Hello, diary! My name is Margreet. But it’s not really the name I’m known by. The name I’m famous for is Mata Hari. I think it’s okay to tell you my true name, because I don’t think anyone will try to read this. Even Caster will probably never know about you. Ever since my powers as a Heroic Spirit came back, I fit in wonderfully everywhere I go. It felt kind of odd without them, as I did feel a few looks here and there in every place I went to, but now my skills at blending in are back! Which is a very good thing, because I’ll probably be staying in Hyrule for longer than expected.

I need to bide my time here in Hateno Village for a little while, until things cool over and I know the Yiga Clan won't try to find me. The failed attack on Hyrule Castle was a complete disaster, and would’ve killed us all had I not made it to the end. Those horrible Traitors... I really do hope Ganondorf was just possessing them somehow, and that this deep sleep will cure them of that possession like it will cure them of their injuries. But if they did this of their own free will, well… I could never forgive them for what they’ve done. Ever. Because of them, five people are dead, and others, including myself, are trapped in this world until we can find a way out. But we will. I’m sure of it!

Powers as a heroic spirit? A false name as well... the one Dell seemed to care for held intimate secrets of her own, despite not being a traitor. Add to that a mention of being able to blend in, and Jin's interest was surely peaked. Who was Margreet or, as the book's written record showed, Mata Hari really? based on what he had seen so far... an ally for certain, and one who seemed particularly upset at their previous failure due to wicked betrayal. One who preferred the shadows as well, much like a shinobi might.

That possibility, of her being one of the secretive assassins and spies who executed the bidding of shadowy masters in his homeland, certainly seemed plausible given her secretive nature. However, something seemed to not fit with that idea. She was clearly far and away the most motherly and forgiving kunoichi he would have heard tales of if she was such a person, and such traits did not suit an assassin well. Besides, wouldn't such a person have already ferreted out who were the vipers among them by now? Even with absent memories, such a person would have sniffed out the truth by now...

He turned to the next entry
, curious to understand more of the woman's perspective on the situation. It seemed she was just as distraught over everything as they were, so he would assume an ally for the purposes of justice and peace was the true identity she wished to hold to her heart. Until Dell called him over, there would be no harm in reading further.

Peter picked up the ten pieces of white jelly and when they finally arrived he headed to the Eastern General Store , he looked over at the owner. "
Do you buy White Jelly here?" He asked.

I visited Purah the scientist today. The convenience of her laboratory being next to the village makes this the perfect place to stay. I would have liked to stay in Gerudo Town, too, since the women there are so dignified and regal, but here, I have a place where I can stay for free! I’m sure Link would love that I’m housesitting while he’s off sealing Ganondorf. He has such a pretty house ♡

Oh my, look at that-I seem to have gotten off track. My visit with Purah was...well, there was good news and bad news. The bad news is that Ganondorf is still strong enough that the seal he placed over this world is unbreakable, meaning that we have no chance to escape it anytime soon. But the good news is that Link’s Triforce-the power the Zelda gave him-is so powerful, that he should easily weaken Ganondorf so that we can go home within the next five years! Well, everyone else can go home. I’m afraid I will just vanish back to the Throne of Heroes, unless I can find a Master. But what are the chances of that, after my failure?

Speaking of me, though, a quick check-up revealed I’m not really back to my old self juuuust yet. It appears that I am still mortal, just with my old abilities. Frustrating, but I should be okay. I doubt anyone is going to try to murder me.

"Oh yeah, Margreet's diary. Good read." Dell didn't look up from Kaito as he said that.

Nor did Jin look away from the pages of the journal as he was called out. He was too busy contemplating the material, trying to understand what the relating to Margreet's fate meant. The Throne of Heroes would claim her again, unless she found a Master? The title of Heroic Spirit that she claimed for herself seemed connected to the former... was she some sort of servant summoned from another realm, one known as this Throne of Heroes?

"Strange, but good, yes," Those were the only words shared by Jin on the subject as he finally closed the booklet and looked to Kaito and Dell, no guilt in his words as he asked after the sickened man, "In any case, will he be alright? It would be heartbreaking if we lost another so soon after Ken-san's passing..." After a moment though, he sighed as a realization regarding offenses struck him, grimacing at his mistake, "As well, is there a weapon rack? It is not proper for one such as I to carry my blades and bows in the house of my host."

The Drifter gave a short wave to the woman, looking upon the clothing that the boutique offered. It was all quite fancy and clean, but the lone wanderer had no interest in parting with the small armored tunic he wore beneath the stained cloak - the cloak was the only issue. The Drifter approached the woman, slightly raising his red cloak up - particularly the part that was clearly stained.

"Perhaps, but... well, it does not matter, now that I am a man of the waves."

