning to arc from droid to droid, destroying them. He paused for a moment and turned to Milla and the others, looking intrigued.

"..." Chise wasn't quite sure if the man before them said those words to patronize them or just genuinely didnt see much from them-and given the fact that she herself was a teenager that stood no taller than 5'1" it made some sense to her.

"Guess this might be more interesting than I thought."

Shirou spoke as nonchalantly as usual, though he let out a whistle as the giant Monokuma appeared from seeming out of nowhere, as the chains from his body returned to him to deflect the blasts fired at him. He could try to just dive past the horde to take out what seemed like their leader, but with most of the others already on that and his gun not seeking to be all too effective from this range anyway, he just continued to stick around the Observatory.

"You want cover? Aah, guess I'll have to do it. Everyone else got their excited asses out there already anyway."

Raising his gun, Shirou once again fired at the incoming Monokuma units. The bullets didn't look to hit any of the robots, but instead were shot above them. Once the bullets had reached the horde, they'd explode into a barrage of needles instead, creating a literal rain of needles to pierce and destroy the Monokumas.

All the while, the chains he produced would resume their previous task of acting as a trap, or makeshift moat to catch out the normal units.

"Don't worry your little glass head, doggo. Maeve will protect you. Just stay out of my way, okay?"

"Cosmo can protect himself," Cosmo replied as he shifted through debris to try and find something. "But appreciate sentiment."

"Something doesn't seem right here," Bayonetta stood hands on her hip in the middle of the supposedly abandoned smithy. "I would image these Asgardians would have enough weapons to get by. What could po-"

Bayonetta didn't have time to finish that sentence when they heard a roar and something hitting iron further in. "Now what do we have here? Sounds like someone's up ahead." Two pistols emerged in her hands as she quietly started making her way towards the noise. "Let's go say hello shall we?"

"Cosmo thought he was leader of group?"

"That's what they all think." Bayonetta winked towards Cosmo before going on. The smithy made way to another cave tunnel that opened up to a wide open chamber. At the end of it they could see a group of large creatures trying to smash down a large door.

The monsters were brandishing different clubs and spears as weapons and for the time being they seemed too busy at the task at hand to notice the group, but that could change quickly.

Maeve strolled up, tossing a magic dagger up and down in her hand. She looked unimpressed by the monsters trying to knock down the door.

"Hmph. They aren't exactly my type, but I bet they'd taste better with some salt..."

The thief then flung the dagger at high speeds at the group until the blade embedded itself into the door right by one of the monster's heads to get their attention.

As Heimdall said, it wouldn't take long for the forests to lead off into a passageway through a cliff, which seemed to have remained untouched until very recently. "The Asgardian citizens are safe within a stronghold," the guardian said as they continued on through. "They should be completely safe from enemy fire here."

latest

They finally arrived at a large door covered in intricate carvings. "This is it," Heimdall said, opening the door. "Allow me a moment to check on them. Stay out here and guard the door for now." And with that, he was gone, leaving the group to their own devices.

Bzzzzzzz...

"..."

Bzzzzzzzzz...

"...hmph."

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

The insects from the bridge remained even still, now buzzing in the faces of the group gathered outside. Jack grit his teeth, trying to maintain his patience for as long as he could, until he finally gave in.

Smack! Jack slapped his arm, catching one of the bugs on his arm, before hissing and shaking his hand. "What the...huh?" He looked down at his hand, clearly confused. As he rightfully should be, as where one would expect to see the gross innards of a bug, sat a few tiny nuts and bolts. In fact...a closer look at the remaining bugs revealed that they were not actually bugs at all, but rather...

"Tiny bears with...video cameras? What in tarnation are these things?"

The door to the stronghold swung open, and Heimdall rushed out, a look of dread on his face. "I knew something was amiss," he whispered. "We were being followed this entire time!"

"Upupu..." A sinister laugh echoed through the cliffside, louder and closer than anyone would be comfortable with. From the shadows stepped forward more of those same bears, some of them dressed in military uniforms.

