    Fandom RPS

The future HP world sounds cool! It’s been a while since I did a fandom roleplay, but I’m more interested in giving it a shot if we’re both playing OCs. And I like playing FxF too, though I like to cut to black on anything graphic. PM me if you want to chat about ideas!

This sounds cool. How structured would it be? Would you be more of a GM figure with a plot already in mind, or would it be more group improv? I’m new here and looking for a rp or maybe two to join. :)

Thanks, haha! Law school sounds exciting too, but that would be a lot for me, I think. Way too much writing. And yes, getting close is awesome- the question of the year is of course what comes next?

A lot of people say that, they can’t do the math to be a chemist. Organic is actually really math light, fun fact. It’s not much more than basic multiplication and division. You want to get real math heavy, you’re talking physical or analytical chem. Accounting probably uses more complex math...

    Open World/Free Flow RP's

For me, it depends. I like having a partner I can improv some with. That’s the fun of rp for me. I know I can write alone, I’ve done it for years. Another person will take the story places I haven’t thought of, so there’s the influence of writing but the surprise of reading. My preference is to...

    What's your current mood?

Feeling pretty good. This seems like a cool site, just poking around some of the forums. I’m going out with some friends tonight, so they should be by soon and that’ll be fun. But for the moment, I have a good book and chips with salsa, so I really can’t complain.

    New User Hello World

Hey there, nice to meet you! Yeah, I definitely like to keep busy, haha. Life’s more exciting that way, at least in my opinion! As for Meyers Briggs, I took it maybe a couple years ago, so I don’t know how real they ever are after so long. Think I got ENTJ? Or maybe it was ESTJ, don’t remember...

How do you create your characters (process...)

I think I tend to make my world (or read about the GM’s world) first, get a sense of who or what’s already there, and then decide what role I want to fill. Maybe we need a doctor, and I play cleric... but maybe there would be more tension if I chose this other faction. I put a character in who...

    Organizing Characters

If I get attached enough to a character they go in my rp book. I have some memorable lines, a description, numerical stats (if any), and heir basic plot. But I have so many characters that I couldn’t possibly do that for them all, you know?

In case you want to jam

My marching band did September this year. Great tune. Just played our first show of the year tonight. I love Earth Wind and Fire. And yeah, I jam to prettt much anything. If it has a good tune and a good beat, I’m there. Recently I’ve been on a Billy Joel kick, though, always a favorite.

    Pirates or Ninjas?

In a fair fight, gladiator style, the pirates. Give the ninjas time to ambush, though, and I dunno, it’ll be close.

    Question

I don’t know what I was expecting when I opened this, but it wasn’t that. Uh I dunno, now I have to think about it. Maybe a requiem. I always liked Brahms’. I’m too indecisive to think about what song I’ll play for all eternity.

    What's Everybody Been Reading?

I’m reading Aurora by Kim Stanley robinson right now and loving it! It’s told from the POV of the ship’s AI, telling the story of humans set out to colonize a new planet. Definitely recommend for sci fi fans so far, though I’m only halfway through.

    New User Hello World

Hey y’all! I’m Rae, nice to meet you. I’m almost 21, finishing up a degree in organic chem in the eastern US. Thinking about PhD programs after, or maybe MD/PhD. I like science and I like helping people, haha. Even though chem is my main science, I also love astronomy. Still not over my NASA...
