Nadeshiko was pretty much horrified at what she ran into. It scared her immensely. It was like running into an ongoing crime scene before the police ever showed up. God if she didn't feel helpless earlier, she definitely did now. She wasn't even being held hostage here, but the heavy and pained tension still struck her hard.

The harsh reality was that much for her, she didn't even realize that a few tears out of fear starting to trail down her face. What a mess she was. Despite that, she managed to force out words that were impulsively sitting in her mouth.

❝ You can't... ❞ She shook her head with no hesitation, clenching her fists with all sorts of emotions running through her mind and body. What could she do? Clearly she didn't know how to properly use those weapons she was given earlier, and that man would definitely do something if she did anything as to reach for those obvious weapons. She could tell that Kaito was pressed in this situation too, considering that the hostage demands were pinned on him.

The stress of the situation almost made her forget about her little aquatic animal friend hidden in her jacket pocket, feeling the frog wanting to leap out. She wanted to be useful somehow, but she didn't want to take a risk. A risk that would turn into a sacrifice out of something she bonded with. She honestly wanted to believe that they could talk this masked man down, but it felt almost impossible to her. What could've been her instant attempt at a solution, she herself felt like it wasn't worth the chance... All she could think about was a distraction, something that wouldn't be expected, even at the cost of her Kerokero. Gulping down in guilt about what she was going to do to Kerokero, Nadeshiko repeated those earlier words but in a faint voice, ❝ You... can't... ❞

As she was standing behind Kaito, she did her best to silently let out the frog from her jacket pocket, letting it land on the ground to let it hop freely. Probably from the fact that she's taken care of the frog up until this point, it was like the frog could perceive what was the clear threat to Nadeshiko here. All of that on top of the fact that the surroundings was also too chaotic for it to be calm in, the frog erratically leaped towards the masked Yiga's head!

Ellie sure didn't want to take a lift using that geyser if she couldn't tell where to land onto other than here, especially if it were to be a soft landing. Then there's the problem on getting warmth in this freezing cold.

❝ Fuck it. ❞ she grumbled as she abruptly decided to fire one of her fire arrows at the leftovers of the blown up rocks nearby, thinking to make a quick makeshift fire with these to warm the group up if it worked out.

Jin had follow the young girl who seemed to have been threatened earlier, having no one in particular he needed to protect. It seemed he had made the right choice to do so as he came to stand behind Kanto, shooting the Yiga assassin a disgusted glare. Using hostages in a ploy to isolate them... Dishonorable even if effective.

"You wish to extract a toll in blood for your master, and I wish to protect those girls. A duel between us two and us alone should suffice for that task. Even if it turns out that I am not the one who killed your master, would it not pain the one who did to lose a companion if you are skilled enough to strike me down, suitable vengeance at least for the moment?"

Though used to it, Shallot and Akuma were not immune to the cold. Everyone was now getting colder, and it was clear something needed to be done. While Ellie's attack on the rocks wouldn't do anything, Yuuki would see that, yes , there was a ledge rather high up thst the updract would carry him to.

"Our Master Kohga! Former leader of the Yiga Clan! That little brown-haired twerp knocked him into a ditch, and-!!!" The frog flew right in his face, startling the blademaster. It gave both 47 and Kaito time to attack, the former throwing his sword while the latter shot a Shock Arrow his way. Kaito quickly ran forward, urging everyone out of the building. "Come on, get outta here!" As the three Sheikah fled the scene, Kaito began running, until...

Thunk!

The blademaster, now recovered from the attacks, thrust his blade into the floor, through Kaito's pant leg. Kaito fell to the ground and struggled to get up, while the blademaster readied a bow and arrow to shoot Kaito with.

The bowman went down, as did the other ninja with Celica. There was still one more to deal with, who wielded a strange, circular blade.

The man vanished with a njnja technique, then suddenly reappeared a a puff of smoke behind Silque, raising his blade to attack!

A blur of motion, a flash of steel on a shaft of wood, and the encounter had grown vibrantly violent as Kaito took the shot and the bald-headed man threw his sword of all things. If Jin had time to admonish him for such misuse, he might have done so with stoic disappointment; yet now wasn't the time for lecturing another on how to use a blade properly. Now was the time to strike, and the swordmaster wasn't simply an ape aiming to lay about rather than deliver proper punishment.

"Fall, coward," Those were the only words that would be heard as the gleam of steel was unsheathed from its container, Jin's focus calming him as he stuck like a bolt of divine lightning. With a merciless slice, he aimed to disarm the assassin permanently by rendering him a cripple without hands to attack with, before following through and slashing through the man's stomach to quicken his end. Hopefully, Kaito would not grow upset over a shower of blood dirtying him for a moment due to the ronin's actions.

