Hela turned around and laughed at everyone... every single one of them. "I don't think any of you understand a single thing. I don't need anyone. So if you are going to push me off and be scums... I suppose I will just kill you all right here, right now." Hela said. In that instant, hundreds... no thousands... no, millions... of blades rose up, and all of them surrounded not just Sinestro, but Megatron's weak points, all around Candi, Larxene, and everyone that was in the jail room. If anyone moved an inch, they would get stabbed. "Hmhmhmhmhm... Want to try and wiggle out of this one Sinestro? Go ahead and try. As for everyone else, I can kill you all once I'm finished proving my point to the bastard who does not realize his place." Hela said as she soon made a hundred more swords, and walked towards Sinestro.

@Sark @Everyone
"I've grown tired of you, Hela. So very, very tired. You have no point to prove. No cards left to play..."

Sinestro presenting Hela with a drained frown, his eyebrows raised. In a word, the look was condescending. Hela was a puppy backed into a corner, and her options had run out. She couldn't threaten a force that didn't fear her. She couldn't fool a force smarter than her. At that moment in time, Hela was outnumbered, outmatched and outmanned. Perhaps she was more dangerous under these circumstances? Or perhaps she was simply getting wreckless? As the focal point of her fury, Sinestro could only feel flattered.

"26 words. 26 words and your word falls apart. Would you like to hear them?"

Transing his fingers along the edge of the blades at his sides. As his hands danced, that similar rhyme danced through his ears, dulling any pain and freeing his body of hesitation. Fearless, as always, he spoke.

"In Blackest Day"

"In Brightest Night"

"Beware Your Fears Made into Light"

"Let Those Who Try to Stop What's Right"

"Burn Like My Power"

"Sinestro's Might!"

Channelling his fear and focus through his very bones, a wave of golden flame engulfed Sinestro's body as it had on that fateful night in the Sciencells. Rippling through the air like smoke from the lips of a dragon, the flare of emotion surged forth towards his wrist, the point of the plume reaching out towards his right middle finger. Once there, it wrapped itself around his hand like a cobra.

"Condensed Will and Terror. A gift I had hoped to save for our captors... but I'll settle for using it to showing you your place"

In a flash of yellow light, his uniform changed again, the navy blue that had once coated his collar and arms brightened until it shifted into a glimmering yellow. At his chest, the crest that had engulfed so many words in fear; the Crest of the Sinestro Corp.
NervousSlightGallinule-size_restricted.gif

Things had gone so much better than he had hoped. With every act, Hela simply dug her grave deeper and deeper. With every strike, she isolated herself more and more. She had better be prepared to go in alone because, after her final outburst, no one would bless her with shelter now. Alone. Isolated. Weak.

Releasing a wave of his own spikes from his back, his 8 hard-light spider legs sliced through the blades around his person with ease, before fading from sight. Across his body and face, a thin golden shield appeared, forming a second skin across his person, shielding him from any more of Hela's strikes.

Damn. His counter fit's creation was rushed. It wouldn't last more than half an hour of full capacity use. Still. It would be more than enough to keep Hela in line.

Swinging his wrist to the side, Sinestro performing a traditional Corp Ring-Sling, a golden whip leading from his ring and wrapping itself around Hela's arms and waits. Once ensnared, the rope would tighten, expand, and take on the form of several thick surgical straps. Similar bindings would close in around her ankles and hands.

"Give it up, Hela. Our captors are limiting our strength. You cannot win here. Give. Yourself. Up. We don't want to kill you, but we will. Painfully. Unless you yield"
"There is a saying - actions speak louder than words, and I believe that you've spoken much more than enough, too much, in fact."

Megatron grabs a floating sword with each arm and crushes them into scrap. As he moved, any sword in the way of his arms would just bend towards its hilt.

"I may have been freed from Unicron's thrall years ago, but the body he has given me still possesses its intended capabilities. Your Necroswords are rendered ineffective upon an armour forged by another deity of death. If power and threat alone are your sole physical justifications for leadership, then leadership does not belong to you."

