Schala seemed torn between where to go, seeming at least somewhat relaxed by Ben's words. While she wanted to free Will, she figured gathering some information first would be for the best, but then at the mention of Prisoners, she immediately seemed to snap to a decision, barely disguising her smile at Ben's offer.

"That's okay. I just need to find out more about the Prisoners." She said quietly, then she paused at his mention of the nets.

It was an idea that she could see working; if they could figure out how to use those nets against the enemy, it would certainly make it alot easier to escape this building.

Freezing for a moment as they recieved that transmission, Schala was relieved to hear the others seemed to be on the same page as she was.

"O-Of course! And... We should see about using their nets against them, as Ben said. But I want to free the prisoners first!"

Schala was fortunately used to being soft spoken and quiet, and as such, helped a little by her covering her mouth with her hand a little, she would hopefully be able to avoid being heard as she spoke through the comms as quietly as she could. The mention of Will again seemed to cause Schala to clam up a little, but she maintained her composure, keeping her attention on her surroundings.

Assuming no-one said otherwise though, she seemed to be preparing to move on again, but hesitated for a moment, remembering Ben mentioning splitting up.

"We should stick together if we can, but if you have a plan for those nets, I'll have to put my trust in you." She said, then paused a little at Severa's words.

"Yes. I'm afraid one of our own got herself caught... But... I-... We're working on that..." She added softly.​

"Oh. My. GAWDS!" Christmas had come very early this year. Grinning, Severa turned to the group. "Guys, guess what? Will went and got herself captured by the Revanchist!"

"Don't buy the party cake just yet, because we're gonna need to save her, and I'm gonna need to have a looooong talk with her once everything boils over. So long, that not even all the trees in all our collective homeworlds combined are enough to produce the papers to print even the summary."

Nanomech converses with Schala.

"So, Schala, you're going with the net guns, huh? Well... on my side I can either hide under the poker table to hear about the prisoners or sneak in the clothes those leader-talking guys in the corner. Which do you think takes priority? Maybe while I tackle one, one of the guys outside can waltz in and tackle the other?"

I guess it was bound to happen eventually in some way," Touma could only utter, unable to resist the gossip -- or at least, that's what it felt like -- going on in the comm links, rubbing the back of his head and speaking as though he weren't necessarily surprised, but of course, not exactly pleased ultimately, being that they were supposed to be teammates here.

Indeed, all things considered, perhaps something like this was bound to happen sooner or later. She always did like to bite off more than she could chew. Not that he ought to talk, perhaps, but things managed to work out for him, at least, more often than not.

There was nothing that seemed sharp enough to cut this net. It was made out of some sort of coiled metal with mesh stretching out over the gaps in the frame. While looking unassuming, and having no exterior effects, inside it was clear that it had been enchanted in some way, preventing the inhabitant from using any sort of magic or supernatural ability.

The thing that Will had seen with her did not seem to be moving towards her, or even know she was there. It merely moved up and down slowly, as if it's chest was rising and falling in sleep.

The falcon continued on overhead, not having heard or seen Frank and the others for the time being. But it could be seen ducking lower, falling out of sight behind the walls of the building. It would be guaranteed to see the group on its next pass.

With so many people around, it was all but impossible for Schala to hear anything like a full conversation. Though there were a few groups close by that she could hear distinct words from:

-A group of Huns preparing more nets, where one mentioned, "The Order."

- Two Revanchist soldiers off to the side, talking in lowered voices about "the leader."

-A large group playing cards, conversing about "the prisoners."

Perhaps Schala could find her way towards one such group and listen in?

Incidentally, everyone in this area would be able to hear Deadpool's message over the commlink with no problems whatsoever. They could answer him as well, if they'd like...as long as they didn't make too much noise.​

The gun vanished from his arm as the falcon flew over the wall and out of sight. "Yeah you're all having a good time, obviously." Frank replied over the comms. "But we have a dirty bird flying over us so we probably need to get a move on." With that Frank got out of the hiding space and tried to see if he could find anything interesting.

Hopefully the others followed after.

"I'm above that," Othinus briskly responded to Ben without missing a beat.

"She's totally still mad," Touma piped in with an almost smug mien.

"I'd have a good reason if I were. Which I'm not," she insisted, "Besides, it isn't as though she is worth enough to warrant such an reaction from me."

"Ah, how harsh," the voice of Fiamma of the Right chimed in. As his voice had appeared without the sound of another channel opening, one could imagine that he was nearby Othinus. Namely, the little fairy was sitting on his shoulder. "Either way, let's not get carried away now, shall we? Honestly, picking on a girl when she can hardly respond," he said. It almost would have sounded like he was chastising the group if he didn't sound too condescending about it.

"Hmph. No matter. I am not here to make friends. Certainly not when others are opposed to me even being here, like that Morrigan," the former Magic God added, leaving her piece at that for that moment.

Will listened to all of her allies' words, and all they did was serve to drive the hot knife in further. She didn't blame then for being cross with her, but surely they thought more of her than the hotheaded braggart she had been objectified as. Will deactivated her comms and let the rest of her former team voice their opinions.

"Listen to them, Will. That is what they think of you. Is it true? Have you fallen so far down your well of self pity you can't even notice when you're in the enemy's clutches?"

"...."

"Cornelia, we all know it's not that simple. They all come from different worlds with different circumstances. They don't know Will like we do."

"Well I know her. Or at least, I used to."

"We may have gone our seperate ways. But right now I think we all want to help Will. She doesn't usually act like this. Something's up."

