Illusion Prisoners of Hogwarts

Rio couldn't be more satisfied with his visit to Spintwitches. He was feeling great, and Quidditch had rightfully taken its place back in his mind...not as much as Isolde, though. Man, he couldn't wait for their date! Ooh, you know what she would love? Flowers. He could totally surprise her with flowers! Rio headed off into Dogweed and Deathcap, eager to see what he could buy for his girlfriend.

The exterior of the shop revealed things to come. As Rio stepped inside he was met with a humid and warm breeze like he had walked into a greenhouse.

Plants of varying shapes, sizes and colors welcomed him as he walked through the store. There didn't seem to be many people inside, but he could recognize Professor Maximus talking with the store clerk near the cash register.​

The male clerk and Gloriosa weren't talking about anything very interesting, mostly about how to grow specific plants and herbs or good soil content and things like that. After what seemed to be a good five minutes though Gloriosa realized that she was not the only costumer at the store. "Rio!" While most of the teachers always were rather formal in how they interacted with the students, professor Maximus was anything but, usually just using the students first names when having a conversation. "When did you arrive? Here I've just been prattling on without a care in the world!"

Professor Maximus' informality eased Rio considerably. He envied his little brother for having sych a laidback and cool house head, though McGonagall was cool too...when she wasn't, y'know, mad at him for getting into trouble. "Hey, Professor! I haven't been here long. I'm just trying to kill time before noon...oh, speaking of, do you think you can help me out? You know my girlfriend Isolde, right? Well, I have a date planned and it's gonna be super special, so I wanted to get her some really nice flowers, or plants, or something. Any suggestions?"

Professor Maximus' informality eased Rio considerably. Gloriosa got a mischievous grin on her face when Rio started talking about. "Aww you are flower shopping for your girlfriend? That is just too precious! Of course I will help you out!" Putting her arm around his shoulder Gloriosa started to escort him around the shop. "First I'd suggest some lilac's always pretty in a bouquet and they symbolize youthful innocence. Aaah, to be young and in love again..." She grabbed a couple of them as they walked past the stand.

"A lotus flower, pretty and topical." She said taking one as they walked by. "A few bell flowers and a piece of a green willow aaaand there!" Gloriosa had created a bouquet in white, purple and the green willow sitting next to the white lotus in the middle of it all. "It's not the prettiest, but you can't do much better in pure symbolism."

Ian Miles IV

Ian preferred to go the place that was going to be the most lively and saw Melody be glared by Swagglebone. " I wouldn't do that if I were you... well, unless you want to find trouble. I'll take a soda," he said. The prefect knew better than to try to indulge in front of a staff member. Only an idiot would do that, and it seemed that Melody was said idiot.

After everything that had happened, Kit was more than happy for the change in pace after the nightmare that was in the potions classroom days ago. He found it difficult to sleep the past few nights but he did eventually by tiring himself out, simply by scribbling simple mathematics on a piece of paper he'd have on his person or whatnot late at night until his brain couldn't keep a train of thought and his eyes grew heavy until he'd fall asleep did the trick.

Kit's eyes lit up at the thought of going to Hogsmeade, and once there a small smile made it's way to his features as he watched his brother instantly head off to the sporting goods store. Of course.

This quaint little village was cute in it's own way, so he was going to try and enjoy it and not nag or bother Rio about his one track mind with sports.

Since he hadn't seen her much lately, however, he decided to push himself a little and head into town with everyone else. As nervous as he was, Samael swallowed his anxiety and pressed forward, his blue eyes darting around the area to look for someone familiar he could walk with. He had hoped to find Mary, but the first familiar individual he ended up spotting was Kit. He waved and walked up to the other teen.

"H-Hey, have you decided where you're going yet? I don't come here very often so I'm not really familiar with the stores, but I was thinking about a book store. Tomes and Scrolls, I think it was called..."

Although he was trying to push himself, Sam honestly wasn't in a good mood. He still hadn't seen Isolde for a while and was starting to wonder if she was avoiding him on purpose. In truth, she was probably just busy, but Sam couldn't help himself from worrying about her.

Man, she's gonna love this..." Too bad he had no clue what flowers meant, but he could maybe try to explain to Isolde if she didn't know. "How do you remember all this stuff about flowers, anyway?"

"Hey Sam." Kit greeted the Slytherin with a wave back. Oh, this was Sam's first time here? Humming in thought he tapped his chin before he fully recalled the place Sam was definitely looking for.

"Tomes and Scrolls, this way." he said, motioning for Sam to follow him to the book shop. He made sure to keep in his sight among the bustle of students and townsfolk walking past, and made sure not to walk to fast either.

"How have you been so far today?" he asked.

It didn't take long for the two end up outside Tomes and Scrolls. A specialist bookshop and as its name sake it housed many tomes and scrolls for anyone who knew what they were looking for. Stepping inside the smell of musty old paper filled their nostrils. The interior area was dusty and brown with bookshelves and bookshelves worth of books and different scrolls. There didn't seem to be anyone else in here except a very old shop clerk behind the counter who was looking through what seemed to be a very old scroll.​

Melody saw out the corner of her eye, Professor Swagglebone giving the nonverbal way of saying something rather scary, and Melody looked away with a nervous expression, although right afterward she grumbled and was about to give the professor the V sign and tell him to Get Stuffed before Ian gave his oh so helpful information.
“And all you do is give out your emotionless and unhelpful remarks..Oh, I mean, I’m sorry Ian, but since when was Swagglebone anything less than a creepy teacher, it’s not like he’ll hurt or murder students or anything....right?”
Melody felt like she had a bucket of cold water wash over her, and tried to make up for it, although it was a bit half hearted since she was glutting down butterbear.
“I mean, I didn’t mean to say that of course! But you might want to stop creeping around, and never doing anything...”
She looked at Swagglebone nervously for a bit though, as if observing him carefully and cautious.

The chatter of children and laughter filled the air as Rolien walked in. The shop was always very lively and this day was no exception with a lot of children and adults alike inside trying to get their hands on the sweets of their choosing. There was shelves upon shelves of different kind of treats inside the shop. Next to the Acid Pops she could spot Professor Fantasma looking very undeceive in what he should pick up.

The inn also seemed to be alive with people of different ages. As the glass of beer came close to Melody's lift she could get the faint feeling that someone was watching her. From the corner of her eye she could spot Professor Swagglebone glaring daggers at her. Oh boy if looks could kill...​

As Rolien looks around, she notices surprisingly one of the teachers. She starts to walk towards the teacher. "I did not... eh... verwacht... a... teacher here..." Rolien said to Fantasma. "Do you like... ehh... sweet?"

Ian was unphased by what Melody said. There was no witty comeback or retort to that comment. He just blankly stared at her and shrugged when she asked her question. As far as he knew Swagglebone hadn't murdered or hurt any of the students physically. Emotionally by taking points from Slytherin and just being rude, yes, but he had never physically hurt anyone for that matter. He was quiet, debating what to say next.

Ian glared as he heard what she was mumbling. " If you knew half of what I was doing, you might actually be saying thank you," he emotionlessly retorted.
