When the man spoke again she looked at the smaller device, water was this 'leather', it looked like the same stuff the clothes were made from. Was he describing the material, regardless she took a moment to process the picture and the word he said before speaking. She pointed to the picture of clothing on the computer screen, "Leather?" Agape looked pleased with herself as the smaller device beeped registering the word as correct with the same image it had produced before. She was learning quickly, though she wished there was a faster method, but, nothing could be done about that at the moment so she'd simply have to make due.

When the man spoke again she blinked, she had said it correctly yet it sounded different when he said it. She didn't quite understand why he had changed the words but settled for leaving it be."Clothes chose-en." She nodded successfully mocking him, he was a good teacher. Her grandfather would probably have passed out from shock in learning that those children's fables were true. When she thought about it her people as a whole would have been shocked. When he said a new word she looked at the device, "Mor-ing Arriv." The pronunciation was a bit rough but she had the jist. From what the pictures had shown she assumed that once the sun rose the clothes would come, not that she minded but she did wish to get out of her own.

Agape's eyes flicked from the device to the man as he yawned, was he tired? Xolmeanian's slept like humans, a lot of their actions were similar though Agape wasn't aware. But nights on the planet were filled with bright glow in the darkness, from the lake trees and sometimes the animals. This place she was in the night sky looked a little darker to her. She wondered what the man felt in the moment, would it be rude if she decided to peek into his emotions? It had become obvious to her that the customs here were different. If she knew how she thought she would ask permission, but settled for waiting until she could communicate better to peek into his mind.

Her mind had trailed off and she had been staring off for a while until she felt his eyes on her, seeing him eye her she smiled and looked up at him kindly. It had registered then to her that they hadn't exchanged names. She wondered if it would be easier to communicate if they were aware of it. Agape smiled and pointed to herself, "Agape Meihiri." Her own green eyes bore into his determined to get past the obvious language barrier they had. She pointed her finger at herself again, "Agape." After repeating her own name in hopes of introducing herself she thought she might hug him, her people did so as a greeting so she thought no harm. Feeling this was the right course of action she went to give him a small hug, "Onit." She was aware he wasn't familiar with the word but she had responded with a hello of her own when they first met and he waved at her, so hopefully, if his memory was good he wouldn't be too confused.

Daniel nodded along as she confirmed the word after, she was getting things down pretty quickly. He definitely needed to find her a better program than a translator to help, a full language educator program has been most likely designed so he could look into getting her setup with that in the morning. The device he ordered for her should be able to handle it, and he would just have to wait for tomorrow to see the results that would come from it. That in itself would be a good test to see what her race was like, as he was already gathering a bit of information about her relative intelligence as she seemed to comprehend his language just fine.

Knowing just how early it would arrive led to a good plan, and he figured that he could get her speaking the language with the week at most - his personal schedule was a bit free, but he did have his Sierran application to keep in mind. The job he had accepted would take him away from the Nexus, and he wasn't certain for how long, which would prove rather difficult if his patient was relying on him for anything. Taking a moment to look her over again, he decided that she would mostly be fine if not cooped up if he were to leave - he could have family look after her if the event arose and he was certain that he could get enough to entertain her here in the ship should she decide to learn some things on her own.

Yes, that would be for the best. He still had a few days till he expected to hear back from the Sierran's, but it would be enough time to get her prepared and setup to do a few things on her own and find a guardian to look after her in case of his departure. Lost in thought his eyes were still on her, but at a motion of her hands his attention refocused to take in her changes. She was smiling - and rather brightly too, but it was her hands that caught his eye as he watched her point towards herself and speak her own language. Wait, was this an introduction? Daniel waited a moment as she did the gesture again - repeating the first name. Interesting, they shared a similar form of first and last in her culture. That would make things easier. He took a moment to return her smile and point towards himself, "Daniel Vitae." He repeated, "Daniel." If that was enough to set him apart, he may be able to distinguish family members for her at a later date. He was thinking of a way to get his Uncle involved again when she reached out and gave him a rather small hug.

Blinking in a bit of confusion Daniel at first hesitated, sighing softly before returning the gesture and hugging her back. He was a bit more firm, but he was wary of putting any pressure on her injured waist. Onit? His memory recalled her first greeting with it, and given how short it was he figured it shared a similar common origin to their hello - short and sweet for practical purposes. As he let the hug go he moved a bit back, and waved once more - but this time saying "Hello" in tandem, to which his phone beeped and showed a similar image of someone waving and saying hello. At least that one was simple.

Greeting aside, Daniel made a move to get up and lift his ceremonial blade off the nearby couch and strap it to his belt once more. It didn't bode well to leave weapons lying around with a guest, taking his coat off the couch as well he slid it over his forearm and turned back towards Agape. "Follow." With a quick grab he picked his phone back up as well, it's beep showing the same sign as earlier for follow before he went on to lead her to a guest room.

