"Oh, no; no need to apologize!" Takara insisted, shaking her head. "Like you said, we're all feeling that way. Nothing to beat yourself up for, right?" Gosh though, the florist was definitely feeling out of her element right now. She did her best work with tending to flowers, not people. But... it was obvious that the people around her were all suffering greatly. She had to try.
Clearing her throat, Takara looked around the group, doing her best to do some brainstorming. Several among them had fallen into silence, seeming totally despondent. How could she engage them? What was something they could talk about that wasn't all of this? Just as she came up with an idea for a question that wouldn't threaten bringing up bad memories(hopefully), Lucinia spoke up, making her lose her train of thought entirely. Jeez. How had she failed to notice just how young some of these patients were until now?
"...Ah, right," she mumbled after a pause, snapping out of her stupor. "Clark and Hagusa are right. Nobody'll blame you if you want to head back to your room. This 'therapy' seems to have come pretty far from being therapeutic," she mused, awkwardly. "In fact, if anyone else is feeling the same way, it's okay if you want to leave. Everyone copes in different ways, so if you need to step away for some breathing room, I get it. Or if talking, or just sitting with company helps more... we can keep doing that, too!" She herself had honestly wanted to go back to her room the minute things had gotten so loud in the initial therapy meeting, but after the chaos with Elijah, she felt obligated to stay. And besides... helping others made her feel good. So, truthfully, this really was helpful to her, too. A win-win situation. But could it really be called that with how high tensions were? And, speaking of...
Takara herself had never married. She couldn't claim to know what love was, not really; not the romantic kind, at least. Sure, she'd been flirted with plenty of times before, had gone on a date or three or five in the past, but it never seemed to work out. It never felt like those that expressed interest in her really cared. There was this energy about them, this undeniable feeling that she was more an object of temporary entertainment for those people rather than someone they truly wanted to be with forever and always. So she closed herself off on that front, simply dodging around advances when they came and focusing instead on her business and her family.
She couldn't claim to understand what was going on between Sylvia and Isaac. But she could feel it.
It shouldn't have been hard to ignore the situation. She'd been spending a good amount of this time doing what she could to ignore Elijah despite feeling slightly bad for doing so, so surely it wouldn't be difficult to give the couple some privacy as well. But inside, Takara couldn't help but feel a wealth of sympathy for Sylvia. She remembered when she had come to in the hospital after her crash, and how overwhelmingly desperate she'd been to see her sister in that moment. To make sure she was there and okay. It had been a passion that consumed her, driving her to insanity outright as she struggled to confirm whether or not the person she cared most for in the world was even alive anymore. She knew what it was like to be afraid of having lost everything... and the relief you felt when you discover you hadn't. What she couldn't imagine was how painful it must be, to be given your most precious person back, but without recollection of who they'd been.
...She wondered if that was how Fumika had felt when Takara began parading around calling herself "Tatsumaki".
Shaking her head to rid herself of the onslaught of dreary thoughts, Takara steeled her resolve and mentally smacked herself. She had given herself a job, and she would stick to it. She was sure Sylvia and Isaac could work things out in time; she needed to keep concentrated on not letting these people in front of her slip further into a mental prison of their own making. "So, is there anything you guys like to do in your free time? I obviously haven't been able to for quite some time now, but back home, I really loved to garden. I actually had my own business called Fabled Flora," she explained. It was odd for someone who looked as small and young as she did to speak so casually of owning their own business, but she didn't seem to think anything of it. Mostly because she was way older than people usually mistook her for. "Puerile name, I know. But my little sister was so hopelessly into storytelling growing up... I thought it was a nice gesture, making the title something we both enjoy."
