Mike and Josh- Rewrite The Ending

Mike nodded as Ben advised him to look out for Josh. He knew the world he was going back wasn't good. He knew through Sam that everyone expect Matt was missing ,Emily was dead, Jessica was most likely dead, but the rest of his friends were still okay. He didn't intend to not take the book which granted him fire abilities with him. He took it with him. As he dragged Josh with him, they were awake in the woods towards the house.

" Mike, what are you doing?" Josh asked, noticing that he wasn't moving at the moment. Mike composed himself as he saw Sam, Chris and Ashley.

" Rewriting the ending, Josh, rewriting the ending," Mike simply replied. He dashed towards the house and looked at the others. " We barely got out. How are we going to destroy this without someone dying?" Ashley asked.

" I think I have the solution," Mike replied to the remaining trio.

" Mike, you're alive as is Josh," Sam replied, trying to surprise her. Mike mumbled under his breath.

" Everyone step the fuck back," Mike said, shooting the whole house aflame holding the book in his head.

Matt arrived just after Mike set everything on fire. " Let's go home now. Josh has the key and we don't have to worry about those wendigos bugging us," he said.

" Are you going to explain how the fuck you did that?" Chris asked. Mike remained silent, walking off to the lift.

" Trust me, Cochise, you wouldn't believe us if we told you," Josh replied, walking off with Mike. With a simple shrug, Chris, Ashley, Sam and Matt begrudgingly followed back to the lift and to head home by their cars.

Survivors: 6? READ ERROR- CANNOT COMPUTE, NOT ONE OF 256 POSSIBLE ENDINGS.

As the seven left behind the cabin in the woods, they survived the night and for Mike and Josh, something much worse. The ending had been rewritten and as such, the universe wasn't quite done with Sam, Mike, Josh, Chris ,Ashley and Matt, but for now, let them have their happy ending. Even if it wasn't forever, just let them have this one moment.

Fin.

Epilogue - Searching for strays

With the final farewells having been said Morte and Grace returned back to their home reality. They found themselves outside of the Brothel for Slaking Intellectual Lusts. "That was certainly a adventure to be remembered." Grace sounded calm and serene as she said that, like they just hadn't gone through a life and death scenario. "And we made some new friends."

"Heh, yeah..." Morte chuckled nervously.

"Well considering our ordeal, I am absolutely in need of a bath and rest. Goodbye, Morte." As she was heading inside Morte called out to her.

"H-hey! Grace!"

Stopping Grace turned to face the floating skull. "Yes? What is it Morte?"

If Morte could shuffle his feet then that's what he'd be doing right now. "Were you going to look for the Nameless One tomorrow?"

She pondered his question for a moment before answering. "I was considering it. Why?"

"Well...it's just that. If you'd like I could tag along again? Two pair of eyes are better then one after all."

Grace smiled as she replied. "You are always welcome to join me, Morte. I will see you tomorrow then." With that both of them went their separate ways to decompress what they had been through. Now more than ever both of them were filled with determination to find their friend. Darkness can only be defeated by the light.

Epilogue: Sumia and Libra
"Repose and Revelations"

And so, their mission completed and goodbyes said, Sumia and Libra departed for their own worlds. Sumia returned to Ylisse, continuing to raise her beloved Pegasi, but never forgetting the adventure and friends she made on her journey. Perhaps someday, she will star in another story. But who knows? That is for another day. For now, the other of the pair is the focus.

Libra had already decided he would return to Ash, long before their fight with Dracula. He was needed in such a place, and was determined to help those who still needed his aid. That was his purpose, he ultimately decided. He would go where the multiverse needed him. And right now? That place was still Ash.

He would not soon forget this world, or the people he met on this trip. Dracula, a monster who had, quite frankly, deserved the penance he received for his sins. Libra usually never considered killing an enemy the will of the gods...but for one such as Dracula, it was the exception.

He also never would forget Luca. They'd only known each other for a day, but her charm, her kindness, her compassion...it shone through and touched his heart. And...she had touched him, as well. Literally...he usually feared being touched, but when she did it...it was not a bad feeling. In fact...it was rather lovely. He doubted thst he would get his selfish wish to see her again. But...that was all right. He had work to do, after all.

But throughout all this, there was one name he would never be able to forget. Ever since he had become acquainted with it, even for the shortest amount of time, it wouldn't be one he could ever get rid of.

Kirei Kotomine.

A name he had heard in passing, while at The Torch. The man who had stolen the Arch Demon's arm, set into motion Murder Games all over the multiverse before his defeat...of course, Libra only knew the bare essentials. The things they only taught in lecture. There was more, far more he was missing. What had Constantine spoke of, when he mentioned the incident at Headquarters? What had happened? He had been so out of the loop on Ash, as it were, that he really did not know what was going on.

So, he was going to listen. He was going to learn, and see what he had missed out on. And, above all else, he would make his role in the multiverse a proactive one. It was going to be dangerous. It would not always end in success. But Libra was not worried. He had given his fears up long ago, to put his faith completely in the gods. And, they had not failed him thus far. Surely they wouldn't now.

And so, he pressed on, this experience having changed the priest more than he realized. Whether for better or for worse...well, time can only tell.

The End

Epilogue: Yuletide Chaos

Lindel stepped through the portal and was greeted with an expanse of white. Winter was present in the Dragon's Aerie, and one of the first things to greet him other than the snow was his familiar along with a large dragon-which was known as Paulina.

In the following minutes as he was being greeted by dragons of different kinds and sizes however, two dragon whelps had wondered too far from the nest. One voiced his concerns, while the other assured her companion that they would be fine.

"But kids aren't supposed to go this far. It's not safe." the first persisted.

"Woah, there's something shiny!" the second exclaimed, running towards whatever they found glinting on the ground,

"Ah wait up!" the second exclaimed as they followed, in the end both setting off a trap.

A small group of four poachers approached the immobilized young dragons, more than pleased with their catch.

"Let's hurry." one said, but it was too late. One of their own ended up with a blade through their chest.

"Fools. Surrender and return to the soil." Lindel spoke evenly, a steady glare for each of the remaining men.

To even think of laying a hand on one of his charges. If it meant killing to protect the dragons that remained, and to protect those unaware of their existance, then so be it. He'll continue this lonely life without so much as batting an eye towards the blood on his hands.

It's a good thing I returned home when I did. Lindel thought.

Something was...off however, and the mage felt it when strange tendrils would come out of the rest of the poachers' necks, leaving the blonde alarmed when another would speak, one sounding young.

"Nice to meet you, mister caretaker."

One of the poachers popped open a small vile, and in a flash of light were gone.

"!!"

Although time had moved forward again at a steady pace, what Lindel didn't know, was that this encounter would effect his ties with the multiverse in many ways in the near future.

The End.
