"Welcome to the Southern Mine, goro!" Yunobo unrolled himself, and now faced the group. "I'm still cooking the Rock Roast, but I need more help. See, Bludo likes his roasts spiced..."

"Yeah, sure," Dell said. "We can grab some Goron Spice back in the city. Don't know why you wouldn't mention that before..."

"Oh! No, no. Bludo spices his food with gemstones, goro! I can do it myself, but I need to mine some gems for his meal. You guys can mine too while I do! The gems here sell well at market, goro. I won't take long, I promise!"

And with that, Yunobo rolled off. Dell looked at the others. Now he was at a loss for words. "Uh...I guess we're mining, now? Or you guys can just chill at the hot springs up that nearby path. I really...do not know."

Grievous picked a medium sized rock and started smashing with quick moves.
47 joined him with a rock smasher and also took a medium rock.

Fred was able to crush the rock with ease, and collected a Diamond and a Ruby.

Peter was also able to collect a prize, earning himself a piece of Flint and an Amber.

The medium rocks 47 and Grievous chose looked like those from the caves back on Day One. Surely those stones were valuable...

What question can someone ask all day long, always get completely different answers, and yet all the answers could be correct?

There is a clerk at the butcher shop, he is five feet ten inches tall, and he wears size 13 sneakers. He has a wife and 2 kids. What does he weigh?

"Yes, I figured, Linkle," Guy said with a light chuckle as she spoke to him. All things considered, maybe it actually was a bit surprising that confusion with his name didn't happen a bit more often, considering how somewhat uncommon one could say his name was.

Relaxing his expression as Bludo introduced himself, Guy recognizing the given name, he went ahead and bowed his head slightly, before raising it up again.

"Splendid. Thank you for your hospitality! But... Bludo, eh? If that's the case, I'd like to say, we're friends of Dell. I believe you two are acquainted?" He inquired, before beginning to take off his gloves, "We've come with him to discuss some matters with you, but what they are exactly... Well, it'd be best if it came from him directly. He should be appearing before us soon enough. In the meantime..."

Letting out a hot breath in the heated air, Guy went on to undo his vest, letting it drop to the floor, and unbutton his shirt as well, before baring his firm chest. "That's quite convenient indeed; clothes drying so quickly, so I wouldn't have to do so much. But... One can hardly deny the refreshing feeling of one's own skin coming into contact with the water," he commented, letting his shirt drop as well now.

Admittedly, Guy did feel lightly embarrassed (to say the least) to be in this position in front of Linkle, or rather, any girl at all. Phobias like his didn't just disappear overnight, despite what the others back home might have said after he'd saved Anise that one time, but he did make good progress over time, mending the trauma he'd once suffered. But it seemed like his mind was far from the only thing that became toughened over time, at the very least.

Rarely given a moment to himself, Guy never quite realized how fit his body had become after his old adventure. He was never a sedentary person; quite far from it actually, but there was a difference between how much he'd pushed himself during his day to day life with Luke and when he went on that old adventure with him and the others, perilously battling monsters and blackguards alike. All this jumping around, testing his mettle, mindlessly swinging his sword. He wasn't quite a peak specimen, but his body felt tighter than it once did, and yet he felt... lighter, comparing now to how he was to back then.

Guy had become stronger in many ways. He was no longer the person he once was.

Letting out a shaky breath, he proceeded to drop his weapons as well, leaving only his boots and pants on, before stepping into the hot spring alongside Kaito, letting the hot water blanket his body, feeling his muscles unwind in the process. Guy never realized how tense he'd been all this time, fooling even himself with his mask of a smile. Turning toward Kaito, he began to speak. "So then... Kaito, was it? We never did get to have a moment like this all on our own? It's good to relax like this once in a while, don't you think?"

Not exactly the type to relax at the hot springs, Ellie figured to try some mining to pass the time. Though, she wondered if Nadeshiko was doing okay even after all that's happened. Unlike her, the pinkette was practically just a normal high school girl dragged into this mess. She could barely imagine the thoughts the other had at this time, hopefully she would feel better over at the Gerudo Town.

For now, she figured to see if she could get anything out of a medium-sized rock.

Brook led them to camp, where they had a good view of the goblins guarding the tree fort. "Look! They have some sort of orange orb!!"

Sure enough, on the top of the fort, they guarded a small orange orb. "Do you think...that orb might help us get out of here?"

Lee was dumbstruck. "That...could it be?"

"Did you see it, everyone? Did you see?!" Efi rushed to the men, practically jumping with excitement. "That orb just appeared!! Maybe it's what we need to go home!"

"Perhaps it is what we need to utilize that platform... I recall a similar orb at Lady Impa's home as well," Jin murmured as he observed the fortress from afar with the others, considering their options. It seemed there was only one way up from what he could see so far, meaning a tilted confrontation might be impossible to avoid, and going in without softening them up would make it only more difficult. The ronin looked to Lee with an curious expression, "You wouldn't happen to have additional bows and arrows, would you? It would be best if we struck from afar at first before approaching the fort directly."

