The jewel of Abaddon to some, this tavern is the most popular place for when you're looking to just get a cool drink. It also serves as an inn, tended by the innkeeper Yuki, providing a warm bed and decent food to any who have the coin. By day it is frequented by travelers wanting meals to fill their bellies, young adults on first dates, or friends out for lunch; but by night it fills with drunken brawls and the the sound of shattering glass mugs. It is also a popular place for bards.

Aside from all of that, there is a brothel located further inside, where one can take a woman or man to bed for a night. A circulation of drugs also seems to be common amongst the many of those who frequent the TT. The set drinking age is 16, considering the rather loose morals of the city itself. And the prices are fairly low, since the owner, Casden, typically caters to those of lower-middle class. Though not a refined casino, gambling also seems to be a recurrent event in the tavern's fine wooden walls. Perhaps you're betting for copper, or silver, or diamonds... Or even for your life.

A sign posted above the bar reads thus:
Room - One Night - 34 Coppers.
Wine - Per Glass - 16 Coppers.
Mead - Per Glass - 10 Coppers.
Ale - Per Glass - 8 Coppers.
Cider - Per Glass - 5 Coppers.
Water is without charge. Free refills for patrons on Fridays.

Meal prices vary.

-- The Hot Springs -- (credit to RyunaSiege)

Out the back of the tavern a porch continued out before narrowing into a raised walked way to the hot springs. A small building stood at the end of the walkway with a dark blue sloping tiled roof top and sliding rice paper doors with images of flowers and steam raising up from them. Around the pathway, building and the springs themselves all sorts of flowers grew and flourished adding a peaceful feeling to the quaint place.
Once through the sliding doors one found themselves greeted by an attendant who explained how the hot springs worked and asked for the token that was given out by the hostess of the inn or the owner of the tavern. The token was a small piece of wood with a red ribbon attached to it at the top a red camellia was painted on the one side with a white one on the other. It was around three inches by two inches.

After accepting the token the attendant would hand you a key with a number on it. The number matched a locker number. Inside the locker were a few things that one might need a towel to cover themselves till in the spring and another to dry off with. Across the room was a set of showers for rinsing off before getting into the hot spring which was through another set of screens. After passing through those sliding doors one found themselves on a porch with a set of two stairs that lead down into the naturally formed hot spring. Around it was a planked fence that added with the bushes that grew just on the otherside of them provided quite a bit of privacy from the outside world.

It had been an hour since The Two Talismans Tavern had opened its doors, and for what reason other than this special occasion? Though normally the bar wasn't alive so early, Casden took it upon himself to do just that. It was a day for spirits and recreation, and he had just the alcohol for that. Either he was going to get a lot of customers, or barely any customers as everyone would be outside perusing through stalls and having fun with their families. Still, there were around 3 people in here already: An old drunken man with an eyepatch who was currently asleep on the counter, and two young women sitting across from each other at a table and talking. Looking around at the stillness of the tavern, Casden simply smiled and set to cleaning and wiping down some beer jugs in the back. It would be best to get everything prepared in advance. From out the windows, he could see that the events were still being set up. Only a bit more time until then.

He glanced around the room once more, wondering if Yuki had arrived yet. His other bartenders and helpers were going to need to come soon as well.

The overall joyful nature of the festivities had started early for the demoness known as Yuki. She had been up tending to her flowers and other things about the hot spring before making sure all those that had checked in were fully paid and up to date. Her long black hair was twisted up into a very decorated bun. Pins made from ice draped in strands of crystals decorated the bun and held it in place. Her kimono was a lovely pale pink with red camellias stitched into the hem and sleeves that danced at her sides as she hurried about the inn her platform sandals clipping all the way.

As she passed the doorway to the bar of the tavern she paused and glanced in as the sound of someone walking around greeted her. Stepping in she glanced about with her large pale grey eyes, “Oh you’re here!” She chimed at Casden.

In the back of the Two Talismans bar sat a rather strange sight. A young tan boy wearing nothing but dirty pale rags and surrounding him was a rather large assortment of Beer mugs, his eyes were Red and sunken in he put his hands over his ear as the music and the sounds parades from the Festival clearly did not sit well with him. With a sudden and quick motion he slammed his fist on the table splintering it he said "Give me another Beer before I take it myself!" Strangely enough, when this small child yelled nearly everyone in the bar winced in fear.

Casden dried off the dishes he was washing, setting them down on the counter in the back. One of the chefs that arrived took the duties from him and he thanked them, coming back up to the front of the bar. One of his bartenders was looking extremely frightened and displeased with the seeming 'kid' sitting at one of the stools up front and yelling at the top of his lungs. Letting out a sigh, Casden approached and whispered something to the disheveled young man, letting him walk away from the bar and to the back where the kitchen was. "Whether you take it yourself or not, you still gotta pay for it." The man stated, reaching to the liquor bottles behind the counter and pouring him another mug of beer. "Now don't pound the table like that, Wroth. Here." Saying that, he slipped the foamy mug across the table to the daemon and set his hands at his sides, putting on a smile. "I wouldn't drink too much, you'll have one hell of a hangover tomorrow."