Finding one near his own, he waited for her to catch up before pressing the mag lock that would open the sliding door for her room. While it lacked decoration, it had soft reds and golden trim about for blankets and furniture. A wardrobe, a dresser, a work desk with it's own monitor., and a small bed were found in the guest room. Enough for someone to work and get by with, but still not meant to be overly luxurious. "Agape, room." Daniel repeated, his phone beeping as it shared a picture of a different room, this one a bit more decorated and home-y on his phone for her to see.

Agape was pleased when the man copied her movements and introduced herself, she let out a small pleased hum at this. Communication was getting easier for this with for her was a relief, she was sure she could learn this language in less than a few days as long as she could get a hold of one of those beeping devices. When Daniel returned her hug she smiled, it seems that he didn't mind her greeting, and now they were a bit more acquainted. It would help now that she knew his name. Once Daniel waved again she looked between the device and him before bringing her attention fully to him and speaking. "Hel-low Dan-niel." Agape mocked his waved once again and gave him yet another smile.

Once the man moved she started sharing around again, looking at the objects she might have missed. Tomorrow if her wound permitted she would settle for exploring. She did take note that things in this place were much larger than she expected, or maybe she was just small in comparison? She heard the man speak but hadn' paid enough attention to catch his words until the little device beeped. "Fo-low Dan-niel." Agape was speaking mostly to herself and looked up trailing behind him to the room.

Once the door slid open she turned to look at the mechanism that made the door slide open. She looked into the cracks trying to find out what magic made it disappear, on her home planet they used crystals to separate the rooms. Once Daniel spoke she glanced at him, looking past him she noticed the room. Agape looked around in awe and rushed around the room looking at stuff. She picked up the blankets and unfolded them rubbing them against her face before dropping them as the monitor caught her attention. She moved around it poking at its exterior details before bringing her attention to Daniel.

Though she had taken note of his words, she didn't quite understand what he meant by room. The picture showed her a similar space with many decorations but she didn't quite understand the sentence. Was this his room? "Agape room? Daniel room?" She mocked his first sentence, maybe that was just the way to talk about rooms was with the other person's name. She followed the mockery with a sentence of her own assuming that it was just common. Agape blinked and felt a wave of tiredness flush over her, she yawned and sat on the ground to balance herself. It had been a long and very interesting day to her. The effects of her wound were finally catching up to her body and caused the exhaustion.

As Agape started to explore the room Daniel stood by the door frame and watched politely, allowing her to investigate everything on her own time. There wasn't a lot of fragile items in the room so he wasn't too worried about losing anything valuable, nor was there anything that could pose a threat to her so she should be more than safe in the room for the next few nights if that was what it took. "Agape's room, yours." Daniel spoke to confirm as she looked back to him and said both - this time point at her, then opening his palm and gesturing towards the rest of the room. He took a side step back out of the room as she made her way to the floor and sat, while her exhaustion was now apparent he still had a few things he needed to cover before going to bed. "Daniel's room, mine." He said pointing down the hall; it was at the very end as it was a bit larger.

"Wait." Daniel said, this time with a hand gesture that he had used earlier while she was in the med bay before he moved on to his own room. While she had clothes coming in the morning, he didn't expect her to sleep in the bloodstained outfit she had now - and unfortunately he didn't keep any sleep wear for guests inside the ship. Typically when others stayed over it was patients fully expecting treatment who came prepared to stay a few days for oversight, so Daniel sorted through his wardrobe for what would work and ended up settling for a white dress shirt and a pair of sweat pants that he had in the room. "It'll have to do, don't know if the pants will fit well but the shirt might act more like a dress." He spoke to himself, thinking it through before shrugging it off and making his way back to the hallway.

As he got back to the door Daniel knocked at the frame to get her attention once more, he had left it open but would make certain to show her how it closed and opened should she need it. "Agape, clothes." He offered, stepping inside the room so he could hand them over to her. The last thing he would need to do is show her the restroom, that part he wasn't looking forward to - hopefully her culture shared a similar build of the room, but it should be rather apparent all the same.

Agape watched his clarification, so this was her room. It was a little darker in tone than she was used to but was comfortable nonetheless. When Daniel pointed down the hall she nodded slowly, taking in his words. His sleeping area was elsewhere, she didn't mind. Being alone was something she had done while traveling for three years. Before she had begun her travels she had slept in a room with her pet Frein, a friend was an animal a bit like a house cat. Only with bright colored fur, three tails, and they varied with up to six eyes. The remainder of her pet made her miss her family, she wondered when he would see them again.

Daniel's words pulled her from her homesickness and she nodded. Once he left she pulled herself up to explore the room more, she had discovered the bathroom. Which unlike what you would expect was a lot like her home planets, only the toilet had this strange flushing mechanism that made the water disappear. Xolmeani had many natural ways that disposed of waste, one most common was an animal, much like the dung battle only much larger. She played with the flushing mechanism for a few brief moments laughing at the housing sound before moving back to the main part of the room. Yawning once more she sat at the spot on the floor she was sitting before.

