"By a difference of 6 votes, this War Council has voted in favor of my proposition. The Fellowship will go to War with the Blackheart's 'Godless' and their forces in Hell." Luthor grinned.

The Goddess Act 1, Chapter 1
Path of War--- the Hellions

With the first meeting of the Fellowship's War council at a close, the Goddess' Chosen were escorted from the Highest Council's chamber by two Goddessian Guards. The rest of the day was quiet. Uneventful. A pleasant dinner in the Temple's mess hall and a silent night in your private quarters. Plenty of time to recuperate. Plenty of time to think about what you've done.

In the early hours of the morning, the War Council was summoned once against and directed towards the Temple's star-ship hangar.
View attachment 4523
The first light of morning burned its way through the hangar's open doors. The reflective hulls of the Temple's silver star-ships and war-machines sent shimmering lights dancing across the hall. Hundreds of pilots and soldiers rushed about the hall, shielding their eyes the best they could. They were young. Fresh faced. This was to be their first taste of war.

"Councilors!" Luthor called to the Chosen from across the hangar. He stepped away from the larger warship at his side and yelled a few parting orders to the technicians at his side. With a dozen nods, his men continued to load crates of explosives into the ships' cargo bay, each one marked with the Goddessian Crest.

A tall, white haired man glided behind him, his arms joined behind his back. His eyes never met the Chosen. He was always looking past them. Always looking through them.

"You're right on time. I briefed the men a few hours ago. Our plan is already in motion. In a matter of moments, our ships will be ready to take flight. 2,000 bombers, courtesy of Nox's Empire. 5,000 volunteer star fighters. A Grand Warship or two. Needless to say, we've assembled quite the fighting force, and that's without Veranke's help. We'll crack Blackheart's prison open like an egg. The Devil won't know what hit him."

"All this talk of devils and demons..." Lex's companion sighed. The Kai's body was tense and stiff, as if he was permanently standing on ceremony. "We shouldn't stop with Blackheart. Once we've raided his prisons, we should push our advantage. We could advance into Mephisto's realm. And Hela's. And Angela's. We could purge Hell. We could eradicate the demon scum for good."

"I trust you've heard of Councilor Zamasu, Councilors. He ascended to the Highest Council shortly after the death of his Master, Gowasu, shortly after the fall of the Citadel."

"Yes. The Goddess wasn't gracious enough to resurrect all the casualties of Blackheart's attack. Nor did she grant him the dignity of a quick death... Still... I do what I can to honor the life he lived. I've taken his rank, and I wear it with the pride and dignity he was denied."

"As Goddessian and a High Council Member, Zamasu's authority is second to mine and mine alone. I trust that, in the coming battle, you'll obey his directions as if they came directly from me."

"That you for your support, Luthor..." Zamasu placed his hand over his heart and bowed ever so slightly, his expression unchanging. His eyes never met the Chosen. Not even for a moment. "I trust theses mortals have the capacity for obedience... Now... if you'd excuse me, I have a meeting with Councillor Nox. I wish to go over our strategies with him one final time."

With a squint and a heel turn, Zamasu vanished into the crowd of bustling pilots.

"You'll have to excuse him. He's... abrasive. Proud. A touch radical. But he's a hell of a fighter, and he's got 12 universes backing him. He'll be leading the air assault, so you might end up seeing some more of him.

"I've taken Big Mother's suggestions to heart; this operation isn't just a rescue mission. It'll be a morale booster. It will give our men something to fight for. Something to die for. But we can't send them off to war alone. The entirety of the Highest Council- Zamasu and myself included- will be fighting beside them on the front lines. I'm expecting the War Council to do the same.

