"No, I... really don't want to see your gut," James said with a grimace. "And, uh, as for Liara--"

He stopped himself short when the Asari herself arrived. James gave a shrug. "Kill everybody, huh? And here I thought I was supposed to believe you guys were good people or something." There was an edge to his voice. Perhaps his pride was still sore, or perhaps he still wasn't offering his trust. Regardless, when James caught Titus' glance, he offered the man a slight nod. It was an acknowledgment of respect and admiration.

"We have this big window out into space," he said, pointing to a corner of the Crew Quarters. "There's also the lounge. We have a few extra beds too if you need them."

At Grif's question, James seemed momentarily confused. "Well, yeah? We're at war. The entire galaxy is at war. There's nothing more important."

When Vert appeared, James found his eyes drawn to her. He blinked at her for a moment before averting his eyes and clearing his throat. "Right, yeah, you're not a kid. I get it."

"I had hoped things would not turn out as they did, but I'm glad we were able to quickly build relations." Vert responded simply, giving James a smile.

"Is your entire galaxy at risk of extinction?" James asked Grif, with no air of anything but utter seriousness. "Because ours is. You dropped in at a bad time, amigos."

James then looked to Meceliss. "Liara here might be able to tell you more, but all I know is that they are a threat to everyone I love and everyone I have ever known. They are giant, synthetic monsters from deep space and all they seem to care about are killing every last one of us."

"Hmm. Sounds like we indeed arrived at a bad point in time in your Universe it seems. This is all too familiar to me... However unlike my previous interactions in the group, these people would not believe me, nor would they want to believe me. *Ahem*" Vert cleared her throat after whispering the last part before walking over to the Food and Drinks section, looking back towards James. "You... wouldn't happen to have some tea, would you? Or some easy to prepare food? I'm sure all of us could use a refresher after all that's happened."

Elliot grimaced. He squirmed once again, pulling one of his arms out of the covers Chakwas had covered him in. He stared at his hand and spoke to Nathan again, low so that it could not be heard by everyone in the infirmary. "I threatened to kill you. It was in your best interest to agree to have me killed as well."

He swallowed roughly and looked to Emily next. "None of us are free at this moment, Emily. We are lost in this universe with the possibility of never going home. How does that not fill you with rage? I have learned to despise anything that would threaten my freedom. I did not believe this to be an acquired trait but something innate in all of us, but perhaps you have taught me otherwise."

In the end... Even Emily herself wasn't sure why she wasn't angry at the prospect, although the fact that this wasn't the first time she had been away from home... With no guarantee of returning probably helped things along, at least a little.

"Maybe I should be mad... Angry... But... I know it won't help me. That kind of anger leaves us vulnerable... On the inside." She said quietly.

Without realizing it herself, Emily's free hand had found her stone... Gripping it tightly... As if she intended to crush it, even though it was evidently something impossible for her to accomplish.

"But... You aren't the only one looking for freedom. The kind I am searching for is just... Different. That's all..." She added, seeming to trail off a little.

While she seemed naiively optimistic on the surface, as time went on... And things began to wear on her, it seemed that Emily had some burdens of her own... Ones she wished she could cast aside. Though... Unfortunately it wasn't something she could just do on a whim.​

"No." Meceliss said towards the man as she recognized him.

"I do know how to cook." Mizelia answered
"Don't forget the giant robot and the Sith Lord, unless you include those two as soldiers." Meceliss added to the man's last statement.


"A pleasure meeting you, Liara." Mizelia said towards the newcomer. Noticing the orange gauntlet on her arm, looking at it curiously.

"I see you're curious about my omni-tool," Liara replied making it form on her arm again. "We can do pretty much any civilian or battlefield task. I don't know what I would do with out mine."

Chakwas paused and looked down her nose at Peter, as if he had said something quite unseemly. "For now, let's just assume any treatment I give you will not cause an adverse reaction." As Chakwas reached for some medi-gel, Steve awkwardly laughed a little.

"A living planet? That's, uh... that sounds a little intense."

Though, as the conversation about Elliot picked up, Chakwas and Steve heard quickly what was being discussed. The doctor shot Sheila an unimpressed look. "There will be no attacking my patients within my infirmary," she said bluntly.

"Sounds like you guys have a lot to work out," Steve said, brow furrowed. "But you know what? Keep it off our ship." The statement fell on deaf ears as the situation inevitably escalated.

Once she was done with Peter's wound, Chakwas stood to her feet and walked over to Sheila with determination dead set in her eyes. "Leave my infirmary. Now." She shot a look at Starscream as he left for good measure.

The angle was not the best, so seeing what exactly the man was doing was hard. He seemed to be pressing at unidentifiable buttons. The tool itself looked like a gauntlet of some sort.

"That's incredible!" Gakupo couldn't believe how effective that was. "And here I thought I wouldn't be able to get that fixed until I got home."

"Most of us are good people, but there are like four of us who aren't. Even the supervillain lady is better than them!" As James brought up war, though, Gumi dropped the cheerful chatter. This was serious, so now it was time to be serious. She would probably have to be serious a lot on this ship. "That's terrifying...have you ever seen one of those things up close?"

