Chronicles of The Omniverse Archived The Core Systems: Ostra - Wielden Colony

"I understand, they're the kind of people that you associate with out of necessity." The relatively small male smiled softly. "They sound like my exact kinda favorite person." He winked at Stone cheekily, before popping into his mouth a delightfully well-cooked morsel of the bird that was prepared for them that he had previously been cutting. "Oof, this is delicious as it smells." He said happily.
The last response made him laugh. "I highly doubt even he could pull the wool over my eyes." He told Stone calmly.

"Understandable, I'll be brief with the two of them then." Kyo continued eating, taking a few more delicious morsels before stopping again. The idea of someone that sneaky and shifty was legitimately amusing to him, which caused him to grin. "Sounds like my kind of scoundrel." He told Stone; he could tell by the look in the giant's eyes that he was being actually more serious than one may believe, which made it even more amusing knowing he wasn't exaggerating.

Jiang looked at the little window of Leya’s house. She still called it that after a year. It was still Leya’s house. The sight of Ostra promised new adventures, new people to meet. curiously she looks down at the little creatures on the ground growing bigger and bigger. however how small they looked from up high she knew most of them as not all of them would be bigger than her. She saw some of them looking up at the light purple capsule underneath the big bright pink balloon. The sight of an unknown place excited her, but is wasn’t the same without Leya. Exploring just wasn’t that much fun with no one to share to memory’s with besides Leya’s flute.

There was however something that didn't changed in those time. As always she ran to the hole in the wall that was used to throw a rope out to bind the ship to the ground or for FTL. Without waiting for landing she threw a rope to the people below while calling out “heey can you catch this please.” Nearly she forget to use Silver tongue so they would understand her.

"I still don't get what the problem is." Tachi frowned, his brows knitting together as he watched as Domain put on the finishing touches on a made to order instant freeze potion. The look of concentration in her eyes were making him nervous. He hated when she got like this. He was pretty sure she didn't even hear a word he said. His tail flicked around behind him in irritation. Couldn't she just put the potion down?!
"Dom! Dang it! Look at me!" He hissed, his eyes narrowing into slits. Domain barely spared him a glance, her eyes locked on carefully placing the cork onto the bottle. This was a very sensitive potion, and god help her if a drop managed to escape. But Tachi didn't see it that way. If she wasn't going to put the potion down willingly then he would just have to make her. He snatched the potion smooth out her hand, looking at it with disgust.
"Now are you going to listen to me?" He sneered, glaring at her.
Domain's eyes went wide, as she carefully raised her goggles from off of her eyes.
"Tachi...!" She warned. "Put that down GENTLY!"
Tachi raised a brow at her. "Or what? This potion is perfectly safe right?" He asked.
Domain wanted to drop kick him. "Yeah, when in the right hands! Not you clumsy little paws!" She snapped, before trying to calm herself. "All I'm asking is that you put that down before you freeze us all to death!" She growled. Tachi tsked, studying the bottle in his hand.
"You mustn't be so rash Tachi." Came a low rumbling voice. Tachi glanced up in time to see Favian's large white paw take the bottle out of his hand. "This potion is very dangerous. It needs to be sealed." He explained as he handed it back over to Domain. "The customer will be here for any minute now as well. Think you can keep your temper in check until then?" He asked.
It took a few more moments but once she was done, the bottle was sealed tight, packaged, and ready for pick up. She striped herself of her protective gear and picked up the package. "Lets take this conversation to the front desk, shall we?" She asked, strutting to the front of the house and moving behind the desk as she stored her latest creation in one of the draws label 'pick up'.
"There. That's finally done." She smirked, heaving a heavy sigh, "Finally."

“thank you” Jiang called out when she saw one of the figures below running towards the rope to catched it. With Leya’s flute in one hand and a small bag with money in another. She jumped out of the vessel when it was still a around 8 feet above the ground using her wings to not crash on the ground landing on the ground just a minute earlier then the vessel did. Something Leya always disapprove off. But the thought of waiting till the vessel landed on the ground was unbearable for Jiang.

“here” the man who catches her rope said handing it over to Jiang. “Thank you again, do you know where the local posionshop is?” she asked taking over the rope and binding it to a pole. The man pointed in an direction and said something unhearable. Jiang looked in the direction the man pointed at but, all she could see where legs.She thanked the man one last time while she already walked in the direction the pointed at singing an uplifting song. The song was partially because she liked to sing and partially because people wouldn’t walk over her this way.

Soon an house appeared that looked like it could be the poison-shop and Jiang speed up her speed zigzagging between legs. Soon she came to the door of the house. Standing on her tones she just managed to reach the doorknob to open the door. "hello" She said happily while walking into the store.

Tachi's and Favian's ears perked up, twitching at the sound of a new voice. Domain too suddenly went quite, looking for the source of the new voice. "H-hello?" She called out, scanning the shop's doorway. When she finally found who had spoke, Domain had to keep from smirking. She was a tiny little thing. Domain put on her business smile will Tachi leaned up against the shelf beside her and Favian hopped up on his bed located above them.
"Welcome! How may I help you?" She asked smoothly.

Jiang looked around the room it was cozy full of stuff. She liked it. Besides a girl there were also two catlike creatures. They kind of scared the tiny girl. After a careful glance over both of them she looked up at the woman behind the counter and smiled happily. “I collect stories, songs and recipes for poisons and share them with world. Do you have some for a wandering bard.” Jiang answered to the girl in a way that it nearly sounded like she sang the words.

