Slode grinned at the two heads nuzzling his palm, happy to be accepted by the wily creature. Creatures? It certainly seemed that it was infact two different minds, as they snapped and snarled at each other over which head got to be pat by which hand.
Watching the right head envelop the left in a plume of gas, followed quickly by a retaliatory strike in the form of sparks flying into the eye’s of the right from the left, he was struck by inspiration. “I think i’m gonna call you two Snap,” he points to the left head, “and Snarl.” He points to the right, hoping to forestall any sort of argument.
At this the dragons shared a look with each other and, seemingly deciding that they liked the names, immediately used their tail to swipe Slode’s legs from under him, a deep chortle running through their frame as the man hit the ground.
Groaning a little out of the pain in his leg, Slode stood again. “Very funny you two. Now you get to carry me while we search for a friend.” He tells them, leaning on the body of the dragon who, out of mild shame from injuring their new Rider, aid Slode in continuing into the forest.
