Elliot shot a curious glance toward Kumagawa, listening to him intently. Though when he summoned his screws into the floor, Elliot's hands glowed. He gritted his teeth in anger, looking about ready to retaliate, but instead, he simply held his ground. "You may have a point," he said with an edge to his voice. He did not seem entirely put off by Kumagawa's threat. "I escaped my drudgery once, only to once again find a new sort of hell. Then I did away with that one too. Over and over again. I know just as well that only I can rid myself of what pains me, but such an action requires power, don't you know? Finding your own happiness... it requires obtaining power, simple as that."

He then looked to Gumi, keeping a wary sideways look at Kumagawa as well. "That is not the game I expected it to be based on the name. What is the point? Why don't you simply tell me what you're thinking of? Is the goal to ultimately torture it out of you? I could imagine such an exercise from soldiers, not... yourself."

"I don't know what you're stone is, so I can't say whether it would affect anything," Stamets said almost sarcastically.

"It's apparently a kind of weapon," Burnham said.

"Hmm." Stamets shrugged. "It should be fine. Keep in mind that we have little to no basis for when it comes to beings from other dimensions. We won't know what the scans will tell us, nor do we know if it will prove anything you say. It is mostly for research purposes. Just hold still."

Stamets pressed a button on his console. Nothing seemed to happen, but the computer display in front of him was evidently compiling data.

Emily nodded, biting her lip a little in anticipation. At least there was no immediate problem that the crew could think of, and... Fortunately enough, it seemed that nothing was happening as far as she could tell while the scan was going on. Of course, the scan was going and all, so she decided against moving from where she was for now, instead... Letting her mind drift a little.

"..."

Emily did kind of want to talk... As she was curious what the scan may be saying about them, but she figured it was best to just comply and not move. However, she did wonder how Elliot was holding up in that Hangar. Was he keeping himself in check while she and the other 3 arrivals were gone? Or was he back to his... Usual shennanigans.
"Ooh, more than one person is playing? Heck yeah! That means you two each get twenty questions, and can work together to figure out who I'm thinking of!" Gumi giggled, a mischievious look on her face. "Unleeeeeess...you guys wanna compete for points~"

@Atomic Knight @Kaykay

Gakupo wanted to ask if the scan was going on, but he had been told to stand still, so he remained silent as the data rolled. The technology in this world was highly advanced, wasn't it? No doubt there was something in this world to get them home...he hoped.

"Y'know... This is not what I had in mind while taking Ambassador Sarek, but I guess I'll take it. I mean, not like I really have much of a choice, huh?" The redhaired woman whom Stamets introduced as Ensign Tilly, seeming to force a cheery exterior, a notion that awkwardly combined with her uneasy laugh, mainly talking to Stamets, "You don't think like, he'll write a bad report about how we accidentally put him in danger with all this going on, will he? Seems like kind of a Vulcan thing to do, y'know? Like "oh, it was logical because to do so would be to keep the Federation in the dark needlessly" or something, but... um, uh, I guess I'm doing that thing again."

Giving a sheepish look at the four, Tilly awkwardly waved again. "Don't mind me. I just... talk a lot when I'm nervous. Not that you guys make me nervous or anything! It's just, y'know, it's just a weird situation for all of us. I'm sure you're nervous too though! It's just... uh, well, anyway..."

As the computer continued compiling data, Tilly looked over it alongside Stamets, comprehending it to the best of her ability and pursing her lips. "Mm... That's weird. Or, I guess, to be expected... They all have different vibrational wavelengths from each other, and us for that matter," she murmured to Stamets (but incidentally just loud enough for the others to hear), continuing look over the machine, "While they were on their way, Captain Saru said that the guy mentioned there was like five other people from his own world, so maybe they'd all have matching wavelengths? Not that it'd bring us any closer, I guess."

