The Evrensel Conflict The Evrensel Conflict -- Chapter 2: Fire and Sand

“This is gonna be a fucking doozy.” Marcus muttered under his breath as he extended his left hand, cradling the Ghost in his palm. Sections of his forearm and hand opened up, revealing an array of miscellaneous equipment like probes, needles and interfacing plugs. The majority retracted after a few seconds, leaving only a pair of pointy objects and a glowing interface module exposed.

The pointy things attached themselves to the Ghost, tip glowing as they processed preliminary information. The interface module pulsed and faded, as the Ghost’s light did the same at a different pace.

“Attempting to synchronize.” Marcus informed Vortex. “I don’t know if it’s gonna take or not, so you may wanna be ready for this. In case there’s some sort of code, or dead man’s switch, or something. I don’t know how this stuff works...”

Both the interface and the Ghost flashed their light once, and began to pulse in sync. Marcus breathed out. “Alright. Commanding it to wake up... now.”

Engrossed with Xiao as they were Mundi went to cleaning up its scattered cart contents and repairing its broken cart. Ingots and cubes were everywhere as were bottles of water that had thankfully not broken. It detected that there was an arid environment of sand outside when the door opened. That changed the cart needs so Mundi opted for a sled on shocks instead. Propulsion meant it needed to use some of the copper it had left to make a small ion thruster as it really didn't have any fuel. It would be enough for Mundi but carrying anything else would need a different solution. It set to work as they other two here considered how to excise the thing Master detected in Xiao and with a whirr of effort here and there and a buzz of its nanofabricator the cart was repaired and bent into a boat shape with some light ceramic on the bottom for grit strength. There was a thruster attached with a simple swivel mount so Mundi's back legs could control it using horizontal pegs.

Mundi pushed the clattering airboat out onto the dunes. It was hot and its coolant systems were running moderately but it wasn't too overtaxed. A cable plugged into the receptacle in the air-fed ion engine and Mundi warmed it up. Reeling the cable in it climbed into the metal crate not much larger than itself. Wheel legs grav-clamped made a hollow thunk to the sides but for two that made a ping clamped to a set of steering pegs at the back of the improvised craft. Mundi informed master it was ready to go.

"I'm having problems attaining full coherence still, pet. Perhaps you can make me a drone to interface with later. I'll make a nav point for you for Norman. Find him.", replied a passive voice into Mundi's head.

"OK! Sand Mundi goes!", Replied Mundi cheerfully as the ion engine fired.

It had miscalculated some of the environmental parameters of this place in that it shot off like a rocket high in the air from a small dune seen for quite a distance.

"Bad Ion engine, Baaaaaad!" Said the small drone as it air corrected with the engine landing hard on its spring-skids with a mushroom cloud of silt.

After mediating its speed it still left a plume of dust rising over the dunes in a meandering line toward Norman. Periodically popping over the interceding dunes with a whine of thrust like an excitable blue pug.

Nep's hands closed around the baton, gripping it firmly and in a grip far, far, more experienced than what her age would suggest. She then quickly twirled it around brought it up, wielding it in one hand in a very proper, experienced, stance as if she was a fencer ready to leap into combat with a fury of strikes. "Nah. This is Noire's style." she said simply before switching her form, gripping the baton with both hands and getting into a stance as if it were a longsword. "Now this is my style! Bit short but it should more than do the trick! I'm good to go!" she exclaimed happily before, suddenly, random cleavage!

Well, not entirely 'random', she had heard Vert coming from behind her. Still, she hadn't expected the full-on hug! Especially in the hot, sweaty, environment. She got shoved between the bosom with a squeak, the stun baton hitting the ground as she quickly deactivated it so as to not shock both of them. "Great to see you too Vert! Now I have a second weapon I can use!" she said, her voice muffled before she pulled herself free. "And Vert, please, it's so hot..."

