Unaware about the eventual collapse of reality, Gundham kept firing at the Tank, confident from the belief that the bullets are causing it to decohere into an astral plane. As the Tank slammed it's fists unto the ground, he leapt to avoid the tremors and landed closer to what used to be a car before aiming at it's forehead and p

Gundham woke up in complete darkness, slightly pained and significantly disoriented from the spontaneous shift of environment. Noticing how he is now in what might be a world of darkness, the first thing he did was to check for his hamsters.
"San-D, Jum-P, Cham-P, Maga-Z," he counted the Dark Devas within his scarf. Though the bird may no longer be present, at least his faithful companions are.
Now that the questions of whether or not his hamsters are still with him has been answered, a new question came into light: What is this dark void? It could be Limbo, it could be purgatory, or maybe even Hell itself. "Either of the three is fitting for a Dark Lord of Ice," he thought to himself, ready to accept such a fate as he ignores the unfamiliar murmurs in the darkness. Then the lights turned on...
He realized that he is stuck in what appears to be a laboratory with people whose names he have yet to know, though he has a feeling that they had experienced an ordeal just like the one that he remembered being involved in most recently. He spent the rest of his time making a guess on what might happen next, until a male voice from a speaker made itself known.
"Another one of these..." Gundham sighed in irritation. Just by the fact that he is standing in a room with numerous strangers gave him the guess that he is put in yet another Killing Game, with a different Mastermind who works for an apparently different reason: The search for knowledge. All that is lacking is an annoying animal that explains the rules. He listened to the voice for a while...
Nothing happened for what felt like a long moment, though eventually something shifted behind the hole. A voice then came out of some unseen speaker.
"Welcome all to the next phase of our trial," a male voice said. "We are conducting an experiment. Our first phase required subjects to be unaware of certain matters, but upcoming phases require some level of informed engagement."
Arya stood silently with fury behind her eyes. Despite the look she was giving, she seemed calm, as if this was hardly a strange development for her. Emily Pope let out a small gasp, looking far more distressed.
"As some of you may be aware, individuals across the multiverse project certain resonances that are generally unique to them. However, certain other individuals project resonances so nearly alike that they may as well be identical. We refer to them as twins. Of course, this phenomenon is hardly limited to pairs but higher numbers are outside the scope of this current trial."
"Trial?!" Pope burst out. "Who are you people?"
She was ignored.
"In trying to determine how these twins interact, we have reached the phase where we must directly force conflict between them. In another room, just like yours, exist the same number of people listening to the same message. These other individuals are your multiversal twins. Chances are they are rather different from you, but we are interested in finding out just how alike these twins are beyond just their resonances."
A section of the wall pulled aside to reveal a single button.
"A button will have been revealed in both rooms. Pressing the button will cause the other room to collapse, killing all inside. Pressing it will also deactivate the button in the other room, ensuring all of you will live. In other words, whichever group presses the button first will survive."
The voice paused.
"... You have five minutes."
The talk about 'twins' and 'resonances' strike completely knew to him, just like how the babbles of 'hope' and 'despair' sounded esoteric when he witnessed he last participated in such violent events, simulated or not.
"Straightforward with your goals, disembodied voice," Gundham commented as the button showed itself. He noticed a woman (Wanda Maximoff) advance towards the button with the intent to press it, he began to make his own advance towards it, beginning to finalize his stance towards such actions.
