Wind blew across the blue waters of the lake, light from the slowly sinking sun dancing on the ripples. Seo-Yeon hadn't needed to walk far to find this place, thankfully. She knew she wouldn't be able to make it to the next town before the sun went down. Regardless of the fact her new partner was capable of being a source a light, Seo-Yeon didn't feel comfortable traveling in the dead of night. Camping out, sure, but not traveling. So she would explore the lake area today, and sleep back in Cloudberry when night came.
Pyrrhus walked by her side, keeping an eye on the environment. Wandering down to the lakeside, the trainer crouched and dipped her fingers in the water. Not too cold, but she wasn't looking to swim. She looked back to see her Chimchar keeping a careful distance from the shore.
"Not a big fan, huh?"
Pyrrhus gave an almost exasperated huff.
"Well, we need to get to know each other better," Seo-Yeon continued, "And I've found the best way to know someone is to have little adventures."
The fire chimp was still wary of the lake, but he did settle down closer to her. She scooted back to where he was, content to watch the sky.
"I can wait 'til you're comfortable."
