Heirs of Magic Characters

In the beginning there was only Ashafal the sacred grove of the gods. In the grove were the eight pillars of creation for the higher gods; Antares the King of Light, Sauda Queen of Darkness, Cerulea Princess of Air, Terbis Prince of Earth, Aquis Lady of the Waters, Novis Lord of Fire, Lutum Lord of Stone, and Cyrossa, Lady of Snow and Ice. The contained the magic of the world and was the cornerstone for all of creation. When the gods made their first children they chose a select few who would know the secrets of magic and charged them with returning to the grove once a year with eight sacrifices each representing one of the eight elements. As long as they did this the world would keep. For the gods were passing out of Ashafal to watch the world from beyond.

The first children named the new world Iagreth. Generation upon generation passed and people of Iagreth have kept their promise to sacrifice eight of their children every year so that the next generation will prosper. Now in the 3rd millennium the world is starting to move on. People are coming out with new technology like prosthetics, guns, airships, etc. Magic users still exist but their numbers have dwindled since it's so hard to conceive magic children and it tends to skip generations anyway. There is a growing faction of people who don't believe the gods ever truly exited and that the sacrifice is something people made up as a scare tactic.

Our story opens the city of Azuris. Azruris the seat of the Mah family. The Mah family are a fae family who have served as the Empresses or Emperors of Iagreth since the days of the first children. They created their central city as a place that would be open to all. Magic and non-magic alike existing together in piece. The empress for the last 300 years has been Empress Wen Mah. But she has suddenly died under circumstances no one is really willing to talk about. The throne passes into the hand of her thirteen year old daughter Jian. Everyone is shocked when Jian is siezed under the care of six of the Conclave(councillers) under charges of instability. The younger daughter is also quietly removed. The land is placed under the ruler of the Conclaw headed by Lord Cassius Warridge. Magic is shortly declared illegal and the sacrifice outlawed.

But they don't understand. The old gods must have their due or everyone perishes. What will be the fate of the world?

Children of Antares(The Father, King of Creation and Knowledge)

Species Name:
Sun Elves
Life Span: Age the same as humans until 25. Can live up to 700 years.
General Appearance: Most sun elves have light peach skin to golden skin. They have hair that is white or blonde.
Geographical Location: Sun elves generally live in cities that contain a variety of other humanoid species.
Additional Facts: The first race of elves that were created by the gods. They were granted 100 extra years compared to their lesser cousins of fire and snow elves. They consider themselves rather above most humanoid species(including the fae-though they won't admit that to their faces). A lot of sun elves are encouraged to be scholars and put themselves at the height of whatever occupations they choose. A lot of sun elves are doctors, lawyers, teachers, etc.


Children of Sauda(Great Mother, Queen of the Moon and Illusions, Lady of Identity)

Species Name:
Trolls
Life Span: 1-5 childhood. 5-10 teenage hood. 11-50 adulthood. Most trolls tend to die by 60.
General Appearance: Trolls are between 8-9 ft. They are generally muscular and their bodies are covered in thick hides that is various hues of grey. Their hair is usually white, grey, or black.
Geographical Location: They tend to make their villages high in the mountains in secluded areas. Some few live inside noble homes.
Additional Facts: A noble warrior race. They make their homes in seclusion(more to keep from squishing the other humanoids then anything else), but they maintain good relations with other people of Iagreth. They will oft lend themselves out as body guards, prison guards or as muscle in armies.

Species Name: Orcs
Life Span: Considered adults at 14 years of age. Usually live up to age 75 though some manage to live as long as 80.
General Appearance: Orcs have skins in various hues of grey and green. Most tend to be dark haired but a couple blond orcs have crept up. Have tusks growing out of their lower lips. Have pointed ears like the elves but theirs are bigger. Usually between 6-8 ft tall.
Geographical Location: Most orcs tend to make their villages either in the eastern or southern provinces.
Addtional Facts: Orcs tend to have multiple spouses as the more they have the more power they are said to wield. Most known for being expert crafts people.