"Our Intel tells us that Izana is being held inside one of Blackhearts most formidable fortresses, the Black-Box Prison. If we're going to get inside, we're going to need to separate our fighting force into two teams: a Ground Team, and an Air Team. The
Air Team will be in charge of escorting a fleet of Imperial bombers to the prison and blast us way in. It should be a fairly safe mission-- Those of your who cannot already fly will provided with your own star-fighters. Top of the line imperial tech. The best on the market. During this mission, the Air Team will be answering to Zamasu

"The Ground Team will be responsible for raiding the prison. You'll be working alongside Captain White and his team. Whilst you're completing your missions, my fellow Councillors and I will draw Blackheart's forces away from his fort with a series of distraction-attacks. It's up to you where you fight, but know this-- the Council, the Fellowship and, most importantly, the Goddess will be counting on you. I trust you'll fight with all you have."

After listening to what Luthor was saying, and truly processing what he had to say, Roman was, well, to put it mildly, not confident.

He didn’t know how to fly a drone, let alone an airship, so air team was off limits for him. He also wasn’t confident enough for ground work, he can just barely control his newly-given powers, so no ground team.

Roman rushed his hand through his hair and looked at Luthor, before speaking.

“I don’t know...” Roman spoke, “I can’t fly a ship or control my powers. I... I... I don’t know what to do...”

Maddie was not listening to Zamasu or anything until the options came. Air squad or ground squad. Maddie knew almost immediately what her choice was gonna be, since she can’t fly.

Ground,” Maddie blurted “legit I can’t fly and I can heal myself and other people.”

She took a suck of her pen, which she still had, and turned around, muttering under her breath, “Fuck, I can’t believe I have to help these hoes...”

The closest Silque could remember being near technology that was more advanced than her own world's was during her time in Hyrule. She wasn't confident in flying anything of this level, so after eyeing one of the ships she glanced to Luthor. She knew her choice, and knew that in the air she'd be useless as a combatant and a healer.

"I'll join the ground team, so they can have an extra healer on hand." She spoke up.

"I'll also be on ground team." Ashe spoke up. He knew he'd felt more at home that way, though he glanced to Maddie for a moment.

"Don't worry about piloting our ships- their controls are quite intuitive. Besides, many of our larger ships require tail gunners. Our ion canons are even easier to operate that our star-ships. A child could operate one."

"We'll always have work for healers. Time can be irritatingly irregular in Hell. It's hard to say how much pain Izana has had to endure during his stay. Whether he's been down there for days, weeks or months, he'll likely need a healing hand or two. It'll be good to have you on the front lines, Silque. I'll let Captain White know you're heading his way."

Once the being known as Zamasu spoke her piece, he caught the interest of CFW Magic. Someone who clearly didn't like working with those inferior to themselves was an admirable trait to someone who only served a higher power; Arfoire.

"Zamasu, was it? Hmhm. You appease my interests more than anyone else here in this ship of idiots and fools. Perhaps together we can create the utopia we desire; or at least the one I desire with the Great Arfoire walking among us~"
"You seem to not agree with most people here, thinking they cannot fight. I will show you the wraith of Arfoire alongside Magic, and destroy all in our way!"

"Great... Another one who only thinks of themselves... Just what have we gotten ourselves into..."
"I don't know, Iffy... But we must help!"
"Compa, sometimes I worry that you're too trusting."

Once the intel came in of Blackheart's fortress, the CFW's and IF/Compa made their decisions.

"We shall take flight with the Air Team."
"Arfoire shall guide us to victory!"

"Me and Compa will help the Ground Team."
"I'll keep everyone healthy and healed while you fight!"

Logical heads seemed to prevail in the end. War was looming in the distance and Big Mother was content with these turn of events. This was the only way they could deal with Blackheart in a satisfying manner.

The demoness spent her night in silent contemplation about which part of Blackhearts body she would pull off first. In the morning she joined with the others and entered the hangar to listen to what Luthor had to say.

"I will go with the Ground Team," Autopilot or not she was not going to sully herself and sit in one of those contraptions. On top of that being on the ground fighting meant it was personal. Seeing the enemies eyes go dark as they die was far more enjoyable than sitting far away pressing buttons to watch things explode.

