"We will!" Sequoia yelled, jogging out of the kitchen. She slowed a few minutes later when Flora shot her a warning look. With her luck, she'd trip and fall and probably end up with 1000 tiny glass shards stuck in her stomach. A respectable pace was much safer. "So, flowers. We have a bajillion cups and only 1 kind of flower. I suggest you grow some...some...uh, well, I can't remember any other kinds of flowers." Sequoia shot Flora a sheepish grin.
Flora grinned back. "That's fine, we'll think of something. I think daffodils would look nice. and anemones." She reached the room, incredibly grateful that they had left the door open. She dumped all the cups on the bed, brainstorming flowers. Dahlias would be pretty. As would buttercups, freesias, crocus', foxgloves, lavender, or peonies. She would love some peonies in here. Their coral color would really make everything look so much cleaner and nicer. She told Sequoia as much and then set about growing the flowers. Sequoia filled the cups with water and put flowers in them.
Soon everything was covered with flowers. There were still a couple cups left though. And what to do with them "We should give them to people!" Sequoia suggested, staring at the 5 empty cups.
Flora shrugged, and it was done. Five cups of bright orange african daisies were created, one of each set outside someone's room and one set on a random table in a hallway. They really made everything seem much more cheerful.