Bears in riot gear manned the frontlines.

Bears with bomb-filled backpacks lined the sides.

Bears wearing jetpacks and flamethrowers flew in the skies.

But the majority of bears were in no special clothing, but made up for it in sheer numbers. These bears made up an entire army, outnumbering not only the entire group, but more than likely even the Asgardians.

Heimdall drew his sword. "They're here for a massacre," he said. "Ready to slaughter every man, woman, and child behind that door in a complete bloodbath!"

"Well, they ain't gonna get that pleasure." Jack readied a baseball bat, eyeing the creatures. "I said I was gonna protect the people here, and that's what I'm gonna do!"

"I was expecting that our enemy would send real men to fight us," Titus grumbled with a merely displeased look towards the approaching storm of murderous automatons. "It seems I have placed too much faith in their bravery."

They were strange in appearance, but nothing that sways the Space Marine from leveling the barrel of his wrist-mounted storm bolter towards the horde, using his other hand to retrieve a familiar helmet from his belt and secure it on his head. Titus' face soon vanished behind the cold scowl of the Astartes helmet.

The helmet sat still for a moment before powering on; it's 'eyes' flaring with a harsh red light.

TyUfHz1.png

"NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THESE ABOMINABLE MACHINES WILL WALK PAST THIS GATE," Titus' voice came garbled from the helmet's vocal modulator, even more, profound and more iron-filled than before.

"THE EMPEROR PROTECTS."

A storm of sound and fury soon filled the hall.

The gun fastened to Titus' wrist came roaring to life as it began to belch out a wave of fiery munitions above the main force of mechanical bears, aiming instead for the flying, masked units instead.

The large rounds slammed into each 'destroyer' that hovered above the frontlines, a cacophony of explosives splitting the air as the rounds detonated upon impact with their metal exteriors, blowing the machines apart mid-air and casting chunks of shredded metal and flaming oil upon the shield-wielding bears that were waddling beneath them.

The hulking mass of cerulean armor himself began moving, storming towards the shield-wielders as their orderly formation was thrown into array by the raining remains of their flying brethren. Titus reached his free hand back, feeling for the handle of some large weapon being stored near his power pack.

He'd tear the weapon free of its confines with startling speed, masking the weapon's appearance in a blur of motion before it came crashing down upon a trio of the plain-looking bears, which began charging towards the Space Marine as he'd caught their attention.

be8512b530d2300566eaa0440ffeab4e.png

The weapon in question was a massive hammer encased in a field of crackling blue energy. The hammer's head was decorated extensively with golden runes and the telltale mark of the Imperial Aquila, signifying it as a weapon ordained by the Emperor. The hammer slammed into the ground with a thundering quake, outright disintegrating the bears that had gotten close to Titus in a wave of electricity.

The shield-bearers, meanwhile, suffered for their heavy bodies as the ground shuddered beneath their small feet, causing the frontline shield wall to topple into a pile of disgruntled bears and discarded shields. The machines were countless as a few of them would have come scrambling over the toppled bodies of their brethren, hungry for something to sink their claws into.

Titus realized that he was a distraction. As long as the majority of the horde was focused on trying to pierce his adamantium shell, no bears would hope to reach the civilians, provided his allies were focused on catching any stragglers.

The marine stood like a mountain amidst the wave of metal, lifting his Thunder Hammer from the ground and clutching it tightly in both hands.

N75LjuA.png

"NOTHING SHALL STAY MY WRATH."

The marine vanished into the belly of the horde. Those people watching could only see glimpses of a blue figure wildly swinging a massive object about like an angry god, and tidal waves of shredded metal flying into the air with every ground-shaking quake.

As Reiner retaliated against the giant-sized Monokuma in his way, he would find that even with his enhanced strength from his crystallized punch, his enemy proved to be surprisingly hardy, as lampshaded by Ollerus over the comm link, tanking the Armored Titan's punch with minimal stagger. If nothing else though, his efforts managed to bear (no pun intended) some fruit as cracks formed on the robot's surface from the punch. Just a little more, and one could hope to perhaps break through reach its core.

