"Three? Try four, man. Vah Ruta, Vah Naboris, Vah Rudania, and Vah Medoh. And piloting those things takes months of practice. We're damn lucky these new Champions have been working on it over this year." Dell stayed staring at the Divine Beast for a good while. "I gotta admit...it was damn impressive of us, getting those things purified in a week. You know we had to actually fight phantoms made of Malice?"

"What? No way! Wouldn't that have gotten us poisoned or something?"

"If it did, Link was quick to help us out." Dell sighed. "I sure hope that kid's doing okay...he tried his hardest to keep morale up, but I don't think anything back then would've done that."

Kaito crossed his arms. "Look. I don't know what we were like back last year. But we got a second chance, and things are going pretty damn well! We already found one Traitor in the first kill, we're working our asses off to fight Ganondorf and his army...we've got this! All we've gotta do is push through these last three days! And I believe in us!"

Dell turned his gaze to Kaito, observing him with a blank expressiom, before finally smiling. "Yeah. I believe in us, too." He started walking again. "Come on, guys. Let's find us a Rock Roast."

"I chose this path, so I'll be fine." Azel explained, glancing to Yuuki and giving him a brief nod in thanks for the gesture. "If this is what we have to do to keep the numbers from being to low then so be it." he muttered, granted, their numbers weren't too low now, and either way it wasn't an extremely large problem. For him at least. That didn't make it any less embarrassing to some degree.

"How are you holding up?" he asked thr boy with a raised brow, the other being forced into this odd get together yet held up well enough.

Yuuki simply sheepishly laughed and scratched his head in response to Azel's query.

"Back where I come from, the four different races are able to be marry and be parents, despite differences such as age range, and it isn't out of the question for members of two different races to be confused as siblings," Kokkoro adds, "I suppose that is how most Gerudo are born despite the scarce male populace that appears rarely - having partners from other races?"

The walk around town continues.

"Aren't these lovely, but what are walruses doing in the middle of the desert, hmu hmu..." Kokkoro approaches a sand seal she sees. It had fine tusks and sandy skin. "Hello there, walrus. How are you doing today?"

Kokkoro pets the Sand Seal's head.

"We've tried everything," Lee replied. "I think there's some sort of key to it that we're missing...but what could it be?"

Just then, on the mainland, Brook started waving wildly at them, jumping up and down and yelling to get their attention.

"...what is that idiot doing?"

@Hida Tomonatsu
Jin turned his head to where Lee pointed out Brook hopping about, humming for a moment as he thought. Then, with an inscrutable expression, he gave the only answer possible.

"I believe one might call that the skeleton dance. Perhaps we ought to join him and see what has him calling us over?"

Reimu liked Gerudo Village, it reminded her of home, where it’s just women. She’s always preferred females as friends.
“So the bad guy is a male Gerudo. Interesting. That means the women that set out marry other men....uggh.”

Reimu always thought of setting down as between the same, human and human, yokai and yokai. To her, marrying others of the different type was strange. It may also be since most of the people she’s met aren’t married, and she herself will likely be arranged with a local human to continue the bloodline.
It’s just not something she understands.
“Anyways, where is the Sheild Sledding thing? I’m more then willing to borrow it off someone.”

"Good heavens. . .that thing is bigger than Propeller Knight's grand flying machine. Must be worth it's weight in coin, too." Shovel Knight pondered as his helmet-clad head was tilted all the way upwards to barely perceive only a quarter of the titanic beast looming overhead. He didn't take too much time to reflect on the possibilities before continuing on after the rolling Goron, but he did briefly glance over at Guy Cecil.

The ever-so slight troubles painted across his face were as clear as day.

Shovel Knight walked closer to the weary adventurer, gallantly striding alongside him as the party made their way to the hot springs. ". . .Tell me, Guy, what is your home like? Can't be too different from my own, if our little encounter with those slimes a couple days ago was any indication."

