Altuet

Her eyes settled on the flowers. I guess it was only humans who thought it was similar to rotting flesh. No matter though. She sat down on a rock, submerged in deep thought. She didn’t respond to his question right away; she wasn’t trying to be rude, but had a very good opportunity to weigh the options for. She knew it was wildly inappropriate to try to introduce a dragon to her people. What mystical properties dragons could offer the world of botany, though. She lifted her chin, her head tilted. "What do you eat?"

Sitting down as well Glenklyn thought for a moment on what he should answer to this, “Fruit best but not get it much” he replied struggling to think of the right words for what he wanted to say. “Meat okay but like fruit...” he added trailing off as he tried to think of he right word, “...much? Good? ...Better? Like fruit better” he finally decided on the right word to use. He was unsure why she wanted to know this as it didn’t seem like very important knowledge for her but maybe it was.

Melany walked through the fields in the direction of the village. Worried she sped up her already fast pace towards the village. Fear that maybe she wouldn’t find anything that could heal a dragon welled up her chest and her thoughts floated to the events that happen just one hour ago.

She was sitting against the wall in there cave high up against the mountain wall. The cave didn’t look big on first side but if you walked to the back of the cave there was an opening to the rest of the cave although Mila did block the opening a long time ago. The entrance of the cave was more like a hole in the wall and it was difficult to come in if you can’t fly. Melany always felt save in that cave. Nela was laying on the platform in front of the entrance while Melany looked at how the sun came up.
Till suddenly a black figure blocked the sunlight and darkened the cave. The next moment the scream of Nela filled the cave and as fast as the dark figure came so fast it was also gone. Because everything happened so fast and figure had blocked the sunlight Melany couldn’t see how it looked like and she had a feeling she didn’t want to either.

“Nela” she yelled in agony as she ran to the dragon. A deep cut was visible on the wing of the dragon and blood was gushing out. “Mel” the dragon whispered “Nela, don’t die, it’s going to be ok, I’m going to help you I promise” Melany said crying. “hush, child it’s not probably not a deadly wound, go get some clothes and water to treat it” Melany put her fears aside, dried her tears and walked to the back to the cave to gather clothes and water to clean the wound. When she poured water over the wound to clean it Nela let out a pained noise. Melany looked at the wound luckily dragons healed faster than humans at least Nela did and the bleeding almost stopped. Clean the wound looked way better. “and, how does it look” asked the dragon. “you are right it is not deadly, you wouldn’t be able to fly for a while but you wouldn’t die” said Mira but while she said the words black stripes began to appear on the otherwise blue scrubs of the dragon from the direction of the wound. “poison” she whispered in horror under her breath while she fastly bind clothes around the wound so she didn’t have to see the wound “what did you say my child” said Nela “nothing” Melany lied knowing perfectly well that Mila will notice. In the hope the dragon wouldn’t bring it up she said “you will need some herbs”. “It’s poison isn’t it, you can’t lie to me you know that” Nela said. Melany looked to her feet. “yes” she said bursting into tears while she hugged the dragon carefully as not the hurt the wounded dragon. Nela managed a pained smile and said “looks like the little rat dragon wasn’t making things up after all”. Melany stood up and said “he has a name you know” but to be honest she didn’t know it. She sometimes saw him if she was in the village stealing. But unlike Melany he would also steal other things then just what he needed to survive. Melany despised it and honestly, she didn’t even know why she defended the dragon in the first place. “Mel, I need you to do something, go find him together you can find help to defeat this thing or at least warn the rest’ the tone of Nela’s voice worried Melany like she already gave up. Melany sighted the thought of having to communicate with humans let alone convince them from something seems nearly impossible. “like they will believe me” She said. “You don’t know that if you don’t try it” Nela said putting on a tone were you just can’t say no to. So, Melany said “ok fine but first I will find medicine” Melany said stubbornly. “ok, but then you find him right” said Nela. “yes, I will” Melany said while she was already on her way to put her shoes on and pick up her backpack. After she was done she packed the rope ladder what she just used once or twice but Nela insisted on having it so Melany could at least get out of the cave on her own.