With the smaller Monokumas hoping to swarm Reiner and divide its attention, the giant Monokuma took the initiative and grabbed a tight hold of Reiner, picking it up with a staggering amount of strength before tossing him off the Bifrost Bridge entirely, causing him to fall (not too painfully, fortunately) into the shallow stream of water below, as though hoping to literally throw Reiner out of the fight. Luckily for him though, he might be able to jump back onto the Bridge if he willed it so.

The giant Monokuma was ready to follow up its assault on the Armored Titan by doing a body slam akin to a wrestler in a ring, but Clark had forced it to divert its attention to him, prompting it to resist swiftly, grabbing him out of the air, before attempting to crush him in between its two hands with its raw strength!

...

Meanwhile, as Shirou's maneuver managed to weed out a decent number of the many hordes of the Monokuma units, it seemed that the rest of the horde acclimated well to his attack, drawing grenades to throw at those at the Observatory, as though to deliberately interrupt Shirou's attack as well as Lapis's process.

View attachment 3841

"Upupupupupupu!"

The grenades rolled to the group's feet, prompting Riesbyfe's eyes to widen. "Brace yourselves!" She called out, before planting her shield to the ground, letting it protect her from the brunt of one grenade's force as it exploded right in front of her with a resounding BOOM, even as it knocked her back into the far wall of the Observatory.

Skurge, with a mighty roar meanwhile, kicked a grenade that rolled close to him back at the horde to let it blow them up. As the grenade exploded in the midst of the horde, it had actually managed to propel a small number of the Monokumas forward, sending them flying right at the foot of the Observatory. Enhanced by Fuse, they managed to survive the explosion and scrambled back to their feet, attempting to swarm Shirou, Lapis, and Skurge, to which the Asgardian let out an incredulous scream.

"Oouuuughh no, that was a mistake!!" He yelled to himself, forced to fend off the robotic bears that attempted to bite and claw at him to death, while others were intent to do the same to the others.

...

HK-47, seemingly unperturbed by the bizarre assault afflicting his legs, seemed to try and work through his setback, as though quickly readjusting his plan without a moment's pause. Like a robot indeed. Except for when he actually start to speak.

"Resolution: It appears you are more trouble than you're worth. I'd almost feel bad if I haven't already turned other, more elegant pieces of metal than you into scrap!"

With that, he extended his arm, the robotic wrist opening up to reveal a number of contraptions within. The assassin droid fired a cluster of rockets from his arm from there, which had evidently locked on to the vehicle and followed its every move for every evasive action it might try!

❝ Oh great, so that just means I have to put more effort into my magic after all! ❞ The Witch verbally expressed her dismay with that development involving their robotic foes being enhanced by Fuse. For a moment, she glanced at her prosthetic left arm, but shook her head. She didn't need to use that right now. She only needed to ramp up her magic. It seemed impossible to have an endless amount of Monokuma robots, so it was only a matter of seeing how long all of those would last. Even letting one get too close to the Observatory meant more trouble for them in the long run.

❝ ... cover me! I need a few minutes to charge up mana. I'm planning to take care of the small fry in one fell swoop, so we can focus on the bigger problems sooner than later! ❞ Lapis clenched one of her magically-charged crystals in her hand before applying it to her prosthetic left hand. By doing so, a faint glyph appeared in front of her as she held her left hand out, applying her own mana to charge up some form of powerful magic attack. Just like she said, she needed a few minutes before this would be ready, so she couldn't afford to break focus by defending herself at the same time.

While Reiner's suspicions suspicions about letting those smaller creatures swarm his titan were well founded, his attempts to shake them off as he swung at the hulking bear resulted in him being grabbed by that bear despite its efforts.

