New User Drem Yol Lok! (Greetings in the Dovah language- From Skyrim)

LadyDovahkiin

Please call me Dovah~
Hi! So I am a not new to role-playing actually. Just to this site. I started rping when I was around 11 and now 8 years later I am 19 and still loving it! However lately my muse has been terrible and my posts not very good but I am hoping to change that by joining this new site! I love fantasy medieval- can't for the life of me do the proper speech though, supernatural whether it be abilities or actual creatures, modern, romance (nothing too crazy), etc. I just love to rp!

Feel free to ask me to check our your rps if you think I make a good match!

Sincerely,

LadyDohavkiin

Welcome, LadyDovakiin, to the storytellers circle!

I happen to be running a Fantasy (pre-medieval in an original setting, so don't worry about fancy accents) about both playing as the mortals and the gods, and it's becoming an epic so we could use a few more players. It's called Ages Eternal; you can see it's advert here, and the Ages Eternal multi-thread that started the epic idea is here, in case you want to get caught up on our worlds lore, since player legacy is a big focus.

If that's not what your looking for, just look around. We have all types of RPs available.

Greetings LadyDovahkiin, and welcome to the Story Teller's Circle.

If you are looking to improve your writing, you have come to the right place. We have a tightly knitted community that is always willing to spare a few tips on how to improve. If you are curious about using certain themes or features in a roleplay but aren't sure if they will work, we have a Writer's Circle for discussing anything... well, writing related.

As for the genre, medieval fantasy is definitely not niche. Don't worry about the speech though, nobody wants to read pure old english, so just try to add a little so it sounds poetic. Don't worry about the romance getting too heated though, this site doesn't allow pornography or any sort of dedicated (or detailed) erotica. If you want extreme gore and extremely controversial elements, however, that is fair game as long as people know.

If you can settle for a low fantasy, I offer my biased suggestion to join Isthmus of Souls. Now that we are finished with our brief hiatus, we will be able to truly begin soon with more members. Or, you can look on the bulletin board to see requests for roleplays, and you can post your own once you are approved.

Speaking of approved, the quickest way to being approved is posting a few times in the main lobby (3-5 I think). This lets the staff know you are active and helps you feel comfortable with the community.

I wish you luck, if you need anything feel free to ask (or PM if you prefer).

Hi and thanks for the warm welcome! I am definitely going to check your rp out. Good to know the fancy accents aren't a requirement too! XD