When Daniel knocked she lifted her gaze and smiled tiredly as he walked in, she stood up to grab the clothes and held them up examining the fabric. Glancing at him curiously she lifted the clothes as though to gesture to them, "Agape clothes?" Tilting her head she waited for confirmation before walking over to place them on the bed. She supposed it was a good time to change. Agape lifted up her shirt with little concern for Daniel being in the room. Her people were after all unaffected by male and female differences and held little knowledge or traits of shame or embarrassment. Without glancing at his reaction to this, unaware that it might make him uncomfortable, she peeled off her shirt and pulled his own over her head. The motion luckily went smoothly because she was small, it made her hair poof but otherwise, she had done is successful.

The shirt itself was longer than she had expected, the sleeves hung empty where her arms didn't fill and covered her body a few inches before her knee. As Daniel thought it was indeed more of a dress than a shirt. Pulling off her pants she pulled his sweatpants over her legs, they were much too long for her but fit her hips snuggly. She turned to face Daniel and smiled, "Clothes!" She had a happy gleam n her eyes, the clothes he had given her were comfortable. Though she was having trouble moving in the pants that were an easy fix as she sat down and pulled the legs up until they were above her ankle. Now thankfully the pants just bunched up at her ankles, and she wouldn't trip.

The ringing of the toilet noises was enough to alert him that she had found the restroom, and thankfully if she had figured out how to work the water mechanism he trusted that she would be able to figure out the rest on her own. Daniel sighed in relief at that as it was a small bonus to not have to go through a potentially awkward conversation regarding that. As Agape took the clothes and asked for clarification, Daniel nodded and repeated: "Yours, Agape." Hopefully "yours" and "mine" would be a simple lesson to teach in case he had to set boundaries at some point, but he didn't feel like that would be much of a concern moving forward. Despite the language barrier she was civil and pleasant, he watched her take the clothes to her bed and begin to undress. The act of it almost failing to dawn on Daniel until her own clothing was already off and he rather suddenly shifted his gaze to focus on something else in the room.

'Well, that could be a hint into culture, or just her personality.' Daniel thought to himself, but his eyes wandered back to her; it wasn't like he could see much from her backside. His eyes looked towards the bandages, ensuring they remained where they needed to be as she got changed. His initial assumption of the shirt being a bit long was correct, but it would serve it's purpose as the fabric fell down to her knees - the sight of which brought a smile to Daniel's face as he looked her over again. The sweat pants proving a similar point, but she was quick to solve it by reaching for the ends and rolling them upwards. Her excitement about them made him laugh to himself for a bit before smiling to acknowledge her success in getting dressed. "Yours." He said pointing at her in her new clothes, then pointing over towards the bed. "Yours., Agape" Daniel went on, focusing on teaching possessives. "Light." Daniel continued, this time his phone beeped - apparently not liking "Yours" as a key word, but "Light" was just fine as it beeped and showed a picture of a standard light bulb. Unfortunately, this room had ceiling lights that were embedded so it didn't look quite the same.

Despite the difference Daniel still moved into the room and approached one of two switches beside the door, making sure she was watching and not moving when he pressed it and the lights flickered off. There was still a bit of light in the room from the hallway, but otherwise only a few small trim lights were still in the room so it would be easier for most to rest. Daniel waited there a moment to gauge how she was reacting, before moving back towards the door. "Good night, Agape." Daniel uttered, his phone beeping so he happily showed her the image it pulled up of a star filled night, moon overhead and a picture of someone asleep in bed with a few letter Z's above their head. "Sleep." He repeated next, this time the beep revealed a similar issue but it was a closeup of an individual just asleep in the bed with their eyes closed.

Agape clapped happily at his confirmation, the action was like a child receiving praise. When he pointed at the clothes and said yours she took a moment to let it process. So these clothes were now hers, "Yours!" She pointed to the shirt he had given and smiled. This learning was going a lot better than she had originally anticipated. Though the word 'yours' didn't come with a picture clarification she could find out the meaning at a later time if he didn't explain it. Agape was grateful that his next word did, she looked at the picture and then glanced up at the ceiling. The action nearly made her tumble backward on the bed but she managed to save herself by placing her arm out to steady herself.

"Light!" Agape happily pointed at the ceiling looking at him once more, seeing the bulb was a lot like something she had seen her grandfather's scientist start to build. And though she couldn't see the bulbs she only assumed they must be from the ceiling since she couldn't find them. The process of deduction was something her mother had taught her. All those years of schooling did well for her, especially with her aptitude for learning. When he walked to the switches she watched as he flickered the lights. It was like a switch for morning and night. Her eyes widened in amazement, were it not for how tired she was she would have jumped up to play with the switched.

Another yawn escaped her lips and she lifted an arm to rub her eye, rather than her hand the sleeve of the shirt met with her eye as she rubbed. When the picture popped up on the device she glanced between it and him. "Goud Nite Dan-niel." Agape grabbed the blanket, that she had dropped on the floor earlier while exploring the room, and pulled it over her legs laying down on the bed. When he said sleep she nodded and gave and sleepy smile. "Sleep. Gabon eta amets goxoak Daniel." Though she knew he wouldn't understand her she had said for him to sleep well and enjoy his night. Her words drifted off as her eyes fluttered closed. A soft breathing could be heard confirming that she was sleep.