"The General is right. Your strength holds no value here; it is tuppence. You have proven yourself to be unworthy of the mantle of leadership time and time again" Turning an eye towards Megatron, Sinestro surrendered some of his feinted authority towards the machine. "What should we do with this... Delinquent? Another chance? Back to the cells? Or maybe we do her a favour and bless her with a painless execution?"
"Hm... I suppose you, once again, make another valid point." Hela said. At once, all Necroswords vaporized. "If I was, note I said was, the leader of this Alliance, you'd be a counselor to me. But I suppose I wouldn't mind ruling under someone so wise as yourself. Your attitude seems much like my father, Odin, at his best." Hela praised Megatron. "So you shall lead us, General. And I will humbly follow." Hela said, understanding Megatron would indeed be a better candidate than herself. I mean when she thought about it, who would rather go with rule under a Goddess of Death when they can go with a General?

@Crow @Everyone
"You shall not whisper your poison into any of our ears, Witch. Mere moments ago you tried to kill us. You've made 2 failed attempts- note how I said failed-" He mocked "On my life alone, for simply speaking words you didn't want to hear. You've proven yourself unworthy of governance time and time again. Pitiful. To have been proven weak only to grovel to return to our ranks. Has fear of death driven you from your independence? Or is it another desperate and gluttonous grasp at power? You're nothing more than a 'Queen' on her knees, Hela. A shameful contradiction. A traitor. I turn my ears from your lies. Others have done the same. I advise the General joins us in this endeavour, lest we simply gag you"
"Well, Hela, I'ma rip a page out of your book. If I can't use my weapons, but my powers - I don't even know if you'd call 'em that - are still here..." God, I dunno. I could be endangering the lives of so many people. It'd be a huge risk. Candi smiled as her hair grew longer. But "Candi" and "risks " go well together. I just need Sinestro to distract, and KAPOW! She'll get a long strand of hair across her face, grappling her neck, or through her chest. Ooh... the last one sounds fun. Candi watched the scene unfold. Now Robocop was helping take Ms. Stabby down a notch? That was good.

...and then she watched Hela give up to Megatron. Godammit! Candi punched her palm. Just when I was about to do something too! I swear, that daughter of a bitch is gonna get it! Candi, seeing the swords disappearing, made her hair shorten again. I never want to see her face again, unless it's bleeding! Candi remember Ashe was talking to the man with shades - he was probably busy convincing them to join their cause. Candi pulled her hair. I hope we don't get anymore wackos in this so-called "alliance..."

Candi shook her head. Can't focus on Ms. Stabby right now. Need new members for alliance... but now I'm talking in secret. And only with people who look relatively sane, she thought, shooting a sharp glare in Hela's direction. I can't afford to work with Satan Man... though he will be decent backup. The redhead seems legit, and Sparky... well, I'll get 'er in this soon enough. First, though....

"All right, kiddies, we're going to have to put out some fucking rules if you're gonna wanna be in this group that could very much help you save your life. Rule one? NO STABBING. Rule 2: to be decided. But this isn't gonna work out if we continue how it is, no way."
"Quite right, Candi" Sinestro smirked "Any Alliance with women like Hela anywhere near its stead is destined to fail. She's a liability; if she has tried to kill us once she will surely try to do so again, and we cannot fight our way to freedom with our heads over our shoulders"

In a hushed tone, Thaal offered Candi a greeting one she could hear.

"Watch your back, ally. If Hela is released, I am certain she will strike at us again. You and I will be made her first targets; I shall watch your back should you continue to watch mine..."

Isa lagged behind the group, choosing not meeting anyone's gaze, least of all those he had spoken to across from his cell earlier. The other prisoners were already starting to argue and some were confessing to various crimes they had committed. It all put Isa incredibly ill at ease. "I'm... not supposed to be here," he mumbled, mostly to himself.

"Ah, those powers of yours," the Overseer said through the bracelets. "For some of you, it may have taken more time, but by now, all of you who had abilities beyond that of a normal human being should start feeling all of that sapping away. For now, I would like to see how you perform without your reliance on... crutches."

The Overseer was not lying, for the powers that had been displayed quickly dissipated and drained from the more rowdy individuals.