That metal beast was strong... Stronger than even his titan perhaps, but he refused to give up. Even as he fell down to the water below, letting out a roar of frustration as he crashed into the ground, causing tremors as he did so.

tGzfgrY.png

"Damn it! That 'fuse' makes it strong... Stronger than my titan! What chance do I... No... Does anyone stand against it?!" He thought to himself furiously.

And then he heard it. Heard them...

The shout from Lapis as she told the others to buy her some time... The collective shouts from the others as they fended off the smaller bears, even despite those explosions going off.

If that massive bear reached them, this battle would be over.

It was then that he remembered something; that hardened punch of his actually managed to damage that beast. Perhaps if more force was applied, and he had a better running start... And perhaps got a little creative with it too.

Soon enough, he recalled something else too; the fight that almost felt like it took place years ago.

And before that, those tussles he had with Annie.

JZRKtv1.png

A smile spread across his face as he realized he had a way of beating that bear. As strong and as hardy as it was. Though it would involve taking a gamble, and praying that he had it in him to put a new fighting technique into practice on short notice, assuming his first step of his plan worked.

"I'll do it... I have to... It's my only chance!"

With that last thought, he moved a little closer to where he thought the group taking care of the smaller bears were, carefully climbing up onto the bridge, leaping into the air a little if he had to.

Without drawing close enough to risk crushing any of his allies, he instead poised himself on the bridge, facing the giant bear... And at the same time, swept his feet through some of the smaller bears, hoping to knock a few off the bridge as he lined himself up, some of the armored plating on his back legs peeling off in preparation.

rjj5oDr.gif

And then, in a motion he had practised and put into use many times, he charged straight at the giant bear, even as it was squeezing Clark. A distinct, blue tinge coming from the armored plate around his shoulder as it hardened further, making it considerably more durable than normal as he focused his hardening around that spot. It seemed he intended to to ram it with his hardened shoulder, putting as much force and momentum behind it as he possibly could.

It was this same strength and mass that allowed him to breach the walls, with an additional trick up his sleeve to boot... But it was hard to say if the giant bear would even flinch when he made contact.

Whatever happened next though, he prepared to try to grapple the bear, and harden the armored plating on his head in hopes of following up his previous motion with a move intended to restrain the bear... And headbutt his opponent repeatedly with all of his might.

Exploiting the cracks he had made in its body before, and hoping he would be able to restrain the bear, he aimed to finish this fight as quickly as possible, so he could (hopefully) provide support to the others currently battling the smaller ones.

The shinobi's tired eyes only glanced at Thor for a second, finding the destruction and chaos going on around them to be much more important than socializing. As a result, he didn't give his name either, deeming it unnecessary. Instead, he focused on minimizing his presence, which would end up paying off as Hela burst out into the open and made herself a big target. He crouched low, slowed his breathing, and quieted his steps to the best of his ability. It was difficult to be stealthy in an environment such as this, but there was no reason not to attempt.

zXcUO5l.png

Like a machine programmed to kill, he approached relatively quickly and moved to plunge Kusabimaru into her neck.

@Crow @York @Gummi Bunnies @Kaykay @Josh

The Ouroborocycle stood where it was, using the strange sphere above it in an attempt to drain the rockets into it to neutralise them. Any remaining rockets would indeed turn it into pieces, but the strangest parts - its remains would be that of a regular, earthly green scooter, with no scraps of pink or serpent in the pile. There was no sign of 'formiddable technology' or 'sentience' - just an Earth scooter.

60px-Heal_Skill_Icon.png

A strange power not from it would begin to Reinforce the others, namely Reiner, Clark, Riesbyfe, Shirou and Lapis, healing some damage dealt to them in addition to allowing them to heal over a period of time.

"Ahahahaha..."