The sound of sheeps bleating brought Melany back to her senses. She cursed under her breath as she saw the sheep shepherd. When she came closer she could see that he was looking to the forest. When she caught a glimpse a girl with orange hear. She hold back in her speed and silently walked around him hoping he wouldn’t notice her and attend the other girl on her present. She was in the forest so she could sneak past her but in the open field it was nearly impossible. She was stupid she should have taken an different path but in her hurry she took a risk. One she maybe going to pay for. Since she was covered in dragon blood he is probably going to ask a lot of questions, she didn’t wanted to answer just yet. Her first mission was to get some herbs and she know where to get those.

Cinderwyn

Cinderwyn paused. Zora seemed to have seen him, but she hadn’t come over. Instead, she had her back to him, and she seemed to be talking to the dragon. A little one like that holding a conversation? Cinderwyn could see the rigid lines of tension in Zora's back. She was not comfortable with this conversation but she also wasn’t leaving it alone. Glancing over at his sheep, Cinderwyn checked to see if he could join her. The sheep were restless. His brow furrowing, Cinderwyn stood, hand on his staff, looking for the disturbance. It could have been the dragon, but a little one like that wouldn't go after a whole sheep on its own. Probably wouldn't even be able to eat that much.
There was a girl flinching through the field. She was covered in blood. It certainly didn't look like hers. In fact, Cinderwyn had no idea who she was. She had seen her before, but never spoken. She didn’t spend much time in the village. Neither did he, he supposed. "Do you need help?" he asked her. He barely had to call out for her to hear him. Zora, on the other hand, was still talking to that dragon. "Zora!" he yelled, hoping the deagon would come as well, but seeing a girl covered in dragon blood seemed like something of a deterrent. But Cinderwyn didn’t think it was because of her. The girl was too small to hurt a dragon, and she seemed upset. It was her hands that were covered in blood, he saw. She was trying to help. "Please come too, dragon!" he added.

Fenrin

Fenrin kept smirking, his eyes twinkling with amusement. She had to be pretty out of the loop if she didn't know he was a Talier. Or couldn’t figure it out, anyway. Helping her to her feet, he didn't bother helping her collect her coins. Other people's money was their business and he wasn't about to scramble about in the dirt. So he watched her do it instead. Fortunately the village was too small for there to be pickpockets. You didn’t get street urchins in a place like this. No real streets, for one thing. "Fenrin Talier," he told her, nodding his head and givig a slight bow, hand on the hilt of his sword. "And yours, my damsel in distress?" From the look of her she was anything but, but if she wanted to play this game.

Glenklyn was about to say more when suddenly he heard the girl’s name screamed by the boy who had been watching them from the field and he was now joined by a young girl covered in blood. Soon after the boy also called for him and with a sigh he started towards them, not even checking if Zora was following behind him. He moved with surprising speed considering how clumsy he normally was and he reached the two in nearly no time at all. He was about to speak when he suddenly caught a whiff of the air and he froze, entire body tensing up. Dragon blood....

Distant shouting caught Spitz attention before he scanned the area in searchof the source. A human most likely... Dragons would make way more of a louder sound...or at least I think? Maybe i'm just really far away from a loud dragon? He shook his head at his thoughts whilst sitting his haunches down in the tall grass. Frustrated at his own habit, he began to dig a small hole by twirling a single talon downwards into the dirt. Things'd be a whole lot easier if I could bounce ideas off of someone... Spitz had begun to consider trying to make a friend for once, but it'd be a longshot. Everyone in town already hates him and the Traders would be reluctant probably.

After a bit of time to think, he decides to wander the town for an hour or two to see what happens. Maybe if he didn't spend every second hiding, stealing, and mocking others fir once, something different would happen. Maybe he could actually have someone to truly call a friend. The thought began to eat away at him just as the one previously did.