The sound of the front door opening startled Casden and he glanced up, spotting Yuki entering the tavern. "I practically live here at this point," Responded the Talis with a chuckle, poking around at the bottles that lined the shelves behind him. "You're here early, that's good. Make sure to get the beds ready for the inn and check the hot springs to see if they're clean. There are a lot of travelers in Abaddon today, so we'll be seeing a lot of rooms rented. Heck, might even have to build more..." The red-haired man mumbled to himself, stroking his chin as he thought. Turning around with a smile, he nodded to her. "On your own time of course, Yuki. No rush."

The youkai huffed at the human as she made her way in. He was the only one that could damper her cheerful nature to where she was level, “What do you think I do? I don’t need any where as much sleep as you,” She informed likely for the hundredth time not that it ever changed the way they interacted every morning. It was as if they were waiting for one of them to drop or something.

She glanced at Wroth and gave a cheerful smile to him, “Wroth~! You should come to the hot spring soon! It’s quiet about this time of day,” She informed the drunkard.

Wroth Grumbled as he guzzled down the foamy goodness. "So you can steal my coin bag? No thanks, and by the way if you tired you'd lose one your arms! Maybe Two. Depends on how drunk I am." He slammed the mug on the table. pulling his seat back and stumbling when his feet made contact with the ground.

"Stupid fucking kid! Always running off after he tells me that my stalker is behind me." Wroth just talking his mind now that he's been blitzed. "Here." Put a large bag of coins on the table clearly giving too much but in such a state he could not tell. "Choke on them you Red headed chuck shit." He than stumbled out of the bar after kicking off the door to the exit/entrance he than wandered towards the direction of the Sanctuary but not before Scream out in a voice that didn't sound human int he slightest and more like a wild animal learning how to talk. "WERE ARE YOU, YOU LITTLE GJHBSJBS!!"

"Fuck...", Dareth mumbled as he woke up. This needed to stop. Talis warned him about getting shitfaced and sleeping on the table. He stretched slowly and touched his purse, just to make sure it's still there. "I really should start showing some restraint while drinking.", he said groggily just to realize that nobody's listening. He had lute on him, but he didn't feel like playing or singing. "Talis, be a pal and get me something stiff, won't ya?" It sounded almost desperate. Dareth hated festivities. He remembered the evening his father left the city. It has seemed so lively and colorful.
Damn, he thought, I can't be like this. There are drinks to be downed and songs to be sung. "The drink, Talis, the drink!", he said while observing the red haired bartender.

There were some loud noises off outside. Some yelling and the sound of concert cracking. A Shody figure stood tall in the doorway, the small body of a 12-year-old with sunken in eyes... That were now glowing red and smoking like hot fires, a growl of pure furry escaped his lips, the patrons expecting the Daemon to Shrek at the top of his lungs started to cover their ears. but what came out wasn't loud burning wrath, but a cold threat.

"Give me my 55 gold coins back. Right. Fucking. Now." his voice was strangely calm despite his face showing anything but. Everyone was on edge.

For fucks sake, can't a guy get wasted without his life being threatened?, Dareth asked himself. He knew the answer. Of course not. He turned around to see a kid... But no ordinary kid. This is a beast, he realized. Before he even realized, he stepped away from the bar, closer to the kid. What the fuck am I doing with my life? "Hey you.", he said to the beast, strangely tranquil. He knew this could go very wrong very quick. "You're Wroth, right?", he asked with a smile. He has red eyes, just like me. And the hunger as well. He couldn't relate to this person, but he felt weirdly compelled to talk to him. "What's the problem, Wroth?"

Strangely enough wither it be from the tranquil tone of the man's voice or being so flabbergasted that someone that wasn't an envoy walking up to him while he's almost frothing at the mouth. "yes." he said his posture being more relaxed despite the harsh, gruff tone he used. "Who the fuck are you and why are you walking towards me with those eyes? It's creepy step back a few paces." The patrons couldn't believe it, that someone was actually talking Wroth down.

The very daemon she had waved bye to not long ago returned. She blinked surprised at him at his overwhelming rage. Oh the angry short. She adored and hated their irk as much as one of her nature could. She had been accused of stealing many times over but never had she actually been the one to do the stealing. The youkai had little need to do such an act. Her charms were normally enough to get her whatever she pleased.

Those icy eyes landed on the male as she shuffled over to him, “What was that?~” She asked in that overtly cheerful tone of hers. It was something that annoyed many who had the buttons to be pushed by it while others found it amusing to find a such thing as a cheerful daemon. She covered her mouth slightly with the left sleeve of her kimono. Her eyes seemed a little larger as she crouched a little before the smaller person.