Cagliostro's 'corpse' stood up as the wounds swiftly regenerated. She swiftly ripped her pink Tokusatsu-inspired outfit away, revealing the one she wore all this time underneath. She staggered towards HK-47.

dqVFrOw.png

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Reaching a hand out, a strange crystalline substance hovered above it, before bits and pieces of Cagliostro's flesh dispatched from her as if they were broken ceramics, before being nigh-immediately replaced. These broken-off pieces surrounded the crystalline substance, mixing - no - chemically reacting with them before creating what appeared to be a flame that constantly changed colours, between the seven colours of the rainbow and the extremes of black and white.

"Interesting... not even I foresaw this... but now that I possess the factor that gave you and your men an advantage... the victor is much clearer!"

A snap of a finger caused any Monokumas in the immediate radius of HK-47 to combust into scraps and pieces, creating a cleared battlezone for Cagliostro to face HK-47 in combat.

"I'm not saying that I will underestimate you, though."

Cagliostro swiftly reaches her hand forward, causing the 'flame' to spew towards HK-47, generating a hard, spiked, crystal surface on any solid or liquid it came into contact with nigh-instantly! This crystal had similiar properties to the melanite used by HK-47 himself, except these crystals would layer, grow and strengthen over time, as if they were alive, even piercing and crushing that which it encased.

"This one's for the Scooter. I borrowed it, you know? And I don't like to return broken goods, doesn't really fit the honest, trustworthy image of an alchemist that I've been teaching my protege. You're not going to pay me back with rupees, you're going to pay me back with your life."

[GRUC-RUNCH]

Broly's teeth ripped through the tough skim of the beetle's leg, tearing through its shell and sending a wave of sweet blood-nectar splitting across the cave. Crazed and daze, he greedily dug into the soft tissue below, his cheeks, vest and amulet stained with its yellow dye.

"Easy, easy Big Guy!" Cheelai laughed from behind her hands, shielding herself from the yellow spray. "You don't have go to town like that anymore! We've got real food now- monster legs are off the menu!"

After a moment of thought and a dazed stair, Broly straightened his back and swallowed hard. A confused look danced in his eyes.

"Real... Food?"

"Yeah ya dummy real food. Capsule Food. Straight from Earth."

"I don't want..." He froze, remembering his manners. "Thank you for the offer."

"Suit yourself. I ain't gonna force to you to eat this stuff, but let me tell you now, it tastes wayyy better than--"

[CA-CRAKK CRA-CRAKK CRA-CRAKK CRA-CRAKK]

A small pebble danced across the mouth of the cave, tumbling down the winding path that lead to the Saiyan's shelter.

"Someone... Someone's here" Broly growled, slowly and clumsily clambering to his feet. He threw himself towards the Wall of the cave and out of sight, dropping his food as he struck the wall.

"Don't get your panties in such a wad. It's probably just the wind. Or and animal has come searching for some light. It's not a big deal."

"No!" He snarled. "There are no animals left. Father hunted them all. Someone is here!"

"Deep breaths, pal, deep breaths. If you're so sure someone's here, let's go check it out."

[CA-CRAKK]

Another peddle tumbled town the cave.

"It's probably just that weird hooded guy again. The one in the stupid costume--"

"No!" The Saiyan snapped, his voice shaking the cavern. Smaller stone seemed to break away from the stalactites above them and a cloud of dust fell across the cave. "He smells different!"

Cheelai coughed, parting the cloud with a swishing hand.

"He smells... Different?"

"The Hooded man... he helped me. His energy was calm... familiar. His is not..."

"Geez, what's gotten you so worked up--"

"We should move. Leave before he gets here..."

[Cra-cra-cruk]

Another handful of rocks rolled down the clearing.

"Hello?"

A voice called, raspy and tired.

"Aw-right. Ateast we know it ain't that weird Hooded Guy. This guy sounds wayyy different..."

Broly grunted and snarled. He pressed himself harder into the wall of the cave.

"We should go. He's going to hurt us. I don't want to hurt him..."

"We don't anything about him, Broly! Maybe we go see who it is and..."

"No!!!"

"Broly! Calm down!"

He snarled again, sending streams of spit across the cave.

