Cell Games Reincarnated

Based on the Cell Games from Dragon Ball Z, and borrows elements from the Xenoverse games. To follow the development for this side-story, read here! --> Pathway to Perfection.

It was another peaceful day in the Multiverse. Everyone in their respective universes were going about their business as per the norm, where it would be either entering battles, or negotiations, or even regular life, anything that is normal to them. However they would soon discover that a new threat was rising in the background…​

The one from the Dragon Ball Universe known as Perfect Cell, had been removed from his Universe by a group known as the Divine Trinity from the Skullgirls Universe, and had achieved incredible power and causing chaos in the process. Now he has immense capabilities and strengths, and now? His plan was to be set in motion.​

Utilising the Capabilities of the Trinity, Cell set out to recreate his Cell Games Tournament. Using the teleportation power of Sister Agatha, he returned once again back to Dragon Ball’s Earth and set out his plans to announce his tournament.​

"Alright. I plan on picking individuals for this grand tournament. Now, here’s who I want to bring here and what I require to put in place..."​

Hi everyone! After finally completing the side story setup for this event known as Pathway to Perfection, the main article itself can finally be created. For those that are familiar with the original Cell Games from Dragon Ball Z, it follows a similar principle. Everyone will be taken from their home Universes into the Dragon Ball Z Universe a fair long time after Cell's first defeat but a year before the arrival of Majin Buu, and will appear at the iconic location known as Kami's Lookout, or in this case, renamed to Dende's Lookout. Cell's Arena will be rebuilt and most of the cast might look different, including Gohan being an adult and Goku not being present. Every character will be put into a randomised Tournament Bracket system to battle each other simultaneously alongside the entrants of a few of the Z Fighters. The winner of the tournament will be the one who will represent everyone else against Cell. Like the Original Cell Games, this will be televised across the Earth by the announcer; Jimmy Firecracker, who was brave enough to cover the previous Cell Games and will make an appearance once more.

Hopefully if things go well, I plan on having this Side Story start in two weeks!

These mighty gloves give the chosen wearer superhuman strength (Enough to shatter mountains with one blow) and almost nigh invulnerability. The gloves cannot be removed once bonded with their host unless the host removes the weapon themselves. The user's skin is hardened by magic and cannot be penetrated by conventional weapons.

Mason can use his aura (or ki, as Dragon Ball would interpret it,) to create tpols, weapons, and connected short-range portals. However, he can't make anything that's larger than himself, and his constructs typically aren't durable.
He also has a weak sense of aura detection that requires focus for hin to use.

Mason is taken into this story at a point after his last appearance in the main event House of M. It's also at least two years later from Mason's perspective than our 1x1, Infinite Tales.​

Shiori Kujou


Kajiri Kamui Kagura

Weapons / Abilities / Powers:
Shiori's powers derive from two main things. She is a practitioner of the Kujou Koujin style and a Gudou God. The former grants her an array of supernatural fighting techniques:

Dharani Peacock King - A technique in which she manipulates her Ki and the surroundings to create a supernaturally heavy punch, blowing away any impurities of the world she comes into contact with and restoring vitality and wiping away fatigue for her allies.

Law of Puppets - A technique that allows her to create artificial limbs for herself, mostly used to replace missing limbs.

Dharani Ragaraja - By converting her love into power, Shiori generates a powerful strike that also obliterates the circulatory system on contact. Impossible to utilize in the world of the Sixth Heaven due to the concept of altruism having been annihilated, and is thus only usable as a Gudou God.

Daihou Rokaku Zenjuu Dharani - By weaving her own infinite amount of possibilities in one place, she creates a countless number of images that attack the opponent. It is an attack that possesses great power due to the sheer number of possibilities and bypasses defenses due to encompassing each one of her possibilities.

Dharani Marishiten - By utilizing her Distortion to break the rules of the world, Shiori weaves her infinite possibilities to the battlefield in a more permanent fashion. Her images all act at the same time, but she is able to select which possibilities happen. This allows her to dodge an attack so long as there is a possibility that she would have dodged it and hit as long as there was a possibility she hit. However, whenever a possibility of hers dies, it inflicts damage to her soul.

Her status as a Gudou God changes the nature of her existence, from human to her own universe. As a Gudou God, Shiori embodies her own personal cosmology, immovable by any changes to the outside world as all concepts and matter are already defined within herself through the usage of Taikyoku, that which composes all creation. However, as she is not a Hadou God, she still requires contact in order to influence the outside world. Anything she comes into contact with is then forced to operate by the concepts and rules she has enforced inside her own universe, allowing her to ignore and override the concepts, rules, and properties of others. This also grants her one more ability:

Kourou Shinmu Marishiten - The culmination of her craving to "Become the best version of herself." The expansion of infinite possibility. By expanding any single possibility of hers infinitely, Shiori becomes capable of going beyond the normal infinite possibilities. By embodying the concept of possibility itself, she can enhance her previous abilities to increase attack power, accuracy, defense and likelihood of dodging attacks by simply making those possibilities themselves infinite. This also allows her to enhance her martial arts skills with Taikyoku.​

Weapons / Abilities / Powers: Lumine knows hand to hand combat, being a former bodyguard for a young Witch named Kody. Lumine, due to being a werewolf, takes on the form of a large white wolf that is stronger and faster than the weredogs of his world.

Extra Info: He has a werepup form and can change between both werepup and werewolf yet isn't very skilled in changing.

Granblue Fantasy

Weapons / Abilities / Powers:
Sandalphon inherited an immense, divine power, and as a result... This former archangel possesses the power of the supreme primarch. Aside from his remarkable swordsmanship, he possesses a seemingly godly level of strength, even able to manifest up to four blades made of some kind of magical energy to slice away at his foes. His most remarkable attack so far is his ability to call down holy bolts of light from the sky, striking down and/or weakening his opponents. His main armament is a sword which he carries around with him, aside from the blades he manifests in battle.

As a sidenote, it is a little difficult to translate a Granblue character's feats and abilities from the game's battle system into text in a way that makes sense, and unfortunately Sandalphon's wiki page is not as helpfull as it could be sometimes, but I will work with what the source material gives me the best that I can.​
