Rolien takes little time to catch her breath "Fantasma... may be... in danger..." Rolien said quickly and out of breath "T-this way..." she then said before she started to sprint back towards the doors to get out of Hogwarts. Not giving either a chance to ask more questions, she just ran. She wasn't going to leave the teacher just like that. She was going to help.

That...wasn't at all the response he was expecting. Head snapping up to look at McGonagall to see if she was being serious, his eyebrows would raise in light disbelief.
Glancing up to Rio when asked if he wanted to go, he had to think on it a moment. After what happened on Halloween, he really didn't feel up for another creepy fiasco, but he also didn't want to know what Rio would do in a situation like that without him, so he sighed.
"I-I'm going with you." he said matter-of-factly, or at least tried to sound as sure as possible despite the wavering in his tone.

Rio regarded Kit for a moment. Poor kid must have been really scared. But Rio couldn't be prouder of his little brother. This was such a brave thing to do, and for Kit to want to...man, that Myre blood was really flowing! Of course, Rio would be cautious with his little brother around, but for now, he rushed back to his dorm to get ready.

He had no idea why, really, but this color was all too perfect. Uttering the charm spell, Rio rushed out to meet McGonagall, his hair a brilliant turquoise. Once he rejoined the group, he would give a smile-confident, but still nervous about what they would be doing. "Let's do this!"

Melody froze for a moment and for just a moment, her face went as cold as ice, and her posture serious. But that emotion only appeared briefly, and she broke down laughing.
“Ahahaha! Actions are a consequence of emotions, and since I now admit my mind is haywire, Then you shouldn’t be surprised!~ and you see, I am a very emotional idiot who must be on the brink of madness! Hahaha....Oh. Seems like the charm is wearing off, It’s best I get this over with! So, Professor? This talk has gone on for far too long, shall it be suspension? Dentention, or something else? I’m starting to go insane by this conversation, I hate when things are too long!”

"So it wasn't enough..." Gloriosa replied with an uncharacteristically somber tone, but before she could say anything else Rolien was already on the move. "H-Hey! Hold on!" She ran after her, considering what was going on in the school it was probably for the best to follow.

As they went down to the courtyard they still found the storm raging on and Professor McGonagall waiting for them. "We're on the clock now. Follow me, children."
While the snow was coming down hard they luckily didn't have to go very far as the professor stopped at the weeping well. "You do not know how much it has pained me to walk these halls and not stop what Umbridge has done here." She took her wand and tapped it on the side of the well making a spiral stone staircase appear in it for the group to walk down. "Wands ready, I don't know what might be waiting for us down there."

"Then shut up and listen," Swagglebone snapped at her. "I. Don't. Care. Burn this entire place to the ground for all I care." That was the final thing he said as he started to make his way out of the classroom.

"The monster is a symptom of a much larger problem," She replied as they continued down the stairs. "What she has been doing here well...unspeakable things I have no doubt, I just hope we aren't too late." The trek down didn't take them too long as they found themselves in a hallway with torches burning on the walls. The wet footprints on the floor implied that someone had been here recently, which fit together with the Umbridge sighting. "No one should bother us right now. so if there are any questions I will try to answer them to the best of my ability."

Happening to be walking down the very same hallway, Wisteria only tilted her head curiously for a moment before deciding to follow along. Too many strange things had been happening for her to brush off a student running around calling for help.
Though even outside these circumstances, ignoring someone asking for help wouldn't have been exactly nice either.

As the group ran out the blizzard had calmed considerably from how it had been just a few minutes ago, and while snow was still falling visibility was much clearer then what it hade been for a good month now. Considering how deep the snow had been it was quite easy to track Rolien's prints back to where she had left Fantasma.
However as they got there they were met by what seemed to have been a stampede. Deep abnormal prints were scattered in the area and there was blood in the snow painting the ground a deep crimson. Next to one of the areas with the blood they found the broken glasses of Professor Fantasma. "..." Gloriosa was quiet as she surveyed the area, but it was hard to tell where the prints lead. It was as if they had vanished into thin air.

Professor McGonagall couldn't stop herself as she let out a chuckle. "Ah, yes, Umbridge the war hero. Another cruel joke on top of many." She turned to face them all with a very serious look on her face. "Dolores Umbridge is a monstrous liar whose delusions has put all of us in jeopardy. She's no hero, she's a traitor who deliberately sided with Voldemort and received her punishment in kind. But she couldn't accept that, no, not Dolores Umbridge. Out of spite and convenance we now find ourselves in this nightmare of her creation."

"U-Umbridge sided with... You-Know-Who? But that's..." Juno trailed off in disbelief, barely able to register all that McGonagall had thrown her way. That couldn't be! That couldn't possibly be the explanation for all the strange happenings around Hogwarts, could it? Of course, the professor here hardly looked as though she were joking, and yet, it was something the girl had some trouble swallowing.
"But... What do you mean we're in a nightmare? You couldn't possibly mean she's... somehow altered something relating to our perception of things? Surely, not even the Dark Arts could be capable of such a thing," she braved to ponder.

"Oh no," She assured Juno. "Even before all of this Umbridge was and always will be a mediocre witch. She's just a puppet to something bigger. That is the real cause of all of this. Whatever we are facing puts any Dark Arts you could imagine to shame. That's why we've been trying to be so secretive. As to not repeat the cycle, but we're running out of time."

The revealing charm had nothing to reveal. There was nothing hidden to be unearthed. The tracks just seemed to have suddenly just stopped leaving behind the stamped out area that they were now standing on.

The footprints were abnormal but the prints disappeared. Either whatever had killed the Professor had lifted into the air or literally just disappeared.

All of this made Kit's stomach twist in knots, using his free hand, he would latch onto his older brother's sleeve quietly.
"What exactly do you mean by the cycle?" he decided to speak up, the way McGonagall spoke sounded as if another war was going to break out--or something much much worse.

"The understatement of the century, Mr Miles." Professor McGonagall responded waiting for Kit to answer his question before elaborating.
She sighed at Kit's question. How to explain what she had been dealing with for so long now. "Every time around Christmas break, the entire school gets slaughtered by those demons you saw Professor Fantasma dispose off a few months ago. Only for it to repeat itself for another round. That's why I said we're running out of time. Because it's about to happen again. And I will not sit through yet another cycle, no I most certainly will not!"
