"Lovely, lovely, now, enough chitchat, I have a dinner to attend to," Pure Pummelgum laughs as he prepares to allow his Planet Burst to collide with Pomada's.

"The actual Majin Buu may possess power, but his ancient nature causes him to lag behind in true evolution," Pure Pummelgum mocks, "allow me to show you the true and only pinnacle of the Majin race!"

Pure Pummelgum exerts effort as he pushes upon the energy ball...

"Hey, I don't appreciate you talking about your elders like that. That's rude, you know? I'm not rude, I'm a realist. Yeah, that's it, I'm gonna kick my own butt somehow! You'll have to fight my mind first."

"Fight it, Ben! You can't let the evil of Purification take control!" Pomada screamed as she proceeded to apply more power to her Planet Burst to push the other one back somewhat. "I won't lose!!"

Asuha used her lance's blunt end to hit his vital points and the back of the neck swiftly and strongly to make the wavering yet durable Kid Trunks unconscious.

"This match has been decided," Asuha says, bowing to her unconscious opponent in respect, "thank you for the battle. I look forward to our rematch in future."

Her seniors watched from the audience.

"Did she just-"

"-that's our girl."

"She did it!"

Mari embraced Itsuki & Fuuran tightly.

"I knew I could believe in her, but she'll have to face her next opponent soon, and you know how these tournaments work."

"Don't need to get too technical, Itsuki. She did it, simple as that."

Cell proceeded to approach Asuha with a smile and a smirk.

Barda slapped the ki blast away in mid air. "Do you need your master to hold your hand?" Barda shouted at Gohan. "Come at me and show me what you are really made of!"

"I don't need my teacher to help me in battle! YAAAAAAAHHHH!!" Gohan exclaimed as he now exhibited huge power as he too became a Super Saiyan:

ImpassionedScentedEland-mobile.jpg

"I'm not going to go easy. Prepare yourself." Gohan state as he proceeded to go for an attack himself, boost dashing towards Big Barda and then right as he would be a few feet away, he'd immediately fly up and around for a kick to the back!

"Oh no you don't! Oh yes I do!"

Pure Pummelgum stuck his hand into his head. With a tinge and jolt, he shook his head.

"Curse Yooouaaaa! It was a good thing this Purified form had a brain of its own- woah!"

Purified Pummelgum saw that Pomada's tug-of-war was winning due to the time spent with dealing with his evil voice, so he decided to exert more energy. As each of them pushed for it, the giant combined Planet Burst would begin to inch towards both of them, ready to singe them both as soon as they touched it.

"It's OK, Pomada, I'm in control... for now."

Asuha seemed a bit frightened by Cell.

HdlwDyD.jpg

"Thank you... Mr Cell... I'm planning to do my best."

She carries the unconscious Trunks to the audience area and places him on a seat.

"Good work, Asuha!"

"You showed him, Asuha."

"Congratulations on your first round victory. Since you're here, it's best to watch the various fights. Any of them could be your next opponent."

"This is going to be one second round," Asuha's eyes widened as she gazed upon the field of fighters throwing heavy attacks at each other. "So many different techniques, skills & abilities, and to find a way to counter them all?"

"You could just ram them if you can't think of anything."

It was easy for Beowulf to lift his swords up from his attack, and as Will began to punch his back, he merely laughed, bringing his left arm behind him to whack her with the flat end of his sword. "Thanks, kid. I was needin' a back massage!"

Eliza grunted as Specter Knight's kick landed, sending her forward, though she was quick to compose herself. "Tricky little devil, aren't you?" Eliza used her Staff of Ra to block the scythe, though she did need to pull her face away from a slicing blade before then...by pulling her skin back to expose the skeleton underneath.

"Have some payback!" Eliza's foot would jut out, taking the form of a blood cobra from hip down, as she attempted to kick him away.

@CrunchyCHEEZIT

"Ah. . .so that is how you work. . ."
Specter Knight mused as he watched Eliza's skin separate itself from her very own skeleton, as if it had a mind of it's own. The Specter Scythe clattered against the Staff of Ra and bounced back a bit, before swiftly soaring over Eliza's head and returning itself to Specter Knight's hands once more.