Kolin was tired of seeing herself. In that boy, in these soldiers...every young, innocent face was a distorted mirror, one that reminded of a past before the Society. A young girl, trained to fight. Trained to kill. A girl who had died long ago, leaving someone else in her place. A survivor. Someone who swore to do whatever was necessary to bring about utopia and peace for mankind. How unfortunate that to gain peace, wars had to be waged. Lives had to be taken. Humanity truly did not deserve divine intervention. They had no idea how blessed they truly were.

"I will join the air team," she said. "I have experience with fighter planes. This shouldn't be a problem." The young girl from long ago haunted her still to this day with more than just faces. Kolin brought her hands together, fingertips rubbing callouses under gloved hands.

"I have a classmate who's always irritated at something or someone, so I can understand to a degree." He replied. Maddie did remind him a bit of Felix at least with their moods.

"Chances are you can go home once this is over." He added, though didn't want to get her hopes up too high--he didn't want to get his own hopes up either. He missed the rest of the Blue Lions and the Professor and that likely wouldn't change, but for now he'd at least do something to benefit their group somehow. Once it's all said and done there was no telling what'd happen then and given how Maddie spoke earlier he doubted she'd see a chance to go home once everything was over.

“I’m not so certain, Ashe,” Maddie says, fiddling with her earrings, “I think this’ll all be fruitless in the end, but... I have nothing else to do, and this entire thing is just so frustrating, like I did not plan to die, but, ugh...”

Maddie looked over to Ashe, before finishing taking out her earrings, placing them in her pocket because they were expensive. Her eyes fluttered back to Ashe before quickly returning in front of her. In a brief moment, you could see an uncharacteristic smile form on her face.

Eliphas spared little reaction to the final vote. As the pieces fall into place, just as Tzeentch would will it, the Inheritor's plans would come to fruition regardless of where the 'war' takes him. Eliphas spent the following night in silent communion with the Four, enrapturing himself in their distant touch. Though the Warp lay just a few universes away from wherever he was now, he could still taste the mirthful corruption on his ancient tongue, the blessed fingers caressing his mind, the good pain splitting his aged body.

Those who slept near Eliphas' quarters would have heard soft whispers in their ears. Featureless black figures standing in the corner of their eyes. They'd vanish as soon as one noticed that they were there.

When the morning summons came, the Inheritor calmly treaded into the room following the rest of his fellow 'chosen', his Crozius gingerly held over his spiked pauldrons. He cared very little for the strategy itself. To honor the Blood God with fresh skulls and feed the Rot Father's gardens with muculent decay was more enticing than ensuring a victory for the whore-goddess. Eliphas stepped forward with a heavy thud of his boots and planted his Crozius into the ground.

"The Ground Team would be a most personal option," he murmured, eliciting a low and level chuckle from himself. "May Khorne bless us with his great fury."

Oh the things that we get ourselves into in the name of the lord. Absolutely terrifying, isn’t it? Father Martin Archimbauld would admittedly have no idea how he had gotten into this situation. All this situations about goddesses and prophets and seers and otherwise. So odd, so peculiar. He wasn’t sure if he liked the talk, but the Walrider encouraged him to join these people. This was a calling he knew he had to take.

Of course, even then he didn’t like the idea of possibly having to go through military training. They had given the holy man a gun, and the man of the cloth could barely comprehend what to do with it; a weapon they would never give him in the asylum. He did, however, lean how to use it. Heaven forbid he’d have to use it often, all the same...

then there was the group of Chosen. Sounded like malarkey, if you asked him, but...again, a gentle pull leading him towards them...to offer his advice, his services. Who was he to deny god? He stepped forward, merely an old, balding man of the cloth.

“Excuse me?” He spoke as he continued moving. “I don’t suppose I could offer my services? I believe a man or the cloth is supposed to offer his services whenever possible. If there is a team that needs more members, I’d be more than willing to offer myself as a volunteer.”