She then looked to Norman with a small sigh. "Norman, I'm... 41 years old." she said with a small and somewhat shameful laugh. "Don't worry about me. I'm not mad or anything. Just not a child either." Then, finally, to Maduin. "Yuppers! I'll give you a 100% Nep-assured guarentee she'll be safe! With Vert back and this stun baton I can fight in melee combat once more. I may not be able to turn into a goddess, but this should be more than enough to beat up any baddie who comes along."

Lera Mishnev and Leon Quinn

Several miles away upon a small vantage point in the sand, approached one of many of the newcomers to this calamity. A cybernetic woman slowed and soon stopped strolling once she had the group in her sights, far away they were, yet she could almost see the details of each member who it consisted of. The boons of optical cybernetics at work. As Lera Mishnev's crimson gaze shifted between the sloping sands, the distant village and the unorthodox gathering before her, she felt...frustrated, groaning loudly as she shrugged her arms. "Why the hell am I even here?!" She spoke aloud to her self, a thick Russian accent laced with a sultry tone and a light mechanical backing sounded, then went a little quieter as she took in her surroundings properly. "Where even is here?" Lera wondered, looking down at her feet briefly, lightly kicking a bit of sand a couple of times just to make sure it was all real. Even if that didn't confirm it for her, the settling heat upon her metallic body certainly would, particularly if she could still sweat anywhere but her head and collarbone.

Lera would soon feel however, another new presence nearby, along with hearing his footsteps in the sand slowly approaching, clearly he wasn't sneaking up on her, rather just approaching a fellow stranger to an unfamiliar land. The man was clad in white and generally well dressed, neat to the point of looking military, a helmet upon his head covered by an equally well-woven hood as he came into view next to her, Lera passing a gaze to the mystery man before looking back to the horizon. "You just, appear here too?" She quizzed, earning a nod from the hooded man. "Yes." He also uttered in reply, his voice stern and a little deep, Lera giving him a more proper look, noting his hands were behind his back and only just now was he relaxing his arms, revealing his gauntlets, then he too kept looking to the same horizon.

"I don't know you, but I believe I should follow you. Else I'll just be wondering this desert for the remainder of my life..." The man then scoffed a little. "Or if I discover that a hybrid like me can die of thirst. I've never been eager to test such a theory, nor am I now." He added, now looking to Lera. "Well, I was about to head toward that group down yonder." She replied, pointing to them as she did. "Then I shall accompany you, if you don't mind it." The man declared, to which Lera simply nodded in agreement, it'd be a mistake to turn down an ally in this strange place. "Commander Leon Quinn, by the way. You?" Leon introduced himself, mildly surprising Lera, who looked to him directly. "Lera. Lera Mishnev." She replied curtly. Leon hadn't a lick of trouble speaking to her, as he hoped he wouldn't, but now wouldn't be the time for such issues. "Pleasure to meet you, Lera." He uttered, preparing to descend. "Likewise, Leon." Lera concluded as they both slid down the incline and rapidly approached the group of people, hoping for the best rather than fearing the worst about them.

"I might be a little drained after this, but seeing that you can use it better than I do, I think this is the right choice."

Ben smacks his palm onto Plutia's mid-back as his eyes glowed a bright pink. Plutia felt a surge of energy as a good fraction of her mana points were restored.

"That should do the trick. I know you like to expel a lot at a go, but... try to use it sparingly."

As they continued walking, they managed to find the one they were looking for.

"It looks like one of those Twilight- Twirlick- Twi'lek ladies..." Ben comments as she approaches the oddly specific character. It was Xenon.

"Good to see that you're doing good, Xenon. Ploots and I were just... well... finding everyone. We've been... partially successful."

"Hehe~ It's nice to meet you again Xenon~" Plutia responded, smiling towards the both of them when she felt the increase in Skill Points in her body. It felt rejuvenating and strong, and was enough for at least one transformation but instead of releasing our anger now, she thought to wait since they've only just reunited. Besides, she was saving it for one particular character if they chose to meet them. "Yay~ I can feel my transformation again~ But I'm saving it for that meanie robot lady... She's going to get punished... Hehehehe~" Plutia chuckled a little with a patch of Sadism once again before calming down. "So... Who are we going to track now, Benny?~"

Norman nodded at the newcomers, the helmet masking his grin at receiving reinforcements. “Clone Trooper 1066, AKA Norman, at your service. It’s my mission to make sure we all make it through this, until or heavier hitters get their powers back under control.” He says, snapping off a crisp salute for a second.