The knight spun the scythe in the downward arc in time for the wide blade to block the blood cobra shooting towards him, but the force of the kick still knocked him back with a hiss. Now that there was some range between them once more, Specter Knight let his scythe float from his hands and hover behind him as reached out both of his clawed gauntlets to conjure another attack in each palm - two bright pink-green globules of energy began to take shape within the reaper's palms, inflating into blobs about the size of large bowling balls.

"AAAAAAAAAAH!"

365

A trio of screaming faces manifested beneath the green membrane of the two Bounding Souls, loudly shrieking in agitation as Specter Knight leaped upwards and slammed the projectiles into the floor beside himself. The souls turned out to very bouncy - they rebounded off the surface of the floor like bouncy balls and homed in on Eliza from her left and right flanks.

But that wasn't all - as soon as the two Bounding Souls were cast off towards Eliza, Specter Knight hovered close to the ground and formed another channel of dark energy within the ground in front of himself. As he clenched his fist, the ground cracked open and a Skeletal Sentry suddenly scrabbled forth from the unholy depths, its eye sockets glowing with a baleful light.

*BAMBAMBAM!*

The undead servant locked on to Eliza's position like clockwork, planting itself into the ground and unleashing a trio of flaming projectiles directly at her.

The challenge had been presented to her - two bouncy soul projectiles were coming at her from her left and right sides, and three magic missiles were flying at her from the front. Specter Knight crossed his arms and watched to see if the decadent woman could overcome his techniques.

As a Maria loaded her weapon and fired, Mason's thoughts raced. His thoughts were as follows:

View attachment 3143
"Rad-away? What's Rad-away? Does it get rid of being hip and cool?"

"What's that weapon she's loading? Looks like her 'best shot' is an RPG."

"Wait... that missile looks a lot more like an atomic bomb than a rocket propelled grenade."

"High school science, Mason. Rad... Rad... Radiation..."

"She wouldn't that's crazy..."

"That's an atomic bomb, isn't it? That isn't explosives inside that thing, that's radiation. And radiation is pretty bad for anyone who is still human... which is a lot of people in this tournament."

"Don't let that ball hit the ground, Mason. Whatever you do, it can't hit the ground."

"It's already flying, MOVE YOUR DAMN MUSCLES!"

In the last instant before the mini-nuke impacted against his face, Mason threw up a portal. The horizontal portal from before disappeared, and instead this newly made portal connected to its pair. Mason watched as it flew through the air beyond the other portal. It wasn't a direct hit, as Maria had already dodged out of the way. However, as both he and Maria knew that a direct hit wasn't necessary.

"Damn it, that's still gonna explode!"

Mason braced himself for the explosion to come.

@Donder172
The moment the mini-nuke hits the ground, it explodes with a mushroom cloud. Though not as powerful as the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, both would more than likely be caught in the blast radious. Maria grunts as her armor takes a lot of the damage, but not all of it. She did feel the heat coming from the weapon as well as the damage it does to her. After the explosion, she heard her ears ring for a moment before she heard that so familiar ticking sound. Her geiger counter was ticking, indicating radiation. A radious of 150 yards was now iradiated, though not for too long due to decay.
(OOC note: it sounds somewhat like that, but not the same amount of ticking per second all the way)

Well that was one way to open up a fight. Normally most wouldn't throw their weapon at the first second, so there's got to be a catch to this now. Tightening his grip on his axe, a sudden increase in electricity surged throughout the weapon. Charged up within seconds, Kintoki returned the favor by throwing his axe as well, aiming right at Kratos' thrown Leviathan Axe.

Jak eyed the arena and turned toward Daxter and frowned "Stay out of this, Dax. I don't want you to get hurt."

Daxter frowned, "Come on, Jak.. I can fight too."

Jak turned "Dax you know you'd have to fight alone, right?"

Daxter looked at the other matches "Them? *gulps* Fine. I'll stay out here, GO JAK!"

Jak frowned, looking for his opponent in the arena "So I guess they are ... late?"