"He's here to hurt us! Hurt me! Can't let him hurt you!"

"I will do no such thing" The voice called again, its figure forming in the blackness. "I sense no evil here..."

"Hey... I know you..."

"Do you now?"

"Yeah, yeah I do. You're the one he talked about."

"Who?"

"Leave here. Now. Get out!"

"Manners, Broly!"

Broly's back straightened again as he peeled himself away from the wall. On command, he spoke as if he had been rehearsed his greeting for sometime, doing his best to cover how uncomfortable he felt.

"I... I'm sorry. Its nice to meet you"

"Of... course... And... the same to you... but... you"

A long white finger darted towards Cheelai.

"You mentioned... a Hooded Man, before? A man who told you of me?"

"The Hooded Man..." Broly interjected. "He came here once... He gave me this... Taught me lessons... Then he vanished..."

Broly raised his amulet, its sapphire core glimmering in the light of his campfire.

"This... Where did you get this!?"

"Got cloth in your ears? He told you. The Hooded Guy gave it to him. Relax!"

"It wasn't his to give" The man growled, stepping into the light and reaching out towards the Saiyan's chest. "Let me look at it. I have to be sure--"

The Saiyan simply snarled, bared his teeth, and slapped his arm away, almost pushing the old man off his feet.

"It's mine! You can't have it!!"

The man stumbled back, stepping further into the blackness of the cave. He cradled his hand.

"Hmph... Strong one, isn't he?"

"You don't know the half of it..."

"Hmm..." The stranger sung to himself. "If that's the case...maybe this isn't a wasted journey after all..."

"What do you want, anyway? You haven't even told us your name..."

"Me?" The Stranger smiled beneath his mustache, throwing his cloak from his shoulders. "My name is... Toppo, the Warrior of Freedom. I hail from Universe 11."

"Wow" Her words dripped with sarcasm. "Real big shot huh?"

"I'm also friend of Son Goku... He was the one who told me where to find you both... Mr.Legendary Super Saiyan"

Broly thinned his eyes again and widened his stance. He opened his mouth to say something, only to be cut off by Cheelai, her eyes glowing...

"Why didn't you say so!! Ditch this creepy-alien act and just spill the beans!"

"He told me you might be able to help us with a... Problem we're facing. In another universe..."

"Oh nope. No no no" Cheelai stepped back, waving her arms from side to side. "Broly's not about to become a soldier again. So siree"

"I don't want to... Hurt people... It was... nice having you here... please don't come again..."

"Besides. If the problem's coming from your universe then it's your responsibility. You can handle it on your own, right Mr.Freedom?"

"The problem isn't from Universe 11. It doesn't just threaten Universe 11. I've seen it. This is a crisis across the infinite earths. I've seen what we're dealing with. It's bigger than all of us..."

"You're quite the Hype-man, Top"

"I'm not exaggerating. Son has already volunteered. So has Vegeta. And Dyspo and Cocette and so many others. And--- we're still loosing..."

View attachment 3850

"Damn... Son and Vegeta? Don't know a thing about the others, but man..."

"The Great Spirits... the pillars that hold up the Multiverse... they're being hunted" Toppo spoke with a desperate tone. "We don't have the man power to stay ahead... My team is scattered across the universe... We need more hands... more men... more spirits"

"You'll make me hurt people..." Broly muttered, his teeth clenched.

"No. You wont have to do anything you don't want to do. There are plenty of ways you can help us. Ki sensing is invaluable in search and rescue missions, you're speed could help us in
evacuation ops... but that said... someone of your power..."

"And there's the scam"

"I'm not forcing him. I'm just saying that--"

"You're guilt tripping him. You're trying to take control of him. You know how sick he's gotten of people like that?"

"Then stop speaking for him--"

"Don't spin this on me! I'm helping him!"

"And I'm trying to help the Multiverse! Every second we waste--"

"A planet explodes, right? Is that what you're gonna tell me?"

"If it were only that simple!"