Species Name: Goblins
Life Span: Adults at 18. Usually live 65 years.
General Appearance: They had flat faces, broad noses, pointed ears, and small, sharp fangs. Their foreheads sloped back, and their eyes varied in color from red to yellow. Their skin color ranged from yellow through any shade of orange to a deep red. Usually stand between 3 ft 4 inches to 4 ft.
Geographical Location: Goblins make their homes all over the five provinces in various caves and hills.
Additional Facts: Most goblins tend to be very quiet and fast. Most goblins choose a life of thievery.

Species Name: Shapeshifters(Animal Forms)
Life Span: They have the same kind of life spans are human beings.
General Appearance: Their exist several types of shifters in Iagreth; cats, wolves, deer, badgers, owls, fish.
Geographical Location: Shapeshifters tend to make their homes all over Iagreth depending on what race they are.
Additional Facts: Some of the more wild of shapeshifters make their homes among the wilds among the normal animals of their species. There are increased shapeshifters that are choosing to make their homes in towns and cities amongst other humanoid species.

Species Name: Shadows and Shades(Dark Elementals)
Life Span: Shadows will typically live up to 25 years. Shades will live up to 50 years.
General Appearance: Shadows are dark masses that typically take the shape of small animals; rats, cats, dogs, etc(they can temporarily appear as normal members of the species). Shades are the greater dark elementals that typically assume human form.
Geographical Location: Wherever darkness exits.
Additional Facts: Shadows and Shades are created when people or animals die in unexpected or violent ways. What remains are creatures of darkness who can't remember their former lives. Many haunt the dark places of the world but still others look to reimmerse themselves with the world.


Children of Cerulea( Princess of Air )

Species Name:
Furies(Air Elementals)
Life Span: Lesser air elementals tend to live between 20-25 years. Superior air elementals tend to live up to 50 years.
General Appearance: Lesser air elementals look like swirling blobs of wind that stand at between 3 ft-4 ft. More powerful air elementals are still made of wind, though they tend to take on a more human like appearance(their various features tend to be ranges of blue, grey, and white). The more human like air elementals are usually between 5 ft-6 ft. Superior air elementals can also temporarily solidify into form.
Geographical Location: Most of Iagreth's air elementals tend to make their homes among the clouds. Their have been some who join fisherman and traders on boats though, lending their powers to give speed to their errands(these ones are looked down upon though for giving aid to "lesser" beings).
Additional Facts: Furies are one of the two elemental beings that were given more then one form. A mostly superior and haughty species who think they are above other species(most particularly any of the humanoid ones).

Species Name: Harpies
Life Span: Harpies are considered children between 1-10 years. Teens are 11-19 years. Adult at 20 years.
General Appearance: Creatures that are half-bird, half-human. They are extremely varied in skin, hair, feather, and eye colour. Female harpies are between 4 ft-5 ft tall. Male harpies range between 4 1/2 ft-5 1/2 ft.
Geographical Location: A lot of harpies choose to make their homes high in the mountains away from most of the other species of Iagreth. Their is however a large harpy population that live in the capital regions of each of the five provinces that lend themselves out as messengers to the current emperor or empress and the kings and queens.
Additional Facts: Harpies meet up every 3 months for the purposes of repopulating their species; the rest of the time children are raised in bands of females and males.

Children of Terbis(Prince of Earth, Lord of Fertility and Land Animals)

Species Name:
Fae
Lifespan: Age like humans until 21. They will live for up to 800 years.
General Appearance: Fae have extremely varying skin tones, hair colour, and eye colour. No wings. Female fae are between 5-5 1/2 ft. Males are usually between 5 1/2-5ft
Geographical Location: Most tend to live in the central province, but cities that include them can be found in the northern, southern, eastern, and western provinces.
Additional Facts: Fae make up the largest percent of the ruling class of Iagreth. Their laws of succession favour the eldest child as heir.

