Unpopular opinions!

Ah, I have a little extra to add.

Pornography is not artistic, and only appeals to the primitive instinct to orgasm. Lust is inherently selfish, and it can lead to awful things. Ever heard of pedophilia and rape?
As someone intimately familiar with both things and not in a pleasant light, I beg to disagree. Lust is the drive for humans to procreate and to establish intimate relations with our fellow humans. The only thing that's selfish there is when one exploits the pain and sufferings of others for their own lustful pursuits, and that is rarely the case.

If anything, trying to deny bliss from others because of an attempt at elitism is extremely selfish and self-absorbed.

I am sorry, I could have said that better. Lust is indeed the desire to procreate and love someone, but it can lead to bad habits. Thank you for adding to this and correcting my mistake.

I don't see the need for political parties and titles for people who view things on a different political scale that you do. In my opinion, all parties are right and wrong. They can provide facts and lies just as easily as the other. You choose what you agree with and that's that. If you want to be racist, or sexist or whatever other ist there is go for it. Just don't think yourself high and mighty because you may view something as right and someone else disagrees with you.

People seemed to have gotten really sensitive, America especially, over opinions and even flat out proven facts calling political correctness. It's honest bs. People are going to say things you don't like, so what? If the words are not threatening your live or aren't involve in any harrassment, why should people watch what they say for "sensitivity?"

Back to the math thing, most people who don't like math say, "Oh, I wouldn't need it, unless I became a math teacher." That's ridiculous logic. Math is one of the setting stones in a lot of careers. Some even needing a base degree in Calculus to be applicable for the job.

The way I see it, political parties are "Cookie Cutters". They shave off the opinions and facts unique to you due to the average party members belief. You might be a liberal that disagrees with abortion, but claiming liberalism might make people assume you support it. Not the best example, but you get what I mean?

I think everyone should only judge themselves when it comes to views of any sort, if you make bad food, people should just not go there, then the owner knows something is wrong.
Someone being rascist? Everyone should ignore them, hard to make fun of someone if noone is talking to you.
Someone Using any sort of derogatory statement? Who cares, it's either used jokingly or you can just ignore it.

People these days are too easily offended, myself included, now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go scream at anyone who thinks I'm wrong (joking :3)

I don't like Harry Potter. Or Star Wars. Or Star Trek. Or Divergent. Or pizza. Or anything that most people like.

I need a life.

I think the Earth and its inhabitants would be better off if humans stopped killing and torturing other sentient beings for their own personal enjoyment.

My unpopular opinion would have to be that we are all probably being manipulated on a subconscious level by psychopaths who have made it into the top rungs on the corporate and governmental ladder using knowledge of advanced psychology unknown to the masses.

I didn't enjoy the Witcher 3 as much as people made it out to have been.
Like I get some aspects of why people like the game for example how pretty it is or how you can ship the character with love interests etc.
I found it to be repetitive and honestly found more enjoyment out of the card game Gwent than the actual RPG itself.