The knight only stood there as Lumine charged forwards. His attitude was totally something she could get behind, but of course, she didn't plan on losing any time soon. Besides, he was right in front of her.

tumblr_inline_ow164xjksv1s4qpfd_100.jpg

❝ You're pretty damn open! ❞ Mordred grinned as she took a step forward, swinging her sword upwards in a vertical motion. Given that he's jumped up in front of her, she saw all the reasons to take advantage of this.

@Takumi

Lumine knew that, and quickly tried to twist his body away so that any damage done by Mordred's sword wouldn't be too bad. His shirt got ripped in the process, and there was a shock from the minor cut. Flinching, Lumine quickly hopped back once he landed on his feet and took a second to recover while there was some distance between them.

He would have to improvise, since Mordred was in armor and her sword would pose a bit of a problem.

@Gummi Bunnies

"Right then," Saitama nodded, stepping up to bat across from Lukas as the stage was set. Still remaining completely slouched in his position, as though not even bothering to get into any specialized position befitting a hand to hand fighter.

"Let's get this show on the road. I'll let you make the first move, so show me what you can do," he said, allowing Lukas to show off what he could do.

@Takumi

"Very well." Lukas nodded, knowing what Saitama was capable of from what he had seen with Janemba and Broly days ago. He knew that this could end in an interesting battle on his part, or in a lot of pain in less than a minute. Either way, he'd at least try to hold out. So, brandishing his lance, he'd charge forward, thrusting his lance in a powerful strike.

Mason hid behind his portal, which took most of the blast for him. However, even the portals had their limits on the damage they could take. They disappeared during the explosion.

Once the smoke cleared, Mason struggled to his feet. He kept his weight focused on his left leg. His right was still in pain from Maria's rifle. He scowled, both at the pain and his opponent.

"Maria, are you fucking crazy? Nuclear weapons. There are other people at these games! What, do you have enough rad-away for the entire audience? You can't just throw nukes at people!"

"Sure, some people can survive it. I'm glad I gave you so much of a fight that you had to use your strongest weapon. That doesn't mean you should! Hell, for all we know, radiation makes Cell stronger while we all get to enjoy a nice bowl of cancer."

"You're strong. I get that. You're reckless. So am I sometimes. However, even if you're strong enough to beat Cell, I'm not gonna let you be the one to do it. We don't need to nuke the whole damn planet just to take care of this Cell guy."

"I may be dumb. I may not have honor. I may be a hypocrite."

"But the adrenaline is kicking in, and I'm still gonna fight!"

The aura that created his weapons surrounded Mason as he spoke. The anger in his heart and the adrenaline in his veins appeared to keep his powers going past their normal limits. Mason's emotions appeared tied to his powers, and plenty of emotions laid bottled up inside. Mason knew that Maria didn't deserve all the criticism he was throwing at her, but his body was still willing to fight, even though it was running on fumes.

Mason held out his hand, and in it a sword appeared from his aura. He charged towards Maria, but his stride was hindered. His run was slow, as the wounds in his right leg hindered his strength. If he could get close, he would slash at her with his sword.

"I don't have enough mini-nukes to nuke the world. I know I come from a world which was already nuked yet there are still a lot left. And those were only small ones. Also, the concept of this kind of fighting is new to me. And I survived worse doses of radiation. Even once that should have outright kill me. And I hardly doubt it will help him, unless he's a ghoul. He's too ugly for that." Maria said, remembering the end of Project Purity as she grabbed what seems to be an improvised needle and injected it into herself. Letting out a relieved sigh before she put her Fatman away. By this time, Mason made a sword appear. When he charged, Maria grabbed her own sword. She knew that sword fighting was not her good point, but she had confident that her power armor would help her fighting Mason. She used her own blade to block it, proceeding by attempting to bodyslam against Mason with her right shoulder. Her attack seems like she was less affected by the pain than at first.

Mason stumbled backwards from the force of her bodyslam. He managed to keep his footing, but the pain continued to gnaw at his side and leg.

"Mid-fight healing? Some kinda serum in that needle? I suppose I'm gonna have to pull the same trick."

Mason kept up the swordplay, continuing to swing with the sword in his left hand. His right hand held tightly onto his locket.

"Gimme a big one, if you can spare it," he whispered, though his words weren't directed at Maria this time.