Species Name: Plains People(Human)
Lifespan: Reach the age of majority at 21 years. They can live up to 115 years.
General Appearance: The Plains people have skin that usually light brown to dark brown. Hair is usually dark. Eyes range between greys, browns, and black.
Geographical Location: Live mostly in the grasslands in the western province of Efrad.
Additional Facts: A mostly wandering folk who move around the western plains in bands; usually composed of grandparents, parents, aunt, uncles, cousins. Though they have a lot of fights tend to break out in between bands they usually only marry fellow plains people.


Children of Aquis(Lady of the Waters, River + Sea Creatures, Trade + Safe Sailing)

Species Name:
River Folk(Human)
Lifespan: Reach the age of majority at 21 years. They can live up to 115 years.
General Appearance: The river folk of Iagreth have medium peach skin to medium brown skin. They tend to have hair in various shades of blonde and brown. River folk have eyes that are either blue or green. They are usually between 4 1/2 ft-6 ft.
Geographical Location: Though they call themselves river folk not all of them exclusively live by rivers; some choose to make their homes by the sea.
Additional Facts: A lot of river folk choose the life of fishing or trading due to the nature of their powers.

Species Name: Lizardfolk
Life Span: 1-20 hatchling. 21-30-teen. 31-60 middle adulthood. 61-80 old age.
General Appearance: Reptilian humanoids. Skin is covered in scales in hues of green, brown, or grey. Eye colour is always yellow. Hair is usally in shades of blonde, red, and brown.Tails are usually about 3 ft long. Typically between 5ft-7 ft. Have sharp claws on the their hands and feet.
Geographical Location: Lizardfolk live all over the five provinces as long as it's by a body of water. A lot of settles have sprung up near the city but it's not unheard of for settlements to spring up near rivers, marshs, or lakes.

Species Name:
Aquina(Water Elementals)
Lifespan: Most aquina live up to 30 years.
General Appearance: Beings made out of living water. Between 3-4t tall.
Geographical Location: Water elementals make their homes in any body of water(whether it be a fountain in a city to the actual sea).
Additional Facts: One of the most helpful of the elemental species.

Children of Novis(Lord of Fire and Combat)

Species Name:
Gnome
Lifespan: 1-2 infancy, 2-11 childhood, 12-19 teen, 20 adulthood
General Appearance: Gnomes are generally between 2 ft-3 1/2 ft tall. They have typically tan or brown skin. Their hair tends to be mostly in shades or blonde though in recent years some are turning out with light brown hair.
Geographical Location: Gnomes make their homes by burrowing into hills are over the continent.
Additional Facts: Gnomes typically live in a home with both of their parents for the first six years of their lives. In is then tradition for gnome families to then separate and each parent raises their opposite gender children until adulthood. After that they are expected to strike out on their own for ten years to learn about the world and find a mate.

Species Name: Fire Elves
Life Span: Age the same as humans until 25. Can live up to 600 years.
General Appearance: Mostly golden skinned or olive toned beings with blonde or red hair. Pointy ears. Are usually between 5ft-6 1/2 ft tall.
Geographical Location: Most fire elves live in the Arid Wastelands on the border between the central province and the southern province.
Additional Facts:

Species Name: Firekin(Fire Elementals)
Life Span: Fireskin tend to live up to 30 years if they can maintain constant nourishment of fire.
General Appearance: Beings formed out of living flame. Between 3-4 ft tall.
Geographical Location: The majority of fire elementals make their homes in the volcanoes of the surrounding islands of Iagreth due to the constant presence of lava. There are some who choose to travel though and take their chances finding a next source of fire to eat.
Additional Facts: A mostly chaotic race.