(Was busy all day, sorry)

Kazesr who was now completely lost in thought and not really paying attention to where he was going, but he was quickly pulled out of his thoughts as he found himself running into someone else. Falling the the floor, nearly shattering the pot he was carrying he let out a loud grunt taking down the other person with him. “I am so sorry!” He quickly said scurring to his feet to see who he landed on only to freeze in his place. There before him stood a small dragon, maybe a a few feet tall, it’s colouring a dark blue with markings all over its body. Giving the plant a quick once over to make sure it had survived the fall he turned glanced around him in confusion. He found himself in a sort of secluded alley way, out of the way of the main town and very far away from his house. His vision returned back to the small dragon before him less fearful and more curious.

Zora’s reaction to the shepherd boy calling her name was slow. Wrapped up in her own thoughts, her ears were as good as if they had corks stuck in them. She could hardly turn around before the small green dragon was already making his way towards the commotion. She stood up quickly and trailed not too far behind Glenklyn. She saw Cinderwyn walking towards her, and she only wondered why he would be doing that, not considering maybe it was odd of her to be speaking to a dragon all alone in the forest. Her eyes then wandered to another person in the clearing. A girl. A girl covered in dragons blood for that matter. She didn’t recognize the girl either, and the distressed appearance on her face immediately made Zora feel shocked and concerned. Once they all finally met, facing each other, Zora wished she could smile and greet Cinderwyn, whom she thought of as a friend and someone she could relate to, but now was not the time. “What’s happened? Who are you?” She asked, addressing the girl. “Are you alright?” She cringed on the inside a little. She never liked asking questions, she didn’t like feeling helpless at the absence of knowledge she found important; but it wasn’t about her right now.

Lash had been making his way to the town, his hood up and his bag slung across his shoulder, when he was starting to pass by a farm he could smell several humans and sheep, he was going to ignore it, but he couldn't when he smelled something wrong. Dragons blood, and a good deal of it, he jerked his head over and saw a group of humans gathered one of them covered in dragons blood, he also saw a small dragon with them, but it seemed unharmed. He headed over to them, hopping the fence he walked over to them, " What's going on here?" He asked dropping his hood.

Frustration began to brim about the dragon as now he's hit his head twice and his thoughts were interrupted. He opened his maw about curse and hiss at the human yet nothing comes out as he remembers the goal he'd considered setting for himself earlier. Spitz takes the short moment to study and examine the human like a stubborn child picking at his plate, inching towards the young man and giving him a few prods. "You...your not scared of me?" he quietly remarks before taking a step back. He's really tall compared to the other humans and he has a lot of fur on his face... I wonder just how strong he is. His tail lifted slightly and began to sway, just as it always did whenever he was nervous about something.

Casse Ravenot

Casse kept crawling around gathering her money. The stranger was clearly not going to help her but she didn’t mind. It was her carelessness’ fault after all. When the young man told his name, a distant bell of recognition rang in Casse’s head. Her father had mentioned this name during his speeches about the village’s economy. Casse tried hard to catch that thought.
But of course! She chid herself immediately as she remembered. How could’ve she not realized that this was the son of the honoured Talier family. Casse wasn’t quite sure, but for what she remembered they took care of the business in the mines. She had never kept this kind of information valuable before since most of her days went by fishing and gardening. Casse didn’t have time to well in her ignorance longer as Fenrin asked her name in exchange. ”Casse Ravenot”, she answered whilst getting up to count her money. ”Mister Talier”, Casse added thinking that might be the way to go, since Fenrin had referred to her as ”damsel”
With the bread still not bought, Casse turned over to the old lady, but her stinging gaze told more than enough. ”I suppose I’m not welcome there anymore.” Casse turned back to Fenrin tilting her head towards the booth. Casse put her money back to the pocket and felt quite uncomfortable. She didn’t know how to act in these types of situations and wasn’t sure what to say before walking off. So Casse decided to stay quiet, eyes in the ground.