The necklace responded by glowing with a soft blue light. Those watching could see the wounds in Mason's leg slowly closing. Mason looked re-energized, and continued with more aggression in his assault. However, Maria would find her own wounds healing slightly from within her power armor.

Any spectators who decided, against better judgement, to stay near the edge of the ring could feel a little more spring in their step as well.

"Stimpack." Maria said as she pressed on the attack against Mason. While she only used one, Maria tried to take the advantage her power armor should give over her opponent as it helped her with strength. If only she had a sledgehammer like the super mutants used. Too bad she couldn't borrow Fawke's hammer. But oh well, she could manage. And even if this wasn't enough, she always had a plan c and d.
However, she found herself more on the defense and surprised to feel that it wasn't just the stimpack healing her. It certainly surprised her. She wasn't sure what caused it. After a moment, she did figure out. It was the amulet. But with it, Mason made a fatal mistake by healing his opponent. It spared her the use of Psycho or Med X. After a moment, she tries to disengage and get distance before drawing her alien blaster to open fire on Mason. Holding it in her right hand while holding Jingwei's shocksword in the other.

"Is that so?"

With a smile, Cole casually lifted his right hand, conjuring an electromagnetic force field in front of him that took the gunfire.

"Ah, ah, ah, where's my other hand?" He gave Aigis a wave with his left hand. "Still got a free hand. What else you got?"

Aigis would brace herself, the gatling gun retracting. "Orgia mode, activate!" Athena would reappear behind her. "AKASHA ARTS!" She shouted. Her Persona would go in for two quick hits against Cole.

Itsuki summoned her rod so that she could conjure a barrier to protect the audience from the radiation of Maria & Mason's fight, then dematerialising it.

"Nuclear radiation was the last thing I expected from anything, really," Itsuki adds, tipping her glasses. "I cannot think of anything Asuha has in her arsenal that can counter it."

"That Clarent must be some sword. That dog guy's gonna need some luck to get through this one."

"I'm not sure if I can think of a strategy for the caped baldy. What's with his stance? Maybe he's prone to underestimating his opponents."

"He did deal with Janemba with ease. He has reason for underestimation, but maybe not too much, or he'll end up using it against himself. His strength is strength itself, but his more laidback mannerisms might imply that he is always looking around. I just know you'll find a way, Asuha."

"I'm sure that's what he's telling himself too."

"Who can blame him, or anyone here? Competition's competition, plain and simple. Everyone's either outsmarting or overpowering towards their victory."

Many courses of action ran through Saitama's head like electric impulses in his brain as he simply stood there, completely vulnerable to Lukas's charge for all intents and purposes. And then...

Tink.

When Lukas's lance made contact with... something, it wasn't fragile, squishy flesh that he had hit. No, it felt more like a metal or brick wall, unable to even make a dent. It was then that one could see what had happened; Saitama had only lifted his index finger, as though having caught the entire blade in his finger. From here, the yellow-clad hero had a myriad of options, the simplest being to deal with him the same way he would any other villain, but... Well, honestly, he'd feel pretty bad. He didn't want to actually hurt this guy that much, even if that defeated the whole purpose of being in a tournament, but...

Well, whatever. May as well give a show while he was here.

With just his index finger, Saitama pushed Lukas back with enough power to knock him several feet, not moving a step from his previous position.

Cerin Cornine

Cerin knew that just because everything was going his way, that did not mean that things were going to continue to go his way. He would be a fool to let his guard down in a battle. Yes, he had caught his opponent off-guard, but that was only for now. It was a temporary thing. He had temporarily made the match harder for Cole, but he doubted that the meta was done with his tricks. Yes, he may have died from that, but he had battled phoenixes and people who could regenerate. Just because you knocked someone down did not mean that they couldn't get back up. If he was playing chess, he had gotten Cole into check, but there were still moves left before he hit checkmate.

There was one step and then there was another one.

He took a deep breath and he had learned that sometimes you had to make sure that things were done before you let go. Even in the world was perfect and Cole had died when he had shot him first, he would not count his blessings. He knew that murder was wrong and he also knew what he was. He knew that he was a sociopath. He had taken every internet quiz things and watched all the lists. He knew he exhibited all the symptoms.