"By the way, am I the only one who finds it a little weird to call him Captain? I mean, Acting Captain doesn't roll off the tongue as well, but I mean, I guess after Lorca--You know what, never mind."

Once the scan finally finished compiling its data on the small group, Tilly looked up back at them. "Alright, that should be it for now. Beyond that, we need to ask you guys some questions about the circumstances and whatnot," she said, trying her best hand at coming off formal, even if her first try at it was met with mixed results, holding her hands together, "So, to start us off, do any of you remember what you were all doing before you came on board the Discovery? And more than that, you wouldn't happen to have anything on your person or in your world that would have drawn you to be whisked away, would you? Some sort of special piece of tech or something that might clue us in on why you were specifically taken here?"

"Hmm... might be something to do to get through the waiting." Meceliss said before looking at Titus. "They're no combat involved in this." Meceliss said to him before pondering to herself. "Does anyone play Pazaak?" The Mirialan asked.

The Mirialan shoots the man a glare for a moment "It's not about finding traitors. I believe it's to get to know each other. And what's your problem with non-humans?"

The Jedi nodded. "My name is Mizelia. From what I heard, you should be well known in the known Galaxy. Yet, I have never heard of you before. Care to tell me a bit about yourself? Taking we will be stuck here for an unknown amount of time. And should this not end up as most confrontations between Jedi and Sith. This might be helpful for both of us." Mizelia said to the Sith Lord. Her tone was still calm. Showing even some curiosity towards the Sith Lord. And as Vader thought, she apparently did not seem to know what position or situation she was in. Yet, this Jedi did not seem to have hostile intentions either.

If the Jedi thought he was going to share anything that they could use against him then she would be very disappointed.

"No, I do not."
Came his curt response. "The only thing you need to know is my name, Jedi. Darth Vader." Or perhaps there was something he could share Vader thought to himself... "Where I am from the Jedi no longer exist. Killed by my own hands." Vader instead decided to turn the tables on her. "Tell me Jedi...what star date are you from? To never have heard of Darth Vader, perhaps you have been hiding under a rock ever since the Jedi Order was exterminated, and now you have found yourself here in front of me."

Mizelia raised an eyebrow as she heard what he said. This man was probably not one who would be willing to cooperate, yet it wasn't entirely over. "It's been around twenty-five years since the Treaty and Sacking of Coruscant, fifty-five years since the re-emerging of the Sith Empire and the start of the war, seven years ago since the conquest by the Zakuul Empire and around twenty-thousand years after the formation of the Galactic Republic. However, where I am from, we are rebuilding. And we have come far with it. Unfortunately, war on the horizon again with the Sith Empire now that the Zakuul Empire is gone." Mizelia answered honestly. Darth Vader could feel that she was telling the truth.

Wow. She talked a lot, huh? Tilly reminded Gakupo of Gumi with how she never seemed to stop talking. How was his little sister, anyway? Was she doing all right? As happy as he was to be out of there, he still did leave her in with all those psychos. But there were also decent folks in there as well, so hopefuply everything was going all right.

"Well, I was at a concert with the other girls from my world, and we were all in the breakroom when we suffered a power outage." Gakupo shut his eyes, trying to remember what happened. Ignoring his undignified screaming... "...The last thing I have saved back there is telling everyone to stay calm. Then...I woke up in the hangar." He opened his eyes. "Nothing else is in my memory. No kidnappers, nothing like that. I just...shut down."

After the scan was over, Emily eyed Tilly for a moment, as she hadn't realized Saru was a "Acting Captain" rather than just a Captain. It seemed something happened the original, but... For now, she decided not to pry, as she wasn't sure if bringing that up right now would end very well.

Regardless, she decided to answer Tilly's question about her origins as truthfully as possible, first taking time to listen to what Gakupo and Zero Two had to say before she spoke herself.

"The last thing I remember doing was diving in a submarine. I was heading to an Alien Ship that a friend of mine was using to house memories. There was something there that held something important to us... And perhaps all of Alledia." She said, then she furroed her brow, straining as she tried to remember much more, but to no avail.

