New User Bored cause of the plague

Hi, I'm mostly here because I'm waiting out the quarantines. I've RP'd before but almost always it seems threads die since people lose interest then silently stop posting so I'm pretty much a newb even if I've started at least 5 years ago. My preferred genres are military fiction specifically, I have a fetish for armored/utility vehicles while also enjoying tactics and weaponry. My favorite armored vehicles are the CVRT family and favorite utility vehicles are the SC group's vehicles just in general but more specifically the HMT Extenda.

I do also enjoy fantasy especially ones with interesting and set magical systems, recently I finished the Magium books and "The magic in this world is too far behind" volume 8 after being trapped in my home for so long with nothing to do.

Pretty sure porn's not allowed in this site after reading the rules but I've got enough experience with writing smut at least. Mostly it was to fuck with... Ehh kind of a long story for most of them, I might tell it if I have the time later. It kinda puts me off though and I mostly wrote them as a joke.

Hey there! Welcome, welcome! It's great that you're here, but not great because it's due to the PLAGUE of doom or whatever it is people are calling it now. I haven't read any of those books, but they certainly sound great! I am not a huge military rp fan, but I am betting we've got some of those types of rp'ers around the site. Mostly after this... Not sure how to explain it it like a collective story thing. There was a writer and people voted on where they wanted the story to go or what the character should do. The website was mostly full of smut and porn but there was a decent story about an alternate WW2 universe where there were magical girls that wrecked people. The main character was just a regular British commando who lead a support squad of also normal soldiers trying to assist like young magical girls in covert ops.

It was a fairly serious story all things told and we lost a few squaddies because we were the equivalent of special forces soldiers going against superheroes, psykers and nazi cyborgs.

Anyway, the author was really cool and friendly. Us readers would also brainstorm in chat about which types of magical girls would be useful to add to our team if we could find them which was the most interesting part about the setting. By that I mean the fact that magical girls represented ideals (Bulldog/Stiff Upper lip, Triumph, Ausftieg), Legends (Lancelot, Ger (German Rune of peace), I can't remember others) or vehicles (Spitfire (Plane), Warspite (Boat), Tiger I (Tank)).

That last part was pretty much why I had such an interest in equipment since Mechanical Girls were the most practical so those were the ones we looked forward to finding the most. That and picturing teenage girls (15-17) burning people alive or discussing how magical girl Zero Kamakazi would work was an amusing way to spend time.

tl;dr An author for a WW2 Magical girl story was cool so I developed an interest in equipment.