Fenrin

The moment Fenrin's name rang a bell in the girl-Casse's- head was clear. He grinned. Not being known was somewhat refreshing. He was used to the village people regarding him with some wariness, as though a bad word to him would put their family out of a job for a few generations. It had just been that one time. Well. Maybe twice. Ok, maybe they had a point. That only really made the not being known more of an experience for him. Besides, Casse was amusing. She wasn't too aggressively against him trying to help her, which was new and different. Mister Talier. Interesting. Not exactly a high title, but better than nothing, he supposed. They didn't even technically have titles, after all. He let it stand.
He raised an eyebrow at the old woman who was now denying Casse service. That was just rude. You could say what you liked about Fenrin, but at least he was never rude about his bad behaviour. "I take it you would prefer to neglect my service as well?" he asked mildly.
The woman's face dropped. She, unlike Casse, certainly knew who he was. And she know what losing his service would mean. Today of all days, the village's traders ought to be on his good side. She shook her head quickly, beginning to stutter out a few apologies.
Fenrin gave her a cold smile. "You know Ms Ravenot's order then. And I would suggest you add some sweet pastries to her order, and include something for lunch, and count yourself lucky that you have business at all today." Fenrin waited for the woman to fill his order, holding her gaze until she turned away. He fished a coin from his purse and threw it at her, taking the bag of baked goods and offering his arm out to Casse. "Allow me to escort you to your next location?" he asked, dropping her a grin. "Just to make sure you don't fall again."

Cinderwyn

Cinderwyn smiled weakly at Zora, a blush rising in his cheeks as she neared. But the girl behind him with the dragon blood was still far more concerning than a little social interaction. The dragon had scuttled over with surprising speed. Cinderwyn didn't back off, unthreatened by its appearance, but surprised by its nature. His sheep clumped together, inching away to their own corner away from the noise and the dragons. He looked at them longingly as yet another stranger joined them. He shrank into himself. He hadn't spoken to another person for months, let alone had three humans, and a dragon close enough to touch. He coughed, quietly into his arm.

Casse Ravenot

Casse didn’t have to wait long for Fenrin to further their conversation. But what he did next took Casse completely by surprise. She followed the exchange between Fenrin and the woman behind the counter mouth open in astonishment. The woman clearly knew who Fenrin was better than Casse did and the way she treated him made Casse a bit nervous. It was like one wrong move could result in her doom. Still Casse could do nothing but stand there stunned while Fenrin gave forward her order.
When he asked for a few additions with the bread Casse was sure she was dreaming. Why was someone going to so many lengths for a stranger to get what they wanted? It did not benefit Fenrin in the slightest and what Casse had heard from her father, the Talier family was not one for unnecessary generosity. Nonetheless their son was helping her and even paying for her food.
Casse came into the conclusion that either Fenrin was different from his parents, or Casse’s father didn’t know what he was talking about. For all she knew, either of them could be true. But to Casse, at least, Fenrin seemed kind, even if he sometimes gave her a slightly mocking grin. So when he offered Casse his arm she did not hesitate to take it. She smiled to Fenrin accepting his offer to walk with her. Casse gave out a little laugh as he hinted to her previous accident.
Casse knew she should go home but she did not want to leave Fenrin’s company quite yet. She was silent for a moment deciding what to do. Then she said: ”I’m not that familiar with the town, so why don’t you show me around a little bit. Do you possibly have favourite place here that you could take me to?” Casse swallowed hoping she hadn’t said anything batty.

“Should I be scared?” Kazesr asked innocently as he crouched down in an attempt to level with the dragon before him. Sure he had been nervous at first, but his fear left him completely as the dragon spoke to him instead of attacking. Suddenly remembering how the two had actually come to meet he quickly asked, “Are you alright? I did land on you after all” Kazesr let out a nervous chuckle at the end of it.

Glenklyn continued to stay completely frozen, eyes locked on the girl in front of him as his spikes flared up defensively. Another human had joined their ranks by this point but he paid them no head, focusing only on the immediate threat in front of him, namely the girl drenched in dragon’s blood. For most dragons this would be to concerning considering the girl’s size and age,but his dwarfing stature made some creatures a lot more dangerous than they should be and he wasn’t willing to take a chance.