“While I may have lost the majority of my arsenal, thanks to your... child I should be able to hold my own in a fight.” He states, his tone becoming matter of fact as he passes Terra his macros and points to the south.

“There’s a village, about a day or two of travel just on the horizon. The plan is to make our way there before we die of thist, and figure out a plan of action beyond just survival. From what I understand, Mundi is at least still working, which means that hopefully the others are still okay.”

“Oh and uh, glad to see you’re okay you three. I may only know Miss Terra’s in passing, but less death is always a good thing.”

Nep's hands closed around the baton, gripping it firmly and in a grip far, far, more experienced than what her age would suggest. "I'm glad to hear that. From the both of you." Maduin responded with a calm and reassured tone. "I'm ready to return back to my Magicite Crystal, daughter." "Okay.." Terra exclaimed as she held onto her Magicite Crystal and focused on it, making Maduin disappear from sight. "It's good to see you again, Neptune.." "Indeed. Sorry about that... experience~" Vert responded, chuckling a little as she allowed Neptune to escape from her grip. After summoning Maduin back into her Magicite Crystal, Terra looked around for a moment. "I'm just glad we managed to find some friendly people.. I was worried I'd end up facing monsters again.." "I'm sure you won't fight any monsters in this place. Otherwise wouldn't we of already encountered hostiles?"

You've survived worse things, "Little Light"" "Don't call me that." "Hahahaha!" Vortex-25 laughed at that and then turned towards Marcus, the Ghost doing the same thing as it began to float towards Vortex's palm. "Thanks for reviving my Ghost. I wouldn't exactly be able to retrieve any of my gear if he remained dead. Plus I should be able to if I was smart enough, I should of packed some extra weapons inside of my Ghost. Hopefully though. I won't do it yet just in case he needs more time to recover."

"I have been called... I must answer. Always."
After the events of Honor and Glory, Reinhardt re-answered the call of Overwatch, as Winstons distress signal to all Overwatch members came through, despite Brigitte's rambling about how Overwatch abandoned him. Donning his armour and Rocket Hammer once more, Reinhardt Willhelm was assigned to come back to Overwatch and to help defend the world once more. At least... That's what was supposed to happen. From out of nowhere, he was pulled away from Earth by a neon-green light flash which seemed to teleport him to a unknown area.

Waking up from the pull, he found himself on top of a Desert Hill in which he was laying on the ground. Standing up once more and dusting off all the Sand from his armour, he looked around for a moment and spoke to himself. "I'm already starting to fry up in here! I never liked being posted in hot climates. But it was good for my tan." Reinhardt exclaimed as he looked around once more and discovered a group of people just underneath him. Utilising his trusty Rocket Hammer, he charged himself down the hill and towards the group.

Once he arrived at the group's location, he stopped himself in his charge and stood up, strong and proud as he introduced himself to the group, giving them a proper German Warrior Salute:

"Ah, my friends! What's with all this standing around? There's glory to be won! Haha... My name is Reinhardt Willhelm, apart of the Legendary German Crusaders and proud member of Overwatch, and defender of Innocents everywhere. Don't worry my new friends. I will be your shield!"

"hmm think that padawan could be our next... Shes like a beacon and has already a group around her... I can sense them all without even trying." Said the red Twilek while fushing into her suit to pull up her inventory. Reaching in deeper she took out the second saberstaff. Turning it on to trdt out its blades were revealed to be a menacing pure black with a red aura surrounding them. The thing sounded ancient and quite powerful like a purring engine almost. The blades were highly unstable and volatile as they charcled and sputtered fire left and right. "Not my favorite thing to use... That crystal was pulled from a sith lirds tomb..." the twilek shuddered as the saber was turned off, letting out a spine chilling screetch as it powwered down. Pointing over in a direction where Mizelia was behing a bunch of dunes she said once again. "theyre in that direction."