"Just give it up, Hay Lin! We aren't a team or friends for that matter. I am not your leader anymore. The Coalition doesn't need me. They'll find a way to save the great spirit."

Will shook the others protesting voices and edged slowly closer to the moving being. She couldn't see well beyond the mesh of the net, but it appeared the other person was alive. Could they help her get out of this net? Will cleared her throat and used her best leader voice.

"Hello? Who's there? Are you alive?"

Kitty didn't pitch in, in case she ended up making too much noise or something, but eventually, she did decide to take out her own comm and listen into the situation on the other side. Far better than sending telepathic messages or something exhausting an improbable like that. She sighed as she hard the conversation switch to there being two prisoners, and eventually, the girl who haphazardly cut down plants of unknown quality. Kitty would join in criticising/trash talking Will, considering that girl was listening anyways...but Kitty didn't want to show too much emotion.

"Where are you right now? What are your statuses? I'm not sure we can physically help, but we could put some advice...uh. On top of the moral support, that is."

Kitty noticed a new voice come in, one that didn't fit anyone's voices here nor there, and yet, has history with the group. She directed the comm way from her, but close enough that it was still audible over the comm, even if she was louder in person.

"May sound weird, and like I've been living under a rock, but.....who's the new girl voice? Does she have history with the Coalition or something?"

She was referring to Othinus.

As ahe got closer, Will would find there was another person within a net just like hers. It was hard to see from within the net, but Will could at least make out the body of a young girl. She was unresponsive to the questions, and really unresponsive to anything. Though getting closer, it was clear her breathing was short and rather haggard, almost as if she was in pain.

Though Severa did start to feel a little bad for digging in so much...but only a little, and only because she got called out on it. Besides, considering how easy it was for Jiren and Phil to hop on to the dark side? She didn't wanna be the one to push Will over the edge when...or if it happened.

"Though Ben, do you know where she's being kept? They, like, have the prisoners somewhere, right?"

"I think it's time we go slumming," Frank whispered over to the rest of the group as he started to make his way towards the Revanchist forces, mainly being very interested in ones not wearing his specific uniform. They seemed like a way better time then the other squares. Walking among them he wasn't going to say anything unless spoken to. He was just there for the hot gossip.

Will cursed herself silently for getting into this mess. She couldn't use Aether to heal this poor girl no matter how hard she tried. Truly, it was a maddening experience.

"I don't understand! Why isn't The Heart of Kandrakar working!?"

Once again, her old allies spoke up.


"You forgot? It relies on harmony and unity between souls to be used at full power. Once you started acting like an idiot, it's power lessened. And now here you are."


"Come on, Will. Himerish only said it a thousand times. As much as I hated his long winded speeches, I remember that much. "


"Relax, Will. Calm down and concentrate. I know you're feeling a million emotions at once, but anger or pride won't help you here. Your allies still need you. "


"My grandmother said the same thing, remember? We know you can do it, Will. You just have to try."


Will sighed softly, falling back and leaning against a broken piece of debris.


"You guys just don't understand, okay? I didn't just start acting like this out of the blue. A few days ago, an evil tyrant named Othinus decided to use The Multiverse as her cosmic playground. I couldn't let that happen..."


And so, Will told her allies of the epic battles with Othinus and her allies, including Jiren's turn, Dio's involvement, and the finale where she wanted to kill Othinus but was stopped by the others.

Figuring it was about time to get a move on, Ren moved forward with one of the costumes they'd gotten off of the guards they'd captured. He wasn't confident he could just talk his way through it like Frank had, so he decided to go with the disguise for now. Then all that had to be done was pretend he belonged there.

Walking through the crowd, he kept his eyes and ears peeled for anything the group might have been discussing while trying to move towards the building.

"We should split up. I'll listen for information about where the Prisoners are kept. You can listen to their talks about the leader. We'll go over what we have after that." She said quietly.

With the plan set in stone in her mind, she prepared to take up a position near the poker table, aiming to keep as low of a profile as possible, assuming there were no objections anyways.

She intended to avoid playing with the Revanchist soldiers if she could help it, but if she had to, she was prepared to do so. Even if it was just for some information.​

As ahe got closer, Will would find there was another person within a net just like hers. It was hard to see from within the net, but Will could at least make out the body of a young girl. She was unresponsive to the questions, and really unresponsive to anything. Though getting closer, it was clear her breathing was short and rather haggard, almost as if she was in pain.

From where he was, Frank could see a small snippet of the Revanchist forces. Though some wore uniforms like the two guards they'd captured, the majority were large men in pelts, all with the same red emblem sewn on their chest.

Severa rolled her eyes. "I mean, they didn't pick up her commlink, did they? So it's not like she couldn't respond if she heard us." Though Severa did start to feel a little bad for digging in so much...but only a little, and only because she got called out on it. Besides, considering how easy it was for Jiren and Phil to hop on to the dark side? She didn't wanna be the one to push Will over the edge when...or if it happened.

"Though Ben, do you know where she's being kept? They, like, have the prisoners somewhere, right?"

"I don't know, but we're about to find out," Nanomech says, then refers to Schala, "well, looks like I won't be helping you cheat at card games... not that they have any prizes for winning. Also for anyone on the outside entering, we could use like one or two people hanging around the net bazookas."

Nanomech flew out of Schala's hair and lowered himself to thigh levels before flying around, pausing to land on Revanchist soldier boots before flying out again. Over time, he would get closer to the two dudes in the corner. He would land on the back of one of their uniforms, keeping a close ear on their conversation about the leader.
