A Pre - School Roleplay

I smile at the students as Gwen tells them about herself.
One of the girls (Lexi) gets up and asks me if she can use the bathroom. I say "Yes." and give her a hall pass.

(Got to go sleep. Night! :))
 
(I'm back.)

I went to the reading corner and began to look for a book to read to the kids.
Lexi comes back and walks over to Gwen. Lexi says to her, "I was really listening during the Ice Breaker and I would like to be friends with you."
 
Ms. Tulip looks up from her book searching to see that Gwen had made a friend.
Lexi grabbed Gwen's hand and giggling, pulled her towards the blocks. "Let's make a castle!" Said Lexi.
 
"It doesn't matter. I do feel like number blocks are good for counting and regular blocks are good for building."
 
As Lexi placed the first block, Gwen speaks of how her family passed away. Lexi says, "I'll be your
school family."
 
Lexi replies, "I'm allergic to cats." She placed the last block and stepped back to look at their creation.

Lexi
"Yeah we did." As I finished speaking, the bell for Story Time rang.

Ms. Tulip

I ring the bell and call out, "Story Time!" The children come running to the rug and circle up. I smile at Gwen and Lexi, and say, "Today we are reading Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss." I begin telling the story and watch the children's reactions.