"That won't be neccessary, warrior," Athena responds, "I brought my own shield. Not that I use it too often these days. It's hard to find fights that push me to use it."

Athena remembers her last fight with Kusanagi Godou. He had demolished her in combat, and now she had to surpass him for a rematch. He was able to break through the impregnable Aegis on top of a few barriers of barrier magic, and shatter Athena herself. And that was after she returned to her full power via the Gorgoneion.

She had taken that battle to heart, and she still is.

"Hmph. Anyways, are you certain you can keep up with your slugging armour?"

Strife was nowhere to be seen when the big hulk of armour arrived. Instead appearing to Reinhardt's left after his introduction, lowering the large axe he wielded as his cloaking field dissipated.
"Perhaps next time you would consider a heads up before rushing up to a group of armed individuals to avoid risk of decapitation" The machine stated dryly standing in his full length now.
Whirring sounds could be heard from his back followed by two clicks and then loud thumps as two projectiles flew straight up about sixty meters into the air.

Nearing their peak altitude they emitted rapid high intensity scans and radar pulses out over the surroundings. Anyone with warning systems or electronic sensors would sense it. For a normal person it would feel like an uncomfortable tingling in the skin.
"Or risk getting shot" he continued as the two sensor probes came back down towards his back with loud thunk's. His Cyclops eye glowing and then emitting a holo map in front showing a detail scan of the surrounding area almost up to four square kilometres. "It seems they where scattered by the crash and we have movement in a few other directions"

Alicia closed in on Alistia and Xiao "here let me help you" She said placing her hands on Xiao, her skin merging lightly with the unconscious females as her regenerative abilities kicked in.
"What the hell" Alicia said with a groan when what was going inside Xiao hit her like a sledgehammer. The girl wobbled in a kneeling position and then slumped to the side letting go.
She came to again when hitting the sand.
"ugh that was a bit to much at once" With such forces spreading how the hell was she supposed to heal the girl. When she had to apply just as much healing on herself at the same time.
What little she had managed in those moments might still be active inside Xiao thanks to Alistia's healing but it wouldn't last long.

Kiratta almost jumped as she spotted a literal hunk of metal charging in their direction, though her warning scream got stuck in her throat as the eccentric figure arrived in what felt like a split-second, sending a wave of sand next to the traveling party. Her weapon was already on hand, finger itching to release the lock on the batteries and activate its fully-automatic fire mode, but the armored man's introduction was too amiable to even point a weapon in his general direction. She did need a moment to calm her mad heart, however, and reassess the situation. Now some huge guy in armor comes up to us all friendly after charging down at least three dunes. Just where in the Force did I get sucked into?

Agatha, on the other side, took Reinhardt's approach with a smile behind her helmet. The woman lifted her visor, exposing her face, cheeks made rosy thanks to the heat. "Welcome, Reinhardt. This meeting may be odd, to say the least, but it is good to find another helpful soul in this strange world." She first bowed, then performed a joyous yet somewhat humorous gesture, stretching her arms upwards, and then upwards, facing the sun for a moment. "This Warrior of Sunlight welcomes you." Once her greeting was over with, however, she quickly turned to the robot, lending an ear to his report. She hummed; the task was still unclear to her, though any more information would be gladly taken.

The holographic display provided by the robot confused her even more, though she figured it represented whoever they were supposed to retrieve. "Any of those... readings show a larger group? We should go after them first."

Lera Mishnev and Leon Quinn

As the newly formed duo was headed to the gathering, something completely blindsided them: A massive man in equally large armour gleefully charging past them down the dunes faster than either of them, with the aid of a Rocket Booster on his back. Leon was surprised, but Lera was more than a little curious after the initial startle. "The neighbourhood's getting more and more classy by the second!" She exclaimed as they resumed their hastened stroll. "I've encountered more than a few strange beasts and men. That one's at the top of my list now." Leon remarked, though he was impressed with the speed of Reinhardt's approach, it was a strange sight and only one of many more to come, he felt.