Children of Lutum(Lord of Stone, Craftsmenship, and the Arts)

Species Name:
Dwarves
Lifespan: 1-25 childhood. 25-52-teenagehood. 53 age of majority. They can live up to 500 years.
General Appearance: Dwarves are usually between 4 ft-5 ft tall and tend to be stout. Dwarves have varying physical characteristics depending on the clan they belong to. Male dwarves are bearded. All dwarves where different type of jewelry(beads, rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.) for each and every member of their families.
Geographical Location: There are at least 2 major dwarf cities in the nothern, eastern, southern, and western provinces. Dwarves in the central province lives in towns and village among other humanoid species. Mostly they tend to keep to the city they are born unless they are a trader.
Additional Facts: Most dwarves are naturally gifted in crafting and blacksmithing. In the past two millennium a lot of their kind are leaving their homes to study engineering. They are behind such inventions are glasses, prosthetics, electrical lighting, and airships.
Nothing is more important then family to a dwarf.

Species Name: Gemina(Rock Elementals)
Lifespan: Gemina can live up to 50 years.
General Appearance: Elementals formed with bodies of rocks, precious gems, or metals. Are between 3 ft-4 ft.
Geographical Location: Depends on the elemental. There are some who choose to live completely in the wilds close to the type of rock they resemble. There are some who choose to live in tandem with the dwarves in their cities giving aid to their projects. There are also those who like to make their homes among the more open cities giving their aid to jewelers, construction workers, etc.
Additional Facts: Gemina are among the most helpful elemental races.

Children of Cyrossa(Lady of Ice/Snow)

Species Name: (Human)
Life Span: Reach the age of majority at 21 years. They can live up to 115 years.
General Appearance: The people of this species of human tend to be olive skinned. Nearly all are brown or black haired.
Geographical Location: They mostly live in numerous villages among the northern and southern provinces of Iagreth. Some also choose to make their homes in mountains of other regions though.
Additional Facts:

Species Name: Frost lads and lasses
Life Span: Live usually up to 25 years.
General Appearance: Elemental beings made of snow or ice. Typically stand between 3-4 ft tall.
Geographical Location: Most live in the nothern province of Iagreth.
Additional Facts: They have a certain fascination with the the humanoid species of Iagreth. In the past 100 years or so they've started making their own villages with igloos made out of snow or ice. Some of the more mean frost lads and lasses enjoy making living ice sculptures of people who come across their lands.

Species Name: Snow Elves
Life Span: Age the same as humans until 25. Can live up to 600 years.
General Appearance: Mostly white-skinned(as in snow white) or pale beings with shades of white and blonde hair. Pointy ears. Are usually between 5ft-6 1/2 ft tall.
Geographical Location: The snow elves live exclusively at the top of the nothern province of Iagreth.
Additional Facts:

Magic in Iagreth

1) People who are born with magic are only able to control one element depending on the heritage they were born into

2) In the cases of hybrid species magic users will inherit one type of magic from any of their bloodlines.

3) Magic training typically starts at 4 and it takes up 20 years of training to be considered a master.

4) Part of magic training is faith. Magic users are expected to give back to the world they were born from(for example plant users growing new trees, etc.)

5)Dark Magic: Able to shape darkness and shadows into objects, weapons, shields, and armour. Dark magic users are also able to make shadow puppets come to life for a limited amount of time. They also have have illusion magic.

6) Light magic: Able to shape light into objects, weapons, shields, and armour. Light users also have the power of reanimation(they can bring dead bodies back to life to fight for them)

7) Fire magic: Able to shape fire into objects, weapons, shields, and armour. More advanced users can also use lightning. They never get cold.

8)Air magic: Able to shape air into objects, weapons, shields, and armour. If a master or air they can use it to manipulate storms.

9)"Light Earth" Plant Magic: Earth users are able to manipulate plant life to grow, move and attack, and rise and "walk". They can also use healing magic.

10) "Dark Earth" Rock Magic: Power to manipulate rocks, precious, stones, and metal. Can use to create objects, weapons, shields, and armour. People with this kind of power tend to more durability and strength then others.

11) "Light Water" Water Magic: Users can manipulate bodies or water into objects, weapons, shields, and armour(but can not solidify).

