Lasli was very confused, but then grew a large frown on her face. "Oooh...that skeleton! How fresh was he?! I have no idea where he is, but he better be far away from me!"

As the trio prayed to the statue, they could see a beam of light radiate down on it, and on them as well.

"I thank you for your piety," a voice called to them. "I am unable to do much for you all, due to the great darkness that has befallen Hyrule...but I can do this. You three now are under my protection, for a limited time."

Yuuki, Kokkoro, and Wakaba are blessed with immunity for the next day! They cannot be killed by Traitors at all during Day Two!

The shopkeeper happily exchanged the Rupees for the stones, and Jin was now 140 Rupees richer.

The items for sale were in baskets on two tables. There were Bird Eggs for 12 Rupees each, Goat Butter for the same price, Swift Carrots for 16, and Bokoblin Guts for 80.

"Swift Carrots are our specialty," she said. "My husband grows them himself."

After Fred had finished eating the food he was still stretching his shoulder a bit. Maybe he should check out that storage house? Excusing himself and thanking Teruteru for the food he got up and made his way to Impa's storage room to see if he could find something that could help his sore shoulder.

@Yun Lee

"Refreshments? I do have Milk, would that be all right? You could always ask Dorian to get you something from Impa's storage."

"Hey, big guy...Fred, yeah?" Dell offered Fred a plate.

"Oh, huh," Fred scratched his head awkwardly as he grabbed the plate. "Thanks." He inspected the rice ball intently before taking a bite. "This ain't half bad." Fred had always been more of a meat guy but this really wasn't so bad. He knew about some people in Bedrock that had started exclusively in eating greens to "look after the environment" or something. Though Fred didn't really know how changing what you're eating was going to help with that. You look around with your eyes after all, not with the food you eat.

Reimu was too busy eating her apple, and to be honest? Praying or making offerings were kind of unfaithful, since she was a Shinto Shrine maiden, she did reluctantly make a shrine for the Moriya, but that was it. Also that she liked her honey apple.
“Thanks, for the apples, they taste quite good actually. Bye b-”
Before she took her leave, she had a strange feeling, and then a light on the statue. Turning back around, she ran over to the trio and questioned them.
“What just happened? I just saw a beam of light behind me, and then some strange sound? Was it me, or did you see it too?”

As Fred ate, he would feel no pain in his shoulder, or anywhere for that matter. More importantly, he'd be relieved to know the rice balls were stuffed with seafood. "That's Hearty food for ya. Heals just about every injury, save for fatal ones."

"Hmm?" Paya looked up from behind the statue. She'd began cleaning it while they prayed. "I didn't see anything..."

Reimu raised an eyebrow at Paya, and she had many unanswered questions in her mind, most of which she ignored. Still she was somewhat puzzled.
“Don’t you take care of the statue? Then at the very least, you would be spiritually in touch, right? Please tell me I’m not going even more out of touch with reality..”
Sure, she sees random things in people, and sure, Reimu didn’t socialise much, but she wasn’t imagining a beam of light, right? It couldn’t be possible her powers were returning after all, she turned over to the trio and gave them a desperate look, for reassurance that they say it too.

Reimu turned back to return to the group.

"I'm pretty sure it's-"

Paya then mentioned that she did not see anything, causing Kokkoro to divert her choice of words.

"-just the moon, Lady Reimu. It is rather bright tonight, isn't it?"

Yuuki turns to look at Reimu as he nods and scratches his head, seeming to agree with Kokkoro's words.

"So, Miss," Kokkoro asks Paya, "might you be able to tell us about the goddess depicted here? Perhaps Lady Reimu would like to learn more about it, and I am curious about cultures that I have never stumbled upon before, fufufu..."

Knowing that they would most likely be traveling some ways from this village, given their day of journeying before now, Jin was inclined to consider purchasing some food for himself and those he considered friends. Looking over the produce, he nodded at the shopkeep's suggestion, picking two of the Swift Carrots along with a pound of goat butter and a bird egg. "This should be enough to satisfy my hunger tomorrow if we set out," Jin muttered aloud before setting out the required fifty-six gemstones on the counter for the woman to take once more, "Thank you for humoring a wanderer, madam."

Peter Parker-Amazing

Peter considered his options before he decided to ask. " Where is the most likely place that people who aren't native to here might stay for the night? Maybe I can find him there," he said.

