I can expand on it, if you want, I have a whole album to use. Please link me to character creation, I'll look over it and get started tomorrow. Magic stuff will be cool!

I'm seeking players to take part in a storyline coming up very soon that is much more important to the overall mythology of Gods Among Men.

I present to you a storyline I call Joker's Last Laugh.

The storyline revolves around the return of the Joker Gang in Gotham City five years after the Joker's was thought to be dead following a confrontation with The Batman.

The reappearance of the Jokers draws the attention of the GCPD, local crime fighters, the mobs, reporters, and most importantly, The Batman.

Seemingly molded into professional street soldiers, The Batman, his allies, and the media take it upon themselves to see if the Clown Prince has returned or if someone else has usurped control of the gang.

They'll soon learn that things are not as simple as they used to be.

I thought I posted this already, but I guess I didn't. I'm looking for players to take part in some magic-themed storylines. Occult investigators, professional sorcerers, members of the Cult of Blood, or maybe someone who took an interest in supposedly magical artifacts, the choice is yours.

For those who play the magical types in this RP, or who plan to, I put together some information, and kind of rules, about magic in the RP.

http://www.storytellerscircle.com/threads/magic-demons-and-you.2209/

Feel free to give it a read, and also let me know if roll effects, probably using the D20 system as a basis, is an idea you would like to see in regards to the negative effects of using certain magic.

Thanks to a recent burst of inspiration, I could use players interested in playing members of the US Government and civilian roles for a developing storyline. CIA agents, politicians, journalists, etc. There's also a lot of room for supers who work for the government as well.

The aforementioned developing storyline now has a name and a synopsis now that I have really worked out what kind of story it will be.

It is called Liberty or Death, and it begins with the emergence of an anti-government terrorist group consisting of metahumans, aliens, and their human allies as they fight against what they see as tyrannical policies targeting people who are different.

Wrapped in the American flag, this terrorist group, who dub themselves the Sons of Liberty, will do anything to bring about their revolution.

Their presence only serves to divide the American people even further on issues concerning metahumans and aliens.

I put together an updated list of available storylines if anyone would like to take part in any of them specifically, but they aren't required as Gods Among Men is still driven by the characters for the most part.

Fear Itself

Yellow Lantern rings, powered by fear, are distributed to all manner of criminal around the world. The Green Lanterns, with the help of their allies on Earth, investigate and hope to round up all of the rings.

They prove dangerous in the hands of otherwise ordinary people and criminals, their power being seen as addictive. Civilians are caught in the middle of violence created by this new weapon that begins to effectively replace your typical handgun.

Criminals fight to corner this new black market, while the police and their costume colleagues fight to keep these dangerous weapons off the streets.

Gods and Titans

The Cult of Blood, infamous for worshipping the otherworldly demon Trigon, begin to resurface in Metropolis and Gotham City. They begin recruiting new members through force and evangelizing, growing more and more violent as they also grow in number.

John Constantine, the Titans, the Sentinels of Magic, and other independent do-gooders work to stop the cult before they can finish whatever it is that they're planning.

But, will they be too late?

No Justice, No Peace

The world, especially America, are growing increasingly divided into two groups. Those who support the Justice League and other heroes, seeing them as larger-than-life figures, and those who grow increasingly frustrated with the apparent impunity in which they seem to act.

In response to this, the US Government, with Project Cadmus, unveil their own hero, Sanctuary, in Washington D.C. to the world.

Houses are divided, tensions continue to grow until their are violent clashes in the streets.

Which side do you land on?

Gotham City Blues

An ongoing mob war in Gotham City between the Dent Organization and The False Face Society, led by rogue FBI agent Philip Roarke, has been growing increasingly violent, the police and vigilantes barely able to keep it under control.

The crime becomes so pervasive that it seeps into civilian lives, and eventually takes them, forcing the mayor to make a decision.

Joker's Last Laugh
No one thought they would see the return of the Joker Gang in Gotham City five years after the Joker was thought to have been killed following a confrontation with The Batman.

Go Home

With the Earth increasingly involved in intergalactic affairs, a backlash towards aliens and anyone thought to be alien has occurred. Spearheading the anti-alien movement is television personality G. Gordon Godfrey, backed by many zealous pro-Earth organizations.

It's not a good time to be green or flying a saucer without a license.

The Cradle, The Graves

Author David Graves, writer of Justice League: Gods Among Men, has been missing for nearly three years with his family. Worried, his publisher hires anyone he can, from private detectives to freelance journalists, to find Graves and make sure he's okay.

Liberty or Death

Political tensions leads to the emergence of anti-government terrorist group consisting of metahumans, aliens, and their human allies fighting against what they see as tyrannical policies targeting people who are different.

Wrapped in the American flag, this terrorist group, who dub themselves the Sons of Liberty, will do anything to bring about their revolution.

Their presence only serves to divide the American people even further on issues concerning metahumans and aliens.

Due to a user going on hiatus to handle real life, the Joker storyline is going to take a back seat and be replaced by a different, more interconnected storyline.

The storyline will focus on the creation of a security system designed to gather information on threats to society before they can become threats and aid the law and government in monitoring or stopping them.

With the help of Aries Cyric (Played by Faithy), Bruce Wayne works on perfecting the system, so that he can begin living a somewhat normal life without The Batman persona.

Mixing the concept with his own budding artificial intelligence, Bruce Wayne finds that taking humanity out of the equation can have unintended consequences.

This storyline I call, Big Brother Eye. I'm looking for anyone interested in taking part as criminals types, superpowered individuals, and really anything you can think of.

Because of real life I had to disappear and as a result this RP was shelved indefinitely.

A few people have asked me about it, and I tell them what was just stated above.

But, if there is enough interest I'm not against opening it back up with some revisions and a slightly different direction.

Can we do OCs? Or are we playing as existing characters? Is there a character sheets if we can play as OCs? I would love to participate, if it's still open.
