Professor Fantasma took one of them off the shelves to show to Rolien.

"I-It's still in its wrapper...b-but the f-frog inside is magical a-and will try to escape i-if you don't e-eat it quick. T-They are quite tasty."

"Try to es- those are... levende... frogs?" Rolien looked at the teacher with wide eyes before her expression looked like she was disgusted by the idea.

"Well, they aren't completely alive if that's what you think," Juno said, popping up behind Rolien and Fantasma in the confectionary, raising a finger like a young teacher making a point, "Chocolate frogs are made up mostly of a material called croakoa, which allows them to act like real frogs, but really aren't. Enchanted candies like these really are quite something, aren't they?" She said, before dropping her arm and resting her hand on her hip, glancing toward Fantasma now.

As the days passed since Halloween, she still admittedly felt awkward about the skittish professor after he had used an unforgivable curse on that monster, even if it was to protect her and the other students. Still, Juno tried her best to hide that discomfort; there was something that was going on with him and Professor McGonagall, and whatever it was, the Prefect could only hope that it wasn't something sinister. Not like what that Myre boy and others seemed to think of Umbridge anyway (not that there wasn't anything that might suggest so).

"Good day, Professor Fantasma. I trust you're in good health?" Juno asked politely, looking through the shelves and picking up a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavored Beans, considering for a moment if she ought to buy it.

It didn't take long for the two end up outside Tomes and Scrolls. A specialist bookshop and as its name sake it housed many tomes and scrolls for anyone who knew what they were looking for. Stepping inside the smell of musty old paper filled their nostrils. The interior area was dusty and brown with bookshelves and bookshelves worth of books and different scrolls. There didn't seem to be anyone else in here except a very old shop clerk behind the counter who was looking through what seemed to be a very old scroll.

@Neko Shogun @Takumi

"Symbolism and meaning's very important."
Gloriosa replied with a smile. "If I don't remember this then someone else has to! Better be me than anyone else, right?"

@Yun Lee

Kit took a look at some of the tomes on the shelves, despite them being covered in dust. After a moment he turned to look at Sam.

"So, what exactly are you looking for?" he asked his companion. Je did glance over to the old man at the desk, hoping he wasn't speaking too loudly and disturbing him.

@Jeremi @Neko Shogun

"Yeah, I guess that's true..." Rio looked to the door as it opened and gave Wisteria a friendly wave. "Yo! Wisteria! Check out this bouquet Professor Maximus made! It's all symbolic and stuff!"

@Jeremi @Kaykay

"Heya Rio!" Wisteria smiled and waved back. She looked at the bouquet he was holding. Her eyes widened a bit as she peered over each of the flowers. "Oooh, it really is! Especially the lilac and lotus. Is it for a girl?"

Somehow, she felt like she knew the answer to that. Also, that someone else had told him about the flowers' meanings. Speaking of which...
"Why if it isn't one of my favorite students!" Gloriosa shouted as Wisteria stepped him. "Hufflepuff reign supreme! Isn't that right, Wisteria?"

@Kaykay @Yun Lee

"Oh, Professor Gloriosa! That's right!" she replied, giving a salute of sorts. "Whatcha buying for class? Or are you perhaps shopping for fun?"

Professor Fantasma's started to stammer profusely when Juno came unto the scene, but he managed finally to get a word out. "Y-Yes that's exactly it. Croakoa...yes..." He then gave her a meek wave. "G-Good day Ms Post. I-I-I-I'm doing fine, thank you."

Gloriosa laughed. "Oh you know me! I always love mixing business and fun! Look forward to some crazy stuff come Monday is all I'm saying!"

As they were speaking if Rio looked down at the bouquet he'd find it a rotten shriveled mess of bramble and dead flowers, but blinking seemed to restore them to their full vigor. Was his eyes playing tricks on him?

"Oh absolutely! I have a date today with Is...olde..." Rio blinked a few times, unsure of what he just saw. DID he just see something? Nah...maybe he was just tired. Or something. This was supposed to be a good day! A good day where he got to hang out with his girlfriend and enjoy freedom away from Hogwarts. Besides, he promised McGonagall he'd stay out of trouble.