@Yun Lee

Peter Parker-MCU

After making his point and waving a goodbye to the fairy, Peter decided he wanted to see what was going on around the inn. It was weird to not have money in this world, but maybe he could at least meet some merchant. He headed to the Shutetye Inn.

"U-Um..." Paya started to get nervous as Reimu pressed her for information, but Kokkoro's questions helped calm her. "This is Lady Hylia," she explained. The other Peter would find the inn to be a peaceful place, spacious enough for the six people to stay at. The innkeeper was asleep at his desk, and Kaito was sitting cross-legged on a futon, looking rather cross. There was also a guestbook on the table.

Guy maintained his intent gaze toward Clark. Though Guy's gaze weren't quite as intimidating as Clark's own, maintaining a mask of politeness and civility, there was certainly something determined fierce in his eyes. Like a look of burning resolve behind the pleasantry of mild personalities. Such was Guy Cecil.

When prompted to follow around Clark, bolstered by Kokkoro reinforcing the idea, the blonde could only let out a lightly exasperated sigh, scratching the back of his head.

"Ah... Perhaps you're right, Kokkoro. I'll... keep that in mind."

With Clark rejecting the offer of food, Guy simply decided to bag it for now, stashing it in his bag for later, having already had his fill, even if his actual eating time was short-lived.

"Yes, that would be quite... problematic, wouldn't it? Let's hope things don't come to that," Guy said to Clark, resting his hands on his hips, "Where are you going though? Perhaps it'd be best if we socialized with the other people in this merry party, hmm? The inn, the goddess statue, one of the neighboring houses? So many to choose from, wouldn't you think?"

@Josh @Crow @Atomic Knight @Yun Lee @Others

Clark seemed to be calming down, laying his anger to rest, however who knew when it'd would show again. Weary of Guy's word, Clark shook his head.

" What are you blind? Can't you see? I'm not a people person. The only reason I'm talking to you because you offered me food. It'd be rude to ignore that, right? Right!?."

Yelling the last word, Clark frowned. Calming down, he took a bite of his food.

"I'm Clark. This is pretty good. Not as good as my ma's cooking, but pretty good."

"Now, now. No need to shout," Guy uneasily laughed, "But, at the very least, to be a true hero, you have to really know the people who you... ah, what's the word... oversee. A king, queen, or even a god can do all they can to protect their people, but at the end of the day, it's the ones who truly get to know their... um, subjects who are appreciated as heroes. Come on," he further prodded Clark, thinking on the prospect of feeding the man's ego a bit (but not too much) and his self-image as a hero, or at least, a "super man."

Guy remembered his last adventure, how the townspeople continued to love Natalia even after she was betrayed, even after she was stripped of everything she thought was dear to her. Cliche as it may have sounded, truly, perhaps this was what one could call an application of the power of love. The world would be a much better place with that kind of sentiment.

Wouldn't it, Luke?

Crossing his arms and leaning against one of the nearby trees, Guy wistfully looked up at the blue sky, letting out a soft breath. "We all have it in us to be better, even if we couldn't possibly think there's more to us. And it'd be so easy, too. After all, even with just a small gesture, I managed to reach you, didn't I? C'mon, I'll be in your corner if you let me. If we all wanna figure out why we're here in the first place and get back home, it'd be all the better if we could all cooperate in harmony! What do you say?"

@Josh

Enu was happy to have company at the fire, especially since he doubted he could finish it all on his own. He tilted his head as he eyed Nadeshiko's frog, a thoughtfull expression crossing his face before he spoke, well... Sort of.

"... Keru?" He said, carefully placing one of his fish skewers in front of it.

Then... He offered one out to Nadeshiko as well, a cheerfull smile on his face.

❝ Aww, Kerokero likes the fish. ❞ Nadeshiko smiled with content as the frog started to taste the fish skewer. Seeing that her aquatic friend was enjoying itself, she went ahead to take a bite out of hers, and she held back a squealing reaction before letting it out as an excited voice.

❝ T-Thanks for sharing the yummy fish with me and Kerokero. I really like it! ❞ Cue the pinkette starting to really wolf down the food she had in her hands.

Jin nodded his head, understanding the woman's words well enough, though only considering them for the basic health benefits of vegetables. With his business there taken care of, the ronin made his way out of the store, looking to the path his group had walked to arrive in this town. Did he have time needed to reach the flower...?
