Quite the attitude, this kid had.

"That's two people. Fair enough. What are you without your butler, though?"

"Oh, please. If you're going to talk down to me, at least do it right. Sebastian is a mere pawn. Without him, I'm still one of the richest entrapunours in all of England, the Earl of Phantomhive, and the Queen's Guard Dog." Ciel stated, unwavered by Ben's attempts to talk down to him.

"I suppose I could ask you the same thing." A small smirk curled on his lips as he met eye contact with Ben.

"What are you without your that watch of yours, hmm?"

@Crow

"OoooKAY, kids, I think that's enough fighting for now, don't you think so?" Sumia would step between Ciel and Ben, pushing them away from each other. "Come on, we're all trying to look for Yuki, right? We should put our energy into that instead of silly arguments with each other!" Considering the fact that Sumia was now the only adult around this group of kids, she may as well act like it.

"Hmph... perhaps next time you should keep your dog on a leash, then." Ciel suggested a bit harshly.

"You're pretty far from England if you ask me, and I doubt this place has any banks to draw all your wealth from. I'm a world famous superhero back home, but over here, everyone I meet doesn't know me, a lot of people here have superpowers and skills that probably par with mine, and compared to them, I'm just a guy who can turn into a whole bunch of aliens, which is still a pretty cool thing."

"Glad you asked," Ben says as his hands glowed a bright purple aura around them. It seemed to be some sort of magic. "I was going to elaborate on my PhD, but I prefer to talk about this. Wanna see some tricks?"

That was when Sumia stepped in.

"Tricks later, Yuki first. Just look out for a uniform like those three. We're bound to find her."

@Crow @thatguyinthestore @Ver @Josh@Krieg @Atomic Knight @Yun Lee

Ciel only rolled his eye. "You know what I meant. Or, perhaps you didn't. You haven't shown even average intelligence by any stretch of the imagination so far."

"And I'll have you know that I'm not alone here. My faithful butler Sebastian is present as well."

@Crow @Josh @Krieg @Ver

"Hmmm.... then I suppose your world differs from mine greatly, then. In my world, cats are soulless creatures who lurk in alleyways and steal food like common thieves, yet also prove to be very alluring and remarkable in their own right. Why, I'd argue that they're almost as perplexing as you humans."

@Takumi @Yun Lee @CrunchyCHEEZIT

"With a world where faeries and creatures believed to be mere myth roam, I doubt many here would find my world similar to theirs." he spoke. Referring to his home as a world was still a bit odd to him, and would need some getting used to no doubt.

"Oh, please, elaborate on your petty degree. I'm more than a wealthy kid whom inherited his parents money. I'm a Phantomhive. That name alone is worth more than your pathetic PHD in any universe.

I do not wish to see your so-called tricks. I have grown bored of this conversation. Do not vex me again."
With that, Ciel turned away, almost certain that would be enough to get Ben to back off.

"Yes, I suppose it is." Sebastian replied with a smile.

@Takumi

Sumia would face Ben, now deciding to stop him from saying anything more to Ciel. Out of the two of them, Ben seemed to be the more reasonable, after all. "Say, why don't we try looking for Yuki in the opposite direction of that tower? She may be over that way."

"Ha, yes, quite."
Came Grace's respond. She figured that there was something...questionable about this man and his origin. "I do feel a bit rude having our own conversation here as those to beings loom above us, but I suppose it can't be helped can it?" If these beings were the cause of their transportation to this hellish realm, then they should expect some bad manners.

As Lucatiel and Siegward ventured in the opposite direction of the imposing giant hand, the faces of the cursed continued to haunt their surroundings, as the dark sky began to slowly be obscured by a ceiling that made itself known. From one unearthly sight to another, it seemed. Like most of the rest of the place, the area seemed to be an empty, grand field with nothing to it, though... however, it wasn't too long before something might have caught their eye.

"H-Help! Someone... Please help me!" The voice of an unfamiliar man called out in the distance. If one were to look in the direction from which his voice came from, they'd be able to see him to the side, both his legs trapped underneath the crevices between two of the giant faces that made up the ground. Taking notice of the two, the man waved his arm helplessly at them. "H-Help me, please! I'm... I'm stuck!"