"Ahhhh..." Domain sighed, unable to hide her look of disappointment.
"Well, you see..." Domain began apologetically, "I'm afraid we don't just sell poison to anyone." She said, folding her arms on the counter as she leaned forward to get a better look at the girl. "Too much harm can come to innocent people if we don't do a proper check on who we are selling the poison to. And I'm afraid..." She added, "I'm not qualified to do the check. Only the owner of the shop can and he is out on a delivery for a customer." She explained. "I'm sorry."

“oh, no sorry, I understand but can you show me what kind of poisons you sell?” she asked the girl a bit disappointed.”or other things you sell?” she added to her words not willing to give up her sourche already or to wait for the owner of the shop. She really really hated waiting and who knows how long the owner would stay away. Besides it was more for the knowledge then to buy the poison anyway.

"Well..." Domain said scratching her chin as she gave Favian the look to handle this. "This big guy right here is my friend and familiar Favian." She introduced. Favian leapt down, landing softly on all fours. He slowly stud up to his full height, all 6'5 of it.
Domain smiled at him. "Go get the case. We can show her. Just don't break the seal." She warned. Favian nodded his understanding. "I understand." He answered deeply.
His deep voice was met with a favoring smile from Dom before she turned her attention back to girl in her shop.
"So while he is getting that. Mind me asking why you are looking to buy a poison recipe?"

Stone sighed as he slumped into his chair, teetering the line between sober and tipsy, his thoughts becoming hazy. He would’ve called it a night and asked Twelve to show Kyo to his room were there not other matters to discuss to one more tonight. He pushed his fingers through his hair, staining down the table, his mind wandering. “On an unrelated matter...is it true what they say, Kimura...? That you have the Cendril Heir in your little band of merchants...?” He asked, trying to fill the space.

Kyo smiled, leaning back in his chair as Stone mentioned the Cendril. A close friend of his, it amused Kyo somewhat too that Maruka was his subordinate. Perhaps in another lifetime their dynamic may have been different. "Yes, the oldest son of the Cendril is among my most trusted." The androgynous noble confessed smugly. "Why do you ask; I assume you already knew without hearsay."

@Sayasama
“Hello, I am Jiang” the little girl said leaning backwards to be able to see Favian completely rather than just his legs. The enormous length frightened the girl a bit but, she wasn’t planning on showing it. Besides her curiosity to who he was, was bigger. Appearance doesn’t always dictate if someone was dangerous or not. She learned that in her years of travel.

She watched as he walked away and then focussed back on the girl. “no not all, I am always willing to tell a story to those willing to listen and the story why I gather potions” she answered the girl looking up at her. “So are you willing to listen?” She asked after a short pause. Repeating the words Leya always used to introduce an story.

“I only ask because of what I’ve heard.” Stone said, knitting his fingers together. “After learning that he went off to the academy, he dropped off the radar for some time. Then, I hear it said that he became a battlemage and that he became your personal escort. I find it odd that someone in his position would throw away inheritance to be a servant...do you have any insight on that...?” Stone asked, vaguely curious. He had heard several things...the both young nobles were in a sort of relationship, that it was black nail, that the Cendril Family was in debt.

Kyo shook his head. "Haven't the foggiest, to be honest.. I'd have turned him down, but turning down a Hyadn, a noble at that?" Kyo shrugged. "My only guess is he had the same idea as me - that being a noble is boring and unfulfilling. Though, since I started doing this I've realized running a business isn't very fulfilling either. Maybe I need to branch out, conquer a country.." He hummed morosely to himself, a sad little tune.

Cass' simply replied, "Thanks, Ma'am!" After she was freed, the young Sli'f planned to get far away from that junkyard. However, she had no idea how to return to the village. She knew that something had transported her to this rust smelling junkyard. The smell made Cass' very uncomfortable and she wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. She yelled to the female voice, "Please hurry! It's getting cramped in here!"

Stone nodded, his eyes drooping closed. “Mm...I hear he’s quite adepte...maybe he had no heart for weapons...” Stone mused. He chuckled at Kyo’s remark, taking it jokingly. “And if that doesn’t meet your expectations? What then? A world?” He sighed, easing deeper near sleep. He fought to stay awake, checking his pocket watch quickly.

@Kiki Zapatos
"Just hold on a minute longer sweetheart!" The woman's voice called. Within a few moments the wall on one side was suddenly peeled away, revealing a crowd of a half dozen workers all looked up at Cass from the floor below. "Hop down if you can, you're safe now." The woman who owned the voice from before instructed calmly, smiling up at Cass.

"Oh believe me he has more than a heart for weapons. The man is among the best fighter's I've ever seen." Kyo told Stone, awe clear in his voice. "Why he's even settled for being my subordinate is beyond me." He added, shaking his head disapprovingly. "Hm, I think if a country wouldn't do it then I'll find someone who can rule it properly then move on and find something else to do. Even if I could conquer an already populated planet I don't think I'd feel good knowing how many people would have had to die to make it happen."

@Generik
Cass' carefully climbed out of the spacecraft. She said to the workers, "Thanks, now could anyone tell me how to get back to the village?" She looked at the women who was smiling at her. "No? Well, I need to get out of here because electrical equipment hurts me." With those words, the young Sli'f began looking for a transport portal or some other means of leaving the junkyard.

@Generik

“Is that so...?” Stone asked, scratching his chin. “You make him out to be some grand warrior...is he really all that you say he is...?” Stone asked hesitantly. It wasn’t that he couldn’t believe Kyo. As a matter of fact, in his lifetime, Stone had witnessed the power of four separate War Mages. Stone just couldn’t comprehend the usefulness of a mage when pitted against a true warrior.