"Er, sorry, thought I saw a bee," he said, chuckling nervously. "But yeah! Isolde and I have plans at Madam Puddifoot's today."

Kit had to do a double take, eyes widening for a split second. Was he seeing things? Turning to Sam he mutter in a low whisper, "D-did you see that?" please tell him that he wasn't the only one who saw!

He stole another glance towards the clerk, feeling a bit nervous and unsure of his own eyes and mind now.

Melody raised an eyebrow at Ian, she wasn’t really paying attention since her eyes were focused on Swagglebone and then the beer, sure, butterbear had barely any alcohol in it, but she was on her second jug now, and she didn’t seem so hot, maybe she’s just like those people who can’t drink much alcohol.
“Yeah, whatever you say...Swagglebone’s just a wet blanket, I get the best marks on potions and I can’t even get a well done from him. Not every third year can make an amazing Wit-Sharpening potion you know, ya?
Melody leaned in a bit closer to the emotionless kid, looking around at the others in the Inn to make sure.
“I know ‘Wagglebone’s a prick, but do you think he has anything else of suspicion? Strange incidents? Injuries maybe? You stop that by the way, you can’t possible be so emotionless all the time.”
Being one of strong emotion, emotionlessness really seemed off to her, despite her being quite empty as well on some days, such a hypocrite. She seemed kind of drowsy due to the influence of the butterbear though, as she finished her jug.

Rolien almost jumped into Professor Fantasma as someone came seemingly out of nowhere behind them, or perhaps she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings. However, as she picks up of what Juno said, she was lost to what was said. Giving the other student a confused expression as she didn't understand everything. "Eh... I don't... eh... volledig... ehh... begrijp... you..." she said before mumbling something barely audible in Dutch.

The clerk just continued on with his work in looking through the scrolls that he had stacked up next to him. It seemed like there wasn't anything peculiar going on at least for the time being.

Gloriosa replied reaching out to give Rio a little pinch on the cheek. "I hope my bouquet will help you on your way! Hey! That rhymed!"

As Melody and Ian continued talking Professor Swagglebone got up from his seat and made his way towards the two, not allowing his glance to go away for even a second. "Please, continue." He replied with an icy tone. "It seems that this is something I should hear."

"C-Croakoa is the ingredient that makes the frog move."
Professor Fantasma tried to explain. "I-I'd open one but...the l-line is long and I-I-I haven't bought them yet."

@Ver @Donder172

"Heh, I'm sure it will," Rio replied, rubbing his cheek. "Oh-I should be getting over there now. Thanks again, Professor! See you, Wisteria!" Quickly paying for the bouquet, Rio scurried off to Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop. It could be attributed to young love making him excited, but in truth, there was a small part of Rio that was kind of scared to be in the flowershop anymore. That little vision...ugh. He needed to stay out of this weird stuff. That memory of the monster looming over Kit, the fear that his little brother would end up like Sandra...it terrified him to no end. So, he would happily turn a blind eye to anything weird or creepy or unusual (which in itself is hard to do when you're a wizard) and just focus on a nice, fun, safe schoolyear.

Once at the tea shop, Rio made sure he got a special table-one he and Isolde went to often. Sitting down, he moved the napkin holder to check if it was still there...yep, it was. Carved on the table in a tiny heart was R.M. + I.D. Corny, yeah, but he was in love. Even with not seeing Isolde for very much this year, he was still crazy about her. Crazy enough, in fact, to do something extra special.

Taking out his wand, Rio pointed it at his hair. "Colovaria!" The periwinkle changed to a soft blonde. Very few people ever saw Rio with his natural hair color, even though one look at Kit made it fairly obvious Rio was a blonde. As he had a special plan for this date, he wanted to be truly and completely himself for Isolde.

And now...just to wait.

Juno posted her lips at the skittish two before her, stifling a visible frown. This was already an exchange she was beginning to regret, though she kept that thought to herself. Placing a hand on her hip with a sigh, the sixth-year let Fantasma clarify for Rolien, before looking toward the line herself.