The Drifter silently followed his party throughout the bustling heart of Gerudo Town, casting sidelong glances at the towering Gerudo women that strolled past. It was surprising how much his town reminded the vagabond of 'home' - as much as he hate to admit it. The last time something from this place reminded him of home, it didn't end so well. The Drifter managed to fight back another fit of pain-stricken coughing as soon as the thought entered his brain again.

The Drifter turned his head to Zelda when she mentioned her own personal purpose of traveling out here. ". . .Hm." A muffled grunt of approval.

In the ruined lands of buried time, there was no deep sentimentality shared between drifters. The landscape always looked more beautiful alone, anyway. There isn't anyone else there to distract from the horizon's soft glow.

It's a good thing every person the drifter has grown close to has died so far.

Which doesn't bode well for that little blue knight.

"After you then, Mister Dell," Guy said, returning the smile with his own, forcing himself to lighten up as he snapped back to reality, continuing to move along. The run was oddly refreshing; there was little that was quite as relaxing as a simple walk or jog. As the saying went, the journey was oft more important than the destination. And here and now, Guy was on this such journey, headed toward an unknown destination at the end of the road, unable to fathom how he would encounter the mastermind behind this incident.

Still, it seemed as though his forced attempts to lighten up visibly did not go unnoticed when Shovel Knight approached, the little man attempting to make conversation with him.

"Ah, my home? Well... What can I really say? Home is home," he initially said in a nondescript fashion, "Indeed, I can imagine there are quite a few similarities between yours and mine, but all things considered, I don't suppose you'd ever heard of the kingdom of Kimlasca-Lanvaldear? Being among the most illustrious kingdoms in all of Auldrant, it'd be quite a surprise to hear nothing from it while all this is happening, at least, if I didn't know any better..."

"I'm headed to Goron City, too!" Kaito said, taking one of the offered Fireproof Elixirs and downing it.

Dell made sure the elixirs were readily available to everyone headed there. "Okay, just teleport to Shae Mo'Sah Shrine after drinking one of those." And pressing the icon on his map, he headed out.

Even with Elixirs, you can feel the burning hot air around you. Goron City is literally built on a volcano, the buildings all made of rocks and the bridges all metal. Large yellow beings walk around, donning mining equipment or running shops. One of them notices your group and rushes over.

"Dell! It's so good to see you again, goro! And all you guys, too!"

"Nice to see you too, buddy." Dell turned to you all. "Guys, this is Yunobo. He's a direct descendant of Daruk, the original Goron Champion and pilot of Vah Rudania. He helped us get past Vah Rudania's defenses last year."

Yunobo looks down shyly. "Aww...it was nothing, goro! I was happy to help you out, especially with Bludo's back problems!"

Dell frowned. "Oh yeah...how is Bludo, anyway? We need to talk to him."

"Well...his back's still pretty bad, so he's at the hot spring right now, goro. I was gonna bring him a Rock Roast...you guys wanna help?"

Dell nodded. "Yeah. Just lead the way."

"Got it!" With that, Yunobo tucked in his legs and began rolling off out of the city. ...huh.

Lee turned to Jin with a raised eyebrow. "You actually care what those things do? They have a daily schedule, of catcjing fish on spears and cooking it. They don't drink water; it kills them, surprisingly enough." He stood up, turning to face Jin. "And they tend to sleep wherever they please, not caring for shelter usually. They may be able to make tree forts but they're primitive like cavemen."

Both 47 and Grievous drank the elixir and joined the group at the shrine. They both felt the heat of the volcano, though Grievous felt is less due to his own body. After the brief introduction, the two followed into the city.

"In some ways it's similar to traditions back home, despite it's many differences." Azel commented, finding slight similarities between women leaving their home to eventually marry into another. Though there were negotiations between Fathers and dowries involved in his time-along with other things a bride would need before marriage such as handmade rugs and cloth for the home. How odd for the Gerudo to have one male every one hundred years, however.

