She looked at all three men and nodded. This would do. The fact was she thought the King was being a bit over doing it sending a Knight to investigate the reports in the south, but he insisted on her and as many guards as she could gather for it. If three was all that volunteered, three would be all she would take.
"Follow me." She ordered, turning to leave without looking to see if the others had done her bidding. Titanna was like that. If a command was given, it would be followed to the 'T', or she herself would release the punishment deemed necessary fitting for those orders to have been disobeyed. Despite having only been Knighted a short time, she had already gained the nickname "Flame-Haired Demon".
As she walked, she gave them the information on the mission. "There 'ave been reports in the South of some murders." She said. "There 'ave been way too many people goin' missin' and showin' up dead to be just one. The South's military cannot find an answer, and 'ave asked assistance from 'igh King Victor's men to seek the culprits responsible. Our order is to simply observe and gather information as best we can, and if we can bring them in ourselves, to do so." She looked over her shoulder at them. "I'm guessin' a group of bandits. Most people seem to have all their items taken when they're found.." She kept the other details to herself. The less they had to know and think their was any magic involved the better. Titanna may not necessarily believed in the folk lore of her people, but it didn't mean everyone took her side of the argument.
She led them to the stables and order the stable boy to bring four horses for her and the men. He rushed off without hesitation, but it could be heard the frantic tone in the boy's voice as he told the others. It was then she turned to the three men. "You are to be eyes and ears. We are goin' to try to keep the general population oblivious of our existence as best we can." She paused. "Any questions before I set you to get your supplies?"