Melany froze when the Shepperd noticed her and called out to the girl in the forest. She was about to run away when she heard the Shepperd say dragon and short after that a dragon came running in her direction. Well no way she can run away now. Melany thought frustrated. Shortly after the dragon the girl came out of the forest asking al lot of questions and just when Melany thought it couldn’t get worse she heard yet an other voice asking yet another question. Melany looked around nervously not sure as to what to say. She didn’t talk with humans in a very long time and they never asked something to her and now three humans are asking her questions all in the same time. Melany looked at the dragon she didn’t know him. Suddenly she realized the dragon was seeing her as a treat. She was shocked. She needed the dragon to trust her or this could get ugly. So she kneeled down in front of the dragon and said softly in the language of the dragons. “don’t be scared, I’m not going to hurt you” She looked up to the humans. Maybe they could help her. She did promise Nela that she would spread the word. Well she didn’t have many choice and maybe Nela was right and they would believe her. There was only one way to figure it out. So she took deep breath and said in English this time so the humans could understand “I’m Melany, we were attacked by something, Nela is hurt she needs help”. She needed to fight against her tears and the words came out shaking. Scared she looked at the humans around her.

As the girl covered in blood got closer to him, he let out a hiss revealing his set of sharp teeth in an attempt to get her to back up. She said something that he couldn’t understand before turning to the others in the group and announcing her and someone named Nela was hurt. Glenklyn took a step back from the girl, his eyes still distrusting yet he was willing to let her try as her fear looked sincere. ‘I shall let the others decide’ he concluded stopping his hissing but keeping his spikes raised, just in case. ((Glenklyn doesn’t understand the dragon language as he was never taught it but he does have his own language that is sort of a hybrid of the natural wyvern language and English along with understanding and speaking a little English))

Eyeing him as he dropped to his level, he took a step back readying himself for whatever he might try. Correction, you should be hateful of me if not scared. I'm suprised he doesn't know who I am either...normally this is the part where stuff gets thrown or some chase begins. "I'm tougher than I look, i'll be fine. Erm..." He trails off leaving a sudden awkward silence between the two. C-c'mon, say something... If I really am going to do this, I have to try and at least need to be a little talkative. "Y-your not planning to plant that thing back here, are you? It's too shady...it'd die in a few days probably." Pfft, way to go...I sound like a dork...
(Sorry if its a little weird)

((Pshaw as if I could do better))
“It’s Kazesr, and no. This plant supposedly helps clean the air and I am bringing it home for my father. He has a lung issue you know” he explained not really caring that he should probably not be telling strangers things like this. He was glad to just talk to someone for once, who wasn’t one of his mum’s friends, as most people know of his bad luck curse and avoided him at all costs. Becoming rather uncomfortable just crouching there he instead just sat down, ignoring the dirt and grim that now covered his pants. “May I ask your name?” He said trying to sound casual as if he talked with a dragon every day and totally knew what he was doing.

"It's uh...Spitz." He pauses for a moment contemplating wether or not Kazesr's kindness was simply an hoax. Maybe he just wants to use me for.... Gah! There I go again darn it... Finally deciding to speak what was on his mind, Spitz continues "Can I ask you a question Kazsie? Kazscer...Kozco..." he trails off. "Sorry, I'm not really good with names, but why are you being kind to me? Dragons area bit...oh what's the word...infamous...around here, or from experience at least."

“Oh....” Kazesr said trailing off a bit as his face took on a gloomier look. He didn’t really want to mention his “curse” to Spitz, as he was afraid of losing what could be his only chance at a friend. “Well you see....I have this sort of..uh..curse. I don’t really get to talk to others very often...every time I make a friend they sort of..erm..have bad things happen to them..? It’s kinda like a curse...you know?” He said attempting to make it sound less bad than it actually was but failing miserably at it. He took on a more defeated look at he muttered sadly, “I was hoping that because you didn’t know maybe we could be...friends?” He sighed and glancing up he waited for Spitz to laugh or to run or call him names.