The one holding Olkin would fall to the ground, unconscious, as the old man helped his wife to her feet and took off. "Thank you, young man! You'll get as many pumpkins as you want, for life!!"

The Captor's words made Enu think, raising a hand to his head as he was about to say something else, but... Everything happened in a blur. A frog on the man's head... Kaito threatened, which Enu raised his shield, about to protect... And the man's hands being cut off, losing him his weapon...

It was his first time witnessing voilence to this degree, and understandably, Enu wasn't completely sure how to process this, frozen in place with his sword and shield drawn. It was only when Kaito spoke that he managed to nod, jolting him out of his stupor as he followed suit, realizing that there was definitely more than just that man in this Inn...​

As everyone had been checking themselves and after Kaito had affirmed his well-being, the ronin had slipped the sword he had obtained along with its sheathe into his belt, carefully testing it to ensure that it would not interfere with his draw in some way. Now though, he stood ready for their next trial giving each of them a reassuring nod despite his bother expression to show his commitment to their cause once more.

A lot had happened since Akane woke up this morning. A group hallucination, the discovery that they all had been thrust into a Murder Game, (not Akane's first,) and the arrival of Princess Zelda were among the events. All of that probably deserved attention, processing, and reflection, but not at the moment. The presence of the Yiga burning down a village was more important. Akane wasn't much for focus or thinking, anyhow. She was a woman of action.

Most immediately, her action was to enter The Curious Quiver. She charged in blindly, swinging her Stone Smasher and yelling,

The building that Reimu had entered, she had hoped it would be an empty house. She ducked to a corner immediately once she realised it was a store, and not just any store, but the High Spirit Produce store.

She was annoyed with herself, that she would go in a building without checking first. But her instincts usually don’t wrong her, right? Maybe not here.

As Peter fended then off, Yuuki collects the various eyes & wings of the beasts and pockets them. He soon returns to his battle stance, but then he realised the Keese were targeting...

No, he had faith in her abilities, as well as the abilities of those surrounding her. Kokkoro was his guide for a reason.

Meanwhile, Kokkoro stays deep in the shrine.

"They seem to be adapted to the cold, we will have an advantage as long as we fight within this shrine, even moreso with Fire Arrows," Kokkoro says as she begins to fire a volley of Shock Arrows at the winged ones to stun them, but then unleashed the full force of her Savage Lynel Spear upon them when they got near.

Nia blinked, and the Yiga brute holding her captive had fallen to his knees, crying out in agony at the sight of fountains of blood erupting violently from the stump his hands occupied not a moment ago, and his guts spilling from body. Her eyes wide and her ears stood straight and stiff, Nia breathlessly looked upon her saviour. A peerless, short-spoken ronin, mercilessly slaying her captor and rescuing her from captivity.

Sighing, Nia clambered to her feet. "Thanks fer savin' me, guys. The big bugger got the drop on me, I admit," thanked Nia while she idly rearmed herself, "But anyhow, what say we get to moppin' up the rest of these goons, eh?" With boomerangs in hand, Nia ran out the door to at last join the battle, passing Jin one last glance before exiting.

Stepping out into the dirt roads of the town, Nia took in the full image of Kakariko under siege, but it was hardly a sightseeing venture. As her eyes fell upon the clearing in the very centre of town she found what - or rather who - she was looking for.

"Yah!" Rex shouted, his blade meeting the gnarled steel thorns signature of a Yiga warrior's weapon with a sharp clang! Struggling to repel the ruthless raider's attack, Rex caught at the corner of his eye a lizal boomerang fly past, followed by a dull thud and low yelp. Rex didn't flinch, but the Yiga warrior bearing down on him gasped at the sight, and his head snapped around to peer over his shoulder, perhaps fearful a second boomerang would be coming for him. Granted a glaring opening in the warrior's defense, Rex twisted his windcleaver and delivered a harsh kick to the Yiga warrior's gut. As the warrior stumbled backward, Rex slashed the air, launching a gust of slicing wind that blew the Yiga warrior off his feet. Turning around to at last view the lizal boomerang's mark, Rex found just who he was looking for pulling the boomerang free from a slumped Yiga warrior's form.

"Nia!" Rex exclaimed. "What? You didn't think I'd lose to the likes of these mooks, did ya?" Nia responded with a smirk. Rex smiled back. "Not for a second! C'mon, we gotta make sure Impa's Hut hasn't been raided! I got a nasty feelin' these Yiga guys 'ave come lookin' for something," With a nod from Nia, the two Drivers made off to investigate Impa's Hut.