12) "Dark Water" Ice/Snow Magic: The ability to construct things out of snow and ice(can not liquify). Can also manipulate snow and ice.

Even though it's still under construction, I'm very interested in this concept! I can't wait to see what it evolves into!
 
@bittersuite thanks so much for your interest. I'm really sorry it's still under construction.....I accidentally deleted all my files I had on this world when I was trying to make room on my laptop for Sims 4. I should be finished all the information sometime in the next couple days.

Oh man I feel that. I delete stuff like that all the time- it happens!
I'm very excited to see what this world shapes into-- it's a super interesting concept!
 
I'm interested :) maybe add in constructs like mechanical servants. Perhaps A form of communication developed by the sun elves is spheres of light that unravel into written messages that appear as glowing runes suspended in the air these can be rewritten and sent back by both magicians and comoners these spheres of cold light are sent using small towers that lay scattered across the land in order to send A new one you would need to either have A sunstone that has been preprepared or be trained in the art of light magic
 
Omg. Yeah mechanical servants are good. I had planned those in the original idea(though at the time I only got as far as small animal machines that were used for spying purposes)....but yeah domestics probably too.

And I love the communication idea. It fits with how I pictured them being.
 
I am also interested in this idea. I could try to roleplay as either a shifter or an elf if you're still looking for people.

Physical Appearance: Hayfa stands at about 5 ft 4" is rather stout as she tends to favour her more dwarven heritage. Her skin is a medium brown that she inherited via her father and paternal grandmother. She has black hair that is cropped very close to her head. Her eyes are dark grey. Her right arm is a plain mechanical steel arm. Hayfa typically dresses like this when she isn't doing spy work. She wears more modern dresses when she does her spy work along with various wigs and such.
Home Town: Azuris, Central Province
Occupation: Spy for the Mah Family
Character Connections: Jerrot Ashemark(twin brother), Torcall Ashemark(adoptive father), Shobna Ashemark(adoptive mother), three elder brothers(adoptive), two older sisters(adoptive), Alysone Clan(birth family-she refuses to acknowledge them now)
Personality: Hayfa was always a bold and willful child. She was never afraid to try new things, make friends, or question things endlessly. She saw no problems with this. These were qualities her older brother displayed and their father admired them for it. She remained stubbornly this way even though she was constantly being criticized by the elders for not being more passive. As an adult she is still bold, but a little less willful because her current job requires her to be able to follow orders a little more. She is also very protective of the people who she holds dear. The people she is most protective of in the world are Jerrot and her adoptive family. You mess with one of them and she will seek vengeance. She is very slow to warm up to anyone else, as her birth family's banishment of her and her brother left her with many insecurities and severe abandonment issues. If she has to work with someone it is kept strictly professional. Hayfa also displays a remarkable talent for reading people and situations.

Backstory: Hayfa Ashemark was born Hana Alysone. The Alysone clan was one of the wandering clans of the western plains. The Alysone clan is a clan that extremely patriarchal. Men were expected to be the fierce warrior types and women were to stay home and care for the homestead. The clan never produced many members with magic and of course the few magic wielders were expected to be plant manipulator. Enter the twins Hana and Ivon. The first few years of their lives were relatively normal. Hana lived at home with mother, older sisters, and twin brother. She also had two older brothers that were considered men at that point and were often away fighting. There were some slight problems. Hana was always the more bold and combative of the two twins. She was consistently getting into fights on her brother's behalf. This alone led to general disapproval among her grandparents and aunts and uncles. When at four and she started showing signs of having rock magic(and Ivon air magic) things started to spiral. Accusations were lobbied about adultery and so forth. No one in the family knew that a great-great grandmother had once rebelled against family traditions and her own controlling husband by having a discreet affair with a wandering dwarf/fury trader. In the end they kept the twins on for another eight years since they were already named within the clan and as long as they could bend the twins to their traditions.