Now Lera and Leon were close enough to be seen, hearing the entirety of Reinhardt's greeting, indicative of a man larger than life, he spoke loudly and passionately, a bombastic tone that would never leave listeners weary. In all of the excitement however, perhaps the Crusader forgot that, being a large armoured German man, charging straight for them is more than a little scary. Lera could only laugh as she gestured outward to the group before speaking. "I think more than a few of the hearts here are trying desperately not to burst from their chests after that stunt, Reinhardt Wilhelm!" Lera commented loudly, in-between her sincere amusement, giving Reinhardt a once over with her eyes. "You're certainly sizable enough to be a shield, that's for sure~ Lera Mishnev, nice to see some more...interesting faces here." She added, waving a few times to the rest of the group.

Leon merely nodded at Reinhardt, though his face under the mask was an impressed expression, before giving a bow of respect to him, then everyone else. "And I am Commander Leon Quinn, at your service." He spoke calmly, though Lera insistently stood half in front of Leon, to gather attention to her at that moment. "Now, might I ask: What in the seven hell's is going on here? Who, what, where and why exactly? Please?" Lera asked with a bit of urgency, but then added a strangely cutesy tone to the last word, fluttering her eyelashes mockingly but inkeeping with what she said at least.

"Then why don't we start moving? The quicker we can find our friends, the quicker we can... do things~ Yay~!" Plutia exclaimed, clasping her hands together in happiness for the fact that they were reuniting, slowly but surely. Although if anyone in the party could feel it, Plutia was way too happy to be reuniting. She kept on thinking about Vortex-25, and how she practically insulted her and threatened to kill her several times. She could not wait to transform and punish him for being such a meanie. "Since you know where she is, can we follow you?~" Plutia asked, looking towards Xenon.

"Interesting..." Vortex exclaimed, planting a hand onto her helmet where her robotic chin would be. "Ghost, are you able to access the inventory yet?" "Not at this moment in time, Guardian. I need more time to recover from practically being stepped on. Thanks to Marcus however, I should be able to recover quite fast." "That's really good news to hear. Hope you recover soon, buddy." "You know something? I'm glad I picked you as my Guardian." "Me too." Vortex then turned over to Marcus. "So. Any idea where we can link up with our fireteam? Sorry, where we can group up with our friends? I know you might not understand what that term means." She asked, taking one last look around. She didn't seem to be bothered all that much that Marcus kept talking about her as if she was in a video game.

"Indeed. Sometimes, I find myself not using it at all! But I'm not as cocky as I used to be when I was younger." Reinhardt replied with a chuckle afterwards. He really seemed like a positive out-going character, but isn't afraid to get serious when the situation calls for it. He next responded to Athena's comment about his armour. "Ah, don't worry about me! I can keep up with the team, and still offer my services as a tank. Built with 100% German Power. I should be able to handle myself just fine while also keeping you all alive behind my Barrier."

"Yeah! And I sometimes wonder, if all that stealth technology, is why you're always in such a bad mood!" Reinhardt exclaimed halfheartedly as he lowered his Hammer but kept a grip on it so he didn't lose it. "Besides. If I was truly a threat to you, I'd of brought the Hammer down. Ahem. But I am no threat to you, friends." He exclaimed as he looked around for a moment. "I never thought I'd be posted in such a climate. The last I remember was Oasis, it was good for my tan. But hot climates are not my favourites."

"Indeed, my friend." Reinhardt exclaimed, smiling behind his helmet towards Agatha. "It's good to see fellow comrades in the field. For a moment there, the way you all turned towards me, that you were all going to be hostiles! Of course, what would you expect when I charged in towards you without warning? Hahaah! But enough about that. We should complete our objectives while we still can. Time is not on our side, as it usually never is in situations like these."

"Hahaah. I know right? I remember scaring quite a few people when charging in like that, but they were rest assured that my shield was there to block damage." Reinhardt exclaimed with a laugh as he looked towards the both of them and everyone else. "You all can just call me Reinhardt. Easier on the tongue as they say. Now my new friends, what seems to be our current situation? Are we rescuing some people or striking a target?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah, sure." Marcus said, still largely distracted. The Ghost's design and inner workings fascinated him, and he wanted more time to study it with. With some difficulty, however, he managed to mentally disengage himself from his task, and instead focus his internal computer to automatically copy and store information.