"It's all a blur from then on... I don't know what happened after that... But the last thing I remember feeling was an intense... Heat..." She finished, sighing a little.

Emily looked a little upset that she couldn't remember anything else of use, but... Perhaps it would come to her later.

He did and that made everything fall into place. "You are from the past." Came his response. Fascinating, two living beings from the Old Republic era in front of him. "The Jedi aren't dead. Just as the Sith weren't dead in mine time for a thousand years since the Great Hyperspace Wars. You might have crippled the Jedi Order, but the Sith and Jedi cannot be destroyed. There will always be new ones from the teachings left behind. Even the smallest bit of knowledge of the two will keep them alive. Not even Zakuul managed to do destroy both, who manage to cripple two galactic superpowers in the span of a month. Though a Galaxy controlled by Sith... can't think of much good from that. Taking the Sith that I have heard of. Unless the Sith have changed, which isn't to be ruled out." Although not as much as she hoped for, it was something that will leave her pondering for a while. Walking towards the group and observes.

"Interesting," Stamets said. He poured over the info for a moment, before sighing to himself. "Sounds like you all lead such exciting lives," he then muttered.

"The ambassador will likely have much bigger worries than filing a complaint," Burnham said to Tilly, ultimately unsure what Sarek would think of all this. Starfleet had approved this last use of the spore drive, in any case.

Stamets cleared his throat. "Vibrational wavelengths is a new concept recently theorized by us aboard the Discovery ever since the concept of alternate universes became an observable and researchable viability. This is a concept similar to that of the unique quantum signatures we have observed, but applying it to the concept of there being multiple prime universes. Essentially, as you all do have unique signatures as far as we can gather, it corroborates both our theories and your claims to be from separate dimensions. There are far, far more tests to do, but..." Stamets looked down at his monitor and furrowed his brow. He seemed to be considering something. "Perhaps you might be in a better position to understand our questioning if you knew somewhat of the technology we use."

Stamets pressed a few buttons and expanded a holographic display for the group to see. It appeared as a massive series of tunnels, or a very complicated web. "The mycelial network is made up of the mycelium of a microscopic fungus. The network expands the known universe and our unique spore drive allows our ship to travel along this network instantaneously. It's been known to allow us to cross into dimensions that also contain the mycelial network."

"Could the mycelial network exist not just in the quantum universes we know of, but every possible universe across all of reality?" Burnham asked.

Stamets shrugged. "Possibly. It certainly exists in all the offshoots of our prime universe, but I am unsure if it goes beyond that. However, if you're suggesting we are in some dark corner of the mycelial network, I would have to say it's unlikely. In whatever space-time continuum we find ourselves in, there is no observable mycelial network. We are, essentially, off the rails. My only suggestion would be to try and reverse our jump using the logged coordinates."

Stamets sighed once again, running a hand through his hair. He pursed his lips and observed the network display with curious eyes. "It eludes me how we were able to reach out and bring you to our ship. So far, there seems to be little that connects you in any meaningful way. Even more curious is that fact that we only appeared to bring in various sapient beings, whether they be synthetic or organic. One would think it miraculous we did not bring in some kind of dangerous matter on to the ship--"

"Hold on," Burnham said, hearing something over the comms. She held out a hand for Stamets to pause and listened intently.

"New scans are indicating something odd aboard the ship," said the helmsman. "Multiple entities, moving about inside the walls. Our Security Officer has been informed."

Burnham's eyes went wide. "We may have a dilemma," she said.

“The fuck kind of Red can do that?! Last time I checked, Simmons and Donut didn’t have fucking super strength!” Grif shouted anxiously as he made his way towards the shield as well, albeit more cautiously than Sarge.

“Obviously Lopez tracked down our location using the tracking I installed in him when I built him!”

“Sarge, tracking devices are used to track down the person who has them. They don’t work the other way around.”