Hana and Ivon were eventually dead named(kicked out of the clan) in the year they turned twelve. Hana was in constant rebellion against the confining gender roles of the clan and Ivon was too much of a peacekeeper for their liking. Their mother abandoned them to a soldier who was heading home from a tour in the army. This army soldier was named Torcall Ashemark, a man of the river people, who took in the twins along with his orc wife. It was Torcall who gave her the name Hayfa after his mother. Hayfa was very slow to warm up to her new family as she kept expecting them to drop her any minute like her birth family did. It was probably three years before she realized they were they type who were never going to let her go. Hayfa became very defensive about her new family and refused to acknowledge that her first one even existed even more. During her childhood this sometimes led to ridicule, especially by those who could tell she was a hybrid who didn't look like either of her parents. This stopped as she repeatedly beat up anyone who teased her.

Her mother Shobna got her and Jerrot into formal education and arranged for them to have magic teachers. Hayfa really enjoyed school and her training. For the first time she wasn't being held back from learning everything. This led to be her being rather overzealous in her studies...trying to cram as much knowledge as she could into her brain. It fascinated her to learn about all the different species and their cultures. But more then that she loved learning to control her magic. It always felt like a way to challenge the anger she often felt. Hayfa did lose an arm in training accident the first time she tried controlling metal instead of rock. Her new older siblings pitched in money to buy her a metal arm. She developed an appreciation for science at this time. While there were many who thought the world should favour one over the other....she truly believes that their needs to be some sort of balance.

At eighteen she joined the spy corps. Shobna was the one who got her the job, as out of all of her children Hayfa displayed the most aptitude for her line of work. The nineteen year old's devotion to the Empress and her family is absolute.

Physical Appearance: Cassius is a middle-aged looking man with olive toned skin. He has straight brown hair that he keeps neatly cut short because he believes it makes him look more professional. He has dark brown eyes. Wears a pair of golden rimmed glasses. Cassius stand at around 6ft tall and is relatively thin. He typically wears full gentlemen dress.
Home Town: He once hailed from a small town named Lorlea, North Province. He lives now in the city of Azuris, Central Province.
Occupation: Member of the Conclave
Character Connections: Elena Warridge(Wife), Atticus Warridge(Son), Lukas Warridge(Son), Royal Family(Advisor to), Conclave members(fellow council members)

Personality: Cassius has always been an extremely ambitious person. He likes to plan things out an be in charge of things. He will do endless favours for people in order to get what he wants. People view him as someone who is extremely generous and a good listener. Cassius is also withdrawn. He doesn't talk much about his own past except for things he finds convenient to tell people. He is also very very careful to not let people know exactly how prejudiced he is against magic users. The words he speaks are always chosen with extreme care, if he doesn't think it's important he won't say it. Underneath his public persona lies a ruthless, vengeful, and malicious mind.
Backstory: Cassius Warridge was born to a minor noble family in nothern Iagreth. This may seem like somewhat of a big deal, but it isn't. The Warridge family's area of control was one near the Grayback mountains where life was hard and settlements few and far between. The Warridge "manor" was little more then a wooden long hall in the small village of Lorlea with only four or five other dwellings under their control. The family also had to pitch in towards some of the more heavy work in order for survival. The family weren't even that respected. Most of the praise in that part of the world was saved for the ice mages who were able to help stave off some of the ill effects of the cold weather. Needless to say Cassius hated his upbringing, and grew to have a resentment for people with magic in their blood. He didn't even wait until he was twenty one to leave his home, Cassius packed up and left by the time he was eighteen.

His first move brought him to a city on the border between the north and central provinces. It was here he first made a name for himself in politics. Cassius made an advantageous marriage to a woman named Sofie Pernell there that advanced him in rank. She was the one who gave him his first son Atticus. He also made friends. Lots and lots of friends. The young man went among the commons and listened to what people there had to say about improving living conditions and he would bring this back to his own peers. In turn he would do favours for the nobility and procure things for them through his growing list of contacts.