@Takumi @Sark @EveryoneElse

"Well, you have someone watching your back at least, so you won't have to worry about dying any time soon. It might be optimistic to hope that everyone would get to go home once it's all over, but for now you can count on me to help keep you and everyone else alive out there." Ashe replied.

"It might not be much, but it's something, right?" He offered, with a smile. It was nice that she wasn't trying to argue with anyone else. Like the calm before a storm given the circumstances.

"Then it's decided," Luthor nodded. "Maddie, Ashe, Silque, Compa, IF, Big Mother and Eliphas will lead the ground assault. You'll arrive at the Hell Portal ahead of our other ships, inside the cargo bay of the Crusader. It's hardly a villa, but travelling in the cargo bay will allow you to vacate the ship quickly once we're planet-side. Roman, CFW Magic, CFW Brave and Kolin will provide us with some cover in the skies. You're ships will be waiting for you inside one of our other warships, the Odyssey" Luthor wrapped his cloak around himself a little tighter. He pulled his eyes away from the Goddess' chosen and vanished into the ground. "May the Goddess Bless you, Councillors. I'll see you on the other side."

Inside the Crusader, the Fellowship's largest Warship

Maddie, Ashe, Silque, Compa, IF, Big Mother, Father Martin

[VHHHHHH]

The ground team was ushered into the belly of a large pod shaped warship via its cargo bay. Upon its metallic flesh, its name had been carved: the Crusader. The doors creaked shut behind them, and, with a humming [whoosh] the ship look flight and accelerated to light speed.

"Don't get too comfortable. This won't be a long journey. The Crusader will arrive ahead of our other three warships and slip through the Devil's Portal. We'll arrive at the Netherworld and establish a camp. Blackheart's no tactician- the war will be over by Christmas..."

Every now and again, the ship would shake slightly. The kind of shake you might experience whilst riding the subway. The slight wobble might had prompted you to rest your hand against the wall for support. Some of the younger troops were unnerved by these slight bumps. Their hands drifted to the emerald prayer beads that hung from their necks and prayed under their breaths.

"She will protect us, she will keep us... she will protect us... she will keep us... she will protect--"

"No. She won't." Captain White snapped, his bitter words interrupting the rookie's prayers. "This will."

His pushed a large plasma rifle into the soldier's chest.

"Where we're going? There are no Gods. No saviors. We're on our own. We'll be saving ourselves. We'll be---"

[Chu-choom]

The shuttle shook slightly more vigilantly than it had before.

A look of concern crawled across Captain White's face.

"Captain White to the bridge, do you read me?" He spoke into his radio. A moment crawled by. No response. "Bridge, do you read me?"

Nothing but static.

"Shit..." He cursed to himself. "Bridge, do you---"

[Krackuuddd]

The warship came to a sudden stop, and the Councillors and rookies were sent stumbling to the floor.

"Dammit bridge! What's our situat--"

[Krackoooom]

An explosion tore through the read end of the ship. The vacuum of space sucked a handful of recruits from the flaming ship before the the Crusader's emergency shield could plug its wound.

Through crack in the ship's shell, the Councillors could see their destination. A flaming black whole the fabric of space. A weakness between the plains of life and death, the size of an ocean. Towers of smoke drifted from its surface. Red lighting crackled across the dark clouds the void.

A silver warships orbited the portal. An enemy ship. Smaller star-fighters circled them, swarming like flies. Unmanned ships cut through the smoke and unleashed a flurry of energy blasts towards the Crusader, wearing its shields down. Every couple of seconds, the warship's shield would stammer, and a blast or two would slip past its defenses. The ship shook under the force of the Vulture Droid's attack.

"All units come in!" White roared into radio once again, brocading casting. "The Crusader is under attack! Blackheart's has been expecting us! His allies have mobali--"

[Boom] [BOOM] [Boom] [Boom]

Eli message didn't arrive in time. The Fellowship's remaining Warships slipped out of hyperspace and arrived at the hell portal. Before their captains could react, the Godless' star-fighters were upon then. The enemy warship turned their canons towards the Crusader and locked them in place. With a roar of burning plasma, they opened fire.