Her excitement in learning a new language kept him in good spirits, and as she imitated his good night he smiled before closing the door behind him. If she needed to find her way out for whatever reason he was confident that she would be able to manage it. She had said something before he left, her own message goodnight that put a smile on his face as Daniel found his way back to the common room, taking a few moments to clean up after themselves - tossing the apple core in the trash along with the banana peel, putting the pot he used for tea away along with the cups that they had used. He'd deal with the bitten stress ball at another time, and instead chose to focus on preparing for the morning.

Daniel closed the entrance to the ship and made sure everything was secure before heading into the medical bay, the rag that still had her blood was there and after a few minutes of preparation he managed to extract a small volume of it into a vial that he got about setting up for analysis. His eyes were dreary though, his body tired, he felt the call for sleep coming for him but wanted to make sure he had this being processed before he went to bed. Asking for a blood sample would be complicated, and he would rather not go to that length but while it was here he figured he'd do his best to learn what he could. Depending on it's composition he knew that it was possible to even create a synthetic version should she ever need more for a transfusion, which given any serious injury may be best when donors weren't readily available for most races.

With his last bit of work for the day taken care of Daniel got out of his seat, rinsed the rag and set it aside before retiring to his room. The act of changing into his own sleep wear, which was just another pair of the sweat pants was quick and a blur and before he knew it he had collapsed onto his bed. His materials and resources would arrive in the morning, and from there he would be able to start teaching her their language more effectively. Hopefully her excitement from the day would continue, and while his own built up as he thought of learning about a new race and culture his mind wandered to some of the potential concerns as well. While this was the Nexus, there were still some limitations - he had to wonder if there was still some way to help her return home, or meet others of her kind. Thankfully, that was a concern for another day as Daniel very quickly fell asleep.

In that state however, his body wasn't truly at rest - in fact, the time Daniel spent asleep was the most productive time for the parasite to redevelop Daniel. It spent this time consuming old cells, cleaning out his system, strengthening bones and tendons so that it's host would prove a more suitable vessel. Under close inspection others could see it happen in live-time, his veins bulging as transfers happened in mass, small pops as bones aligned and shifted, the parasite was eager to use this time to it's full extent as it tested what could be done with it's host. All Daniel knew for certain, is that he would awake well rested and feeling better than he had the day before.

Agape slept soundly, lightly snoring, and cuddling the pillow throughout the night. She dreamt of her home, the pleasant cold, and her family. She hadn't noticed herself shift in the middle of the night, but it caused a small frost to over the room. The temperature wasn't terrible her body adjusted itself accordingly.

Agape woke up with a small squeak from stretching out her stiff body, wincing as her side ached slightly, and a yawn. She wasn't sure how long she slept, but she had a feeling it was morning. She sat up pulling her hand from under the long sleeves to rub her eyes and wake herself up a bit more. A glint of frost caused her to pause and lift her head to look around. Noticing the frost the covered the room she tilted her head and frowned. Had she done that? Agape wondered if Daniel would be upset about it, she shook her head and shifted again to help the frost collect itself and disappear. Now she just needed something to dry it with. Daniel would know, though she hoped he wouldn't be too upset with her.

She carefully slipped from under the covers and placed her feet on the chilled floor. It was slippery from the frost, she huffed and let the sleeves of Daniel's white dress shirt fall. Her hair was wild and stuck out on the sides of how she slept. And luckily the bandages stayed put through the night. When she was certain she wouldn't fall she stood and carefully walked out of the room. She had a little trouble with the door but was happy when she figured it out. Peeking her head out into the hallway she looked left to right, she had no idea where Daniel's room was let alone if he was asleep.

Huffing one more she frowned at herself and stepped out of the room, at least she remembered where the giant sitting thing was. She walked past the threshold of the door and walked towards the common area. "Dan-niel? Hel-lo?" She spoke a little quietly unsure of where he was but assumed that this would be the easiest way to find him.

Daniel woke early most days, and this had been no exception. After everything that had happened the day prior he was excited about what today had in store, so as his alarm went off he was quick to his feet and set about preparing for the day. His typical routine of a shower and dressing himself went smoothly, and after checking through the alerts he had from his navigator he smiled in delight. His order had made it in a few hours ago as the shipping business stayed running 24/7, with that knowledge in mind Daniel found his way out of the room; taking a glance around the ship to ensure Agape wasn't out and about so she wouldn't be lost before heading out of his own ship to pick up his supplies.

It took but one trip as he asked a hangar employee to help, who was all too eager to assist as Daniel was always kind to those staffed there and he went about the chore of bringing in and sorting out all of his supplies. He had started with the medical orders as some of the material was a little sensitive, but by the time he had finished those the morning was drawing on quickly - as he brought up the supplies for food Daniel heard his name called out from the hallway. "Agape?" He repeated back a little louder, thinking to himself as he tried to find the right words to use. "Good morning!" He shouted a bit louder to guide her attention back to the common room.