Cassius also did a couple stints in the army. He used his time not only to show his love for Iagreth but to make even more friends who could help him later. His wife sadly died during his last tour in the army. He went home to mourn her for the appropriate length of time and then moved his household in the capital city. Once more he did what he does in every place he visits. Cassius eventually drew the attention of the empress and he found himself becoming a member of the conclave. He also married his second wife Elena and had his second son Lukas.

He puts a lot of money towards hospitals, universities, and other projects that value science and engineering. He's very careful to put his lot into other projects though as to not show favoritism though.

I have some character ideas one is A human or gnome alchemist searching for A scientific way to cease the decay of the world. Another is A magically gifted half sun elf explorer looking for modern evidence to show that indeed the gods influence is indeed real and their detachment from the world is causing reality to destabilize. Another is the son of an orc warchief who received A vision from their God about the end times this causes him to embark on his quest In order to discover what in their tongue is the "child of fate" essentially the physical manifestation of their God coming to earth to save their people from the end times.

His wrists have small wrist-bow on his left wrist the scope down so it doesn't hit anything as he walks around. His outfit, a leather vest, and a frayed undershirt that is green in color. Black pants with chains that tie a leather pouch to the leather leg supports. A Watch with a wrist band that wraps around his wrist multiple times seems odd until his second form
Physical Appearance in Wolf form: black fur along his entire body other than his muzzle and chest which grow in white his blue eyes change to a golden hue. The goggles remain upon his head trapped now around his wolf ears. The watch is removed and placed around his neck so he doesn't loose it before transforming it helps him keep track of how long he is in his wolf form. He can shift into a full wolf or a half wolf half human looking creature which is the form he prefers.
Home Town: Have forgotten over the years he now feels anywhere he is is home. Lagreth

Hard working and very self directed in his goals. Ze'v enjoyed his loner lifestyle but truly craves to be near everyone in town. To him he feels not everyone yet accepts the fact that shifters lived in town and worked stalls. This makes him dedicated to provide the best raw materials he can and he takes great pride in it. He does however feel energized to hang out in town for as long as he can before his earnings vanish and he's forced back to work.
Backstory: When Ze'v was younger he was taught how to hunt and trap for furs and the like he learned to follow tracks and studied the forest, his shape shifting assists a lot with tracking and since he rarely uses the complete wolf form he's still able to hunt using the crossbow on his wrist. The goggles he has on top of his head help him to see the prey he's hunting during the storms that at times frequent the area. His parents drilled into his head that other humanoids may never accept him and that he'd have to work twice as hard as other species. (even if it isn't true) Believing this however he grew up with a strong work ethnic. This actually causes him to at times be gone from the towns and cities he sells in for long periods. He enjoys the smells of the city and has since he was really young but found it hard to make friends as he couldn't disclose he was a shifter. His father had tried to teach him how to use Dark magic which he has a bit of knowledge in but only enough to make illusions and wrist bow bolts for his weapon. He has however noticed his magic seems the strongest around the full moon and the new moon though he isn't sure why that is. His mother spoke often of the Queen of the moon and that her powers was what gave life to his kind but he never much understood what that meant. I love the alchemist and the half sun elf. But you know it's really your descision what kind of character you want to make.

Backstory:when he was A young teen his mother left him with his uncle an alchemical scientist working in A small town in the crescent hills. Falkas had no idea that his mother and father were hunted down on counts of treason. after their disappearence falkas lived and learned under his uncle. Growing up in the city he always loved the marketplace and celebrations where he could listen to tales from all across the land. While his uncle was one of the best alchemists in the kingdom he was also A little loopy always talking about how reality was made from the spirits of the gods and magic is in everything, Falkas never took it seriously. After his passing from A lung disease Falkas came into possession of all his uncle's belongings including his journals from which he began to finally grasp all his uncle's ramblings he quickly sold the shop and began making his way for the capitol city of Azuris to speak with an old collegue of his father.

Weapons include a knife and sling for throwing potions and rocks