The Produce Shop has four Yiga clansmen surrounding the carrot farmer known as Steen, who stands outside wielding only a soup ladle and pot lid. Not the best protection, but he's managed to hold off the enemy ninjas that long.

"Stay away from my wife, you traitors!!" Steen cried, swinging the ladle.

"Us? We're the traitors? This entire village is an insult to the Sheikah lineage! You give up our technology for those pampered Hylians...and you've been guarding that failure of a princess for the past year! It's a disgrace!!" He knocks Steen down to the ground. "I'd tell you to stick around for the surprise our new Master will be leaving for her and your dear elder...but you won't live to see it!!!"

Lasli's House is already on fire, as it seems the Yiga footsoldiers have already done their job. The poor old woman is nowhere in sight...there's nothing that can be done. Or is there?

Those headed to the Curious Quiver are in for a surprise, as on the ground are defeated Yiga soldiers, littered with arrows. Going inside, the owner of the shop, a woman named Rola, looked at Akane as she stormed in. "Sorry, dear, but you missed all the action." She ran a hand through her hair and sighed. "I have to admit, this is more excitement than I've had in a while...ever since that idiot husband of mine fell in love with those dumb birds of his." She looks out the window, towards Cado's House. "I haven't seen him outside fighting...maybe I should go check up on him."

Kaito burst into the Enchanted Clothing Store, Lynel Sword drawn and ready. "Come and get some, you cowards!!"

The two footsoldiers stopped what they were doing and looked at him, then charged. They were both occupied with him, leaving Enu undetected. Everything was damaged, clearly a sign of a struggle, but even so one detail seemed off: the outfit known as the Stealth Armor is missing from its display. And where is the shopkeeper?

As Impa and Paya were safe at the Fairy Fountain, Impa's House went unoccupied. The lower level was actually rather...peaceful, compared to the outside. Guess there's nothing here that's odd.

Those headed to the Curious Quiver are in for a surprise, as on the ground are defeated Yiga soldiers, littered with arrows. Going inside, the owner of the shop, a woman named Rola, looked at Akane as she stormed in. "Sorry, dear, but you missed all the action." She ran a hand through her hair and sighed. "I have to admit, this is more excitement than I've had in a while...ever since that idiot husband of mine fell in love with those dumb birds of his." She looks out the window, towards Cado's House. "I haven't seen him outside fighting...maybe I should go check up on him."

Akane quickly ran over to Cado's house with her Stone Smasher still at the ready.

The Produce Shop has four Yiga clansmen surrounding the carrot farmer known as Steen, who stands outside wielding only a soup ladle and pot lid. Not the best protection, but he's managed to hold off the enemy ninjas that long.

"Stay away from my wife, you traitors!!" Steen cried, swinging the ladle.

"Us? We're the traitors? This entire village is an insult to the Sheikah lineage! You give up our technology for those pampered Hylians...and you've been guarding that failure of a princess for the past year! It's a disgrace!!" He knocks Steen down to the ground. "I'd tell you to stick around for the surprise our new Master will be leaving for her and your dear elder...but you won't live to see it!!!"

Kaito burst into the Enchanted Clothing Store, Lynel Sword drawn and ready. "Come and get some, you cowards!!"

The two footsoldiers stopped what they were doing and looked at him, then charged. They were both occupied with him, leaving Enu undetected. Everything was damaged, clearly a sign of a struggle, but even so one detail seemed off: the outfit known as the Stealth Armor is missing from its display. And where is the shopkeeper?

As Impa and Paya were safe at the Fairy Fountain, Impa's House went unoccupied. The lower level was actually rather...peaceful, compared to the outside. Guess there's nothing here that's odd.

As many of their members toom care of the Keese, Azel helped them, before taking a Spicy Elixir and drinking it. With that he left the shrine to find Dell with the rest of his group whether they decided to leave then or not.

Out of adrenaline and cockiness, Reimu impulsively came out of her hiding spot and fired some sloppy arrows at the members, she shot quite a few arrows, but she did it quickly so probably some failed to hit the target by a long shot.
“Stay right there! Keep away from the couple, traitors.”
The shrine maiden showed no fear, even if she was afraid, she had a good track record of winning. The girl stared at the members and slowly walked towards them, Windcleaver in hand.

“If you consider each other traitors, then the one attacking is guilty. If you had simply avoided them instead of attacking, I would not have bothered you. But you have, so I take the side of the village.”
She seemed hellbent on protecting the village, and stopping them from hurting the villagers espically.