"It is that simple! He doesn't want to fight, you can't make him fight, so get off our planet and use you freakishly large hands to actually make a difference in your figh--"
View attachment 3847
"I want to fight..."

"I'm sorry WHAT!"

"Thank you, Broly... The New Warriors thanks you... the Multiverse thanks you..."

"Why? Why now?" Cheelai interjected, her eyes fogged with anger. "We both know you don't want this!"

"I know... but I need to do it..."

"No you don'!"

"I'm strong... they need me... Kakarot needs me... It's what we've been training for..."

"Don't let him twist it, buddy..."

"If things are as bad as Mr.Freedom says... then more and more people are going to end up like me. The bad guys... they're gonna destroy more lives... more planets... more fathers..."

"We need you, Broly" A large gloved hand found its way onto Broly's shoulder. Two tired, dagger-eyes stared into his. "You can help save these people"

"I don't have a choice"

"I..." Toppo froze. He'd been in a situation like this before. He could only swallow and sigh. No-one had a choice anymore. "Maybe not... but we're fighting for the right to choose... for the right to have a future... I'll...give you some time to say good bye... and I'll tell you the rest of the story on the way"

"Thank you, Mr.Freedom"

Cheelai simply stared at her friend, biting her tongue. It had all become so real so quickly. He was leaving, and there was nothing she could do. No chance to keep him safe. No chance to go with him.

"Stay... stay safe, Broly..."

She sigh, taking his hand in hers for a heart beat.

"Don't go getting yourself killed, now... Not without me, anyway..."

"I'll be back... I'll be back soon..."

"Stay alive, buddy... and stay good..."

"I'll try..."

[VSSIRRSH]

A rainbow of lightning struck the floor of the cave mere inches behind Top, sending Cheelai stumbling backwards and away from the flinching Broly. Toppo failed to flinch, slowly turning his head towards the figure that had just materializes in the gave behind them.

"I don't mean to rush you, Nobel Sirs, but time is of the essence..."

"Of course, Marcarita"

"Revan's forces have gone on the offenses. The OMDA has asked that you assemble the New Warriors and head towards the Spirits and--- Oh!" She stopped herself, bowing her head slightly at the sight of Broly and Cheelai. "You must be our new Recruits..."

"Yes... I am... Broly..."
The Saiyan hummed, raising a hand. "I'm a... friend of Kakarot..."

"Charming, the pleasure is mine, Nobel Sir. But I must ask..." He eyes danced across Broly's chest. "That Pendent... where on Earth did you get such a thing?"

"It's mine!"

"I'm not disputing that, Sir. I would never take something of yours..." Her polite tone was... comforting to the Saiyan. His body seemed to grow less tense by the moment. "I simply wish to know how you got it, that's all..."

"That's non of your business!"

"With all due respect, it really is, Madam. That Pendent did not originate from this world, or any world I've been to..."

"What?"

"It gives of an energy signature associated with.. someone else..."

"Someone I fought alongside not long ago... though it feels like a lifetime since we met..." Toppo sighed "Her name was Schala..."

"That word... I've heard it before... I over heard the Hooded Guy mentioned it once... he only stuck around for a day or two, so I never had the chance to ask him what it meant..."

"Oh, now that is interesting..." The Angel smiled. "It appears as if that lovely funeral I planned was a waste of time after all..."

"That's impossible... only a handful of people even know where we buried the Pendant. Only you, Ben, Schala, the Pride Warriors, and I were at the funeral... and not one of us would have told a soul... "

"Which would imply that we were being watched from a distance... how curious..."

"I... don't understand..."

"Oh, Nobel sir, there's no need to get caught up in this. It a little... mystery Toppo and I have found ourselves invested in. Nothing worth worrying about. You can keep the Pendant, Broly. It is yours, after all."

"Thank... you..." The Saiyan mumbled, clutching the necklace tightly. "I don't know what it is... but I don't want to lose it..."