The bombardment tore the shield of the
Crusader to shreds and sent beams of heat hurtling towards its heart. With a mighty [Krackoom] the crippled warship exploded, its flaming remains drifting down towards the Hell Portal.

"We've lost power. Losing altitude. Odyssey! Mercy! Duty! Come in! The Crusader is going down! We're---"

The Hangar of the Odyssey, the Fellowship's Second Largest Warship, Above the Hell Portal

The Air Team arrived just in time to watch their ally's ship come down in flames. There was nothing they could do but watch as its smoldering remains sunk into the cloud sea below them...

"Sir! We've lost the Crusader! We've lost our ground team! The Mercy is coming down too! There's nothing we can do!"

A technician called out to Councillor Zamasu, fear burning behind his eyes.

"Who else was on those ships, technician?"

"I-I-I--" The technician stammered, doing his best to understand the flashing warning lights that filled his tablet's screen. He bit his lip and composed himself. "Captain White, half the War Council, High Councillor Urien, High Councillor Nox... they're all gone..."

Zamasu froze for a moment, his cold mind breaking down the situation. His eyes thinned and he clenched his teeth.

"It's time we took our pound of flesh. With the Crusader gone, authority over the fleet falls to the Odyssey. It falls to me. We need to make the most of the situation and take out that Warship. Make them suffer for their sins. Make them bleed."
View attachment 4546
His eyes remained cold, unfeeling, despite the bitterness in his words.
"We've been betrayed. Stabbed in the back. A plan known to few outside of the Highest and War Councils has been leaked to our enemies... The slight won't go unpunished." The Kai growled, his eyes falling towards the War Council. "But we'll have plenty of time to weed out the rats and traitors once we're planet side. Get in the air. Destroy that Godless Warship. The Odyssey and our other warships will remain outside of their range until our work is done. Make them pray for forgiveness. Make them wish that they never raised their arms against the Goddess."

With a wave of his hand, Zamasu ordered for the ship's hangar doors to be opened once again. He directed the air team towards their ships, and, without another word, pointed to the see of swarming Vulture Droids outside.

"Pilots! Scramble to your ships! Purge the skies of those... mechanical abominations... Give your lives for your Goddess and bright her righteous justice raining down upon our enemies!!"

As soon as you awoke, you were thrown into a violent coughing fit. The air in hell was thick and sweet. The stench of brimstone was enough to overpower the stink of engine fuel and burning oil.

Your injuries were fairly light, considering the circumstances. Just a few concussions, broken ribs. Maybe a broken arm or two. Your skin felt... cold, somehow, despite the heat that surrounded you. Your arms felt heavy. Your body ached.

You barely had time to stumble to your feet before you heard footsteps clattering outside the wreck. A figure drifted past the now open cargo bay door. He was tall and thin. His face was wrapped up in black, leather bandages. He wore a torn blue jumpsuit over his torso.

"My God... Survivors... Unconscious... But alive..."

A few more figures appeared behind the bandaged man. They brandished a series of makeshift weapons. Crudely crafted spears. Machetes made from scrap. One placed himself in front of the bandaged man, and raised a clean, working pistol. He kept his weapon traced on one of the War Councillors.

"I don't recognize their uniforms. They're not CIA, FBI, S.H.I.E.L.D., Sword... they don't look like droids either. Looks like Blackheart has found some new recruits..."

"Or maybe they're just more casualties of war..."

"Or perhaps you could just ask nicely." Big Mother was getting rather tired by all this stuff blowing up and utter farce that seemed to be the Council and their plans. Perhaps she could file a complaint once this was all over? Or devour a few of them to prove a point. Either way, there were hostiles in front of them. She might have to devour them too.

