As those in Faron watch Akane grab the scale, they all suddenly felt something together: the recollection of a memory.
"Look out!"
Link's hand reaches out for Akane's collar, holding her back just in time. Your group is on its way around the Gerudo Highlands, attempting to find an alternate route into the Yiga Clan hideout. Akane had almost fallen down onto a particularly rocky plateau.
"Eh? That's awfully nice of you, Link, but it's only a few inches down..." Margreet looks over the side, confused by just how worked up Link got.
As Akane is brought back up, Link rubs the back of his neck. "Sorry about that, but this area is dangerous. You see those rocks?" He points to them. "Let's just say falling on them wakes them up, and once you do...it's not pretty."
"Shit." Dell shakes his head. "Killer rocks, killer machines, killer sludge...this world is really out to kill us."
"It's really not this bad all the time, I promise! Maybe you guys can see how nice Hyrule is before you have to go."
Dell scoffs. "Yeah, I doubt it, kid. Come on. I believe killer ninjas are next on the itinerary." He moves on, the others following him. Link sighs, but follows as well. Just a few more days of this...
The rocks begin to shake, and start to pull out of the ground. Dell quickly realized what was going on. "AKANE! GET OUT OF THERE, NOW!!! EVERYONE TELEPORT BACK UP HERE!!!"
"Hylia is a very responsive goddess," Margreet replied. "I'm sure other worlds aren't so lucky. Though being responsive doesn't mean she can actually do as much as she'd like..." As Shallot spoke to Reimu, Margreet frowned. "No need to be rude, Shallot. It's an honest question."
"Seems to be a misunderstanding." Azel commented on how Shallot responded to Reimu and admitted his possible mistake.
"No matter the god or goddess, those who have faith and follow the path of said god or goddess is bound to hopefully lead a fufilling life. Even to this day if I can't hear Mother Mila's voice I still walk thr path set out for me by helping others." Silque spoke up, throwing in her two cents.
" I am starting to suspect that it is killer everything. Akane, did you at least grab the scale before you woke up the rocks?" He asked, worrying and still trying to figure out what the best approach was and teleported to the top of the tower.
Peter arrived at the other location and noticed the end of the battle. If he got a chance, he would grab two Ancient Gears and join Margreet in prayer.

"I have to agree, Miss," Kokkoro says to Silque as she joins the rest of the group, "it's certainly fulfilling for us, despite all the rough turns we've faced, but I do not regret it."
Yuuki turns to Kokkoro with a smile as he pat her head.
"I knew my mission would be important for the world, but I never did realise how many people I would be helping alongside my Master as I accompanied him across Astrum. Humans, my fellow Elves, Beasts & even the hidden Fiends."
In the meantime, Yuuki stands beside Akane, curious about the dragon scale she held.
The gears, though old, had signs of great technological prowess. Those Guardiams were strong and well-made, if their internal machinery was anything to go by.
Enu wouldn't see anything but his own reflection, unfortunately, but Peter would hear something as he prayed. All of tgem would, in fact.
"Thank you all, dear heroes," a voice called. "My power in this kingdom grows. Margreet, I can provide you with the ability to recover a memory from someone else. Every time the Traitors attack, you have the power needed to use this ability on one person. I apologize that it is not much...but it is what I can do for you all."
"Go forth, and bring peace to Hyrule..."
And with that, the voice was gone. Her prayer done, Margreet smiled at the others.
"Let's go meet the others at the Spring of Courage! I'm sure they're already waiting for us."
---
"Oh thank God." Dell let out a sigh of relief as everyone made it safely to the Faron Tower. Even Kaito had travelled witg them, though he didn't seem all that happy.
"We could've taken 'em," Kaito muttered.
"Really?" Dell rolled his eyes. "Why don't you look down there and see what you would've taken on?"
Kaito looked down, and anyone who joined him would see a colossal stone beast retreating into the ground.
Kaito was actually taken aback. "Jeez! No wonder Link tried to warn us about those things!"
Dell looked at him, suddenly a bit nervous. "You, uh...got that memory back, huh."
"The one at Gerudo Highlands? Yeah! Why, you embarrassed because you were a dick?"
Dell groaned. "Ugh...let's move on. I'm glad to see we got that scale. Like I promised to tell you all, no, these dragons are friendly. They're more like...I don't know, spirits that took the form of dragons. They can't really speak, and they have defense mechanisms in place if you get too close. Skunks have spray, porcupines have quills, and these dragons have giant orbs of ice, electricity, amd fire."
"Hey, Dell, quick question. How DID you get that red scale, if you're a machine? Wouldn't fire melt you?"
Dell chuckled. "Margreet actually found it during her trip to Hyrule Castle a few months ago. Speaking of...let's get moving to the Spring of Courage."
---
As the two groups teleported to the final spring, they would be joined by Zelda and those still at Hateno Village.
"The Spring of Courage..." Zelda surveyed her surroundings, a somber look on her face. "I haven't been here in years. So many bad memories come back just looking at it..."
"Hopefully now, we can start making some good ones," Dell replied. "How'd the investigation go?"
"...all right, I think? We found all the clues, but couldn't make head or tails of it." Zelda sighed. "I entered the details into the Sheikah Slate, so you can all view it. Maybe we can figure this out..."
"And I know a way we can!" Margreet chimed. "I have the ability to check someone's memories to discover if they're a Traitor or not...but I can only do it once per murder. Everyone! Tonight, enter the name of who you think the culprit is, and whoever has the most votes by morning, I'll check. Thank goodness we don't need the Master Sword like last time!" Taking the scale, she walked to the Spring in order to make her final offering to Hylia.
Meanwhile, Dell turned to the group. "So, things are going to be a little different today. There are two places you'll all be staying tonight. Tarrey Town, a small community over in Akkala, and Lurelin Village, a small fishing community in Faron. As usual, you're randomly assigned a room, but you can travel from town to town until night." As before, your map would show where you stayed:

On the morning of Day Three, Jin's body was found by a windmill on the outskirts of Hateno Village. He was shot twice, with two Fire Arrows. They were perpendicular to each other, one in his right shoulder, and one in his chest. Both were pointed upward at an angle that suggests they were shot from below him. Nearby there were small grooves in the ground made by someone's heels where they paraglided towards an area full of bushes amd trees. One bush had smoothed grass behind it, as if someone had sat there to shoot, and the tops of the leaves are singed.
Thoughts (by Zelda)
- From his two arrows, I can infer that Jin was originally facing right, then turned towards the direction of the killer when shot with the first arrow. I wonder what he was looking at?
- Was there a distraction the killer had set up? Why would they need to paraglide from the windmill? It was clearly premeditated, so how did they lure Jin to the windmill in the first place?
Kaito looked at the house arrangements. "You and Margreet are staying with us this time?"
"Yep," Dell replied. "We figured it'd be better for us to stick with you all in case of another murder."
Margreet then returned, her prayer completed. "Is everyone ready? It's best we get going now, before it gets late."
(Remember, you can travel to either town, and don't have to stay in either one! Don't forget to vote for who you think killed Jin!)
Lee continued to shoot burning arrows at the goblins, who failed to notice him. They squealed and screeched, the noise fading until not one sound could be heard. "Well, that was easy...as usual." He got up, ready to loot the camp, when he noticed he wasn't alone. "Who's there?! Show yourself!" A burning arrow was aimed directly at Jin and Mantis.

As all proceeded, the Murder case went through the minds of Yuuki & Kokkoro.
"I have to wonder how Jin was lured," Kokkoro adds, "here is what I believe - there were two individuals involved. One was in charge of luring, the other had the Fire Arrows. Many had fire arrows, but perhaps the one who lured him may have more specific traits - individuals he trusted."
Yuuki shakes his head in response.
"Hmmm... maybe it's individuals he trusts or have no reason to doubt. A bit wider than I thought. Master, I will go to your living quarters in the Evening so that we can hold discussions. I will see if I can bring others along."
Reimu came back from her little adventure rather amazed. Sure, What Shallot said was somewhat true, she didn’t have respect for anyone, but she didn’t mean it as being rude. But what shocked most of all, was that Margreet received a gift from the goddess herself. Maybe the gods were just too busy, because they seemed to listen to their prayers.
Reimu read the map and then saw the clues. So they did get some investigation done, good.
She turned over to Kokkoro and Yukki. “That’s possible, I guess. So using process of elimination, we can determine the killer had fire arrows, which won’t help since most of us have them..So someone Jin trusted. Who did he trust, In that case then?”
She wasn’t prepared to place her vote yet, If Reimu voted wrong, that traitor could kill again, and maybe it’ll be her in Jin’s place. @Yun Lee@Crow