"Right, fireteam." He thought about it for a bit. "If you mean the Foundation fuckers, they're a Mobile Task Force. If MTFs are the elite of the Foundation, Samsara is the elite of the elite." Marcus recounted. "If you mean the team we were with when the 'bots showed up... well, I've no idea. Can you walk?"

"Tag along if you ..." She stopped mid-sentence as she potted a second much smaller mushroom cloud of dust and sand in the same direction they were headed in but some ways further away. "thats peculiar." Xenon muttered before moving towards where Mizelia was at. "Make sure to not fall behind. i wont be waiting." The twi'lek voiced out her warning while the two were still within earshot of her.

Mundi's built in ECM systems saw the scan and fired up a flat plane of hexagonal plates in the orientation of the offending scan. Its surface took on a rock camouflage with angular wrapping as multiple spectra insisted a small boulder teleports to meandering positions at roughly 70 km/h across multiple refreshes. Military hardware left a minimal EM profile and localizing slipspace transmission was mathematically impractical as little physical relation to real-space as the spatial layer had. Mundi couldn't do much for the small plume of sand or ion trail it was leaving behind as it raced up hills. Minimizing ground ground contact by dune-hopping had to do. Its fast travel wasn't exactly low profile but Master seemed insistent that it should hurry away from the Tardis. An inner loop was there, Alec, so Mundi figured master was still keeping watch.

Though it might be more apparent as two blips momentarily vanished. Mundi approached Marcus and Vortex-25 from behind a dune the rush of its engine shooting up and over them. Careening through the air on a small ceramic-bottomed sled at high speed the craft was little more than a hunk of metal with a small air-ingesting ion engine attached to it.

"HELLOMARCUSGOODBYEMARCUS!" Shouted a familiar cheerful midwestern voice flying from one dune to another.

The whine of the craft landed with a thud on the other side. Mundi was plugged in with a cable powering with its fusion power plant. Horribly expensive to its power supply the inefficient engine was Mundi's only option without having some aluminum for a lighter boat. The copper and carbon fiber it had didn't match the thrust profile it would need of a prop engine.

Some minutes later a low whine approached as Mundi slowed in pursuit of Norman's waypoint marker. As it crested the last dune Mundi doused the high-load whine and slid down furrowing an avalanche of sand ahead. As it approached a small armor the sled edged closer and closer. If he didn't move there would be a faint Thunk at the back of Norman's ankles.

Mundi's coolant systems were whining loudly as it vented into the local environment but talked over them, "Norman! Mundi is here! Master said you were here too!"

As the wheel legs unpacked it pivoted to look at the others, "Master does not recognize some of you. Are you with Norman?"

Still deep within her mindscape Xiao could just barely feel what was going outside. the constant sharp pain was slowly washed away by what ever was happening outside. The healing from Alistia doing something to at least slow the corrosion rates to more manageable levels for bot her and the spirit within her. The mage could feel some other entity doing just the same as she was within Xiao which forcefully kept the girl in avatar state as a defense of some sort.

Alicias more direct method however managed to get a bit more use out of it as it even reconstructed some of the already dealt damage before expiring and the corrosion took root once more. just like Alistia Alicia could feel another entity within Xiao fighting off what ever the tardis's heart was supposed to be.

Norman jumped, rubbing at his ankles as Mundi crashed into them. Turning around, he was greeted by the sight of the cheerful droid. “Mundi! I was wondering where you had gotten to!” He says happily, surprised he had bonded with the strange droid so quickly. Suspension bridge effect?

“I’d pat you if I thought you could feel it. Everyone, this is Mundi. A droid I found when I first came here. Useful critter. Negative twelfth, are you there?” He says to practically everyone there.