Even though his status was no longer as a samurai, Jin couldn't help but feel uncomfortable at still carrying the tools of war into a place of peace, especially when a doctor was at work on patients. However, for the sake of healing his wounds and being ready if they were attacked once more, he would put aside his discomfort; he couldn't allow his own pain to threaten the path to survival and freedom. Thus, he simply rolled up the charred sleeves of his kimono to show off the burns caused during the explosion for Dell to examine. As he did so, the ronin continued to speak, maintaining an even, polite tone despite the matters they spoke on.

"In any case, it is good that he will be alright... though based on what I read, I am not sure all of us will be once this is over."

Evening Update-Hateno Village

The ice creatures fell, leaving about ten pieces of white jelly to be taken if so desired. Once the bag was in Dell’s possession, he began rummaging through it, until he pulled out the item he needed.

“Oh thank God. You had a Fairy Tonic on you…” Popping the top off, Dell carefully helped Margreet drink it. As she did, w soft pink glow radiated from her body. Color began to return to her face, her arms and legs began to properly reset, and she slowly became more animated, to the point where she actually took the bottle from Dell and downed the rest of the potion. “Jeez, chill out, will you? That shit ain’t...okay, it is magic, but still!”

Margreet giggled. “Oh, Dell, you worry too much! You know as well as I do how well these work!” Truly, she sounded as if she had never fallen in the first place. “I have to admit, it was nice seeing how much you care!”

“...well. I mean.” If androids could blush, Dell would probably be doing so. “We worked hard for this, y’know? Be a shame to just die off so close to the end.”

She smiled, putting her hand on his. “Well thank you. And thank you too, Shallot and Azel.” She turned to the two men.

“You probably don’t remember me very well-or at all! But my name is Margreet Zelle. It’s so good to see you again! I’m sorry I wasn’t there yesterday, I was-” Margreet gasped. “Naydra! I need to-”

She got up to get moving, but Dell grabbed her arm before she could. “Hold on. The others are handling it.”

“Still, there’s more I have to do!” Margreet pulled her arm away and started off climbing the mountainside.

"You literally almost died, Margreet!" Dell sighed, but followed. “That girl is gonna be the death of me…”

They got up to the Spring of Wisdom just in time for Kokkoro and Akuma to launch the final blows. The final eyes finally fell, and Naydra, now free of corruption, rested atop the mountaintop as she did before, only now in the full glory of an ice dragon.

“Thank you.” The voice from before spoke, now far clearer this time. “Naydra is the guardian of this spring, and has spent many a year trapped in Malice from the Great Calamity. As a result, my influence in this world decayed even further. But now, I can finally aid you all in your quest. Margreet.”

Margreet, who had rushed up to meet the others at the spring, nodded. “Right.” Producing a bow and arrow, she shot at Naydra’s body. A brilliant object fell to the snow, revealed to be one of her scales once Margreet picked it up.

“What I’m about to do will take some time,” she explained. “You can all go back to the village, now.”

Dell slapped his forehead. “Shit! The village! Fuck...I’ll keep guard, Margreet. The rest of you get back to Kakariko, ASAP.” As they left, they would see Margreet toss the scale into the spring, then get into the spring itself and begin to pray.

“R-Rustle! Rustle rustle rustle!!!” The shrub was panicking, until finally, it popped out of the shrub, Bomb Arrow poised at Enu.

BZZT!

He shrieked, falling to the ground as he shook with electric volts. From the door of the now extinguished house stood Kaito, the old woman sitting on the ground as she caught her breath.

“That’ll teach you to mess with this village!” he cried, helping the old woman to her feet. “Come on, guys. Let’s get back to Impa!”

They would be joined by the group at Impa’s House, who would be able to find that second bomb on the first floor, behind the painting. Dropping them into the nearby lake would keep everyone safe. Any Yiga members who had not been killed had simply retreated out of fear for their own lives.

As everyone gathered at the Great Fairy Fountain, Impa approached them all. “I have no words to express my gratitude to you all,” she said. “You saved our village, and our lives, as well.”

“Hey, we’re heroes, yeah? Man, I have no idea how we lost last time...we work so well together!”

"..." Impa did not respond.

Zelda stepped forward, looking around the group. “Is everyone all right? I hope none of you got injured…”

Kaito held his hand up. “Just cut my hand while protecting my sidekick over here. Nothing to it, rea-"

"...........”

Kaito suddenly rolled his eyes up and collapsed on the ground, the crowd gasping.

“Claree! What did he cut his hand on?!”

The Enchanted owner gulped. “J-Just a Yiga sickle…”

Zelda furrowed her brow. “A Yiga sickle shouldn’t have that effect...unless...oh no!” She rushed to Kaito’s side, lifting the part of his shirt with the black smudge.

“They laced their weapons with Malice!!”

Impa shook her head. “He needs medical attention immediately, before the infection gets worse. I’m afraid we can’t provide proper lodging for you all tonight; however, Margreet had arranged for you all to stay in Hateno Village even so. Bring Kaito there, and we should be able to help him.”