"Well, Lady Reimu, for starters, there is my Master himself," Kokkoro turns to Yuuki as he nods, "and- Lady Reimu, once we reach the village, please do accompany me to my Master's quarters in Lurelin Inn later. I believe any further discussion regarding this sensitive topic is best held there, as opposed to an area with everyone. I will share with you the information you request when the time comes."
Kokkoro then looks over to Nogi Wakaba.
"Lady Wakaba, might you be interested in joining us in discussions regarding this case? A few more mouths and ears would be appreciated in the meeting, but not too many."
Having been once told that she can't keep secrets well, It would be best Reimu spoke in private. But then... "I'm sorry, I can't. I can't be sure you're not a traitor, and kill me in secret. But you're right. Too many people keeping a scecret, one is bound to tell."
It may be paranoid of her, since Reimu did know Kokorro well compared to all the others. But then again, Her master was someone Jin trusted, and thus a candidate. Not to mention, her memory was bad, but didn't she hear that Jin was with Yuuki at the time, and that there were two accomplices? She was conflicted, espsically since the murderer had fire arrows, which neither had. She then sighed and looked up at her. She made her choice.
. "Yeah, sorry, No. I'm planning to do some fishing at the village though, so if you want us to do some fishing together, that'll be fine with me." @Crow@Yun Lee
"I understand, Lady Reimu. It is indeed a difficult time for many things - trust and secrets included," Kokkoro adds, "enjoy your fishing trip, Lady Reimu. If I have spare time afterwards, I will join you."

If somebody who didn't start off with them is the killer, then using fire arrows could easily make it harder for us to find the real killer because so many of us have fire arrows. Do you know if anyone bought arrows at the Curious Quiver?"

"Hmm... that would make sense. Someone Jin thought he could trust. What about someone disguised as someone he didn't mistrust? Perhaps the attacker could have been disguised as one of the villagers. Has any locals gone missing or found in an odd situation?" 47 suggested
"Something is bothering me about those arrows. Back in Kakariko, there was a shop where you could buy fire arrows. If somebody who didn't start off with them is the killer, then using fire arrows could easily make it harder for us to find the real killer because so many of us have fire arrows. Do you know if anyone bought arrows at the Curious Quiver?"
Lurelin Village is located on a beautiful beach, with the turquoise waters leading out to the nearby oceans. Though small, it felt like a tightknit community, with those there working together to cook whatever fish had been caught that day. If you were in the mood for seafood, now was the perfect time to indulge-there were crabs and snails all along the sand, not to mention all the fish there, too!
General Store: A general store selling some fish and other maritime animals, and also some interesting monster parts.
Gambling Hut: A small hut with Rupee signs where you could try your luck against the odds! Who knows? You might end up very rich!
The Dock: There's a little raft on a dock, similar to the one used earlier in the West Group on Day One. Perhaps talking to the village elder Rozel could get him to lend it to you for treasure hunting?
---
Tarrey Town is unique in that you have to paraglide down to it, as the nearest Shrine is on the cliffs above. There's also a Fairy Fountain you can see, if you glance to your right. As you arrive, you see this little community is built on a small island with a long bridge connecting it to the mainland. Although small, the houses here are large and very well built. What's most exciting is that there aren't just Hylians here; at least one member of every race in Hyrule has a shop they run.
Fyson's Store: A little shop run by a Rito, this place sells any arrows you could possibly want. It also sells Ancient Gears, if you wanna buy one.
Pelison's Store: Pelison is a tiny Goron selling gemstones his brother finds. Anyone familiar with Luminous Stones from the East Group would see some ore deposits below the island glowing, too...though it may not be all that safe, going there.
Rhondson's Store: Rhondson, a Gerudo woman, is selling some handmade clothes from her hometown. Pretty, but probably pricey, too.
Grante: Grante is a young Sheikah man who sells clothes, as well. They're probably in the same price range as Rhondson.
The Inn: Kapson, an old Zora, runs this place. You can get food here that doesn't have special effects.

Shallot and Akuma both knew they didn't have to stay in Tarrey Town, but they felt it much easier to see it and visit it the entire day before bedtime, so they both teleported to the shrine on the cliff and paraglided down to the town.
Shallot decided to walk into Fyson's store, while Akuma walked into Rhondson's Store.

"We should ask the shopkeeper if anyone bought them. Hmm... if you can give me a chance, I could try to get my way back there." 47 then said.

Akane took out her Shiekah Slate and warped to Lurelin Village. As she arrived at the nearby shrine, she heard her stomach growl. She had a great hunger approaching. She wanted more than what the inn at Tarrey Town could provide, and decided to head over to the Dock to fish for herself. Even if she couldn't catch fish, perhaps she could fish up some treasure to sell in exchange for food.
View attachment 2899 "Hey, old-timer, mind letting me borrow this boat of yours?" Akane asked Rozel.
"A guest from beyond? Mantis, the sooner you stop being so cryptic, the sooner-" Lee stopped, lowering his weapon slowly as he realized who stood before him. "...Jin? What are you doing here?"
The sound of explosion held Jin captive for a few moments as he winced, unconsciously touching the place where the fires had marked him earlier on his arms as he winced. After a moment though, he collected himself with a sigh and bowed slightly to Lee out of politeness, speaking with a tired tone, "Trouble with the group, Lee-san. I will explain more when everyone is together at the camp, but suffice to say, our fight is not over."