"Rii-san!" Miki gasped in relief as another familiar face made herself known after calming down from Ben's transformation and reforming. It was something that she had trouble comprehending, so she simply didn't fully comprehend it. The hellhole she found herself in was hard enough to accept as it was. Not wanting to make another overly dramatic display like she did upon reuniting with Kurumi, Miki simply nodded toward Yuuri this time around, holding her arm as Ben and Sumia introduced themselves, the former engaging in some small banter with the petulant boy (it felt weird to see an even younger person than herself for once, and yet, he seemed to be one of the more calm people around, if not even mildly vexed by the whole situation).

She stayed silent as they bickered, letting Sumia simmer them down when Miki herself didn't feel up to standing between the two of them. Indeed, this was far from the time to be fighting amongst each other. Right now, they needed to find Yuki-senpai, and then... Well, they could think about what came after at a later time.

When Sumia then proceeded to suggest searching in the opposite direction of the tower, Miki was reluctant to answer, wondering if moving from their original spot was the best course of action, considering Yuki's... erratic behavior. However, if she was nowhere to be found where they were, then they had no other choice, right?

"U-Uhm... I-If you really think it's a good idea, we can move. Kurumi-chan? Rii-san? What do you two think? Should we take a look somewhere else for Yuki-senpai?" She asked, idly moving to pick up Taromarou in the meantime.

"Hmm? Ufufu... How amusing. What a lively little creature you are. Certainly more than the others down there. It'll be a shame when your time comes," Slan responded to Zoe, seemingly entertained by her pep. Void, on the other hand, was not quite as amused, assuming he even acknowledged Zoe's presence at all, remaining silent and still like a statue as Zoe spoke, the symbol of the mysterious brand continuing to glow in front of his face ominously.

To Arikado, the woman let out yet another sultry chuckle, moving her arms to hug her own body as she turned toward him. "I am God. Just as Void is God. And the others. But you need not worry about myself... child of darkness. You've been branded for sacrifice; you should be honored. My children will certainly enjoy you..." She breathed, partially answering Kokichi's question on the side, as the ground beside everyone slowly began to shift mysteriously, as though like an act of God, per the prayers of Libra. Or... perhaps not so. Slan shuddered lightly, continuing to giggle. "Mmm... 'Tis been a while since a man has looked at me like that. Without fear, without want... but just like that. Like a black swordsman..."

From the ground rose a number of beastly and identical monsters, brutish and demonic, with three eyes, one on each shoulder.

"Rrrrrr..."

Opening their massive maws, they stepped toward the group, their intent hopefully clear.

"Try if you wish to resist your fate. No human could ever hope to fight it in the end though. Resign or resist, it matters not to me. The result will always be the same. That is the will of causality," Slan sighed, all the while Void continued to simply remain still silently, and with that, the monsters roared, before leaping right at the group, ready to bite down and eat!

Oh Gods...was this truly to be their fate? To be devoured by grotesque monsters such as this with no say in the matter?

...no. Libra would not allow this. He could not allow this! No one deserved this, for any reason whatsoever. These Gods...what kind of Gods were they, to treat them all so callously? There were children here, and innocent people who deserved a better fate than this! And as a member of the Coalition-not just that, as a decent human being-it was his duty to make sure no one was harmed.

"Cease this at once!" Drawing his axe, Libra would swing at the monsters in order to keep them away from the others. "Fate can always be changed," he said through gritted teeth. "It is arrogance to assume one's fate until one has breathed their last!"

"Hey! I was talkin' to you, you pulsatin' bag of wo-!" Then the monster emerged. "I'm takin' this as a win you know!" He shouted up at Void before turning his full attention towards the monster, but still keeping his distance.

Grace meanwhile spotted the monster emerging as well. "I believe there's a fight on our hands so let's continue this conversation at another point shall we?" She responded to Sebastian before sizing up the creature.

Realizing a direct approach against this foe was fruitful, Grace cast Spiritual Hammer. As she did so a huge ethereal hammer emerged above the creature and if successful slammed down hard on it.