Shovel Knight silently nodded in response to Guy's explanation. Unfortunately, even a well-traveled hero such as the blue burrower himself had no recollection of any kingdoms with such. . .complicated names. The only 'kingdom' that Shovel Knight knew of was nothing more than a small patch of land consumed by a massive golden palace known as Pridemoor Keep. A fair and mighty king held the throne for quite awhile, until a gilded, decadant dandy known (ironically) as King Knight felt inclined to have his his own paltry shot at nobility.

Thankfully, just prior to being sucked in to this Hyrule madness, Shovel Knight cast the false monarch down and returned the throne to it's rightful king once more.

Such a lust for power makes a horrific combination with undeniable cowardliness. Shovel Knight couldn't grasp the concept of another knight being filled with such envy. . .perhaps, it's blissful ignorance in that case.

Regardless, Shovel Knight and the party had promptly arrived at the mines & hot spring combination, smoldering at every corner and filled to the brim with hardy Gorons of all shapes and sizes. The little knight watched Fred barrel ahead and get to work at smashing rocks alongside the Gorons, which made him consider the game himself. Had his Shovel Blade been with him, the proud knight would've made quick word of these paltry stones. However, in the absence of his familiar tool/weapon, Shovel Knight decided to let the effort fall into hands of Fred - it was his job, anyway.

Perhaps, the knight was deserving of a rest. He started off after Guy, Linkle, Kaito and the others up to the hot springs.

. . .

Then, he discovered the issue with this decision.

"A-ah, er. . .do not think me a coward, comrades, but. . .I'm not quite used to parting with my stalwart plate. I hope I'm still allowed a moment of respite here?" The knight timidly asked.

Considering how short he was, he either had the physique of an uncomfortably scrawny gnome. . .or, some kind of hairy, beef-laden dwarf.

Or something else. Something worse.

The Drifter went sailing (or, should I say drifting?) down the sandy aisles as the race kicked off, buckling his feet against whatever mount he had been using and letting his red cloak sail majestically in the rapid winds. The pulse of competition filled his plague-riddled body with a vigour it had not been built to sustain. The Drifter collected himself and let his blood cool, maintaining a stance of focus as he raced down the dunes with characteristic fury and remorselessness.

Wakaba headed towards the hot springs. It was certainly true that she was barren when it came to cash, but for the most part provisions seemed to come to them anyway. And with all the stress that'd been building up throughout this whole journey, a trip to a hot spring sounded quite nice. She felt a little guilty about it considering how little physical work she did, but the power of mental fatigue shouldn't be underestimated. Or so Hinata told her back home.

When she got there though, she crossed her arms and knitted her brows.

"Is there no separation here? Or is it turn based? But there's quite clearly a few people getting in already..." she muttered under her breath, deliberating the pros and cons of her options. Being able to get in with clothes was nice and all, but like Guy had said hot springs worked best when used as intended.

Deep in thought, she just glared at those in the spring with her knit brows without really thinking about it.

"Elixirs, my man!" Kaito didn't hesitate to strip down (to his underwear of course, there were ladies present) and hop right into the water. As he, and anyone else, did, they would feel any aches or pains they had melt away in the blink of an eye.

The fort itself had two red goblins, and one blue. One red was on a lookout post, the others were on the fort itself. Below was a fiery jelly monster.

"Bolts of lightning or arrows of flame would be appreciated, but all we require are sure shots," Jin replied with an approving nod before taking the bow, only slight hesitation in his handling of it. While his master's school had never focused much upon archery given the purity of the blade and one's own bdoy that required constant attention and meditation, the fundamentals had been taught to him over the years as a former samurai ought to be taught in the Way of the Bow to some extent. Thus, with the slowing of his breathing and the pulling of the bow taut as he angled it just right, the ronin took aim... and let loose the soaring arrow that arched in the arrow towards the goblin upon the lookout post, hoping to hit upon its head and send it tumbling from the little tower.

Unlike Grievous, who didn't mind to just smash it, 47 took a moment to get a better look at tbe rock. It seemed familiar to him. The same kind from that one cave. After being satisfied with the results, he too starts smashing it.

After standing out in the sun for a while, he decided some relaxing in the hot spring would be good. He sighed and took off his shirt, not noticing the creeping boy in the area.



He was a lot more muscular than you would expect. He had scars from when he had fought the goblins and due to his spidey healing being off, they were taking a while to heal.

Jin shot Lee an appreciating nod for the finishing strike on the first goblin, stringing another arrow as he spotted the slime sliding towards them. Without a second thought, he shot an arrow at it to end its approach, adding a second afterwards to ensure it died. If it died after the second arrow, it would be time to finally approach the tree fort with his blade drawn, stepping around the flames and keeping low to the ground to hopefully remain out of the sight of the blue goblin up above until he was on the walkway.

Just as with Fred, all three men went for large rocks.

A student zips on his scooter to ride to the train station to get to college. His home is close to two stops; the first one is a mile from home, and the second is two miles from home in the opposite direction. In the morning, he always gets on at the first stop and in the afternoon, he always gets off at the second one.
Why?

The fiery slime, once hit, grew larger, exploding into a large fiery blast. Lee rushed in, whipping out his Paraglider to ride the updraft onto the tree fort. Jin would notice in front of him, the orb rolling off the fort, followed by a cry of surprise. "Jin! Get that to camp! Now!" From the sound of clashing metal, it sounded like Jin had a bit of time.