It wasn’t odd to find beings shorter than herself but this daemon was odd in his constant rage and demanding fits. If he didn’t calm down she might but turn him into a popsicle for the amusement of it all and leave in out of the street for the amusement of others as well. Her gaze danced to Dareth with a blink of surprise. How well could this turn out for the the two drunks.

"Nice to meet you, Wroth. My name's Gareth. Gareth the Bard.", he said with a small smile. I'm not dead yet. Good. I have to be careful. It was somehow obvious to him that he didn't stand a chance. Even though he had no magical talent whatsoever, he felt the potent magical presence. "I'm sorry if I seem creepy. I'm just curious, that's all. So, what's this about, Wroth? Seems like you have a dispute." He was genuinely curious at this point. There was something about this kid. While he did not step back, he stopped walking. Now he caught a glance from Yuki. He felt somehow chastised. He had a soft spot for the girl.

Wroth just snorted as he said without hesitation. "I left all my money in this Tavern! 55 gold coins! i want them back!" He said but than quickly holding his head as if in pain. "Ooo my head. i knew i should have stopped after 42."

"Yuki, be a darling and go fetch either Talis or the money, wouldn't you?", he said, his voice suddenly colder. Now he gets it. This kid's a killer. Normally he wouldn't mind, Abaddon is riddled with such people, but a drunk fool is a dangerous one. But then he remembered how he acted when younger. Always drunk with a hunger for a fight. His voice got warmer again, "We'll sort this out, Wroth. You're quite a drinker for you age, aren'tcha?". He smiled now, reminded of his youthful stupidity. However he knew that this kid is far more dangerous than he was. And maybe than he is. He had to tread carefully.

As Neomi neared the tavern listening to the festive music, sounds of parade and chatter of people nearby. Suddenly that atmosphere was interrupted as the noise coming from the tavern garnered her more immediate attention, apparently one of the patrons was quite angry and was demanding their money back. Neomi grinned subtlety and thought to herself that it would be quite an entertaining distraction while she waited for her friend. She entered the tavern finding what appears to be a twelve year old boy and a man whom seemed familiar, the woman on the other hand she did not know perhaps due to not frequenting this area much, only visiting for business and meet up with her friend.

Yuki blinked at the statement then frowned. She was sure no one was stupid enough to leave coin laying about but none the less she moved off to search for said purse of gold. Oddly she found it behind the bar. Likely put there by Casden for safe keeping. She picked up the bag and headed back over to the pair of individuals, “Is this the one?” She asked softly holding up the leather bag.

She noticed that the daemon didn’t look too good. Was he ill? The youkai tilted her head causing the crystals of ice to clink together making them ring like soft chimes. Her gaze then drifted for a moment to a new comer. She wasn’t sure she had seen her but she would had discounted if she had.

Wroth might not have been to smart at least that's what some ballsy enough to tell him have said. But he knew when someone was assuming he was still a child or was patronizing him. Wroth frowned his fists balling up. "I'm not a kid you moron! I'm just wearing my other skin, in fact, i'm bigger than everyone in this room!" He stated matter-of-factly.

Dareth was taken aback. "I'm bigger than everyone in this room!", resonated in his had. For the first time in a long time, he didn't know what to say. He knew shapeshifters, but he rarely let his emotions to get better of him. "I see.", he said, with a sad smile. "I'm glad you've your money, Wroth. You're interesting.", he blurted. Damn, I can't lose my cool because of this., he thought. His senses sharpened, as they did when he was wrong. He inhaled. "Thanks, Yuki.", he said, smiling kindly. This girl was getting better and better. Then he noticed that one person. FUCK, SHIT FUCK., he thought in the instant he saw her. Neomi feckin' Damian. This might yet go awry. He needed to be ready, no matter his sword or his tongue. He knew her. She was a sadist. A cruel, one at that. He quickly looked at Yuki, apologetic. Then back at Wroth. I'm not gonna catch a break, am I?

Neomi stood just near the entrance holding her black frilly umbrella like it was a walking stick while curiously eyeing the familiar man as it started to annoy her not remembering him instantly and after further inspection of the man, it finally hit her (metaphorically of course) that he was the man by the name of Dareth. Although not knowing dear Dareth personally, she knows him because he would frequently purchase some drugs from Nemo. sending a playful wave and then flirting by blowing a kiss to his direction "well why hello there dear Dareth" she said whilst smiling innocently as if she did not know what the current atmosphere of the situation was like.

After all things considered however, she turned her attention to the one whom she believed was making all the ruckus, one whose appearance suggest that they're around eleven maybe twelve year of age but Neomi knew that she should not take things at face value and especially not other Daemons. She did find it amusing nonetheless though as she subconsciously grinned at the situation in front of her.