It was funny that he knew what he was, but that didn't mean he wanted to get better. He was fine just as he was and he had killed people who had disagreed. He hadn't been above getting rid of people who dared to question him. But the question remained. If he knew he what he was, then was there anything to stop him? Probably not. He had been playing with others emotions for so long that he hadn't even thought what it meant to do it. He stopped thinking of the consequences of what he did. It was only when you were dying that you truly lived and living life on the edge was always his motive. He knew that killing Cole couldn't be this easy. Nothing was this easy. The easier a task the seem, the more it seemed to turn sideways. It wasn't that the world was out to get it because he was bad. The world was out to get out because he was someone who knew to be caught. What was the name that the heroes had used for him in circles about making people do what he wanted? Shadow Manipulator... it was a fitting name because they couldn't see the bigger picture of how he wasn't always the bad guy. Maybe he had a god complex, he couldn't tell.

Sometimes the path to glory was paved in blood or something like that.

He just had to wait for him to die. Each second that had ticked by made the situation worse. Each one had a moment of doubt that made him wonder if he had made the rest choice. Everyone would see him as a killer, a murderer, a traitor. Of course, maybe he could lie, but then again, why should he bother? Lying was beneath him and sometimes the raw truth was better. He looked over to see that there was some fog that was gathering and he knew that meant something was coming, Cerin Cornine was no idiotic moron.

There was a flicker. He knew that it was over, no matter how much he wanted it to be.

One illusion was not something he had expected, but he doubted that it stopped at one. If it was stopping at one, then it was a godsend, but he doubted that it was just one.

Another followed by more and more. It just kept coming and it didn't stop coming. He hadn't expected them to stop coming. He knew that his battle wasn't over and he knew that he would need to be quick about what he did next. He needed to be efficient and he needed to be smart. If he was stupid then things could end poorly.\

There it was, there was his next battle.

There it was. He had expected something stupid, so an illusion of a man was something that he had expected. It was true that he had hoped that the battle was over, but as said before, Cerin Cornine was no fool. He could pretend to be one, like he could pretend to be good, but neither of those two things were true. He was not a good man and he was not a fool. He knew that a new heart just meant a new thing to kill. He had been broken a long time ago.

If you asked him for a moment where he had broken, he would probably site multiple incidents, but it also stemmed back to one key moment. The moment he had found that Daniel Cornine had did the thing he wanted to do. The minute that he found out that the oldest brother had killed the woman who had abandoned him. Do you know what made it worse? His other brothers had each other, but he was alone.

" You know, I have heard many men that it would take a lot more to kill them and I had killed them each and every time, sometimes you think you are immortal, but you are anything but that though."

Cerin was not a fool and he had noticed that there was fog. The fact that he had used fog against someone who could manipulate the elements was dumb to him, but he would let him play his trick. He would let him believe that he was fooled, but he had been anything but. There was a reason he had spoken, it was to give the illusion of Cole knowing where he was. He had his doppelganger in the area away from the air, but he had been there, holding his breath and baiting his time. He knew that the fog mostly hide a broken boy and if he had to guess, he would be in the exact spot where he left him. He knew this and also knew that he liked to play his game and make him think he was being cocky and smug.

It was funny, but he had already chosen two ways as Cerin did something insane. He did a flip in mid air and in the same style that an action movie star would do the shot, he shot twice, but it was how he positioned the bullets that had been ingenious. He shot one towards where Cole might be, well more particularly where his head might be and the other was for the glowing form, a head shot as well. He also did one full emotional manipulation poking and prodding thoughts of death. It was the best time to poke weakness and to get him to not think. If he realized what he was doing, he would be out, but he had done a second thing with the flip. He had made it look like his doppelganger was going in for a shot to the head with just a punch. It was funny, but it would have to do as a distraction.

Void Stiles

The Nogitsune had to admit that he hadn't expect a life from the senator, but he knew that it was best to not underestimate your opponent. Who was to tell what he was truly up too and he was smart enough to know that he wasn't going to be stupid about everything that was happening. He was happy that he had managed to do something that rarely happened. But he also knew that he was getting stronger with each second. It was funny that unknown that between Cole and Cerin, both were feeding his super speed and strength. The more chaos, strife and pain that was going on around him, the more he could feed on them. It was a treasure trove for him of misery and he was loving every minute of it. He was silently laughing to himself that none of them had considered that he fed off of more then just pain. The Mason kid assumed that pain was the only thing that fueled him, but the more crazy he made things, the more everything was going to get for him. It was funny, but everyone was helping him, be them knowing or not.