“Okay, keep telling yourself that, Private.” Sarge replied with a chuckle as he got as close to the shield as possible.

Meceliss and Mizelia look up Elliot and walk towards the force field. Both using the Force to extend outwards beyond the force field. "I can sense them, but faintly. Or maybe not..." Meceliss said undecided. "Yet, I sense something out there as well. I think we have company." Meceliss then said as she unclips her lightsaber. Mizelia looks up to Elliot "Perhaps we should get a way to deactivate the force field and investigate. Whatever is happening, it doesn't feel good." Mizelia said, feeling something was not okay.
“It’s obviously a fellow Red coming to save us from these damn Blues!” Sarge exclaimed happily as he made his way towards the shield.

They don’t work when it’s the other way around.”

“Okay, keep telling yourself that, Private.” Sarge replied with a chuckle as he got as close to the shield as possible.

“Hello! Fellow Red! We’e in here! Lowrer the shield so we can escape!”
Sarge shouted from behind the shield, clearly trying alerting whatever was out there in the hopes that they would be helped.

Huh?

Gumi rushed to the barrier, trying to get a good view of what was going on. "Do you think there was turbulence? Or maybe they got into a fight with each other?" She tried flying all around the barrier to catch a glimpse of what was going on.

The turbulence hit.

"A huge shame. It appears that our game time will have to be cut short," Starscream says to his new acquaintances, then turns to Chibi-Robo, "Swindle, care to scout the perimetres for certain non-humanoid, possibly organic activity?"

Starscream, standing tall, morphs his arms into blasters once more to prepare for combat.

"Likely a wild beast without tactic or strategy. Sometimes, beasts like Energon Eaters or Scraplets cling onto Cybertronian ships, eating its fuel or hull respectively. Based on how we are unable to percieve it, I do not imagine it being a large size, perhaps even a mere stain on my foot. We should be fully capable of outsmarting it."

While allowing Chibi-Robo to go upfront first, Starscream takes gentle steps towards the source.

Elliot had skulked off from the group, choosing not to participate in the proposed game. All he had said was that he didn't get the point of it before not opening his mouth again, possibly to the relief of others. He had been staring daggers at the cards for the next while, in full view to catch something rather odd.

"What--?!"

Something slammed into one of the guards, knocking him to the ground. The next was assaulted by some kind of creature that latched on to his head and sent him careening out of view of those in the hangar bay. "What the hell is going on now?" Gakupo had no idea what they had said, but he figured he could understand it all later, after processing it a bit. Of course, that didn't matter, as some new information popped up, about new intruders. "What do we do?" he asked. On his mind, though, he could only think of one thing.

Gumi.

Emily nodded, listening closely as she tried to take in the information about the mycelial network. Some of the terminology, like usual, was lost on her... But she understood the gist of it; the mycelial network was some sort of microscopic fungal network which the ship's "spore drive" allows travel across this network of fungus. The closest thing she could think of to this were Alledias "transpores". Mushrooms that provided a one way method of teleport from one location to another. Useful, but unfortunately they seem to disappear after only one use, unlike the mycelial network, which appeared to be capable of sustaining countless journeys from one point to another.

Perhaps if the mycelial network did extend across dimensions and universes, like Burnham mentioned the possibility of, the transpores may be their distant cousin Her head throbbed a little thinking about the implications of this, but before she could even say anything, especially regarding to how they may have ended up being pulled aboard the ship, the immediate threat Burnham was suddenly alerted of instantly drew Emily's attention.

"The hangar! We have to get to the hangar!" She shouted.

Her eyes darted left and right as she tried to remember the way back, as she realized very quickly how dire the situation could be if those in the Hangar were under attack... But she hoped that her stone magic was enough to fight off whatever threat had suddenly presented itself on the ship.

“How exactly do you plan on shooting that thing when it’s on the other side of the shield, dumbass?”