Because I've been trapped my whole life and I do not believe you could possibly understand how that feels."

Chakwas then came over to examine Elliot, frowning. She gently placed a hand on his forehead, which Elliot shuddered to allow. "Seem to be starting a fever. Odd. I don't believe this is just exhaustion. In fact, I would say you are displaying symptoms of withdrawal. Would you know anything about that?"

Elliot stared at her warily. "I do not like the way you look at me."

Although Sarge would have normally continued to argue, he didn’t think that Adams was lying about the entire ship being monitored, so instead he only backed up a bit and grunted.

“Right... I’ll help you then.” Sarge said reluctantly, seeing this as a perfect oppurtunity to investigate their ship for nefarious plans.

He also wasn’t totally convinced that the gauntlet wasn’t some sort of mega super weapon or a nuclear bomb.

Vader meanwhile decided to ignore Meceliss' snipe. The Jedi could think what she wanted but the fact of the matter was that if they would look around they had not met a powerful army, but a contingent of soldiers running away from a threat they had no clue of defeating.​

It was only when Elliot answered her, that Emily realized what she was doing with her stone. With a brisk motion, she released her grip on it just enough to reveal the mysterious pattern on its surface once more.

"My stone. That's why I can't take it off..." She said, seeming a little uneasy already.

Although, as it was a complicated matter, Emily had intended to say more. Even if talking about it didn't make her feel the most comfortable... But was cut off by what Chakwas mentioned; it looks like she noticed something about Elliot that she hadn't. He was experiencing more than just exhaustion, like she had thought at first... It was... Withdrawal.

Even at the age of 14, she knew enough about withdrawal to understand that it most often had a connection with some form of drug. However, it didn't seem like Elliot would use any if they didn't benefit him in some way, but nonetheless... A look of worry crossed her face, and in that moment, she almost resembled her mother.

"Elliot... I-... We have to know as much as we can if you want to get better. I don't think rest will do it alone." She said, a sense of urgency in her voice.

Though... It didn't look like she was making any harsh judgements about this new information either; although she had never resorted to anything like drugs and the like to achieve her goals... Her stone was frighteningly close to such things; its powers were limitless, but almost addictive. The stone always seemed to be trying to take advantage of moments she got too carried away to fight its influence.

Sometimes she wondered if it would have been better if she declined to take her grandfather's place as the keeper of her stone. Her brother had been suspicious of it from the start... And even the stone itself said it was possible to do what she wanted without its power, but the path wasn't so "certain".

Hindsight really was a pain sometimes.​

It was only when Elliot answered her, that Emily realized what she was doing with her stone. With a brisk motion, she released her grip on it just enough to reveal the mysterious pattern on its surface once more.

"My stone. That's why I can't take it off..." She said, seeming a little uneasy already.

Although, as it was a complicated matter, Emily had intended to say more. Even if talking about it didn't make her feel the most comfortable... But was cut off by what Chakwas mentioned; it looks like she noticed something about Elliot that she hadn't. He was experiencing more than just exhaustion, like she had thought at first... It was... Withdrawal.

Even at the age of 14, she knew enough about withdrawal to understand that it most often had a connection with some form of drug. However, it didn't seem like Elliot would use any if they didn't benefit him in some way, but nonetheless... A look of worry crossed her face, and in that moment, she almost resembled her mother.

"Elliot... I-... We have to know as much as we can if you want to get better. I don't think rest will do it alone." She said, a sense of urgency in her voice.

Though... It didn't look like she was making any harsh judgements about this new information either; although she had never resorted to anything like drugs and the like to achieve her goals... Her stone was frighteningly close to such things; its powers were limitless, but almost addictive. The stone always seemed to be trying to take advantage of moments she got too carried away to fight its influence.

Sometimes she wondered if it would have been better if she declined to take her grandfather's place as the keeper of her stone. Her brother had been suspicious of it from the start... And even the stone itself said it was possible to do what she wanted without its power, but the path wasn't so "certain".

Hindsight really was a pain sometimes.​

"Emily... are you ok? You're... more tense than when I first met you... You seem very troubled." Krystal said to Emily in a concerned manner. Not only did she have a fuzzy memory, which was more clear thanks to being filled in, but now her only allies she could trust were more tense than before...

Shelia paused for a long time before responding to Staracream. Tapping her hand on her knee, she seemed uneasy.
"Ugh. As much as it was my own idea, I'll be honest and tell you I rather not kill the kid. I was only........ what is the word? Spiteballing. I'm open to it but politically? It's not a sound move. Elliot is like a wounded puppy. Everybody is more than willing to give a wounded puppy a chance than open towards putting it down
And now that everyone knows we're okay with him dying? All eyes are on us.

Lighting a cigarette, Shelia's hand shook as she puffed away.

"And what comes after That? Do we kill Vader and Sarge? In a lotta ways they're worse than him. I'm okay with murder when it's need , but it's a slippery slope. I personally don't wanna break an ankle.
