Ben slapped the Omnitrix down, initiating a transformation.



His body turned a bit more muscular as he was veiled in orange fur, all this in a mere second. In a flash of green light, Ben Tennyson was there no more.

"Graurgh..."

The feral-looking beast that took Ben's place seemed to be incapable of human speech, or more accurately, any easy-to-translate spoken language. The beast used its heavily-enhanced senses to detect the heat signatures and scents of anyone aside from the team.

"What the..." Dante was quite surprised that Ben turned into... that. "And this one does not know basic English. Wonderful. Well, I guess go scout out the area, big guy."

The beast briefly turned its head in Dante's direction, let out a soft growl, then proceeded with what it was initially doing, implying that it could 'see' despite lacking eyes.

Whatever the case maybe continuing on into the alleyway they'd get to a fork in the road. The way that they'd had to go was however blocked by debris. "Anyone here know how we can get rid of that quickly and quietly?"

The Prophet was lagging behind a bit and eventually caught up to Team Wayne, only to find their path blocked by debris. He chuckled in response to Bruce's question.

"It is done..."

Without warning, a Null Zone suddenly opened up below the debris, which would cause it to gradually melt and disintegrate into the abyss known as the Void. It would close soon after.

"In due course... the Void shall consume all..." He said to nobody in particular.​

"Sneaking seemed to get the majority." He responded before turning towards Felix. "You're free to follow us, unless you want to walk aimlessly through the city." Not caring if Felix followed them or not Bruce would direct the group into one of the alleys.

There didn't seem to be anything or anyone in the area. "So far luck has been on our side, but you'll never know when that's going to change."

Without warning, a Null Zone suddenly opened up below the debris, which would cause it to gradually melt and disintegrate into the abyss known as the Void.

"In due course... the Void shall consume all..." He said to nobody in particular.​

Jotaro arrived on the scene, staring down at the pond of ducks. He could go on a thinking streak regarding Aquawomans abilities, but the lack of a sixth duck caught his attention, as well. It wasn't anything that would prompt concern at first, but then. . .

He then turned towards Felix and shot him a grin. "Since you're so much in favour of charging in there, how about you do some recon on what we're against over there. What weapons their packing, their numbers, vantage points, etc etc."

Then he turned towards Ben. "That Upgrade alien of yours. Do you reckon you could mold yourself into creating cover? Give us more to hide behind if they end up spraying us with bullets?"

Then he turned towards Malzahar. "Hey um... Can your Void Powers create barriers? Like, bullet-proof barriers? We could use that to make sure we don't take unneeded hits."

"Meanwhile I will provide firing support with my two faithful pistols; Ebony and Ivory." He exclaimed as he pulled them out.

"With my Devil Trigger on top of this as well, I can ensure we have adequate firing support while tanking a lot of damage."

I'll be back with some information on what we're up against over there." And like that, Dante ran off towards the area, jumping upwards to get some high ground and disappeared from sight.

The sign indicated that they were in Little Italy, yet another suburb in Gotham City. It looked as bad as the rest of the city had and no other people seemed to be around. Even so suddenly the car alarm of a nearby vehicle started blaring on the other side of the street. "That's not good..." Bruce really didn't want any unwanted attention in a pretty open area like this.

Dante immediately reacted to the sound of a car alarm, and got into a defensive stance with his two pistols; Ebony and Ivory. "Gunslinger Style." He exclaimed as he got ready to fire at anything that would attack them.

The people investigating the car found nothing odd about it. However it wouldn't take long before the alarms in the cars around the area started a deafening cacophony of noise. Right now the entire city of Gotham knew something was afoot. "What's causing all of this noise?!" Bruce looked around when he spotted a feather on the ground. He picked it up and looked over it. "Oh no..." He started to frantically look around when he looked up to the rooftops. That's where he saw it.

A man dressed in an owl outfit looked down at the group. "It's a Talon...how far does Bane's powers reach?!" It was quite clear for the group that Bruce was not happy to see this Talon person looking over them.​

"Shit!!!" Harper shouted as Aquawoman was pulled under the water by some unknown entity. Without a moment's hesitation, the punk ran over to the water and knelt down, trying to see if she could see Aquawoman or at least whatever did this.

What felt like an eternity but what had probably been only a few seconds something shot out from the water and landed on the ground hard enough to create a crater. They could hear what seemed to be a woman groaning, but it was quite clear from the silhouette that it was someone or something larger than Aquawoman. "Uhn...I just wanted to be left alone." The figure said as it got up to its feet.

"Bye dragging me under and trying to strangle me?" Aquawoman had now emerged from the water and with trident poised at the figure. "You show it in a very unlikely way." As the figure got up the group had a clearer look of what she looked like.

"I was just defending myself! Who goes swimming in a pond in the middle of the night anyway?!" What appeared to be a large humanoid orca. Not something you'd see every day.

"Then I should ask what a killer whale is doing in a city park in the murkiest water I have had the displeasure to submerge in. Are you not far away from the ocean?"

"The name's Orca!" She responded back. "And I'm here because if I left the city Bane would find me and...j-just forget about it okay and leave me alone! I haven't hurt anyone!"​

The people investigating the car found nothing odd about it. However it wouldn't take long before the alarms in the cars around the area started a deafening cacophony of noise. Right now the entire city of Gotham knew something was afoot. "What's causing all of this noise?!" Bruce looked around when he spotted a feather on the ground. He picked it up and looked over it. "Oh no..." He started to frantically look around when he looked up to the rooftops. That's where he saw it.

A man dressed in an owl outfit looked down at the group. "It's a Talon...how far does Bane's powers reach?!" It was quite clear for the group that Bruce was not happy to see this Talon person looking over them.​

Then he turned towards Malzahar. "Hey um... Can your Void Powers create barriers? Like, bullet-proof barriers? We could use that to make sure we don't take unneeded hits."

"With my Devil Trigger on top of this as well, I can ensure we have adequate firing support while tanking a lot of damage."

It seemed that someone was finally interested in learning more about the power of the Void. The Prophet smiled before demonstrating Void Shift.