I have a lot of unpopular opinions so I guess I'll have to bullet point them to prevent too many run-on sentences. Also sorry if this makes me sound pompous and negative, I'm usually a very positive and happy person.
  • I dislike the Disney movie Sleeping Beauty but love the live-action Maleficent movie. I'm sorry but the only good things about the original Sleeping Beauty for me were Maleficent, Aurora's singing voice, and the animation. The live-action movie for me had better character development, more action, and a more positive message for children.
  • I dislike Adventure Time, Steven Universe, and Regular Show. For Regular Show the characters just aggravated me too much to like it, for Adventure Time the animation is beautiful but the show didn't really seem like me, and for Steven Universe the same reasoning for Adventure Time applies here but I also feel like the fanbase is rabid and treats the show like gold when I personally found it okay.
  • I liked Iron Man 2 and disliked Iron Man 3. Okay for this one I honestly don't know why but wa la.
  • I dislike hamburgers, hotdogs, donuts, and most fruit. For donuts I only like the icing, for hamburgers I just cannot stand the texture and taste, most fruit is just not my thing, and hot dogs are just meh.
  • I dislike A Bug's Life. It just felt really boring to me.
  • I only found Shrek okay. Some moments of it were funny and stuff but for the most part it felt very contrived and bleak.
  • I have never watched Dan and Phil and PewDiePie and never will. Their channels don't seem like me.
  • I love Brussel Sprouts and most vegetables. Always have and always will.
  • I don't think that Justin Bieber should get the worst of punishments. Like seriously guys just because he's a bad musician in a lot of people's personal opinions doesn't mean that he should die or anything. Just stay away from his music, that's what I do.
  • I dislike the movie Grease. The premise is so stupid, it's literally just 1950's High School Musical made in the 1970's.
  • I dislike the song "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper. I am sorry '80's music fans but the song just sounds very teeny bopper.
  • I dislike Melanie Martinez. There's nothing wrong with liking her but I don't see the appeal to be honest.
  • Space Jam is not that bad. This may be a shocker to a lot of people but apparently critics hate Space Jam. Well I disagree with them by saying that Space Jam is an enjoyable movie.
  • The 2009 movie Push deserved a sequel. I don't get why it wasn't as successful as some other movies. The concept was cool, the setting was unique, and the plot was engaging. So why didn't it do very well in the box office? The acting was good and I liked the characters (for the most part). So why didn't it get a sequel? It had such an unsatisfying cliffhanger. Like who is Cassie's mother? And did Kira kill the bad guy? If not, then who fired that last shot?
  • Sebastian Stan is not the greatest guy ever. Okay this is more of a Marvel Cinematic Universe fanbase thing but I feel like a lot of the fangirls of that fanbase only praise the character Bucky and Captain America by their "precious cinnamon roll" relationship when I'm just like, "I don't care about that." Oh and I feel like a lot of the MCU fangirls only praise him and Chris Evans (the guy who plays Captain America) just because they're attractive which I personally find kind of degrading.
  • I dislike the concept of shipping. I could go on about this but I really don't want to, this reply is already long enough as is.
Alright well those were some of my unpopular opinions and hopefully the next time I make a reply it will be a more positive sounding one.

I think most people on this site like some kind of anime
Eh I'm a casual fan of it myself. But I personally cannot stand weaboos or people who are constantly like, "Senpai! Oh my gosh I love you senpai!" Now those guys make me kind of embarrassed to like some anime (which I mainly watch for either plot, characters, and/or animation).

I don't like hamburgers. Or steak. Or lasagna.

What I do like? Peanut Butter and Pickle Sandwiches. Delicious! :emoji_hearts::emoji_hearts::emoji_hearts: I even recommend adding a few slices of onion, though not very much, and not all the time.

Let's see... what else...

Starbucks Sucks. Granted, all I've had is their plain coffee, but it is the nastiest coffee I have ever had.

People shouldn't get offended by the use of the word retarded used as an insult. That's... retarded. *ba dum dum ch!*

People are offended too much in general, actually.

Love at first sight, and first love being your true love, does happen. They're not common, and I'm not saying either will happen to any of you, or even to me, but I think they're possible.

I admit it - my generation has (in general) lost a lot of good moral values. Though I still stand by some, I think it's a disgrace how early kids are having/talking about sex. It's very simple: don't want an STD or pregnancy? Don't do it. All protection has a fail rate. You just have to stay away.

Just because you're older doesn't mean you know more, or that you automatically deserve respect. Respect is earned and knowledge is gained through specific experiences.

I liked the lemon iced tea mints Ice Breaker had. :emoji_lemon:

Totinos IS different now that they're square, and they don't taste near as good. Bring back the round pizzas!

The Spongebob Squarepants Movie Sequal isn't that bad. It's not the first one, but who really expected it to be?

I, personally, wish people would stop saying they have illnesses they don't have. Just because there was a small detailed placed wrong doesn't mean you have OCD, because you felt sad this one time doesn't mean you're depressed, and, of course, you don't have PTSD if you hurt yourself cooking.

More of a pet peeve but eh.

I don't like mashed potatoes. Like, I'll eat them if it's the only thing in the world to eat, or if I'm being polite, but I don't like them. I also don't like coffee, even if it's 90% chocolate. I can only eat either pepperoni pizza or cheese pizza. I also have that pet peeve of when people use Japanese honorifics at the end of everything, or are just unprofessional. "Senpai! Mewww! ^-^" I literally cringe. I even know some people who are like that in real life and it's so hard to not offend them just because of my reactions.

I always cringe at the "Senpai!!!!! Mewwwwwww!!!!!!! Kawaiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!" people as well. And what's worse is that 98% of these people aren't even Japanese. They're typically Western (and probably white) girls pretending to be Japanese and I hate it when people pretend to be something they're not. Like I'm half Indian but I don't pretend that I'm a full on expert on India, nor do I pretend that I'm German just because I take the language at school. Gosh weaboos just anger me to the core.

Wait.. People actually do that? I thought that was just some overused joke.
I have only used it ironically or sarcastically in my life, never used it any other way..
