Reiner Braun & Yulia Prologue; The Short Bus
Reiner wasn't quite sure how he got here, or why exactly. He had been having some... Trouble approaching Valentine's day, trouble that perhaps a visit to a chocolate factory could resolve. However, he didn't expect some weird, horseless carriage (a bus, apparently, or at least that's what Beatrice described such things as) to show up. Before he knew it, he was sitting in one of the seats, gazing out one of the windows, not quite sure what to make of this whole situation.
Daylight was seeping through the bus windows, and everything was quiet, perhaps too quiet. Reiner was beginning to doze off a little when he felt something long and furry brush past his hand, causing him to jolt up in his seat in surprise, one hand on the hilt of his blade.
"W-Who's there?" He asked, his military instincts momentarily overtaking him.
Preparing to stand up and look around, despite the bus still moving, as he wasn't sure who else might be on the bus. Obviously there were other passengers, but he was concerned that somehow, a threat had made its way onto the bus. He was suddenly startled once more by a tap on his shoulder, to which he whipped around, preparing to brandish one of the blades from his 3D maneuver gear, to meet the gaze of a... Peculiar girl.
"You... Aren't going to stab anyone, are you?" She asked, looking oddly calm for someone in a situation like this.
Reiner seemed to freeze for a moment, feeling quite embarassed about his reaction when he realized it was a... Cat... Girl... Person that startled him, and not some weird animal or something that snuck aboard.
"... I... ... No. No I wasn't." He muttered sheepishly, letting out a sigh of relief, and frustration (though mostly at himself), slumping down into his seat.
There was another period of silence, before Reiner spoke again, evidently feeling kind of guilty for his impulsive behavior earlier.
"Ah... What... Brings you here anyways?" He asked finally, deciding to break the sudden silence with some form of conversation.
She just shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't know." She said.
Well, that was a short lived conversation, but it seemed that Reiner was determined to at least get something out of it.
"... Well... Can you... At least tell me your name?" He asked.
That was simple enough, right?
"They call me... Yulia." She replied, though it was odd that she'd hesitate like that before responding, as if she wasn't sure herself.
Yet another moment of silence occurred, before Reiner broke it once more.
"Well, pleased to meet you Yulia. I'm Reiner-" He started to say.
Unfortunately, Yulia seemed to have dozed off during that period of silence, leaving Reiner awkwardly holding out a hand towards her sleeping figure. With a sigh, he shook his head, deciding to try and get some shuteye himself before they arrived.

Reiner groaned, waking up roughly when the bus arrived at the factory... The seat next to him, where Yulia had been sleeping on the bus ride, was completely empty. Where did she go?
As his eyes darted around, trying to spot the mysterious cat-girl, he spotted a flash of brown hair disappearing out the open door. It looks like she was off doing her own thing.
In the meantime, Reiner decided to try and find answers, but before he approached a somewhat familiar face he saw, he first decided to check the sign-in notebook, where he saw... A bunch of names he couldn't recognize, along with at least two familiar ones; Mash Kyrielight, someone who he had been told a little about, and... Kiyohime.
Wait, what?
Reiner wasn't sure if he should be relieved, or really, really scared.
Taking a brief look at the markings on his right hand, the command seals he was branded with after his first (unexpected) venture into the multiverse, he sighed, hoping that even if this wasn't the same Kiyo here that he had become the master of... They would, still find some common ground at least, lest her fiery temper get the better of her.
For now though, he decided to focus on what was happening now; there was a moderate amount of chaos going on, and someone was... Making candies out of thin air and throwing them another. Just trying to wrap his head around how that sort of thing worked, even after having had a bit more experience with magic, was going to give him a migraine, so he decided to speak up, addressing "Mash" first.
"... Mash... Kyrielight?" He said, the uncertainty clear in his voice.
While he was almost certain this was the Mash Kiyo told him about, he could never be too sure... Especially in a strange, new place like this (at least to him anyways).

Yulia in the meantime seemed to have gone ahead and lost herself amongst the people flocking into the factory, weaving in and out of the crowd... Taking a peek at the sign-in notebook, before she resumed wandering about, that was... Until she bumped right into someone wearing a distinct, red dress, sporting a head of blonde hair.
Though she did not know her name, Yulia had a distinct urge all of a sudden to say something... Just one word...
"Umu?" She said, tilting her head to one side as she spoke.