"If you are against Blackheart. Then you are allies of us." She looked over at the poor souls and their crude weapons. "Lower your sticks and we can discuss this like adults."

@Takumi @Jeremi @York @Crunch @amwexia

"And he will find them in their time of need...he will save them from...s-save them from..." Damn it. Damn it! Why, why were her nerves frazzled so? Kolin shut her eyes tight, focusing on the passage she'd memorized. The Book of Miraha was too precious to bring here, so she had to rely on her memory to give her strength. But she had forgotten how it felt to be in the middle of this. In the middle of death and destruction and chaos and terror.

She had forgotten how it felt to be at war.

God, not even in the fray and already it was so much. But she needed to stay strong, she had to! For her society, for her emperor...for the Goddess. But having to watch her allies fall to their deaths, Big Mother, Maddie...Ashe...some of them were no more than children! How could she be so foolish? So arrogant to not think of the consequences of this? They were gone, along with White, anlong with Nox, along with--

...Wait.

"Did you say...High Counselor--" But there was no time to ask questions. No time for anything but action. Kolin scrambled to her own ship, hopping into the cockpit more professionally than she enjoyed being. It was more advanced technology than she'd been trained with, but it was still managable. Kolin took the most precious of moments to breath out a prayer before taking off into the skies. You asked for war, Kolin, and here it is. Repent for their blood by avenging it.

"Either way, we can't leave them here. Men! Grab a man and him back to the cave. We might be able to get some answers out of them yet... there are no secrets a little pain can't reveal..."

After the crash, Compa found IF underneath some wreckage, covered in bruses galore.

"Iffy!!"

Compa screamed as she rushed over and try to help her out. After a hard push of steel, she was eventually free.

"Iffy!"
"C-Compa... I don't feel so good... I'm bleeding all over..."
"Hang on! Somebody! Help! IF's gravely wounded! I can stop the bleeding but we need to get her to a hospital of some kind so I can better heal her!"

Compa shouted with an upset tone of voice as she quickly bandaged IF up and lifted her into her arms.

ROMAN

“Oh fuck” Roman muttered under his breath, “oh shit, oh fuck!”

He rushed over to one of the planes and took off, after a couple of minutes of not knowing what to do. He did end up figuring it out, like Lex said, it wasn’t hard.

MADDIE

Maddie placed her hand on her body, her light based powers healing up all of her injuries.

She quickly runs over to IF, placing a hand over her, shining a light from her hand over the injured girl, her injuries seemingly vanishing.

“You need anything, either?” Maddie speaks to Compa, her voice not really filled with concern but more of obligation.

The Wreck of the Crusader, the Fellowship's Largest Warship

The bandaged man steeped forward and pushed his companion's pistol down towards the floor.

"Do as he says, boys. We won't be needing them anyway."

"Sir---"

"But nothing. We'll negotiate with these people on equal footing. No guns. No threats. The Demons are our foes. Men are out allies. Our brothers."

"Sir, we can't just--"

"Watch your tone, Barnes. I've been doing this for decades. I know what I'm doing. We're not going turn against our brothers."

"Every the boy-scout, Summers..." Captain White muttered as he stumbled to his feet. "Even in the depths of Hell, you're still looking for the moral high-ground..."

"You..."
He thinned his eyes. "I know you, don't I?"

"You knew me, yes. It's been a while."

"How long?"

"For me? 6 years."

"6 years..." The bandaged man repeated to himself. He laughed for a moments and slowly unwrapped has faces. Beneath the fresh cuts and scrapes from close scraps with a demon or two was the face of a tired old man, not a day younger than 60. He smiled a weary smile. "Time here... It's not kind to us. Its...different. Sometimes it moves faster. Sometimes it moves slower... but 6 years..." He sighed again.

"I guess we're all men out of time..."

"Speak for yourself, Old Man..." Captain White let facade slip for a moment. The corners of his mouth curled into a subtle smile. "It's... good to see you, Scott..."