Soraka's Prologue
"A Starchild's Nightmare"

Everything was blurry.

It was all confusing.

Soraka couldn't see a thing, much less feel, hear or smell anything.

She called upon divine powers, willing it to restore her senses to their maximum capacity. For a few seconds, she tried out her senses.

But...

She just stood there, a sudden chill sweeping through her veins.

She stared in disbelief at this... hellish place surrounding her.

Everything was a horrifying sea of red.

There were blood-curdling screams, coming from the fleshy, disfigured walls.

For a few seconds, Soraka was utterly stunned. Until she heard voices. People, she thought.

I am not alone.

She took control of herself, casting away the fear that dared appear in her soul.

A searing, sharp pain enveloped enveloped her left hand. Ignoring the pain, she inspected her hand. She tried healing it, but it was of no use. The mark didn't disappear.

She looked around, confused. Nobody seemed to look familiar. But she can see a number of beastly, demonic monsters rise from the ground. She prepared her spells and straightened her staff, ready to heal anyone in her vincinity.

83CDF36455DD2AF933B653CDA2E2F783D77915A5

She was confused, disabled, and more importantly, vulnerable against this world. She could only pray for mercy amongst its people.

"What a terrible nightmare..."

The strange woman let out a laugh in response to Sebastian's words, both his acceptance at being outed as a demon, something he evidently wanted to keep a secret (not that the woman appeared to care all that much), and the rest of the response, leaning down toward him, and by extension, the rest of the group. "Hooh? Then in that case, perhaps I'll let you devour that little boy of yours, and then I'll help myself to you right after. What is it that you humans call it? Last rites?" She replied, once again licking her lips, this time in a more hungry fashion than a deliberately suggestive one. "Of course, to a demon like you of Hell... or, at least, so a human knows it as, perhaps instead of an end, it would be a return to nothingness. Is that not a comforting thought? To be erased and be reborn anew?"

To the others who questioned her so directly, the strange woman let out yet another sinister laugh.

"Ufufu... Who am I, you ask? I've gone by many names throughout my existence... Perhaps the easiest way to answer would be... God. Yes, I suppose that's the easiest way a human can accept the existence of one as I. And seeing as how I doubt to take you for godless folk, you wouldn't dare questions the acts of God, would you? A God as I though... I still have needs. Urges. As humans do, I hunger, so I devour. Really, you should count your blessings. To give yourself up for your God is the highest of pleasures for you humans, is it not?" She replied, not helping to shed much light on anything, though before long, another voice, booming and imposing, much more than the woman's, was heard, as yet another giant figure rose from the floor, the very ground rumbling and quaking as he did so.

eLRDlRj8TYC3ktL6FV3ibg.png

"That is quite enough, Slan," the source of the voice spoke. Indeed, the figure was perhaps even more frightening in appearance than the woman called "Slan," the figure sporting a long cloak and sickly, thin arms like twigs, yet extended longer than even the woman's wings, with a head that sported a great brain on top and a forced grin stuck in that expression. A truly grotesque face that did not move. Even when he spoke, his mouth remained completely still, mysteriously enough.

"Heeeh? I just wanted to toy with them for a little while... I get so easily bored, you see, dear Void."

"Nevertheless, do keep that you do not... interfere with the destination of their fates. The chosen sacrifices are... quite bountiful. But lest I forget..."

Raising his sickly thin arm to his face, the entity named "Void" conjured up the image of a glowing, green symbol.

hqdefault.jpg

"Just as humans with their cattle... The chosen sacrifices must be branded accordingly. We must begin the sacrifice now. Awaken the children, and seal their fates."

Before long, out of nowhere, a searing, sharp pain was felt in the group's left hands, as their skin began to open up slightly, as though an invisible knife was cutting through their flesh, and no less, in the shape of the glowing symbol in front of Void. Whatever force was conjured to perform such a phenomena, it seemed powerful enough to even override any regeneration abilities, as though the mark made there was intended to be permanent.

"Hmm?

This was very very bad. Even so, he couldn't just stand there and do nothing after all. Only someone without the means to fight would do so. He had his sword, so he may as well use it.

