Eva
The young sorceress waited, happily chatting away with Anna. She was glad to have found a friend in the other girl having bonded with her very quickly after the tournament together. When Anna looked around Eva, a slight shift in her expression alerted her to Nito's appearance, without even turning to see who it was. She gave the well dressed wind sorceress a brief hug before turning to her boyfriend.
From the corner of her eye she'd see Anna slip away to find her date--Heinrich of all people, though Eva wasn't 100% sure it was supposed to be a date. Eva's eyes lit up at Nito's appearance. Dressed in the complimentary navy blue suit, he was more handsome than she'd ever seen him. Her smile was bright and shining as she kissed his cheek then took his arm and they walked together into the dance, pausing for their picture with Eva tucked delicately under his arm.
Once inside she was caught up in the excitement of the decorations, the swirling marble floor, and how dressed up everyone was. Still, in the back of her mind was the nagging remind of where they would be going later that evening. For the most part, though, she could ignore it to instead focus on the wonderful night that lay ahead.
She never noticed the redhead following a few paces behind.
Natalia
The Russian let another couple pass between her and Nito before she followed inside, breezing past the photographer who wanted to stop and take her photo. Instead, she edged in behind a rather awkward looking couple and managed to spot the shiny silver of Eva's dress. The whole ensemble made her snort. Nito, of course, looks perfect while that witch is dressed like the true skank that she is.
Natalia had managed to grab a cup of punch on the way and now the drink inside began to bubble: a low boil. Frowning, she'll put it back on the table and meander through the other students, always keeping an eye on the discoball that was holding Nito's hand, laughing at something he was saying...
Meghan
She was beginning to wonder if Vivian was actually going to show up at all when Meghan finally caught sight of her roommate. She looks.... stunning. There is no other word to describe her date's appearance and Meghan was really beginning to regret her decision to wear converse to the dance.
As Vivian approached, Meghan would fluff out her skirts nervously and then shyly offer her hand to the other girl as they walked into the dance, pausing for their picture, which would come out with Meghan looking up at Vivian.
Blake
"I don't know, man." Sammy was saying when Blake heard his name. Tuning out the rest of the conversation when he caught sight of Kenlei and... Charlie. Holy crap.
"Uhh, see you later." He said to the guys he'd been chatting with. His best friends had arrived and they were both looking fantastic. He jogged over to them, coming to a stand behind and between them so he could offer them each an arm. His usual goofy, charismatic smile was in place but he was almost... shy as he took in the appearance of both girls and announced that they both looked incredibly gorgeous and then offered Charlie his condolences at the torture she must have gone through at Kenlei's hands.
She was not to be left out, though! Because Blake had his sympathies for what Kenlie must have gone through to actually get a brush near Charlie's hair.
To the camera man, they'd go! Blake making them hold up the line so they could do a reglar picture and a picture that was more suited to their personalities.\
Sophie
She wanted to dance! But she was nervous, shy not not quite ready so she dragged her friends over to the punch table. As they neared one bowl that was magically serving the empty cups, she wrinkled her nose. That punch smelled... well, like her Uncle Robby on most holidays.
She opted to skip the punch that someone had apparently spiked and moved further down the table where there was a bright pink liquid that smelled like fruit. She'd grab a cup and then turn to eye the rest of the students. "Everyone looks so great!" She was practically gushing, but she didn't really care.