He offered the men his mechanical arm. He shook it without a moment of hesitation.

"It's good to see you too, Brat."

"It'll be good to have someone like you around, kid." Scott smiled a warm smiled as he paced the opening of the wreck, observing the damage. "Medical supplies are few and far between down here. If a wound goes septic, you're better off cutting it off and stealing a replacement from one of Mephisto's rituals. Barnes over there's wearing a stole arm. I'm using a stolen leg. Makes you wonder if we'll end up replacing all our parts before our eternity is up. I wonder what we would become then..."

Summers snapped back reality with a shake of his head and dismissed his guards.

"Explore the place, Hellions. Salvage as much as you can carry and meet me back down here in a minute. We'll head back to camp before you-know-who's hounds come sniffing."

The Hangar of the Odyssey, the Fellowship's Second Largest Warship, Above the Hell Portal

The space between the two ships was a sea smoke and shrapnel. Fragments of the Crusader still floated in the void, tombstones for the thousands of lives lost in the crash

Navigating would have been a trial in itself without the hundreds of Vulture Droids soaring about the scene. Two blue plated drones seemed to lock onto Kolin's star fighter, unleashing a flurry of red plasma bolts towards her right wing in a drive by attack. Another ship soared towards her from bellow and launched a pulsating blue missile towards the underside of her ship.

"Betrayal from the Council, and fallen allies. Hmph. We obviously couldn't leave them for a second without something occurring. Those two girls clearly couldn't handle themselves. Foolish brats."

CFW Magic exclaimed before she turned towards everyone that was apart of the Air Team, everyone, even Zamasu would notice that she began glowing a vibrant dark pink and brandishing her Scythe:

"The time has come to prove your worth. On behalf of the Deity of Sin and under new management of the Great Zamasu, we must take this fight to those wretched fools who dare deny our might!"
"By Arfoire's power and that of my great boss Magic, we shall cut them all down!"

The two then shot off out of the Hanger Bay and prepared to attack.

"These fools had best watch out. For I shall give no mercy. Perhaps Zamasu is a worthy cause to fight for~ I certainly believe he has the traits of Arfoire and then some~"
"Believe me when I tell you that the rot that thrives within the council runs deep. If we don't act, the loss of the Crusader will only be the start of troubles. The degeneration of our order is inevitable unless we can purify our ranks and rid them of... counterrevolutionaries..."

Zamasu scowled and joined his hands behind his back. He stepped from Magic and approached the hangar's edge.

"I'm sure you understand my sentiments. Certain... tumors must be removed in order to save a cancerous organ... The Demons and the Machines are only the beginning. We need to make an example of them. It's time me showed out strength..."

The kai strengthen out his palm and let his power surge forth.

"Heavenly Arrow!"

A spear of light leaped from his fingertips and burned through the void, skewering a drone or two. With an upwards flick of his wrist, the arrow changed directions and tore through two more machines.

"We sent them a message. If these machines are unable to grovel... they shall learn..."

As Roman took to the skies, he was quickly spotted by a Vulture Droid. Before he could catch up Kolin's fighter, the ship was racing towards him and a remarkable speed. Its visor-like eyes stared into his and its engine shifted into overdrive. It was prepared to destroy itself and ram Roman's ship head on.

[Roger-Roger]

Its on-board computer groaned as it fired an additional blaster bolt or two his way.

MADDIE

“Thanks, I guess...” Maddie says, muttering that last part under her breath, “I’m Maddie,”

She pulls out a random young troop, one of the ones praying with those beads, healing him up. As much as she hates being a team player, she would have to be to survive, she doesn’t really want to do anything stupid now.

ROMAN

“Oh, shit!” Roman panics.

He flips up and presses a button with a rocket on it, his panic resulting in some electricity to be zapped onto the ship.

He rushes his hands through his hair, hoping to whatever trees there are out here that he did something to destroy that droid ship.