He was putting away some frozen meats into the freezer, before moving on to the fruits and bags of rice that he had kept in various drawers and cupboards. As she made her way back into the common area he would smile in her direction before turning his focus towards another box that he had set aside. This one was noticeably smaller, and the exterior clued him in on what would be inside and after a few moment he had managed to pull out a device very similar to his own. "Agape," Daniel spoke again to ensure he had her attention, he would approach her for a bit as he turned the device on and started to work out the initial setup for it but after a few idle minutes of him focusing on the screen he reached out; offering the device to her. "Yours." He repeated, hoping that it would make sense with his outstretched hand. He would be able to connect that to the monitor in her room later, and setup the teaching program instead of the translator; that alone would be able to help her more than the bit of work they had accomplished the day before.

Agape heard Daniel call her name and slowly walked towards the common room. She was grateful he was awake, Agape feared she might have gotten lost otherwise. When he said good morning she processed the words, while also trying to figure out how to tell him about the room. When she finally did reach the common room she bit her lip looking at him. "Good mor-nin-ng." She was nervous, her words came out in quieter syllabus than yesterday's enthusiasm.

That was quickly replaced when she was called again, she saw the device in his hand and grew a tad bit excited. She would be learning again today, hopefully, he would let her play with the device. When he held out the device to her she looked between him and the device several times before taking it. A small squeal of delight escaped her lips and she spun excitedly, holding the device between her sleeve covered hands. "Xolti Mana!!" It was just simply amazing, she didn't know how o express her thanks to him in his language. Therfore, she settled on smiling brightly with her neon eyes of excitement and holding out her arms to hug him.

After Daniel decided if he would take the hug or not she remembered she had to tell him about the room and ask him for something to dry it with. She looked down at the ground a bit nervous and glanced up at him, "D-dan-niel...Agape room." She reached her hand out to tug on the edge of his sleeve and pointed in the direction of the room. She wished she had learned a few more words yesterday that would help her. But most of all she hoped he wouldn't be angry with her.

Her response at a good morning was pleasant, she was getting the pronunciation down bit by bit and with her new device in hand he had no issue believing that she would be able to learn quite a lot on her own. However, her tone had caught his attention; she sounded unsure of herself, as compared to yesterday where even with a large injury her enthusiasm was almost contagious. That all blew away however as her eyes widened in recognition of the device being handed to her, and Daniel couldn't help but smile softly at the sight of her excitement.

Daniel watched as she extended her arms for a hug and after a moment's hesitation he drew closer and returned the gesture, feeling a slight chill to her before pulling back. "Yours." He repeated, glancing down to the phone; "You're welcome." He repeated this time, the first he had said it to her but if she were to be learning the language he knew that she would understand it at some point. The hug and her exclamation seemed just like a show of gratitude, so he was comfortable assuming that was her way of showing it.

Daniel was about to try to explain how to get into the program and work the application when her gaze went low to the floor, causing a brow to raise from Daniel in curiosity. As she met his gaze once more he didn't look away, instead listening as she tugged on his sleeve and tugged him towards the rooms. "D-dan=niel...Agape room." The nervousness in her voice had him a bit unsettled, what could she possibly be so nervous about? A memory of last night flashed for a moment as he remembered her changing in front of him, and for a second the conclusion he had come to was another sign of gratitude. 'No, that can't be it.' He shook his head to clear his mind, worrying for the strangest outcome when he should be preparing for whatever awaited him there.

As she led him to the door Daniel opened it as they got near, peering inside after a moment to be greeted by a slight chill and signs of... Frost? Coating the walls was a small sheen of frost, but the large majority of it had melted by now as the ship tried to regulate it's interior temperature. "Agape, you?" He turned towards her, looking for her eyes again. He had remembered the chill he had felt earlier when she had shifted forms suddenly, and after glancing into the room he was almost certain that this was part of her condition. "All good." He said, trying to ensure that his voice was in a more soothing tone. It seemed that she was worried about how he would react to this, or maybe she was afraid of it happening? He wasn't sure yet if that shift in form was controllable or a conscious decision on her part, hopefully he'd come to learn a bit more as she got better at their language. "Follow." Daniel repeated, going towards the restroom and unlocking the door. He reached inside and grabbed two towels from a cabinet, offering one towards Agape before motioning back towards her room.

Agape stared at him when he spoke before asking him to follow her to the room. He had an odd look on his face, maybe he had already figured it out. She furrowed her brows and led him to the door. She stayed in the hallway as he peered inside and kept her head lowered. When he asked if it was her she nodded slowly and looked at him apologetically. "Dan-niel Uxolo." She was saying sorry though she wasn't sure he could understand it. She lowered her gaze away from his eyes waiting for him to get upset. When he spoke in a more soothing tone she lifted her gaze quickly and wondered if he had said it was okay.

