Gwen said, "I will take it."

Billy smiled, glad he could help his new sister.

Ms. Tulip came to the door of Billy's room and waited for the kids to finish their game for it was nearly dinner time.

Gwen smiles, "Good luck to you Billy."

 

[Kiki Zapatos]

Billy replies, his eyes twinkling; "Thanks! You too."

Gwen said, "You are very welcome. Thank you Billy."

 

[Kiki Zapatos]

They finish the game and Ms. Tulip tells them to wash up. "It's dinner time kids."

15 minutes later...
Billy smiles at his mom as he sits down at the table. "All clean Mom!"

Ms. Tulip says, "Good. Gwen? You washed your hands?"

Gwen washed her hands and said, "Yes ma'am."

 

[Kiki Zapatos]

Ms. Tulip replies, "Great. Now let's say a quick prayer. Bless us, O Lord, and these, Thy gifts, which we are about to receive from Thy bounty. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen."

Gwen said, "Amen."

She puts a napkin on her lap while minding her manners.

Billy eats carefully and is mindful of his manners.

Ms. Tulip cuts her food and takes a bite.

Gwen enjoys her food and is peaceful.

Soon Ms. Tulip finishes her meal and goes to wash her dish.

Billy asks Gwen, "So, do you like it here so far?"

Gwen finished hers and said, "Yes I do Billy. It's amazing."

Billy just smiled and replied, "I'm glad."

Gwen smiles and helps her mom with the dishes.

Ms. Tulip finishes the last dish and says, "Thanks for helping Gwen."

Billy plays with his toy truck.

Gwen said, "You are very welcome mom. What should we do?"

 

[Kiki Zapatos]

Ms. Tulip replies, "You can play with Billy. I have to decorate your room."

Billy makes noises as he plays with his truck.

Gwen goes to play with Billy after putting her Mary Jane shoes beside the front door.