"Well then, Mundi! Nice to meet ya!" exclaimed Nep, returning to her happy smile. She then looked over at Terra. "Terra, can you still fly or access your esper form? We need to get a map and get going. Standing out here for long might be better than wandering aimlessly, but it's much worse than wandering while aimed."

---

Alistia suddenly rocked backwards, breathing in sharply as she stopped the healing. Without a staff this was much harder. Way to hard to be of practical use in combat. "I'm sorry, Xiao, but I can't do enough to stop the pain. Not without a staff." she said, knowing full-well that the girl couldn't hear her. Still, she patted Xiao on the shoulder before moving over to Alicia. "Sorry, I needed to focus on the healing. So much can go wrong if someone doesn't pay attention. I know we met but never formally. Alicia was it? I'm Alistia." she said, extending her hand for the girl. "Thanks for the help."

While she'd love to indulge in some conversation regarding just what exactly was going on around here, Kiratta simply didn't feel all that enthusiastic, with all the heat and nausea she felt. She had conquered the nausea caused by wild maneuvers, but whatever threw her into this world screwed her stomach completely. So, she simply lifted a hand towards the newcomers, giving them a lethargic wave while focusing on a way to ignore her pain and discomfort for the time being. "Aye aye, hello... Rebel pilot here. Kiratta Forin." Her words came out finally, and she offered a small smile to the newcomers. "Just... hanging around. And sorry, I have no idea of what's going on."

Agatha came in right after, moving her horse closer to the pair that had arrived recently. "Greetings. I am Agatha, of Astora. Warrior of Sunlight." Her smile was as bright as the sun, and she repeated her characteristic bow, carrying grace and respect even if done on horseback. "And sadly, I know nothing of where we are, or why. Though we have been assigned a mission, to recover another group of otherworldly warriors. Perhaps they can provide more information on the hows and whys of this place." She took a small pause, glancing around her. "We should keep moving, anyways. The sooner we reach them, the faster we'll have this situation explained to us, I suppose."

"Just about..." Vortex-25 exclaimed as she pulled herself together and started to walk at a reasonable pace. "Although my armour is ruined from taking damage from those weird guys back in that bunker, and my legs have holes in them. So I don't exactly feel good, but luckily I stopped feeling the pain." "Guardian?" "What's up, Ghost?" "I might be able to recover you a new set of gear, but it will take some time." "How much time, exactly?" "A very long time. The only way to guarantee you a new set of gear is if we went back to our world. I don't have full connection to the Traveller here." "Okay... Hopefully there's something in this world I can salvage and use as a weapon."

Though it might be more apparent as two blips momentarily vanished. Mundi approached Marcus and Vortex-25 from behind a dune the rush of its engine shooting up and over them. "Ooooooookay then." Vortex exclaimed as Mundi just decided to fly over their heads like a Titan flying through the air in their Fist of Havoc. "I guess we should follow that thing then and hope we can reunite with some people. Let's get going." She stated as she slowly started walking for a few meters and then collapsed onto the ground. "Ow... I guess the damage was more severe huh..."

"Hey... Come back..." Plutia exclaimed, pouting a little as she rushed along to get close to Xenon. "I want to find them too... There's someone I really want to see~" She stated, clasping her hands together. She had a look around and then looked towards Xenon, to which she had a question. "So... What exactly are you?~ You don't look like anyone I know... And Benny?~ Are you coming?~" Plutia asked, while also looking towards Ben.

"Hmm... Interesting." Vert exclaimed as she looked towards Mundi and inspected it's design. "Looks like something from those Halo games for my console. Although I don't quite remember everything about it... Regardless. It's good to see some familiar technology, although not exactly from my world. Hmm."

"Well then, Mundi! Nice to meet ya!" exclaimed Nep, returning to her happy smile. She then looked over at Terra. "Terra, can you still fly or access your esper form? "I can try..." Terra stated as she concentrated for a moment. . . . Nothing. "I can't do it... My powers are still locked.. And I can't fight without my sword.. The only way I'd be able to get my powers back was if I communicated with an Esper again... But my father can't do that.." Terra exclaimed as she looked down in sadness. "I'm useless right now.."