The Nogitsune could get angry, but he had been manipulating people for a thousand years, he wasn't going to fall for the same tricks that he had used for the whole time. It would be stupid of him to think of him as anything more than a kid and for once, he had thought about the face under the bandage form. He thought of the fact that underneath the monster's face laid the face of a man who he had taken everything from. He had to grin and he also had to prove Steven Armstrong wrong. It was a matter of principle after all and he hadn't thought about the fact before he slowly let the bandages fall. The Nogitsunes rarely chose the face underneath, he knew that he had seen him once and he hadn't expected what he saw, but then again, why not show the man underneath the bandages? He did have nothing to lose.

"Lemme start a round of applause for Harry Hou-fucking-dini. You're one step away from Harry Who-fucking-cares, son, but you're little magic tricks amusing at least. You gonna try pulling a bandage out of that mask o' yours?" He made a slow round of applause, each shoe tapping the concrete in a metronomic fashion. He let his nanomachines even out his pulse and lower his adrenaline levels, almost fully leaving his offensive mode and restoring the facade of the friendly State Representative. He needed to his opponent into a false sense of security to fully draw out what he was capable off; he had underestimated him once and let himself be made a fool of. He had no intention of repeating such a mistake. Letting his nanomachines stir and pace beneath his skin like soldiers in a barrack, ready for war. Should they need to, they could rush to arms in a heartbeat, turning his skin to steel again the moment they preempted an attack. His own early warning system was in play. Now all he had to do what wait and see what Nuke the Monster deployed...

The Nogitsune didn't respond, deciding instead to change the illusion around them to a forest full of trees. It seemed that he sat in the center of it when he finished leaning on a tree stump. It was weird to recreate the nexus of all the power in Beacon Hills, the place where all of the evil was kept at bay, the place where the first Stiles Stilinski and his friends opened a door to a world full of creatures that would be attracted to a beacon. Little did they know what they had done until it was much too late for them to change their course of action. He could easily punch him again, but instead, he decided to do what he did best when it came to everything. Give riddles to which the answers were true to the situation and that would surely drive the man a little bit nuts. Drag out the time until it was nothing but one punch to kill him. He doubted it would take too long with everything that everyone else was fighting. It would just take one death to let the pain change his powers and make them better. What could possibly be taking so long? He took a deep breath for a moment.

" Oh, you see, that was just a game for me. Actually, this is all just a game for me to be honest. You see, I love messing with people, but I'm not much of a fighter. Have you ever heard a good riddle? Well, I'll let you get a punch if you can answer the riddle and then maybe I'll attack back. I haven't decided yet. As for the riddle, It's shorter than the rest, but when you're happy, you raise it up like it's the best. What is it?"
He asked, leaning against the tree as he waited for him to answer. He could dodge him all night long while he waited for the answer.

Mason didn't plan for the distance between the two of them to last for long. Seeing her draw another weapon, he decided to match. In his right hand appeared a weapon that looked exactly like her alien blaster. Unfortunately for Mason, it was only a mimicry. Mason's blaster fired bullets no differently than the rifle he had earlier, but he wasn't about to learn what kind of ammunition Maria's blaster fired.

He tool aim at Maria's right hand, hoping to fire the weapon right out of her grip, before closing the distance and swinging his sword.

Gully felt Shiro's goldy power through each blow. Surley, a lesser fighter would have crumbled by now. But no. Aramus did not raise some pathetic whelp to take his place. He was a legendary warrior of justice, and as it turned out, the apple did not fall far from the tree.

To be more specific, Gully could do the impossible with her gloves. Ancient relics blessed upon humanity by The Gods. Nobody knew their true power, which was half of the reason why Gully was a bit of a target. Blocking Shiori's strikes was no easy task, but the tiny titan withstood her blows nonetheless.