"Well... I suppose while we're here and talking about it, I may as well have some for myself. Wizard cards have become something of a vice of mine recently, and I suppose after how the year has been so far, it wouldn't be so wrong to indulge in such a harmless vice. Wouldn't you agree?" She inquired, reaching for a box as well along with her Every-Flavored-Beans, "Are you in a rush or so, Professor Fantasma? If the line is a bother for you..."

Fantasma asked sound rather chipper as he did so. "I-it's a vice for me too...I-I just can't stop collecting..." The professor looked over to the cashier before looking back at Juno. "N-No rush really...I-It would also be improper for a teacher to g-go in line before s-students so..."

Ian looked over at Swagglebone, only half paying attention to whatever Melody was saying. Of course, it is most likely your drunk state speaking," he replied back.

"Hehe, that's true, isn't it? I'll look forward to it as always then!" Wisteria replied. Though curious about what exactly the herbology professor had in mind, impatience never did anyone any favors. She waved at Rio as he made his quick exit. "Good luck Rio!"

She remained silent for a few seconds after Rio left before looking back to Professor Gloriosa.

"He looked a little worried, didn't he professor?"

Normally she'd probably have shrugged it off as what Rio had claimed it was. However, though she didn't want to admit it, the recent happenings at Hogwarts had begun to put her on edge as well. And since Rio had been there with her both times, she found it a little strange to be so put off by just a bee.

They were nice little creatures after all.

"Well... If you insist then," Juno said when Fantasma offered her the first spot in line. With that, she made her purchase and then proceeded to pocket her box of Every-Flavored Beans for the time being, keeping her Chocolate Frog box on hand and fiddling with it idly as she stepped out line afterward, "I do hope I don't get another Fulbert the Fearful card. I can only fathom how many of those I've stumbled across the previous times I've had a Chocolate Frog," she sighed, putting a hand on her hip as she spoke.

"A shame they don't have any pumpkin pasties here, but perhaps they're all just sold out now that Halloween has passed..."

"What a nice save." Swagglebone replied in a less hostile tone. "Yet here I am standing. Not even on my free time can I get rid of you students. Whispering and questioning. Is authority that hard to follow?" This was mainly aimed towards Melody then Ian.

Well it wasn't Fulbert the Fearful on the card but it was some she knew. Staring back at her from the card was a picture of herself. The image of her on the card then started to grow old and wither until the only thing left was a skeleton that scattered into dust.

Melody was in fact, quite drunk, as a 13 year old who has never drank alcohol with a low threshold on this stuff, it was somehow possible for her to get drunk on this. Her face was red, not to mention she was holding another jug of the stuff, or is it not butterbear? Maybe the barmaid gave her some stronger stuff since it wasn't common for someone to get drunk from just butterbear.
" 'm drunk? But simply pointin' out surely isn't Blasphemy, Am I right? Uhh..My stomach is killin' me...I'm gonna go now? Yes?"
Melody realised she was in a somewhat dangerous spot, and made the excuse of beginning to run to the bathroom, not to mention she did feel sick, But as she went to the bathroom, she turned around and said something.
"Now I know why I go-got into Gyffindor 'nstead of Slytherin, You people are so..cold. Ahh, I shoulda brought a wide eye potion with me...'ell, it was nice to meet you but as I would say it, Toodles!~"
Melody turned to the bathroom and sluggardly dragged her self into the bathroom.

"I... eh... will look... around... I... don't see what... I am... looking for..." Rolien said, the last two words almost like a question. She looked around for a moment to look for what she wanted to buy should she find it. To her disappointment, she did not find what she wanted. So she settled for the chocolate frogs. She took one and walked to the queue.

If Swagglebone's eyes could roll any faster in his eyes they would've gone into escape velocity. As Melody was leaving towards the bathroom the professor spoke. "500 points from Gryffindor." Then he looked at Ian. "And a 100 points from Slytherin." With that out of the way he took very menacing steps towards Melody. "I do not care what you do. I do not care what you say. What I do care about is the sheer stupidity on exhibit in this place, and I'm not just talking about the patrons. Perhaps dear student whose name I have not cared to remember. Next time you plan on being stupid, do it some place where you can't be judged, yes?"

Professor Fantasma did the same and paid what ended up to be a rather large bag of sweets.
