    My Roommate is a Wizard

Lea closed her book and set tidily on the nightstand. She was showered and in her pajamas already. She grabbed her purple phone and looked at the texts and emails she hadn’t read yet. She responded when it was necessary and then plugged her phone in and set it on top of the book on the...

    Looking for roleplayers

I can totally get into something like this. Let me know if you still want to write something!

    Are your Oc's your Gender?

I do both female and male, however, I tend to enjoy writing male characters over female. Which is crazy, because I'm female. The whole 'write what you know' thing doesn't apply. But I do write both.

    Whose Your Favourite Fictional Character?

My new favorite character is Thomas Shelby from Peaky Blinders. He is a very intense character with a lot of facets. You see his gentle and loving side but he'll turn on you on a dime and he trusts no one, even the people you think he trusts. He's fantastic.

    What is your favourite animal?

This is an interesting question. Why? Because my favorite animal was always a cat; for as long as I could remember. But as an adult we got a cat and it was horrible! We are just not an animal family, and I am a bit put out by it...Now I have no idea what my favorite animal is.

    New User Hello again!

I haven't been here long, but something that is simple and easy would be nice. A family living on a farm and in their small community, or life in colonial times. There is always a plot to create to make things interesting, but I'd like to see something simple like that.

    The Rules of Writing

This is absolutely amazing. I love it a lot. Just reading it has put my thoughts on my stories and characters in a new and different way. It's so clear and makes so much sense. Thanks!!

    New User Hi!!

Hi, Ghostie! I will be very interested in reading some of your writings! I'm not a fan of horror movies, but I do enjoy scary stories. Am I good at writing that genre? I don't know, but maybe not? I'm excited to see you around!

    New User Hello!

Hi! Yes, I also enjoy long-standing narratives, piecing themselves together over time. It's a beautiful thing. My favorite part is seeing characters change. Glad to see you!

    New User Hi, there!

Oh, I love reading science fiction. it's one of my favorites. But to write?...I guess it might depend on what the storyline and plot is. Anything I have to do too much research to make my posts work isn't my thing. Though, sometimes I might if it is needed for something.

What do you start with when creating a character?

When creating a new character, I usually decide if they're a happy character with good morals and a good head on their shoulders, or if they are a sadder character with a lot of things to work through. I tend to lean toward the latter, so I'm hoping to work on various types of characters here...

    Why do you roleplay?

Oh, this is such a fun question. I roleplay because I love to see what other writers can add to my posts. I absolutely love the idea of writing stories with other people. I think it makes me a better writer, especially when I say, "I posted, but I'm sure it's great. I was rushed," and the other...

    New User Hi, there!

I guess I should digress. I assume I can write any genre, as I've been writing for a very long time and done various sites. However, I haven't written in all genres. My favorite is simply fiction. I have written science fiction, also. My favorite would be fiction. My least...

    New User Hi, there!

Hi, I'm Marguerite. I've been roleplaying online for most of my adult life. Sites come and go and I just wanted a place that was easy and fun. I wanted somewhere I can just be and belong. I'm very busy with six kids but I like to post a few times a week. I love writing, and I'll write almost any...