“But, Impa! What about Kakariko? All of you? The damage to the village must be-”

Impa smiled at the princess. “My child, the Yiga Clan has been a presence in our village for centuries. We will be just fine. You all need to rest after your hard work today. Take care, all of you.”

On the map, the Myahm Agana Shrine was the one to go to-it was directly inside the village. Zelda reluctantly sighed, but relented, slinging Kaito's arm over her shoulder and teleporting them away. As the group would follow (or not) the villagers waved goodbye, thanking them for all their hard work.

Hateno Village was a beautiful place, surrounded by lovely green fields. Everything here felt fresh; the air was crisp and clean, the waters were clear, and there was a feeling of peace and happiness all around. It was also far bigger than Kakariko Village, meaning living spaces wouldn’t be so cramped.

A small group of villagers had gathered to see the group arrive, murmuring amongst themselves with fascination as they all arrived. One man stepped forward. “Good evening, travellers. My name’s Reede, and I’m the head of Hateno Village. Welcome!”

A few moments later, Margreet and Dell would arrive. “Thank you for waiting, everyone! Dell told me all about the attack on Kakariko, and I can't thank you all enough for-oh!” Margreet gasped as she saw Kaito, who Zelda was helping. “What happened to him?!”

“H-He got cut with a Yiga sickle, and-”

“Fucking moron…” Dell muttered. “I can treat him. Just point me in the direction to go.”

“Kaito can stay in my-er, Link’s house,” Margreet said. “Anyone else who needs medical attention, head there too. Oh, and you can stay there for the night, Zelda, if you like."

“Thank you, but I would rather get to know the others...if you don’t mind, of course.”

“Not at all!” As Dell began carrying Kaito off to Link’s House, Margreet turned to them all. “Okay! I have living arrangements all prepared...feel free to switch, if you want.” Once again, each Slate had a stamp where the owner would be staying.

"Well, it certainly was not an Ice Arrow."

Deadpan retort aside, Jin simply shook his head before pulling out the goods he had bought in Kakariko Village, the Swift Carrots, goat butter, and egg which had all miraculously survived the explosion, "Not particularly, no. If any of this helps you decide or complete the dish, I would be happy to donate them."

As for the other matter, a solemn nod at first was the only response that the ronin had for him. While he wasn't certain what an ann-droid was, it seemed plausible that it would get in the way of Dell's wishes. Why else would it be his excuse for not doing what he wished? "Perhaps you might find a volunteer to help you then..." He offered after a moment before sighing, "Though I would suggest not tying her to me. My homeland... well, it does not take well to foreigners, and especially those who associate with ronin wanted by the central government."

Bad enough that simply landing on Japan would net one an execution via crucifixion or similar means. Being tied to him in some way and found out for it... it would be a much worse fate for whoever was connected to him.

"They're not very different from winters at home, which can be almost as harsh. There were some elixirs that made the cold up there bearable, however. Do you need help with anything?" he asked, kneeling beside her to take a look at the ingredients she was looking at.

He took a guess that a Snowquill set was some weather resist clothing. "I've been meaning to mention, there was a flower one of the other memebers and I came across, do they hold any significance in this world? Or can they be used in anything?" he pondered, pulling out the flower from earlier and showing her. The culture here was rather different, so he had some doubts about it's petals being used in any types of bread.

"Well, if each of the food items are free, then we may as well get some of each. With the right ingredients, you could say I'm a pretty good cook!" Guy said with a smile to Shovel Knight, putting his hands on his hips as he looked over the food items, before taking some of each; the mushrooms, the milk, the eggs, and the rice, "In fact, as far as recipes go, rice balls were one of the first recipes I ever learnt back home! Couldn't tell you how many times I had to make them for Lu--I mean... all my friends back home. They're quite fun to make, especially when you feel bold enough to experiment with other ingredients," he said, also to Wakaba as he kept on.

To the shop keeper, maintaining a charming smile, Guy spoke again. "More recipes would be lovely, thank you, if you'd please. We've traveled a great distance, and any sort of hospitality would be greatly appreciated."

Yuuki had a total of 12 Keese Wings and 3 Eyeballs. "I'll give you 6 Rupees for each wing, and 20 for each eye." He would point the others upstairs. "My daughter's recipe book is in her room. Feel free to look through it!"

Silque walked over to Celica and smiled at her fellow Mila worshipper. "Where would you like to go, Celica?" she asked.

@Minerva
Celica shrugged. "It doesn't matter to me." she said. "I'm just glad everyone's safe and mostly unharmed.

Meanwhile, Selesia would go to Nack's House Just to see her accommodations for the night.

Yuuki trades all his Keese Eyes & Keese Wings in. Gaining him a total of 132 Rupees to add to his 210. Afterwards, he purchases two Bomb Arrows. for a total of 100.

Overall, he had a gain of 32 Rupees.

Following that, he bows to the shopkeepsr in thanks, then briefly looks at the rest, considering joining them with their cooking sessions. He wasn't the best cook, which is why Kokkoro does a bulk of that.