As the group finally proceeded up the concrete steps, they entered into the bottom of a tall, circular room. The floor was covered in dark red and black stains, as well as similar junk that could be seen back in the cells. The middle of the floor was covered in a grate, implying that the floor was suspended. A ladder to the left side led up to metal scaffolding above, though it looked like it could collapse at any moment. There was a door across the room from where the group entered, with two large storage crates flanking the door.

Akande had a bad feeling about this room. The stains, the ladder, the grate...he couldn't help but think that this Overseer had something awful planned. "So, Overseer," he said, looking around. "Would you be so kind as to tell us what we're supposed to do here? Or is your intent for us to figure it all out ourselves?"

"Well..." Thaal raised his eyes upwards towards the crumbling ceilings above "I doubt this passed any building regulations... stick to the walls, Allies; if the roof falls through, then we're going to want something to hold on to; the grate wont be able to hold the added weght of the rubble"

Sinestro began to pace the perimeter of the room, eventually reaching the storage containers at its opposite end

"Let's see... what do we have in here?"

"You want to escape, do you not?" said the Overseer through Akande's bracelet. She had nothing else to say following that.

The storage containers were large metal bins covered in beige tarps. It seemed one would have to pull off the tarp to access the bins.

@Yun Lee @Sark

"Well, then." Escape, huh? He had a feeling it wouldn't be so easy, but all right. Walkimg to the other crate, Akande looked to Sinestro. "I pull this tarp off, you pull that one?" He had no clue what waited for them inside, but whatever it was, he was ready for it.

"..."

Izuru slipped past Akande and Sinestro, unintentionally placing himself within sight of the group once more. His movements were slow and deliberate, seeming as if he was wandering aimlessly around the room out of boredom, until he halted at the center of the room and glared down the grate in the floor, peering to see if there was anything beneath the suspended room they were in.

The very first thing that interested Will were the stains on the floor. He tried to see if he could get a sample out of them. He doubted that his analysis feature was working, but he wouldn't know unless he would try. He didn't know what this Overseer considered to be "powers."

Following suit, Akande would step back, holding one side of the tarp in his hands as he yanked it off. With his strength inhibited for the time being, he would need to use his brain here. And his brain told him to be on his guard, no matter what tricks awaited them.

@Atomic Knight @Sark @CrunchyCHEEZIT @Lucky

Hela watched as they removed the tarp. At any moment she would fire her blades if whatever was in there was hostile. Everyone was against her now, but what did she care? She easily was more powerful than these fools... although she did have to admit, she had gotten off on the wrong foot with many people surrounding her... so she would stay silent and get them back on her side. It's what any good cooperative person would do. She just had to wait for the right moment to speak.

@Sark @Yun Lee @Atomic Knight @Crow @will30358

When RK-900 tested the stains, he found that the darker stains was human blood. However, some of the stains seemed to be an unknown fluid.

The space below the grate in the floor was nothing more than an abyss. It was impossible to see what was below or how far down the darkness went.

As the tarps were pulled, something heavy dropped from the bin closest to Akande. It landed with a dull thud, tangled in the tarp. Otherwise, nothing seemed out of the usual for the storage containers.

Megatron remained silent through Hela's compliments. The thought of leading a faction after (unsuccessfully) disbanding the Decepticons, that was something.

"A slap on the wrist, as they say, until she does so again. While I have picked the path of mercy, many others may not," Megatron responds, "do not waste this provided chance, Hela. Do not threaten or hinder us again."

And so they have arrived in the room.

Megatron attempts to shift the metal plating on his body, seeing if whatever took their powers took his ability to transform into his vehicle mode. If successful, he would transform back.

"Using human physiology as a basis for 'superhuman'. How quaint. Not that my transformation will help in an indoor area such as this one."

"... Hmm."

Deciding to stick back and let the others investigate their surroundings, seemingly on a complete whim, Larxene suddenly gravitated toward Isa of all people, wrapping her robed arm around the boy's shoulders in a familiar manner, strangely acting some sort of friendly toward him as she gazed upon him.

"I really don't belong here either, but what can you do? Still, it's not so bad. After all, what are friends for if not to endure hardships together, huh?" She said in a strangely jocular manner as she gave a knowing grin at the boy's way. "How long do you figure it'll take until everyone cracks and does each other in? A few hours, maybe?"

