Hawke
The Sorcerer
Declan had slept it off, the futon in the office wasn't so horrible to sleep on, besides that trip to Neverland taught him how to appreciate having a comfortable place to sleep. Sure he'd cleaned up a bit from his battle with Peter the night before, but he was now in the sauna trying to relax a bit, more so for the sore muscles. Winston had indicated where Declan was to Oriana and would have one of the brooms show her if she so wanted.
She needn't worry he was wearing swim trunks, knowing full well he had company he actually had the for thought to put them on in case she happened or needed to come into the sauna area. He was bruised and there were lacerations that weren't there before, the rib he'd cracked several weeks ago had healed mostly due to his uncle's healing spell. There wasn't a TV in this sauna, they'd removed it when it was remodeled, but they left in the stereo system, and Declan trying to see if there was more about the fire in the news turned it on after he dumped some water on the hot stones. What heard was that obnoxious DJ plugging some events going on and being full of herself, not to mention stating everything bad in town was everyone else's fault.
He hated this morning show, more so the people that had this form of arrogance, the ones that clearly thought they were superior to others, Horvath had this same sort of complex. He was more than relieved to hear that the police were simply calling it an electrical fire...but wouldn't release the identity of the body they'd found. There were bigger issues now...in form of those monsters that Horvath had let loose, not to mention Achilles being in town.
Declan had already had breakfast at the insistence of Winston, smoked salmon, eggs, and toast. He needed to make a call, so he decided to cut the sauna time short and head back up to the main floor, but not before putting on a sleeveless shirt after toweling off, he still had the towel about his head as if it were a hood when he came up the stairs and went for the main phone...he'd tell Oriana later what was going on.
"Yes, I need to make a reservation for two at the Capricorn, yes Dionysus knows me, name? It'll be under Mr. and Mrs. Robertson. That's right staying for two nights, yes luxury suite, no, no theme room or romantic room, just the business luxury. Thanks."
Dionysus' casino and resort in town was hard to get into, but when it came to dealing with Achilles and the rest of those rowdy Greeks that was the place to be, Hercules and Phil had just provided general information, it was up to Declan and Oriana to do the leg work on the rest. Besides battling those creatures, especially the gorgon sisters, would require certain items, and they needed to know where to get them. The only place that would know for sure...well he'd just made them a reservation at.
Thinking again...he pulled out his smartphone...and dialed the Hatter's number. Voicemail.
"You and I need to have a talk Hatter, you know where and when. And you know damn well who this is about."
He tossed his smartphone back on the table, before heading into the dining area, Merida wasn't due back till that evening, what Declan didn't know is if she would be alone or not.
"I see you're up, did you sleep okay?"
He wasn't being aggressive, it was concern given the nature of the night Oriana had to have experienced. He turned on the TV and was channel surfing just to see if there was something Oriana wanted to watch.