"Of course, we trust you, Broly" Toppo gave the Saiyan another pat of the back. "But Marcarita was right. Time is off the essence. If you could just place your hand on her staff, we'll get going"

"Of... course" Broly sheepishly wrapped his fingers around the cool scepter, letting the Angel's God Ki flow through him. He shivered. It was a strange, new feeling. It flooded his body with a strange warmth. He closed his eyes, almost drifting off to sleep.

"That's right, Nobel Sir," Marcarita smiled and bowed her head again. Soon, Toppo followed suit, wrapping his hand around the staff in turn. "It's best if you close your eyes. Your first Warp can be a little daunting..."

Tapping the scepter onto the ground sent light spiraling up the staff and around the traveler, its light changing color by the second. Broly shivered, keeping his head as low as he could.

"Wait! Broly!"

With a flash of light and the roar of a strong wind, the light consumed the cave, before dancing upwards. The tower stretched onward and upwards in a heartbeat, carrying the party of 3 of into the stars.

"Who do you think was watching us then, Marcarita?"

"I think you know him all too well, Top. I think we both do..."
Sometime Later: The Asguardian Strong Hold, Now
"I can't let you hurt them..." The Saiyan growled, staring down the seemingly endless horde gathering before him. He felting his fighting spirit soar, his energy rising. Tensing every muscle he knew he had, waves of white Ki soon engulfed his armor, sending his pendant dancing and clattering across his chest. The foes before him were simply machines, bred and built for hard. He didn't have to hold back, or worry about fear or regret. All he had to do was hold the line. Keep the living safe. All he had to do was fight. As the ground trembled under the force of Titus' strikes, flickers of yellow light danced across Broly's eyes, his Wrathful State returning moment by moment. "I can't let you come any closer!!"

Green light erupted from the flickers of white as Broly's combat power soared. With a mighty roar, he unleashed a stream of Gigantic Breath from his jaws, sending a wave of burning green light hurtling towards the sidelines and screaming towards the bomber bears.

Reimu raised an eyebrow, as more and more strange names came to her. Thor, Odin? Were they normal names, or what? Reimu didn't bother to reach for a distant memory where she read up those names somewhere, instead, rolling her eyes, and calmed down. Not that she would really care, even if this guy turned out to be a god of war or something. Taking a low, deep breath upon hearing a sudden implosion, Reimu hovered behind a wall swiftly.

Now this...woman. Now this was the kind of personality Reimu was familiar to. Conscending, malicious and powerful, Reimu knew this as the over-bearing demeanor of a powerful person. As that Thor man stepped out to face this 'sister', Reimu prepared her spell cards. If a man with such a sort of....divine feel could meet as equals with this woman, then this 'Hela' was something. Was she the goddess of Hell or something like death? If that's so...

Reimu floated out, a serious yet carefree expression on her as she looked at Hela. No matter if she was a mere woman in strange clothing or a goddess, she was an enemy. End of story.

"Indeed, you were smart to not ask us to kneel to such a woman like you. Now..."

Reimu quickly held a spell card up, and shouted out the name of it, in a rushed panic. A Duplex Barrier formed in two circles, one circling around the shrine maiden in a dizzying trance, and the other circling around a larger field. Reimu spun around in a sort of vicious dance of rapid amulets and needles. Although some passed through Reimu's circle, most of them disappeared through the small circle, and re-appeared on the inside of the larger circle, still with the same velocity and speed.

Scrapper managed to blend into the shadows with out the monsters seeing them, or as Scrapper knew them from days of yore, Rock Trolls. Two of them were halted by Bayonetta while the other four managed to slip past her towards the other three.

As that was going on though Scrapper made it to the door to look it over. Up close she could see it was an ornate door with runs inscribed around it much like the other two archways. These runs spelled out protection and there seemed to be some kind of mural in the middle of armored women flying high on winged horses.

Despite the impressive craftsmanship that had been put into this door she didn't seem to find anything to grab to pull it open.