Will Nines

" Some of these darker stains were human blood, but I cannot make out some of these samples sadly," he replied, not exactly directing it towards anyone in the group.

Will decided to walk over to the tarp and noticed the dull thud and slowly approached to see if he could retrieve what had fallen and seeing if it was useful to them. He didn't say anything as he did this in case it was a trap.

@Atomic Knight @Yun Lee @Sark @CrunchyCHEEZIT @Siege

Noticing Will working to get whatever was in the tarp, Akande started silently untangling the tarp himself. While he did so, he felt for the strength and durability of said tarp. He looked to Megatron. "If you can help someone up to the scaffolding, we could use these tarps to help others climb up if we tie them together...granted they are strong enough to carry our weight."

When Ashe asked Wekser for his name, he was a bit surprised. "Um...my name is Albert Wesker. You'd be wise to remeber it." Curious little specimen wasn't he? From then on, Wesker remained silent as he listened to the conversations around him. The one named Candi stood out in particular, trying to form her own little team as it would seem. The one who called herself Hela also stood out. She carried herself like some sort of goddess. Wesker rolled his eyes and brushed her off. The boy Ashe seemed to be easily influenced by those around him. Making an ally of him could be easy, though he seemed to be "friends" with quite a few of them now. "Listen kid, if there is one thing you must understand it's that no alliance is permanent. The moment you become worthless or maybe even a burden, these people won't pull your weight." As he was saying this, Hela started to threaten Sinestro, plunging swords into his body. "See that? That will be your fate if you get too comfortable."
@Crimson Spartan @will30358 @Siege @anyone else who would have likely heard that
"I understand Mister Wesker. I can only hope to keep pulling my weight for as long as the alliance holds. I'm Ashe Bradley by the way it's nice to meet you Mister Wesker." Ashe would speak to Wesker as he saw the feud erupt and then calm down deciding not to get involved himself. So he pressed on with the others until they entered a new room. The ladder looked unstable and it seemed others were checking out the crates. Ashe then noticed the door perhaps wondering if it might be the way out. For now Ashe stayed back keeping close to the wall as he would observe what came out of the crate.

"Hey now, she let us in here. What'd be the point of that if Miss Disembodied Voice didn't want us to find what's in here? I don't think we're gonna find anything like that at all. We're still just dancing in the palm of her hand. If we escape, it's because the game lets us."

Sera continued speaking cheerfully despite her words, having basically ignored the small falling out of their unstable alliance.

"Don't mind if I do!"

Suddenly clinging to the ladder, Sera began to climb up it without much visible concern. Whether she was simply bored and wanted something to do or seriously wanted to help might have been difficult to discern, but in the end the result was the same. She was probably among the smallest of the group, so anything structurally unsound would be least likely to break while she was on it.

"Let's see what's up here...don't let me fall down there, though!"

She looked down at Megatron for a moment, grinning widely as she spoke, before moving to fully scale the ladder.

Megatron could still transform into his vehicle mode, though it was not very useful within this space.

@Crow

When the tarp was moved to reveal what had fallen, it turned out to be a dead human body. An intense, sickening smell overcame the room. Isa gagged and coughed, unable to respond to Larxene for the moment. The body was dressed in the attire of a soldier and his face was red and bloated. On his belt was a single pistol and a ring of keys with two separate keys.

Isa continued to cough, though whether it was due to the smell or Larxene putting his arm around him was unclear. "Who--?" He grimaced and pulled away from her, finding himself annoyed with her for a reason beyond her just being touchy. He exchanged glances between Larxene and the dead body, his mind unable to comprehend exactly what was happening. Isa had never seen such a thing before... or at least, so he believed. "... Doesn't look like it'll be long for any of us," he said to Larxene.

As for the tarp, it was tough and sturdy, evidently strong enough to hold at least a single adult male in suspension. With the tarps down, the two storage crates could be opened from the front.

The ladder and scaffolding creaked loudly once Sera started climbing up. It was a long way up, too big for anyone to get up to without the ladder. It didn't seem at risk of falling, at least for the moment.

Suddenly, a light above the closed door between the storage crates turned green.