When he motioned for her to come with him and said follow she nodded. Thinking back to what the words had meant Agape thought she should have used that word when asking Daniel to come to her room. When they reached the cabinet she looked at the blanket like object and took it. She unfolded it and examine it, the fabric was a bit rougher than a blanket. Agape glanced as he motioned for her to go back to the room and gathered the towel clumsily in her hands. When they reached the room she walked in carefully so she wouldn't slip and looked around. She had made quite the mess, she had to get a handle on her sleep while she was healing. Otherwise shed end up in a room full of water overnight.

As they made their way back to Agape's room Daniel unfolded the towel till there was only one crease left, and after taking a few moments to carefully navigate across the slick floor he made his way over to the monitor. Electronics first, he reminded himself as he started using the towel to wipe off the moisture that had started to stick inside the room. "Agape." Daniel said aloud, turning back to meet her gaze. He pointed soon after to the other side of the room, offering a small smile as she still seemed a bit off; either nervous or guilty after what she had done. While a nuisance, it wasn't all that serious to Daniel as he took a good look around the room. At the moment there wasn't any sizable damage to be concerned about, but he was sure that eventually if this phenomenon continued to get worse he may have to be more careful with the electronics that were kept in the room.

Bit by bit Daniel wiped away at the moisture, letting the tedium of the work free his mind to work on other things. He began to plan out a schedule so that Agape would be able to work on learning the new language quickly, and if he could help it, find a solution to the room frosting over. Maybe a heater of sorts? He could always raise the temperature for her room, but the problem there would be if her body would react and fight against all the heat and attempt to overpower it to reach a certain temperature. Shrugging the concern off Daniel continued about his work, glancing back towards Agape every now and again to make sure that she was okay.

As the two finished up the room Daniel folded his towel over his arm and approached Agape, extending his arm to her as he reached out for her own towel. "That was a unique way to clean the room." He said to himself with a light tone, she may not understand but hopefully it at least let her know that he wasn't angry. "Agape, follow." He said once more, making sure that she was okay before he headed out of the room - he took a moment to stow the towels away for later to be washed before getting back to the common area. Before he got started on her lessons for the language, he figured getting some food in her would be helpful towards providing the right energy and he would want to do a small checkup on her bandages before allowing her to rest some more. A quick scan for internal injury would be enough to make sure that she was in a stable condition, but that could wait.

Daniel already had some fruit out, but he got about cutting it after setting some oatmeal to cook behind him. After a few minutes Daniel had two apples cut into slices, a banana cut into smaller bits, and an orange peeled and separated. As the oatmeal finished he poured out two bowls, taking a glance towards Agape to see how she was responding to the work - He was certain she must have something similar from her culture, but was wondering just how involved she may be in it. While Daniel was happy with the breakfast, his stomach couldn't help but growl at him in expectation. He pushed a bowl over towards Agape, and then pushed the plate housing all of the fruit between the two of them. "Agape, yours." He said, pointing towards her bowl. "Breakfast." Daniel repeated, before grabbing a few slices of the banana and tossing them into his oatmeal. He had brown sugar too, but he wasn't all too certain if Agape had a sweet tooth or not. Daniel took a note that it might be worth testing later.

Agape's head snapped up to look at Daniel when he called her, her train of thought had her distracted. When he pointed to the other side of the room she nodded and moved to the other side of the room putting the towel on the floor and crouching down to clean the water. Agape was pleased he didn't seem angry with her, though she could easily check her doubts of such with a simple touch she still hoped to ask his permission first. As she wiped up the water she glanced at him every so often, examining his profile. Of course, he stood taller than her, by his features he looked roughly around her age, he was very kind and skilled in medicine. It was then she asked herself, why wasn't he mated. People on her planet wed at her age if not a year or so younger they were at least engaged, she had thankfully avoided such acts by leaving home when she become suitable. Were things different on this planet, was Daniel considered 'ugly' according to the standards of this place.

Agape shook the thoughts from her head, quite literally, and continued to wipe the water away. Once she had finished her side she turned to daniel before handing him the wet towels. When he spoke she tried to understand but only caught the word room from the sentence and smiled nodding, "Room." She assumed he was pleased they had managed to fix the mess and get rid of the water before any major damage had been done. Once Daniel requested her to follow once more she trailed after him, luckily this time the floor was dry though she couldn't say the same for the bottom of his sweatpants. Agape barely noticed the feeling and sat on the couch, picking up the device she had been gifted.