Silque smiled to the princess, nodding in agreement with Akane. "I am sure she would be more than proud of that and your efforts so far. When I was young, I went on a pilgrimage with my mother. She left me in a priory then disappeared and I had no one, but another mother rescued me when I was at my lowest—the Mother Mila. Now I will spend my life repaying that debt however I can. I will bring the Mother’s wisdom to the meek and lonely and save them in turn." Silque responded, clasping her hands together before turning to Zelda with a smile.

"It is my great honor to announce the second annual Sand Seal Race will be starting momentarily! With Vah Naboris no longer rampaging in this desert, we are free to continue our beloved Gerudo pastime in peace!" She stopped, as she noticed the group approach. "And here are the courageous vai that made it all possible!"

As the crowd noticed the group arrive, they began cheering loudly, as if everyone was a celebrity.

"Thank you, thank you!" Margreet said, curtsying as she reached the little girl. "It's so good to see you again, Lady Riju."

"Hmhmhm, it's good to see you all, too. After being in stasis for a year, it's nice to get outside, hm?"

"Oh, incredibly so," Zelda replied. "I'm glad to see Sand Seal Racing is back!"

"Oh, yes. If you vai would like to participate, go right on ahead. We'll get shields and seal ready-free of charge. It's the least we can do for you all, after how you helped us."

"Oh! Thank you!"

Within minutes, anyone who wanted to participate was now set up with a seal and a shield. "Take a little time to practice," Riju said. "I'm sure just going out into the race without would be quite troublesome."

Steering was easy to do: just guide the seal in the direction you wanted, and it would follow with no problem. Once everyone was ready to begin, they were all lined up at the starting line. "The rules are simple," Riju said. "Simply race out and steer your seal through the five goalposts out in the desert, then come back here across the finish line. Once you do, and we see your time, you will be rewarded based on how fast you went. All right, is everyone ready?"

"On your mark.."

"Get set..."

"GO!!!!"

o hot springs in sight just yet, but Yunobo led the group to a mining quarry a short ways down the path from Goron City. Large ore deposits surrounded them, no doubt filled with priceless gems and jewels.

"Welcome to the Southern Mine, goro!" Yunobo unrolled himself, and now faced the group. "I'm still cooking the Rock Roast, but I need more help. See, Bludo likes his roasts spiced..."

"Yeah, sure," Dell said. "We can grab some Goron Spice back in the city. Don't know why you wouldn't mention that before..."

"Oh! No, no. Bludo spices his food with gemstones, goro! I can do it myself, but I need to mine some gems for his meal. You guys can mine too while I do! The gems here sell well at market, goro. I won't take long, I promise!"

And with that, Yunobo rolled off. Dell looked at the others. Now he was at a loss for words. "Uh...I guess we're mining, now? Or you guys can just chill at the hot springs up that nearby path. I really...do not know."

Zelda smiled at the kind words ot the others. "Yes...I hope so. Perhaps, once this is all over...I'll feel as if I've repaid them all, myself."

"It looks like we're about to find out if we'll impress Riju," Margreet said to Akane. "There's the racing ground!"

A group of Gerudo women had gathered around a shrine, where a young Gerudo girl stood, a warrior beside her.

"GO!!!!"

(How to Play: Win a prize for racing around the Gerudo Desert! Here is a trivia game for you to play, which you can fill out and submit. You can only play it once, and will be able to play until 12 PM PSt on Tuesday, June 26! o hot springs in sight just yet, but Yunobo led the group to a mining quarry a short ways down the path from Goron City. Large ore deposits surrounded them, no doubt filled with priceless gems and jewels.

800px-BotW_Southern_Mine.jpeg

Rock smashing? Now there's something Fred was good at! "You know back home smashing rocks in the quarry is my job. Give me a pickax and some rocks and I'll get to work."

Linkle meanwhile didn't sound too enthused. "Hot springs? Who knows what's hiding there! I'll have to go and check it out just in case!"

Peter- MCU and Peter-Amazing

Peter was surprised when the older Peter followed him to Goron Town. He finally decided to address the elephant in the room that had been bugging him for the longest. " Do you not like being around me or something? I know that you keep avoiding me and I don't understand why. Did I do something wrong?" He asked, still confused by it.