Lindel unsheathed his sword and would cut deep into the grotesque beast

"...H-Hey, Rii-san!" the shovel-wielding athlete smiled, straightening her generally relaxed pose to the presence of the School Live Club's president. It was a bit relieving to see one of the upperclassmen still present, Kurumi not wanting to be burdened caring on her own for the younger members of the School Live Club. Nii-san, unlike Ebisuzawa, always kept a levelheaded demeanor. Kurumi herself often let her anger and arrogance get the better of her -- energetic strength overriding harmonic wisdom.

"Uhh..." Kurumi slowly spoke, banging her shovel on the ground to the two boys rattling at one another. So far, Kurumi didn't like the shapeshifting brown-haired twerp, and while the blue-haired one was admittedly cute, he had an excessively sharp tongue. "Ayyo! Can you two quit yapping like cats and dogs? We gotta find Yuki, okay?" Kurumi grumbled audibly, taking a few steps forward before abruptly pausing.

"Uhh...so where do we start exactly..."

"..."

Back.

Forth.

Back.

Forth.

What's a cat?

The knight looked intently between Lindel and Sebastian as they discussed. It knew a few words of what they were talking about, but otherwise, it didn't make much sense. The knight was utterly still until it heard the woman named "Slan" begin to speak again, prompting a sudden presence to assault the area. Movement stirred from behind the Knight, growing closer with the sound of growling.

This was "danger".

SHOOM

As one of the beasts attempted to gobble the small thing whole, it would find it's teeth chewing on nothing tangible. A cloud of black smoke remained in place of where the Knight was, bounding and swirling upwards into the open air. It took shape and re-solidified, taking on the form of the small Knight. For something that was so still before, it was far faster than something that small would normally be. The knight gripped the hilt of it's Nail and let gravity drive the blade downwards into the creature's grotesque body, cleaving through it's putrid flesh like a hot knife through butter.

Those who watched the knight pierce the creature would notice a glowing, milky substance seep from the creature's corpse, drifting along the knight's blade and eventually into it's body. It wasn't blood, for that came gushing out of the Apostle's body like a geyser, in whatever color it may be. It was. . .something else.

Yet, the Hollow Knight didn't stop moving. It planted it's feet on the demon's body as it collapsed, using it as a base to leap off of and dash forward into the other monsters as they emerged from the abyss.

SHNK!

The knight sliced in a wide arc to the right, delivering a deep gash into another batch of the monsters. They reacted appropriately, clambering forward and attempting to the catch the little warrior in their wretched jaws, but it was already off the ground again - hopping into the air over their "heads" and slicing downwards once more, "bouncing" off of each creature with each slash, thus maintaining it's mobility in the air. Each slash with the Nail resulted in that same white substance appearing, drifting from the mangled corpses towards the knight. Whatever it was, it seems as if it was "collecting" it from those things.

The warrior would not tire, however. It hacked and slashed through each monster as they appeared, not showing any decrease in speed or power. Was it truly tireless? Or would the so-called "Gods" here simply need to break it themselves?

Yuuri stared at Ben's hand as she tool a minute to calm her nerves. No one could tell from the outside, but the club leader was all nerves inside. However, she had to be strong for Kurumi, Miki, and Yuki's sake. still holding Taromaru, she nodded instead.

As Ben and the other boy fought, and Kurumi verbally lashed at them, Yuuri seemed annoyed as she slowly steamed at the three. Taromaru filled with fear as he jumped from the Yuuri's arms and hid behind Sumia. cowering dramatically. Yuuki quietly glared at the three before speaking. Her voice never was soft, but her intentions was clear.

"We all going to be nice, right?"

After her soft scolding, she turned to Sumia.

"Your right, Sumia-san. We need find Yuki, but splitting up....

"Splitting up would be a quicker way to cover more grown, but how about we all just look for her in one group? Safety in numbers after all."

Sumia nodded at Yuuri's comments. "Well...there seems to be only two ways to go! And since one big group went to the tower, I think if we all move away from it, that'll help cover ground! Besides, Astolfo is helping to look, and went to the tower, right? So with one big group there, and all us here, I think we'll all be okay!"
