Necessary materials? What on Earth could it mean by that?

Finding himself lightly perplexed by the strange little statue (some sort of mechanism or computer?) that could talk, Guy held his chin in contemplation, trying to make sense of what sort of materials it was referring to, before directing his attention to the woman over at the bookshelf, raising a hand over at her.

"Excuse me, miss! Terribly sorry to bother you, but might you know what this statue is for? Or even what sort of use I could make of from this..." He inquired curiously, speaking with a polite tone of voice.

As they headed Northwest, Zelda looked around the forest. "I've always found this place fascinating. The magic they use to transport you wherever the want if you wander too far in...it's inexplicable! I'd love to study it more..." She sighed. "Knowing me, though...I'd just get lost forever."

"Woah! Wait for me!" Margreet rushed to keep up with Azel, as a few more Keese flew at them. One got a bit too close, and Margreet had to block it with her shield, costing it a use. But thankfully, they were able to reach a corner of the path, where they seemed to be free of enemies...for now, at least.

"Whew! That was scary! Though the Keese here in Hyrule are weak, they're incredibly annoying..." Margreet seemed unaware of the fact that they were still holding hands...

"Woah!" Efi looked around the shed, picking up the essays and reading them. "Dell's done an awful lot of research, huh? I don't blame him; I would have done the same! ...had I not been on the island, of course."

The statue glowed blue, and spoke in a cheerful robotic voice. "Beep beep! Hey there, FamiliarNameMissing! Insert necessary materials. Receive weaponry."

The slime would be destroyed, but as with Jin, eould temporarily paralyze Peter through direct contact with it.

Meanwhile, those headed to the shrine would see the cyclops begin making its way towards those at the pedestal.

Linkle went into a fighting stance as she clutched the wound with her other hand. "Bad wolf! Bad wolf! I thought we were going to be friends!"

The woman turned to Guy and smiled.

"Why yes, that's the Ancient Oven. It crafts Ancient Weapons when you give it Guardian parts. Screws, Springs, Gears...it'll make weapons from those, no problem."

"Huh? When did you guys get here?" Dell looked up from his conversation, noticing the arrivals. "Oh, shit, that's right. I told the others to wait outside..." He excused himself and went outside. "Hey! Silque? Efi? Where are you guys?"

No weapons? No problem. As the wolf charged Linkle used its own momentum to her advantage to try and first kick it in its jaw and then follow up with a kick to its got to push it away.

He exclaimed, fishing out two Ancient Gears from his satchel from when he helped Akane, Akuma, and some others fight against a Guardian. He'd practically forgotten he even had these at all, but it looked like they came in handy after all!

"Let's see what I get out of this then," Guy wondered, offering the items up to the statue.

Wakaba put down the essay she was reading. It was interesting, but didn't appear to be immediately helpful. Not one to steal, she simply left it when she heard a call. The weapons, however, seemed like they could possibly be useful. If anyone preferred spears, or a...chainsaw? Regardless, she took both before heading towards the others who'd called them.

"Sorry, didn't mean to go too fast. Are you okay?" Azel asked.

Guy would receive a strange arrow.

"Ah, an Ancient Arrow," the woman said. "Careful with it; whatever you shoot it at vanishes without a trace...unless it's a Guardian. Then you just need to shoot it in the eye."

As the three arrived from the shed, Dell led them into the house. The strange little man now was ready to address them.

"Yes, yes! Welcome to my lab, everyone! We didn't have the pleasure of meeting last time, so allow me to introduce myself now! I am the lead Guardian researcher and director of the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab. Doctooooor... Robbie!" He did a dramatic pose as he said his name, pointing upward.

"...yeah. We can't really chat right now, Robbie, we're in a bit of a hurry."

"Hmph! So ungrateful! To think we let you stay in our lab all year, only to push us aside for...uh... What is it you needed again?"

Dell seemed to be doing everything he could to stay patient. "The flare. We need the flare for tomorrow."

"Oh! Right! Sorry, we can't do it!"

"...why."

"Well, I have everything but a Giant Ancient Core. Don't know where I could pick one of those up on short notice..."

Dell let out a very long sigh. "...Tobin Wetlands. The place is a Guardian junkyard. We can probably find one if we avoid the Guardian down there." Dell looked around the group. "That is, if you guys want to come along."

"We need to keep moving, but I'll keep an eye out for anything. Are there wolves in these forests or something?"

"It didn't bother me, just surprised me, so no need to apologize on your end." Azel responded. Nodding to Margreet with slight embarrassment, he continued walking along with her.

[Crow]

Up on the nearby hill, there were blue goblins and giant electric slime monsters. "Jin! Wait for me!!" Brook rushed up the hill, sword at the ready. "I want to get out of here! You get that orb onto the pedestal, I'll hold them off!" Turning his head to the side, he muttered, "Far better than fighting that giant..." He started fighting with the goblins, while one slime went towards the Peters and the other towards Jin!

Meanwhile, down below, the cyclops made a large swing at the ground, hoping to knock into the group. "Everyone! Hurry, get to the shrine!!"

Jin's attack would defeat the slime, yes, but its electric charge gave him a powerful shock. He would be incapacitated for a moment, unable to move.

The other slime, meanwhile, chose the younger Peter, and lunged at him!

Kokkoro, after using her spear to make a skewer of Goblin bodies, uses the sharp tip to stab the slime aiming for the younger Peter. She would then proceed to swing her spear around, tossing the monster bodies onto other monsters that were attempting to strike.

"Kokkoro, protect Jin! I will take the orb while he cannot!"

Yuuki was ready to slice any opposition as he ran up the hill to grab the prize.
