A Pre - School Roleplay

(Yeah. Got another message. :))

Grammie folded her hands and began to pray, "You are our keeper, O Lord, the shade on our right hand. Protect us from all evil and keep our soul. Guard our going out and our coming in. From this time and forever. In Jesus' name, Amen. " Billy stands and walks slowly to Grammie, where he holds her hand tightly. "Amen." Sophie does the same as her son.

The others say, "Amen." Exhausted, Sophie heads to her bedroom to take a nap. Billy asks Grammie, "Can you tell us a story Grandma?"

Grammie smiles and begins to tell her tale, "Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Patrice. She lived on a farm in the 1800's. Her papa was a strong man, and her mother sweeter then honey. One warm summer day, the girl decided to go down to the creek. Her puppy, named Spice, came running after her. They played together all day, and soon it was time for dinner. Giggling, Patrice ran up the hill, being careful not to trip. They are about to make it, but as the last step is about to be taken, a huge mean dog comes out of nowhere. Spice fought a good fight, but in the end the Doberman Pincer overcame her. She was not going to make it." Billy started crying, for he was thinking of losing Sandy.

Grammie continued her story, "However, the girl saw that Spice was getting weak, and seeing a shovel nearby, she hit that mean Pincer right on the snout. He ran away and that was end of the mean Doberman! The End."

All the cousins come in, soon there is screaming, crying and yelling. The teenagers are sitting on their phones, scrolling through their socal media. The younger kids are fighting over the toy trucks, and Grammie is amazingly still sound asleep.

Billy walks over to Gwen and says, "Ugh, I forgot how loud the younger ones can be. You doing alright?"

Sophie wakes to the sound of babies crying. She straightens herself out, and leaves the room. The family had made it. Walking over to her older sister, Caroline, Sophie said, "Hello Caroline. Do you know what happened? It said there was a tordanodo in Kansas this morning."