As Shiori came in with her final blow, Gully actually managed to catch the punch, showing the woman that she was more than a child with mighty weapons. The two were now deadlocked, Gully arcing her arm back to fire off a devestating punch in the hopes of striking her enemy.

"Very well then. Let's get started for real!"

"...Heh."

Shiori smirked as her punch was caught, stopped dead in its tracks as the younger girl found the right timing with the strength to back it up. The other girls that she knew tended to be the types that meddled with spells or non-combat specialties. It wasn't often that she met a girl who was the brute force type, much less one so young. Electing not to move, she took Gully's return fire head on.

And didn't budge an inch.

No matter the amount of power in the young girl's fist, it was meaningless against Shiori. Attacks that flattened entire mountain ranges couldn't bypass a Gudou God's defenses. But even still, as a martial artist it generally made much more sense to dodge attacks rather than take them head on, if for nothing else than pride. So then why had she chosen to take that punch? The answer was simple, to punish her own hypocrisy. Forcing her caught arm back, Shiori returned fire with a punch of her own.

"As you wish."

Finally deviating from such basic methods, she unleashed a bit more of her power. Though she struck forward with only one fist, multiple possibilities gathered at her target's location. A fist attacked from behind. Above. Below. Left. Right. A single punch surrounded Gully from all sides, aiming to get around her guard through sheer numbers!

"It's OK, Pomada, I'm in control... for now."

"We need to get rid of this blast, it's too big... That evil version of you amplified it!" Pomada exclaimed as she tried her best to keep it contained but it was just getting closer and closer. "Cell!" "Hmm?" "How have you not noticed this blast about to destroy the Earth?!" "Why should I care about that? Destroying this boring rock was my goal from the very beginning." "Then why not do it yourself? If you really want this tournament to be an end to Earth, why would you let some evil possession do it for you? Don't you want the personal glory?" "Hmph. You know, you're right about that. Fine. But this is the only time I interfere." Cell exclaimed as he proceeded to fire a Perfect Kamehameha Wave towards the giant blast in order to push it into space! "Woah... You really did have a power boost..." "Hm hmm. That should be a demonstration~ Now resume your battle. You wouldn't want to disappoint me, right?"

"Back to our regularly-scheduled programme!"

Purified Pummelgum laughs as he rushes forward to exchange stretchy, elastic punches and kicks with Pomada. While the evil personality was resting, he still had his aggression and urge to fight, since he still held the Purified body.

"Now that's more like it! Ohohoho!"

"Fight it, Ben! You can't let the evil of Purification take control!" Pomada screamed as she proceeded to apply more power to her Planet Burst to push the other one back somewhat. "I won't lose!!"

Cell proceeded to approach Asuha with a smile and a smirk.

"Congratulations on your first victory. I commend you for your strength and crushing of such an opponent. For now, you shall be with your friends and co while the other fights progress. Hm hmm. You've impressed me, girl. I truly wish to see your strength more~"

"I don't need my teacher to help me in battle! YAAAAAAAHHHH!!" Gohan exclaimed as he now exhibited huge power as he too became a Super Saiyan:

"I'm not going to go easy. Prepare yourself." Gohan state as he proceeded to go for an attack himself, boost dashing towards Big Barda and then right as he would be a few feet away, he'd immediately fly up and around for a kick to the back!

@Jeremi

The kick connected sending Barda sliding over the ground. Sloppy, she had let her guard down against him. She got back up to face her opponent wiping away the dirt from her face. "Speed isn't everything you know." This time Barda went on the offensive trying to get two punches into Gohan's stomach before slamming her elbow down on his neck.

As Maria notice the weapon of Mason, she quickly brought her other arm up, somewhat at eye height. What Mason more than likely wasn't aware of, was that Maria activated the Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System and targetted her. Silently praying that the Mysterious Stranger would somehow appear to her aid as he has before. She notices that Mason's chest had a lower chance of being hit than her limbs. This shouldn't be like that. She placed three shots towards his right arm, one to his left and two to his right leg. Once accepted, she opened fire. But because she wasn't able to dodge his attacks, some did hit her but didn't disarm her. Though for Mason, it seemed that Maria had an increased rate of fire.