"
No, it is nothing that you did wrong. It's me. You remind of a much younger version of myself and it hurts to see a reflection of how I was before everything that I had been through. You still got that wonderlust and sarcasm in you towards everything. Me, I'm broken because I have been through a ton of fucking loss and honestly, I don't think I will ever be over it," he said.

"
What happened?" The younger Parker asked.

"
What didn't happen? I watched my girlfriend's father die in front of me, I watch my best friend betray me, I nearly got killed because I forgot about someone who idolized me and my girlfriend died from me trying to save her."

" Didn't Mr. Stark help you? Weren't their others who were there to help you with your hero work?" He asked.

"
Who?"

"
Mr. Stark. Tony Stark, Iron Man. Head of Stark Industries. Avenger, Earth's mightiest heroes."

"
I don't know who that is or what the Avengers are. Should I?" He asked.

"…. "

"I'm going to go and smash some rocks,"
he said, going to hit the smallest rock.

"So much for alone time," Lee grumbled. But he got on the raft, deciding against swimming for now. Once the two were back to shore, Brook immediately grabbed them by their arms and pulled them to camp.

"What the Hell are you doing, you damn skeleton?!"

"Important news! The goblins! They found something!!"

"What?!"

Brook led them to camp, where they had a good view of the goblins guarding the tree fort. "Look! They have some sort of orange orb!!"

korgu_chideh_07.jpg

Sure enough, on the top of the fort, they guarded a small orange orb. "Do you think...that orb might help us get out of here?"

Lee was dumbstruck. "That...could it be?"

"Did you see it, everyone? Did you see?!" Efi rushed to the men, practically jumping with excitement. "That orb just appeared!! Maybe it's what we need to go home!"

Fred would find plenty of Stone Smashers laying about, perfect for mining work. The, he could go over and smash any rock he wanted: a smaller one, a medium-sized one, or a large one. (Note: sizes=difficulty level of riddle)

The Goron Hot Springs are close by the mines. The waters are a lovely aquamarine, and you can see a few Gorons resting up there. One of note is an older fellow with an eyepatch.

"I haven't had the best experiences when it comes to hot springs and women, but now that I'm past that, perhaps it would be fortuitous indeed to consider a nice rest there," Guy said, also opting for the hot springs.

Upon reaching the area, he whistled slightly at the sight of the hot springs, as well as the peaceful Gorons present. Approaching the older-looking one, he gave a two-fingered wave. "Yo! Are you the head of this little place? It wouldn't be any trouble if you'd let us indulge in these springs as well, would you?" He inquired.

"
You might need one of these," he said, walking over to the younger Peter and handing him a Stone Smasher.

"
Thanks," he said, still going for the smallest of the small rocks with his rock smasher.

@Jeremi

Grabbing one of the stone smashers Fred would get to work on the largest one there.

Linkle meanwhile spotted that Guy had followed her to the hot springs. "Oh hi Guy. I meant your name and you know, not just guy." She tagged along to the old Goron. "Yeah what this guy said. Sure seems like a really cool place you got here!"

@Yun Lee @Ver

Fred began working on the largest rock, which sparkled in the midday Sun. Clearly what lay within was valuable, so it would need some hard work to get it open.

A great banquet was prepared for a Roman emperor and his courtiers. 22 Dormice, 40 Larks' Tongues, 30 Flamingos and 40 Roast Parrots were served.
How many portions of Boiled Ostrich were served?

Peter would find a nice, small rock to work on. It might not have anything super fancy within, but you never know.

What goes up when the rain comes down?

"I don't run this place," he replied. "Well, I do, kinda. I run this whole settlement! The name's Bludo! And go ahead, this place does wonders for an aching back, or any other aches ya got!"

"Don't mind if I do!" Kaito said, more than happy to hop in.

"Leave your clothes on, take 'em off, it doesn't matter! They'll dry up fast up here!"