Now that she had one to herself she could examine it more, she turned it over in her hands looking for the workings that made it light up and copy pictures. Agape held it in front of her and decided she would watch the pictures. "Red." She was delighted when the screen lit up with the colored block and the words above it. "Banana!" She squeaked happily when the picture of the fruit showed up her eyes glowing with excitement. "Follow!....Apple!....Yellow!...Room!...Sleep!....Light!-" The device beeped and changed the picture as she spoke. Her words fell short when Daniel placed the bowl in front of her. She looked at the strange goopy like contents when daniel told her it was hers. She placed the device on the couch beside her and looked up at him. "Break-fast?" Tilting her head she watched as he grabbed the small yellow pieces and put them in the bowl. She hesitantly copied his action, throwing banana and some of the other two fruits in the bowl as well. Agape glanced at him just as he spread a brown substance over his oatmeal, she looked for it scanning the table with her eyes but didn't see it. Shrugging she grabbed the spoon and lifted a heavy helping of the fruity oatmeal mix into her mouth. Her expression lit up with delight from the taste, the goopy substance was a little bitter but had a faint taste of sweetness. The fruits had different textures and delighted her with a mixture of tastes. Agape's cheeks were stuffed and she looked like a chipmunk as she politely chewed with her mouth closed. Once she swallowed she hummed happily to herself and smiled at Daniel.

Daniel almost felt bad for interrupting Agape as she played around with her new phone, testing out the words she had learned both today and yesterday to her own delight. Her eager nature was a delight to see so early in the morning, but as she started to copy what he was doing with the food his eyes stayed on her and watched for her reaction. She had seemed to enjoy the fruit the other day, but oatmeal with it was another thing and he was curious to see how she would take to it. Any worry however was cast aside quickly as her expression lit up, and very soon after she was digging into it like no tomorrow.

Daniel even had to stifle a small laugh as her cheeks puffed up to that of a chipmunk, but he settled for a small chuckle to himself as he watched her continue. He shouldn't laugh, that could very well just be how her species ate but the sight was a bit silly as compared to her typically composed and elegant nature. However, he had to admit that with that response and her horns she definitely gave off a more woodland creature vice, and if her development was anything like that of other species he was familiar with she may share similar sensibilities to nature. It might even help explain some of her abilities with affecting the weather, as natural phenomenon like that was bound to be a key part of her culture. He looked on for a few more moments before he got to finishing his own food, but after he saw her eyeing the brown substance that he had he reached back to one of his counters and brought the bag out to have it sit between them as well. He placed a small spoon on the plate that had the cut fruit and let her do as she would with it.

As he nearly finished his meal Daniel stood up from his seat at the table, reaching towards the fridge and getting a sealed cup full of a green substance;. It was a decent size and full of a vegetable medley turned smoothie, and it was one of his common drinks as it filled him up when his stomach was begging for food and was a decent healthy option for himself. He grabbed a glass from a cupboard however, and poured till it was about halfway full before setting it in front of Agape. He took a sip out of his container afterwards, cleansing a bit of his pallet before going back to his food.

Before long he was finished with his breakfast, and he got about cleaning up after himself but he would wait patiently as Agape finished her own and he was wary to see ifs he showed any signs of still being hungry for more. It wouldn't be difficult for him to prepare anything else in addition for her, he would just have to wait to see what else would be needed as he learned about her dietary needs and preferences. "Full?" He asked, her device beeping softly as it showed a picture of a man with a distended belly and a hand over it with a rather content look on his face. His own stomach was sated for now, deciding not to bother Daniel for more.

When Ayame saw the brown powder she had nearly finished her food, she smiled at Daniel in thanks and grabbed the spoon scooping spoonfuls of the powder into her bowl. It reminded her of the snow like crystals that covered her homeland. The crystals at home tasted wonderful in food and she only hoped this did as well. Once she had gathered a good helping she shoved a spoonful into her mouth. It was sweet at first but the large amount was gritty. Her face scrunched up as she awkwardly chewed, she looked up at Daniel curiously. Though the texture was strange she still ate it happily, the sweet taste making up for it.

She glanced at Daniel as he stood up from the table, still shoving spoonfuls of food in her mouth she watched him walk away and come back. Agape stared at him when he sat the liquid in front of her. She glanced at its strange color, "Yellow?" She tilted her head trying to identify the color, as the device beside her pinged in response. Agape gently grabbed the glass and sniffed the substance crinkling her nose in response. It smelled funny, she stuck her tongue out, putting the glass over her face, she looked like a cat. Once the substance hit her tongue her eyes lit up in response. She drank the liquid fast and placed the cup back on the table one she was done smiling at Daniel with a line of green on her upper lip.

Once she had finished it she continued eating the pile of brown sugar and what was left of the oatmeal in her bowl. Agape leaned down holding her bowl in one hand and using her free hand to roll up the bottom of the sweatpants that were wet. When he spoke she quickly turned to the device, she studied it for a few moments until she understood. "Full!" Agape held out her bowl to Daniel smiling happily, she was pleased he was helping her learn and take care of her. In her customs, this would be deserving fo a friendly kiss, but she didn't think they held the same customs. Though she hoped he wouldn't mind. When she had finished eating she still had the green line above her lips. She was full and happy that she had eaten.

Daniel held back another small laugh as Agape ate the sugar without mixing it into the food, he'd have to show her how to handle it another time so that she wouldn't have to scrunch up her face in response. At least she still seemed to enjoy the food as he was finishing it rather quickly, nearly empty by the time that he had watched her try out the drink as well. Her initial curiosity with it intrigued him, watching through the glass that was empty how her eyes distended in it's curvature before she gave the drink a chance.

"Green." He repeated after her question, her phone beeping to reveal a more similar color even if it wasn't exactly what the cup's liquid looked like - it was the closest he had while keeping the answer simple. As Agape downed the cup quickly he smiled brightly, the drink was something he enjoyed and always prepared before-hand so knowing that she enjoyed it made things a lot easier for him. All he'd have to do is start making more when he prepped, and she would at least have something available for her in the fridge if she got thirsty or a little hungry. The drink itself was enough for him, and as Agape exclaimed that she was full Daniel nodded with a smile before chuckling to himself at the sight of the green tincture marking her lip.

Daniel stepped out to the side of the kitchen, grabbing a napkin from a stack kept in a corner basket before approaching Agape. "One second." He said to himself in a soft tone, leaning in towards her as he slowly raised a napkin to her lips to get the substance off. As it came away he smiled at her once again, "Napkin." He said, holding it aloft as her phone beeped to show a clean version of it on the screen. Daniel went on to use a clean side of it to wipe his face should anything remain before he tossed the napkin away and grabbed her bowl so he could clean up the space after them. Her bowl first, wiping out the sugar that remained at the sides; serving plate, and finally her glass but as he finished washing it he didn't put it away. He instead kept it in hand, putting his own cup away before asking her to "Follow."

Daniel led her back to the medical bay, gesturing for her to take a seat once more on one of the beds as he prepared to do a check up for her.

When he answered her question her head snapped to her device and stared at the picture for a moment, "Green." She spoke slowly making sure she pronounced it right, she was getting better at speaking like Daniel. Agape rose a brow at his chuckle, she wondered what was funny. And watched as he trailed off into another room and back with a white fabric. Agape blinked when he leaned towards her, did he want to thank her as well? Her immediate alarm was put to rest as he just wiped her face. When he smiled at her she returned it glancing at the picture of the fabric before turning back to Daniel. "Nap-a-kin." As he wiped his own face she lifted up her device in her hands and examined the picture. "Green!"

Agape's eyes were pleased with the colored box popped up on the screen, the color reminded her of her father's eyes. She wondered what color her hair was on this planet, back home no one really asked because there were plenty of bright colors. "Napkin!" She watched the fabric pop back up on the screen and was pleased as she looked at it, the fabric on her face was a bit rough but apparently was used to clean like the towels from before only thinner and smaller. Daniel spoke and she looked up at him nodding slowly device in her sleeve covered hands as she got up. Trailing after him she thought, there had to be a way to thank him without insulting his customs. Maybe she could make him a gift.

Agape smiled to herself pleased with this decision as they walked back into the room they had first met. She looked around once more in awe. This room amazed her the most with all of it trinkets. When he made a gesture for her to sit she climb on the bed and swung her legs looking around. Did he need to wrap bandages again, hers were after all dirty and she assumed her needed to check the wound. Coming to this conclusion she pulled off his oversized shirt and smiled looking at the bandages the blood had stained them. Maybe she should start taking them off, she reached to look for the beginning of the bandages twisting so she might see.

As she transitioned between Green and Napkin Daniel nodded along in affirmation to make sure that she knew that she was doing well. That kind of positive reinforcement would hopefully help her continue that excitement with her lessons, and if she wanted to keep going he was more than happy to help her get there. She didn't move back as he helped clean her face, which made it rather easy for him and allowed it go by quickly.

As she followed after him to the medical bay and sat atop the bed he reached into one of his cabinets and retrieved fresh bandages for her, as well as the spray he had used previously. As long as she didn't have any internal injures remaining from before, this would be enough to set her back on a path of recovery. Turning back towards Agape he caught the end of her taking his shirt off, exposing the bloodies bandages and the rest of her body to the air. His eyes however stayed with the bandages, watching as she swiveled in her spot; apparently searching for the clasp that kept the bandages in place.

"Agape." He said lightly to get her attention, approaching her and setting both the spray and bandages to her sides. As she settled down a bit he would then take that opportunity to reach around her and start to undo her bandages, being careful not to go to quickly as he pulled them around her waist, exposing her wound to the air as he finally finished and went to toss the used bandages away in a waste basket. Taking a moment to meet her eyes Daniel looked to see how she was reacting before reaching for the spray, coating her injury with it and being mindful of her reacting to it. He didn't want to get accidentally kicked out of nowhere, but given her previous reactions he figured that he would be fine. When he finished the spray he got about wrapping her in bandages, finishing it up much the same as he did before. "Done." He stated kindly before going to put away the spray and bandages, but this time he took out another device and brought it closer to her. Daniel wasted no time in pressing it just an inch away from her wound as he started shifting it over her injuries, scanning for any kind of internal damage. A 3D render of what he was scanning appearing before him, showing the both of them what was going on as he worked.
